Attack on Titan has ruined everything for me. Long story short, I watched AOT and it raised my standards to the point that now I can't enjoy anyother k drama or show. I find the stories boring, characters lacking and a pot full of plot holes. I need suggestions from you guys. Are there anyother animes that are atleast half as good as AOT (apart from vinland saga) ? You can recommend k dramas or books as well.

the ending was pretty obvious and was even teased in one of the OVAs years before the manga ended. I dunno why people pretend the ending is bad when they stuck with the series despite all the foreshadowing.

None of them, not one, could come up with a single rational refutation to what he said, and outright admitted that opposing his decision would be completely fricking moronic. But then they just do anyway, and both they and eventually Eren himself act like he was somehow incorrect, even though it was never established.

No, the series isn't pro genocide because all of the characters condemn what Eren did and completely ignore all the reasoning he previously gave as to why it was the only logical choice, and even Eren himself refuses to defend his actions and acts like he didn't already give a perfectly reasonable explanation of why he did the rumbling. Also 80% is moronic, and his friends were already considered heroes by everyone who would have been left alive if he went all the way.

The fact that Isayama failed to actually write why Eren was wrong does not mean that the story (after chapter 123) isn't written in such a way that acts as if Eren was wrong. Which it is, even though it completely fails to establish why. So the final message ends up being that you shouldn't kill people who are actively trying to exterminate your entire civilization, even if it's the only way to survive. A total inversion of the first 90% of the manga, and completely cucked.

Wow international fans are vocal about the last chapter and they are not happy. Theyre discontented with the way eren's character is going and the whole lelouch route. I guess they were holding out hope for a genocide. There's even a petition that's garnered thousands of signatures to have the series wiped from their memory. The very last panel of the manga is Paradis getting bombed into non-existance. It didn't "act like it was a good thing Eren was stopped and killed", it juxtaposed, by accident or otherwise, delusional pacifistic optimism against the only logical outcome after what happened.
It was entirely by accident. The visual and writing presentation was that stopping Eren was a good thing and that the people who did it were heroes for doing so, even if factually this is fricking moronic and obviously Eren was both logically correct and morally justified.
