It's a shame though, I like a lot of aspects of the game, and I feel like this game should be excatly up my alley - but it's just boring. I'm not sure what is it exactly that makes it so boring, I guess it's largely the bland world design and repetitiveness of the enemies. I hope DD2 is good.
>I'm not sure what is it exactly that makes it so boring, I guess it's largely the bland world design and repetitiveness of the enemies.
Dragon's Dogma is nearly completely detatched itself from the fundamentals of action games, melee combat based entirely on hitbox collisions, predefined ranges for attacks and so on. If you play daggers or sword it feels more like God of War 2018 than Monster Hunter
shhhhh shut up moron, you know we're supposed to make the newbies waste dozens of hours on this garbage until they mindfrick themselves into thinking this bland, run-of-the-mill RPG is actually good
It’s not the worst but DD is really slow to start. I played it after beating Elden Ring and got really annoyed running out of stamina while not in combat. It just made me not wanna keep playing because I wanted to get from point A to B but it felt like it was taking forever. And it’s really easy to get jammed by some higher level enemy when doing this. I can see why the game has a cult following. But I also can recognize why DD never became the other Souls game. DD2 will probably be a better game but it honestly looks like more of the same which has me a little worried.
is anyone working on a "there will only be 9 vocations!" variant of that? There's been more than enough of those kind of doomster posts to fill that image 3X over.
It was was. I physically jumped out of seat when Itsuno finally said the thing at the end of the special. Within moments Ganker erupted like I have never quite seen it do before.
also ignoring the benefit on console which is used games, go to a store that accepts trade ins or buys and sells games and you can get most ps4/3 games for like $5 all year round.

Only games that are old as shit and actually produced and on cd.
>pop up grass, monsters, and NPCs, they literally appear from nowhere >bad blurry textures >input delay of the ass
Switch is the worst platform for this game.
If you have the choice of anything then PC, but any console will run is fine. Switch can't run it at native resolution, but it looks fin for the most part.
DD1 had terrible pieces of clothing even when you went shirtless, and even on male characters. Underwear that went very high on the chest. Modding was essential to get this out of the way. Not sure what they will pull with DD2 but I'd say PC is probably your safest bet.
If you mean the first game, then PC, it's got unlocked FPS up to 150 FPS, all consoles are locked to 30 FPS which is stupid since PS4 and Xbone should be able to handle the game at 60 fps easily.
If you mean DD2, then also PC, assuming you have a decent PC, you'll get better performance and visuals, if you've got a toaster then get it on PS5, I guess.
i'll burn out on the gameplay if i play it again now. i need constant variety. i can only usually play one kind of game for like a week at most before i start getting the itch to play something else. if i play dd1 now, i 100% won't feel like playing 2 on release. i'll wait instead
It's boring when you fight large enemies too. Their weakpoints and climbing gimmick only serves to make them even more formulaic to fight against. I can't possibly imagine why someone would play this when Monster Hunter exists. You either "make your own fun" by purposefully not trivializing the braindead easy and broken combat or slash through everything with its poorly balanced and repetitive joke of class design, but the setting isn't as interesting, detailed and with unique encounters like a Morrowind or Oblivion or Gothic would be where you can ignore bad and trivial gameplay
It has good combat and keeps you nearly always in the action rather than making you walk into a bland pointless open world, which is more that can be said for Dragon's Dogma

uuuuuuuuuuuuuff there's so much good stuff
I tried playing this game twice and got bored by the time I got to the city both times. I love DMC/HFTF but I hate Skyrim. I just don't think the game's for me. Why is there so much hitstop on everything it doesn't even feel good it just feels choppy
Furious Fernando said the game wasn't good so I didn't play it
He said there was a lot of backtracking slow traversal and it sounds exactly like what I don't enjoy
as someone who has 100%'d this game four times across four different consoles I don't think replaying before release is a good idea. Seems like a way to get burnt out before the game even starts.
I've seen this image used a lot for DD but what does it mean? I played the game recently and there's nothing particularly special about the encounter, it's just a few bandits.
aside from the boulder, it's the first area in the game with a "high difficulty" encounter. obviously the game is telling to come back when you're stronger but most people keep pushing through and would fight the bandits despite dying to them multiple times
I had no difficulty going through there and all I really did beforehand was fight the Hydra, might be hard if you ignored everything the game told you and went right there at level 1 or did your first playthrough on Hard mode or something
Aren't you suppose to go to that area before Gran Soren though for the village girl who's the obvious designated waifu? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought if you didn't do it then you couldn't do her quest.
What do you guys think the odds of the OG cast returning are? They got Grigori back with his original voice actor, and we got Gransys returning faithfully. I hope we get to see Julien again.
>What do you guys think the odds of the OG cast returning are?
Do we know anything about when the game takes place? I don't think it takes place in Gransys. Personally, I just assumed that since DD1 and DDO basically took place in different realities, the same applied to DD2. Does the cycle of endless return even apply to DDO? DD2? Should we even expect there to be a Seneschal or for the Dragon in 2 to have the same role as the Dragon in 1?
So if the Dragon itself can somehow stop itself from seeking out new Arisen to eventually challenge the Seneschal, the Seneschal can't do shit? I'm guessing all the other dragons are from before the good Dragon came along or are from different realities being called in to reinforce the cycle or something? Now that I think about it, what happens if one reality somehow ends up losing all of its Dragons? There'd be no one left to challenge people to see if they're up for the task of challenging the Seneschal.

God, for all the horseshit I've put up with in these past few years, once in a while Mr. Jesus sends me a nice bit of nostalgic good-times.
I just bought it on ps4 because it’s 80% off ($6 dollarydoo’s).
Is there anything I should know before I play? I don’t spoilers or “optimal builds”, I’ll figure that out on my own. But I mean basic shit that dampens your experience if you don’t know.
Like “play on Hard otherwise it’s brain dead easy”, or “for the love of god change xxxx-setting in the options menu”
Only thing I can think of is save often, especially if you're wandering around the open world. The game auto-saves only during certain windows like entering/exiting a town/dungeon so if you're exploring and die you could actually lose hours of progress.

Adding onto what the other anon said, make sure to rest in an inn before doing quest objectives. Some aren't the most intuitive. Resting at an inn basically gives you your second save slot that you can return to.
One that got me on my first playthrough:
A merchant asks you for an item. There are three variants available. Do NOT give him a low or mid tier one, you will not be able to get the true masterworks. You cannot give him a new one later.
it's brain dead easy, bad build turns enemies into damage sponges but that's it. enemy variety, items and builds everything in this game is mediocre, the story and characters are just corny
- Do the Quina Witchwood quest early on, before you enter the Capital. Yes, bandits will slap your ass. No, you should not come back later, just perservere and do it.
- In the Capital, you can forge items. This includes quest items. Some quest items are more than just inventory filler and benefit you passively. Sometimes NPCs want their quest items back. Hint hint.
- Spoiled children are sore losers.
- Blonde big titty merchant is the best person to give a certain quest item too, not the blacksmith.
- Level-up stats don't matter in the long run but it helps to focus on either physical/magic for the mid-game. Anyone advocating minmaxing or complaining about stats is a sociopath and you can ignore them.
Other than that, just do your own thing and wolves hunt in packs etc. etc.
Wonder if this will be playable Day 1 on Linux, been going through the RE games and they're perfect. I don't want to have to boot into my bindows partition

when I picture people being paid to shill video games I would imagine hoards of pajeets upvoting facebook posts and tiktoks to boost the algo, not a first worlder coombaiting on Ganker. >Remove vignette >Don't blind me >Change character appearance at any time
Only ones I'd considers essential. MK alternative stat growth is also good if you want to try that class.
coop always boosts the sale of a game out the ass, this game is already party based. Why wouldn't they take that free marketing win and add some online to it? They already have it working with the DD 1 engine with DD online. I'm not saying online would make it a better game just that it would boost sales for sure.
>because it just isn't a multiplayer game
HAHAHAHAHAHA sure nintendie >Got any new material yet homosexual?
Everytime you call tendies out the doomposting stops for a while, because you morons are too busy trying to deny it
Why is there an insistence on multiplayer with this? Why would you basically want a new IP for the sequel if you liked the first game. Even with DDO they changed so much to accomodate multiplayer it felt more like a flashy MMO than DD.
>Why is there an insistence on multiplayer with this?
there isn't
Mostly people who've only ever watched the game and haven't played it.
The game would be much too easy if instead of a mentally moronic single digit IQ pawn who doesn't even attack the mimic that's eating you you had a real person on your side.

150cm is the shortest we've seen for a male character. In DD1, you could go below the minimum height by reducing your head size and using certain head shapes. Female characters could also go shorter than male ones, while not being able to go as tall.
I swear, the entire first day I have this game will be just messing with the character creation. Then, the next day will be creating the perfect pawnwife.
Thanks anons, 150 sounds a bit large, but maybe it'll look smaller in game because of all the 220 cm warriors.
How small could you go in DD1? 140, if I recall correctly?
It all depends on how cute you can make the face, I assume.
Wiki says below 140cm, so it seems they're quite a bit taller no matter what, which kind of disappoints me. I guess we'll see when the demo comes out, maybe you can change leg lenght to shorten your character further.
stamina und carry weight are tied to height, and shorter characters get brined easier when fording rivers.

Like in real life.
Kinda. Tall characters have faster non-sprint movement, short characters can fit into tighter spaces (not a whole lot of these in DD1)
I just hate to see any downgrades in terms of character creation because I'm very excited for that part of the game. DD1 already had one of the best in any non-mmo game, with features most devs don't bother implementing. Just adding in more face-oriented adjustment options would make it superb.
I agree that it has a great character generator, but it's still very basic and the damage formula is atrocious. I do expect Dd2 to be way better.
Can I run from where the game starts to bbi to buy a archistaff? How hard is it to avoid enemies? 100h for a complete run enough?

The thing is, they're using a new physics engine and they need to pick some kind of range for character models that's reasonable. You might get horrendous problems with character interactions, hitboxes, even just camera positioning once you get outside of a certain range. For QA it can be a real nightmare if there's any things that have been overlooked.
In Elden Ring you can actually use a character resizer mod to make your character any size and it actually works pretty well, but then you make yourself taller and you have to turn off fall damage because mild drops will cause you to be considered falling. You can play Elden Ring in ant mode and it's surprisingly playable, even if it's absurdly jank, but suddenly all these issues turn up that you would barely consider otherwise, like automatic culling on foliage in-front of the camera, large enemies standing directly on top of you, etc.
It does seem like there's still enough range for variety and you can still make goblin people so that's fine with me. In any case I would bet money that mods could easily adjust character sizes further.
shortest we've seen so far is 150 cm, might be lower but until we get a demo we can't come to any conculsions

If they fix the garbage stamina system and the quests that just makes you run the half of the map I'll get it. The combat in the original isn't really good but it's serviceable and I want to see what they will do to the story

What does it mean anon, come back from discord and tell me.
You need to figure out where all roads lead, what creatures ill like fire, and to stay away from pic related until you know what you're doing or go there at night
Hire OP pawns and sleepwalk through the game.
You can go straight through the Witchwood, despite what these other replies imply, by just hiring some BBI gear level 5 pawn with 700 atk/def that shits on everything for you. Best part is that you can have TWO of these guys.
DD is a baby game made for babies who want to PLAY AS the escort target in other games.
No they don’t. Pawns that are at or below your level cost 0. There are a bunch of BBIgod pawns that are very low level (below 10) so you should be able to get them pretty much as soon as you get to the encampment. From that point on you just swap them out for higher level BBI pawns as you level up.
Is it more difficult if one goes duo only?
The game is a bit harder if you only go with you and your main pawn by virtue of you being down two people, but I’m pretty sure that you and your pawn get a +25% exp boost for each missing other pawn so you get that to even things out.

>the chest farming nearly killed me. Several times.
Yeah, I could do without the RNG shit. I got the full hellfire set, but I couldn't bring myself to roll getting the really OP modifier for the helmet.
*a fat bastard.
Too bad you have to play as a fatty to minimize getting grappled. Even my max height max muscle character was too light to be resistant.
Couldn't you just carry more shit? Most weight mechanics actually went orf total weight (character+inventory). At the very least the pressure plates did.
I'd be very surprised if they didn't. And they will be on steroids going by the rest of the ensemble. The real question is whether or not Arthacos will make another appearance. I love that big Black person like you wouldn't believe.
I also thought that, but then I realized all of the gobs on screen were Hobbs (and a few were muddy/drenched) and the form barely visible past/under the crate was much smaller, so it was either a normal gob carrying it/having it's legs through the bottom of it or something else

You might be right, it would be really sick if we had either mimicks for common items you break and not just boxes, or if there are actually monsters that hide so when you break these objects they jump at you.
I must have tried playing the game like 5 times now but always fail to finish it due to autism, with the furthest I got being the latest attempt a year or two back all the way up to the encounter with the dragon in the fortress but I dropped it because he decided I was a gay. I'm going to give it one more shot now before 2 drops.
come on you fricking morons, I've read that difficulty doesn't change unless you manually set it up to hard, and that the final boss has a different skin, what gives?
2 looks shit though. I can already tell there won't be any coomer clothes like the leather chest guard that was just a leather bra for women. None of the characters they've shown who are clearly romances look attractive. I'd rather Itsuno let it stay dead then this.
Didn't Itsuno say the game will have "more than you expect"?

I mean "only fighter can equip this" and "only mage can equip this" armours, thats extremely rare in DD to the point where I think ther is only like 3 items in the game that do it.
Anonymous
You must be misremembering things. There are some basic clothing items that can be worn by any vocation, but mages cannot wear actual armor, nor can fighters wear magical robes.
Anonymous
No no anon, I mean that if a mage can wear it, most likely sorcerer, MA and even MK can wear it too in some cases. The game doesnt say "only fighter can equip this specific piece of armour" it says red classes, that includes warrior and MK.
So the item in question being a robe worn by trickster, does not mean that it is going to only be for players and not pawns because a hybrid is wearing it, because I highly doubt the armour is specifically and only for the trickster class, and not ALL the magic classes that wear light armour.
Anonymous
Yeah, that might be true. Bought it recently, didn't play it, yet. It does seem according to wiki that mages can only wear robes and warriors are the only ones that can wear very heavy armor.
Are the advanced classes generally better than the basic ones?

Mage is more support while Sorcerer is the one you want for any of the cool looking spells you'd have seen in videos. Strider has a shortbow and daggers while ranger has the daggers as well but is more a sniper with a longbow. Fighter uses a sword and shield while Warrior has a big sword. There's also hybrids which usually combine elements of two vocations with something new, like Assassin can use a sword but instead of a shield has a parry, plus striders shortbow.
>I can already tell there won't be any coomer cloth-ACK
Those are pawns wearing the outfit, people are focusing on the one with the mommy milkers, but on the left that is a black cat wearing something similar, so there is at least 2 confirmed coomer outfits.
Most armor/clothing we've seen is stuff from DD1 recreated 1:1, pretty sure the longerie has already been spotter under a female character's cloak early on.

She better speak broken English.
Yesterday I got thrown in a dungeon and tortured.
Aelinore IS a shameless harlot.
I was wondering, considering you can play the Arisen as a woman, does the game give you male equivalents of Quina, Aelinore, Mercedes, Madeleine and Selene? All of them have several quests with cutscenes, and no male character has had the same treatment so far.
DD is a male fantasy game created for the male incel audience, it caters solely to them. This is not a flaw.
I think barnaby is a potential male love interest. And besides, you're much more likely to get the blacksmith or fat guy than you are to get your waifu of choice.
There was two, Julien and Valmiro. I consider any who have unique dialogue for the arisens bond to be the main love interests and I'm pretty sure they both have that, but the vast majority were women.
2 honestly looks the same, on the character page for the game they have 3 guys in the 9 characters shown (although one looks like the evil Queen so I doubt she's an option, or her good boy son who looks kind of underage so depends with him)
I'm holding out hope there's a bleeting shegoat tier love interest they just chose not to reveal yet.
I can't say I'm very interested in the ones we've seen.
I think the original P3 was about 80 hours so I'd expect the same, maybe longer depending on what they've added. Infinite Wealth will probably be similar or longer, they've said a few times it's the longest Yakuza they've made. I'll probably end up switching between Persona 3 and Dragons Dogma 2 by the time I'm done infinite wealth.
Right now I'm leaning towards just saying frick it and get DD2 on PS5 instead of PC as long as a performance mode gets confirmed. I don't need 4k(i), would be happy with 1620(i)@60fps. Plus the Pro seems to be coming this year, and PS will have the biggest playerbase which is good for pawn variety.
I'm just so tired of studios slapping this invasive & potentially insecure shit on top of something as unimportant as a video game. They're only hurting paying customers, they're not gonna stop determined people.
>They're only hurting paying customers, they're not gonna stop determined people.
Unfortunately, Denuvo has put a serious dent in this argument given all but one person gave up on cracking it. And even they don't seem very interested in doing so anymore.
that part was aimed at enigma, as apparently that's not difficult to get around. They're basically using obfuscation software from a dollar store literal-who "company" that's near impossible to find any concrete information on... for no good reason.
It just seems very sketchy, surely a company the size of Capcom could afford something more reputable and trustworthy if they want take a more active anti-modding stance.
>started replaying recently >forget you can get locked out of quests >miss Quina's quest >immediately afterwards fail Mercedes' escort quest >don't have any saves before reaching Grand Soren >no longer want to play and don't want to remake my character and start over because i like how they look
A bandit ambush near-ish to the starting area. Early quests point you in that direction, however the bandits there are much higher level enemies than you are by then.
It has good combat and keeps you nearly always in the action rather than making you walk into a bland pointless open world, which is more that can be said for Dragon's Dogma
Worth it in general? No, worth for that specific case? Maybe, you might need that 12 gb of VRAM for 1440p.
You should wait either way for the Super version of that card.
The damage formula absolutely ruined the game for me. There were some good parts but it wasn't very fun to actually play. Is the second game doing anything to change up the formula, or will they stick with it for some ungodly reason?
what's so bad about it? seemed pretty straight forward to me
What's so good about it? You either end up doing no damage because you're below the threshold or you breeze through combat encounters because you can actually do damage. You could also stack buffs to handle enemies you shouldn't or even 1 shot bosses. The system was a complete mess, eliciting no fun from the player. I will say that those early enemy encounters where you can't handle the enemies were definitely memorable, but again, didn't contribute to a great gameplay experience.
>look at the new gameplay from last week >Warrior Arisen jumps off and lands a massive hit on trolls face >Standing on it smacking the shit out of it >Troll uppercuts and sends him flying, followed by a dropkick onto him
Yep, I'm thinking we're back warrior bros.
I've tried to play this game like 4 times and everytime I just get incredibly bored. I hate the "fast travel" system recollecting stones, combat with a great sword is boring, enemies are just UNFAZED by your attacks and they have like mega armor and quests are just fetch delivery boys.
Deep inside I really wanted to like this game but I just couldn't bring myself to be entertained by it.
>enemies are just UNFAZED by your attacks and they have like mega armor
Did you play on Hard mode? Because you shouldn't since it gives enemies a lot of knockdown and stagger resistance, and you'll suffer in the early game, specially with Warrior, but either way, the game might simply not be for you, it's not perfect and the cons might not outweigh the pros for you.
>Did you play on Hard mode?
Yes I did, I usually always play games at their hardest for the perks Hard Mode gives like increased exp and gold.
Is this game a case of Hard Mode better being reserved for NG+?
I swear enemies having mega armor was one of the main reasons the combat killed the game for me, they managed to make Greatswords boring. If I hit an enemy with a great sword I expect the enemy to explode, not to be literally unmoved by it.
Hard mode is simply a poor balanced afterthought, it wasn't even in the game originally but was DLC.
You level up faster and get a lot of extra gold, making the game easier for certain vocations, and can be easily cheesed if you know what you're doing.
And the way it makes the game harder are questionable, like you experienced yourself, it makes enemies very difficulty to stagger or knockdown, and Warrior suffers a lot in this mode, and Warrior is already considered one of the weaker vocations in normal mode.
If you think you can give it a another try, try the intended normal mode instead.
I guess I will if the hydra's head quest and fast travel stones don't filter me again.
Should I follow a guide to complete all the quest or is it fine to leave some unsolved if I don't find them on time??

Just in the beginning, just before doing the hydra oxcart quest, make sure you find Quina, that one you do not want to miss out on.
I wouldn't recommend a guide... >What's the most fun class to play as?
For me? The most fun vocation is Assassin, it's the most versatile imo and has very cool skills.
Ng+ warrior hard mode yay or nay
Only if you really know what you're doing, and even then it's a pain in the ass.

[...] >Should I follow a guide to complete all the quest or is it fine to leave some unsolved if I don't find them on time??
Just in the beginning, just before doing the hydra oxcart quest, make sure you find Quina, that one you do not want to miss out on.
I wouldn't recommend a guide... >What's the most fun class to play as?
For me? The most fun vocation is Assassin, it's the most versatile imo and has very cool skills.

Only if you really know what you're doing, and even then it's a pain in the ass.
>What's the most fun class to play as?
For me, it's the fighter. Cool combat skills plus you get to do parries with the shield.
Assassin. Although, recently, I tried out a mage and it's really funny obliterating cyclopi with lightning.
Will keep those three in mind, thanks. I love playing Greatswords in games but this game's hard mode ruined it for me and if I'm going to give the game a fifth try might as well just play another class, faster and more fun. I got enough "Charge slash" already.

Alright, I think I decided to give the game another try as a Sorcerer to unleash armageddon on everything, seems like a fun class.
Redownloading it on Switch because I feel I'll be more willing to finish it there than on PC when I'm doing more work.
>people talking about burnout >when I'm on my second playthrough in the last 6 months
I'm a bit burnt out on DD, but I couldn't possibly be more excited for DD2. The burnout isn't from the style of gameplay, it's from the fact that I've done and seen everything within the game multiple times.
Very high, I'm assuming some a lot of nerds will try everything they can to extract shit from the demo, shit we're not supposed to know before release.
I'll start again now.
The first time I played (only yhe first 5 hours), I created pawns that were the opposite of me. Should I breed pawns of the same category as me in the next playthought? Some anons recommended it, but I'm still confused because in the tutorial itself it is implied that you need to have a pawn that complements your skills instead of a guy like you.
Pawns will learn to do certain things if you're the same vocation as them (i.e. spam lightning at cyclops), but otherwise, it's how you interact with them that'll really teach them. If you spam 'go' at them, they will stick closer to monsters, even if they're mages.
Worst game Ganker ever tricked me into playing
you have no taste
fpbp. typical japanese soulless trash. asians should stick to making troonime for incels
this lmao
I just don't get why morons love this so much, it's a bad rpg and a bad monhun
fbpb
This anon speaks the truth.
What is up with the terrible comat? How can you enjoy that shit?
DD would have been soo much better as a turn-based party JRPG
DD would have been good if it actually had an interesting story, setting and characters.
fpbp
controlled worse than dark souls and MHFU, and I thought those games were clunky
Do you remember dmc2? Dark souls2?
DD will start with 3 and becomes goat at
the notDDbutDD
I was also tricked
bought it and made it to dlc because it was supposed to get better, give me back my 20 hours
yeah

With sheep like these, why bother defending against wolves?
fpbp
Agreed, I'll probably still try DD2 though but I probably will drop that too since the combat looks around the same
certamente primaramente y bazzamente posto. BRAVO, ANONIO!
This.
The combat is trash and boring.
This i prefer dodge rolling 100 times and attacking once.
Yah, a offline MMO that doesn't get good until the DLC and becomes a cool dungeon crawler.
smol brain, probably smol peepee too
Yep
shhhhh shut up moron, you know we're supposed to make the newbies waste dozens of hours on this garbage until they mindfrick themselves into thinking this bland, run-of-the-mill RPG is actually good

DD2 will probably be a better game but it honestly looks like more of the same which has me a little worried.
kys discorder trying to pit both fanbases against each other.
Right? People suddenly started shilling this game but its so bad, I am not wasting 100 hours in hopes it "gets good" like some people say
ok
keep malding shill, I am refunding

Good.
is this the greatest shitpost bait ever? this is like the 'game too easy/hard' bait on steroids
It's not a shitpost though, this game is to Ganker what Witcher 3 is to R*ddit. Millions were conned into playing this mediocre game
You got filtered, son.
that was a great day
Yes, yes it was.
is anyone working on a "there will only be 9 vocations!" variant of that? There's been more than enough of those kind of doomster posts to fill that image 3X over.
no, but last thread someone made this
>DD1.2
that's exactly what i want, thoughever
that's the joke
so they're just moronic?
yes
It was was. I physically jumped out of seat when Itsuno finally said the thing at the end of the special. Within moments Ganker erupted like I have never quite seen it do before.
heheh, your bait doesn't compare

What a nice lad
So true!, Fellow Nintoilet!
Huge truth brother. I went and played MW3 after uninstalling DD.
Epic screencap when?
playing a shit game once is enough for me OP
this but was my brother tricking me into playing it
that would be danganronpa for me. frick you you tasteless homosexuals.
What console should I play on? Never played before, but I want to play the second one when it releases soon.
PS5 will have the most players.
I mean which console should I play the first Dragon's Dogma on?
Steam was $4, PS5 was $40. It was fricking criminal.
>PS5 was $40
nice try pckèkerino, it's constantly $2.99-3.50 on sale like 5-10 times per year since forever
also ignoring the benefit on console which is used games, go to a store that accepts trade ins or buys and sells games and you can get most ps4/3 games for like $5 all year round.
Only games that are old as shit and actually produced and on cd.
Maybe but it wasn’t this winter sale. $40 in Canada.
don't think so, it's $6 right now on the ps canadian store
Sorry. dragon age inquisition was 40 on the PS5, 4 on steam.
Switch. It often goes on sale for five bucks.
>pop up grass, monsters, and NPCs, they literally appear from nowhere
>bad blurry textures
>input delay of the ass
Switch is the worst platform for this game.
none, it's locked 30fps
PC so you can mod into free back in
Are you a bot or are you moronic?
>t. Seething friendless uneducated loser who is both broke and has never had sex.
PC, all console versions are locked to 30 FPS, yes, even PS4 and Xbone.
You mean 30 fps locked on PC and 60 fps on console. Welcome to modern gaming.
No, I did not mean that because I'm not a fricking idiot.
>What console should I play on?
Steam Deck
this
>denuvo
>enigma DRM
i'll just get it on ps4 instead
*ps5
I meant
found the snoy cuck
I have an xbox too, dumbfrick
this
If you have the choice of anything then PC, but any console will run is fine.
What game is this?
Xanadu Next
Everytime i start playing it i get bored and drop it
i'll burn out on the gameplay if i play it again now. i need constant variety. i can only usually play one kind of game for like a week at most before i start getting the itch to play something else. if i play dd1 now, i 100% won't feel like playing 2 on release. i'll wait instead
this
im fricking craving some dogma but waiting for 2 is wiser
Me too. Craving some dogma!
I can’t figure out if GoW 23 was bad or I did exactly this.
Fried brains ruined gaming*
*and anything else, really.
>just you left, is it?
>yeah, just me
>[ cassardis venom starts playing ]
Gonna play it on handheld at work.
Dragons dogma is boring unless you are fighting large enemies
nope, doing the overhead swipe to take a harpy out of the air never gets old. and throwing dudes around
the only time "dragon's dogma" and "boring" are allowed in the same sentence is when a secondary wants to express his opinion
Monster Hunter is an endless hamster wheel mmorpg tier farming for drops. Almost in the level of pathological haha a addiction
It has good combat and keeps you nearly always in the action rather than making you walk into a bland pointless open world, which is more that can be said for Dragon's Dogma
More like dogshit denovoma
rage while I have fun with a videogame
discordgang btfo'd eternally
But I am not angry at you for having fun with the game. I'm saying that it's the worst Ganker recommendation I ever decided to listen to
Anon..I didn't reply to that post.
Something you want to tell the class?
tried and got bored, I think there is a reason no one really cared about it compared to souls and monhun
I hate this boring, empty, repetitive, contentless game with a burning passion.
>tekken out comes out
>spam that shit until tomb raider remasters come out
>play those until dragon's dogma 2 comes out
uuuuuuuuuuuuuff there's so much good stuff
I need the frickin Elden Rang dlc to come out in Feb. That would be perfect for a month til DD2.
No there isn't. There was no good games last year and there's going to be none this year.
You sound like a fricking Black person to be around
Name 6 good games from last year
>using the wiki makes the game twice as fun
casting high bollide on stuff doesn't get old. I love games where you can be a shredding wizard.
>burning yourself out before Dragon Dogma 2
moron.
not gonna happen Black person
russian basement malware
Do the devs know about this meme? Do you think it'll be referenced in DD2? Or is this a Ganker only in joke?
I tried playing this game twice and got bored by the time I got to the city both times. I love DMC/HFTF but I hate Skyrim. I just don't think the game's for me. Why is there so much hitstop on everything it doesn't even feel good it just feels choppy
I think replaying the first one so close to release of the 2nd will burn you out but you do you
Furious Fernando said the game wasn't good so I didn't play it
He said there was a lot of backtracking slow traversal and it sounds exactly like what I don't enjoy
Sounds pretty right. Boring and soulless
>Last time I played DD was in 2022
>Open up DD again
>A dozen or so people rented my pawn
>4 million RC received
we are so back bros
Pawn isn't available when rented, is it?
I already finished a run two days ago. I'm spent anon, I don't want to get burnt out before 2 comes.
as someone who has 100%'d this game four times across four different consoles I don't think replaying before release is a good idea. Seems like a way to get burnt out before the game even starts.
not to mention the gorillion daimon runs just trying to get BIS, no thanks ask me again 7 years ago.
You can lose to those bandits?
I had no difficulty going through there and all I really did beforehand was fight the Hydra, might be hard if you ignored everything the game told you and went right there at level 1 or did your first playthrough on Hard mode or something
Aren't you suppose to go to that area before Gran Soren though for the village girl who's the obvious designated waifu? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought if you didn't do it then you couldn't do her quest.
Dragons dogma is one of the best games I've ever played
Biggest issue is you have to pause and use menu to heal/turn on lamp etc. Is this changed in 2?
think so, yes
I mean, there's still pause healing but I think there are hotkeys too
I don't like the button mashing combat
What do you guys think the odds of the OG cast returning are? They got Grigori back with his original voice actor, and we got Gransys returning faithfully. I hope we get to see Julien again.
I'd rather have a new cast of characters
I wouldn't mind seeing rook again, or even quina.
>I don't think it takes place in Gransys.
Bluemoon tower is visible in the trailer
it is a different reality yeah
>Does the cycle of endless return even apply to DDO?
it does but the dragon was actively fricking with it
So if the Dragon itself can somehow stop itself from seeking out new Arisen to eventually challenge the Seneschal, the Seneschal can't do shit? I'm guessing all the other dragons are from before the good Dragon came along or are from different realities being called in to reinforce the cycle or something? Now that I think about it, what happens if one reality somehow ends up losing all of its Dragons? There'd be no one left to challenge people to see if they're up for the task of challenging the Seneschal.
It's a parallel universe. Grigori is back because each universe/cycle has its own dragon.
Parallel universe, the bluemoon tower was supposed to be a connecting point between worlds, the endless tower.
Some of the old pawns perhaps, but i'm fine with each DD being its own world.
At this point I'm just waiting to see if DD2 has that shitty new anti-modding DRM slapped onto it. It's the only thing that would stop me from buying.
dont install it on steam unless you want russian malware on your PC
capcom is adding russian malware called "enigma" to all their old games
pirate the gog version even if you already own it on steam
Dragons dogma is literally 5 bucks on psn right now
Has Enigma hit it yet?
nope
And risk burning out? No thank you. Gonna go in feeling fresh. MonHun is scratching the itch for the moment.
>summer of 2022
>DD2 gets a fricking official announcement
>Bastard!! anime gets released
>mfw I spent that summer getting my ass raped by summer physics courses and trying to balance a replay of DD1 and watching Bastard!! all at the same time
>HUGE surge of DD1 players for the better half of a month
God, for all the horseshit I've put up with in these past few years, once in a while Mr. Jesus sends me a nice bit of nostalgic good-times.
i never played it
i'll just wait for 2nd to come out
might as well, Anon-kun, the first game is the definition of jank
shame 2 looks so demanding performance wise compared to the original and games like elden ring, I won't play it
I've never played it. Should I use a controller or mnk?
I beat the game with both, they're both fine
The game could absolutely feel like a boring slog if you play through the ppointless side content. Would've been brutal without the eternal ferrystone
If I buy the game can I still have it with the original opening it had on release? Or do I just need to not buy the DLC?
You can just replace the file.
Finally 2 games in a row with no Black folk.
I fricking love Japan.
Anything like that?
> Save slots
https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/40
it's brain dead easy, bad build turns enemies into damage sponges but that's it. enemy variety, items and builds everything in this game is mediocre, the story and characters are just corny
look up a guide when to do side quests because you get locked out of them all at certain points in the story
Other than that, just do your own thing and wolves hunt in packs etc. etc.
>Spoiled children are sore losers.
what
he talking about how you shouldn't beat Symone's race in her quest or you won't get the golden idol
oh, right. why does she have such a dumptruck for a butt?
genetics and a life of indulgence
well, the good thing is i can make her slim down a bit as her stepfather. the bad thing is she has now two fat ugly bastards as parents
Who is her mother?
>- Blonde big titty merchant is the best person to give a certain quest item too, not the blacksmith.
Shit, is there another one?
the blacksmith and the israeliteess
No, I mean, is there another idol? I gave the silver one to the blacksmith.
I haven’t been following this. Did they remove the weight limit and running stamina? I’m not playing if it still has those
It still has those.
Any info on when new info copmes out? So far there was some ign guy on twitter always saying the time when something comes.
I think it's one or two videos a week
Wonder if this will be playable Day 1 on Linux, been going through the RE games and they're perfect. I don't want to have to boot into my bindows partition
Is there a fix for ultrawide on PC yet?

You can thank me later.
Nah, I don't want to get burned out before DD2.
I have been replaying, and I fricking love this game.
...at least change the script a little bit, you morons.
Yes. Soulslop is shit and has no place being discussed among genteel men of nobility and style.
have these people ever explained why they are so passionate about controlling the narratives on certain games? Like what is the purpose?
they are chasing the high of TORtanic, and failing miserably.
Ask yourself which games don't get Shazamed.
ah yes, here comes the consolewarring.
but this game is muiltiplat? Are you saying nintendors do this? Thans not a console war thing it literally wouldn't work on there... and even if it was just to not be released on there thats still no explanation for this level of commitment. 99% of these morons have to be first world posters if they really wanted to they could surely afford another console with their switch. A switch is cheap as frick it's not like you are locked into only that for a whole console gen.
>99% of these morons have to be first world posters if they really wanted to they could surely afford another console with their switch
Ask now what demographic has the free time to put into constant thread raids and is unable to buy consoles/PCs for themselves.
Discord users
Why the hell do these idiots care about DD2?
They don't. They just care about shitting up threads and getting (You)s.
they are attention prostitutes
holy shit imagine if we could put these people to real work, what a waste. I still don't understand tho I guess I just never will. Even in my peak console pride phase as an edgy teen that couldn't afford multiple consoles and so was just stuck with an xbox I got for Christmas I would just say something like "xbox is cool wii is for gays" and move on.
Yep, the older I get the more I cringe at consolewar homosexualry. I used to be an xbro too, now I only get the controllers.
Tendies always raid non nintendo exclusive games before going out, check out granblue threads too
Some mods get literally paid for advertising nintendo games and get rid of the competition
when I picture people being paid to shill video games I would imagine hoards of pajeets upvoting facebook posts and tiktoks to boost the algo, not a first worlder coombaiting on Ganker. How would an individual even get that job? Surely it would have to be some kind of organisation and not just some dude.
just installed it, what are some good mods to use?
>Remove vignette
>Don't blind me
>Change character appearance at any time
Only ones I'd considers essential. MK alternative stat growth is also good if you want to try that class.
I already replayed it like 3 times last year, i'll wait for now.
Everything about that fight and the dungeon and the area it's in look so cool. I can't fricking wait to explore the world.
some new webums
>No areola with nipple
No buy from me
modded in on day 1
coop always boosts the sale of a game out the ass, this game is already party based. Why wouldn't they take that free marketing win and add some online to it? They already have it working with the DD 1 engine with DD online. I'm not saying online would make it a better game just that it would boost sales for sure.
Because Itsuno made they game for me, not you.
but you could play it the same way? Souls games have online but are still most often played entirely offline, the option is there tho.
because it just isn't a multiplayer game.
right on cue, got any new material yet homosexual?
>because it just isn't a multiplayer game
HAHAHAHAHAHA sure nintendie
>Got any new material yet homosexual?
Everytime you call tendies out the doomposting stops for a while, because you morons are too busy trying to deny it
going to have a mental break again?
>acting this unhinged
Jesus, are you breaking already?
Nobody has even bullied you too hard yet.
Itsuno is putting 100% of resources into things that I personally want. He told me this in a dream.
ah fair enough then
Because it was made for (i) only. There is 1 copy of the game and (i) already bought it
Why is there an insistence on multiplayer with this? Why would you basically want a new IP for the sequel if you liked the first game. Even with DDO they changed so much to accomodate multiplayer it felt more like a flashy MMO than DD.
>Why is there an insistence on multiplayer with this?
there isn't
Mostly people who've only ever watched the game and haven't played it.
The game would be much too easy if instead of a mentally moronic single digit IQ pawn who doesn't even attack the mimic that's eating you you had a real person on your side.
kek, ddbabs are so dramatic, just get a friend bummo
rage while I have fun with a videogame
Already finished up two playthroughs in anticipation, now I'm just waiting on DD2.
What's the current situation on creating smol characters?
shortest we've seen so far is 150 cm, might be lower but until we get a demo we can't come to any conculsions
Isn't height irrelevant
stamina und carry weight are tied to height, and shorter characters get brined easier when fording rivers.
To weight?
>get brined easier when fording rivers
Kek'd.
Like in real life.
I agree that it has a great character generator, but it's still very basic and the damage formula is atrocious. I do expect Dd2 to be way better.
Can I run from where the game starts to bbi to buy a archistaff? How hard is it to avoid enemies? 100h for a complete run enough?
you can drown in shallow waters if you're a manlet
> Not creating a tall ass brown amazon that can crush your head between her thighs.
How far this place has fallen.
What am I watching?
ah shit i was gonna post the other webm with the small character.
Thats just the goblins laughing at the arisen
Post it please
the goblin laughing
this character is the archer arisen from the demo, the played changed the vocation and all, but in another video i saw smaller pawns than her.

remember to get the no carry weight and infinite stamina mods, unplayable game without them
Both seem redundant with the new cart and camps.
Mods shouldn't have to fix core problems with the unfun mechanics of the game, no idea what is wrong with Japanese developers.
I don't like cheats.
have a nice day
If they fix the garbage stamina system and the quests that just makes you run the half of the map I'll get it. The combat in the original isn't really good but it's serviceable and I want to see what they will do to the story

>incel combat
What does that even mean? Combat designed to not get you laid? Wouldn't that be most video games then?
Combat designed for incels? Isn't that just porn games?
Combat that evokes the feeling of being an incel? NTR Games?
What does it mean anon, come back from discord and tell me.
at least escort missions are going to be significantly easier
I'll start on it in like a week. Any tips for a first-timer?
wolves hunt in packs
You need to figure out where all roads lead, what creatures ill like fire, and to stay away from pic related until you know what you're doing or go there at night
This part is what filtered me, what should I do about it?
If anything in DD is kicking your ass, the solution is to get better gear.
level up, get better gear, play more smartly
the best part is that he isn't even the one that filters people.
Heh, yeah that's true. he just slides his way into the fray from behind that fricking rock.

Hire OP pawns and sleepwalk through the game.
You can go straight through the Witchwood, despite what these other replies imply, by just hiring some BBI gear level 5 pawn with 700 atk/def that shits on everything for you. Best part is that you can have TWO of these guys.
DD is a baby game made for babies who want to PLAY AS the escort target in other games.
anon...that costs rift crystals
No they don’t. Pawns that are at or below your level cost 0. There are a bunch of BBIgod pawns that are very low level (below 10) so you should be able to get them pretty much as soon as you get to the encampment. From that point on you just swap them out for higher level BBI pawns as you level up.
The game is a bit harder if you only go with you and your main pawn by virtue of you being down two people, but I’m pretty sure that you and your pawn get a +25% exp boost for each missing other pawn so you get that to even things out.
Is it more difficult if one goes duo only?
no, you just get more experience
DE facto outleveling content soon. Lel.
sell the dlc equipment (or at least the monocle) for a quick buck in the beginning. experiment and have fun anon. also keep eye on portcrystals and setup them in a way which suits your fast travel needs best
I've played 1 for hundreds of hours, now it's time to wait patiently to have the freshest experience possible. Also I don't want to spend another minute in Black personblack isles, the chest farming nearly killed me. Several times.
Perfect time to go back to the Everfall and have a nice day farming for a pair of Dragonsbloods for your fave pawn. Yes.
Not today, Satan.. not today.
>the chest farming nearly killed me. Several times.
Yeah, I could do without the RNG shit. I got the full hellfire set, but I couldn't bring myself to roll getting the really OP modifier for the helmet.
This. I actually do want to play 1 again, but I want 2 to be super fresh so I'm holding off.
>leapworms
Wait...does that mean the big boys are coming back?
I'm assuming most, if not all, enemies from the first one are back.
>I'm assuming most, if not all, enemies from the first one are back.
music to my ears
I like that everyone has their own version of mounted attacks now.
and that you can stand on enemies, might be useful to climb even for a mage or archer.
Wolves singlehandedly make playing as a fat bastards worth it. Fricking hate getting dragged off, especially since pawns aren't any help.
Yes, you could, but you were also more difficult to grab.
I'd be very surprised if they didn't. And they will be on steroids going by the rest of the ensemble. The real question is whether or not Arthacos will make another appearance. I love that big Black person like you wouldn't believe.

WHITE,MALE,BEARDED WARRIOR
LESSS GOOOO
so far the red vocations look more fun than the others, to me at least.
did anyone mention the crate mimic/metal gear solid goblin in the back?
I assumed he was carrying a box to throw at you.
I want to milk that cat
What personality are you giving your pawn? I hope it influences more than it did in the first game, I made my pawn tease me a log.
I'm thinking about it. Never did get a warrior far enough to defeat Daimon, let alone get the endgame bitterblack stuff.
H-he filtered thousands...all those poor anons...
trickster seems cool despite being a support and illusion spells class

It looks like its useless against bosses where theres no stage hazards

still excited
Why would I burn myself out when the next game is just around the corner? Replaying DD now would just make me get bored of DD2.
Nero bros
nice recovery move.
Nah, I'm good. I replayed it back when the first real trailer came out, I don't need to replay it again.
I prefer to casually replay BBI with the randomizer mod to avoid getting burnt out.
I've stopped playing after completing BBI once. How's NG+? is it worth a run or am I going to be way overpowered and OS everything?
Nobody tell him.
come on you fricking morons, I've read that difficulty doesn't change unless you manually set it up to hard, and that the final boss has a different skin, what gives?
>How's NG+?
Pitiful Arisen
2 looks shit though. I can already tell there won't be any coomer clothes like the leather chest guard that was just a leather bra for women. None of the characters they've shown who are clearly romances look attractive. I'd rather Itsuno let it stay dead then this.
But can I give them big or small breasts? This is important.
yes
Have breastfeeding mechanics been confirmed yet?
sadly not, stay strong bros.
Didn't Itsuno say the game will have "more than you expect"?
Breastfeeding and paizuri mechanics confirmed.
shit you're right
yes
>Won't be able to have your pawn dressed up in those clothes because illusionist is player only
Unlikely, since the clothes are from the first game which didn't have any illusionist vocation or an equivalent.
Armour is not class specific in DD anon.
NTA, but most of it is. Or at least vocation color specific.
Still will most likely be available for pawns because
It is? mages can't wear heavy armor.
I mean "only fighter can equip this" and "only mage can equip this" armours, thats extremely rare in DD to the point where I think ther is only like 3 items in the game that do it.
You must be misremembering things. There are some basic clothing items that can be worn by any vocation, but mages cannot wear actual armor, nor can fighters wear magical robes.
Yeah, that might be true. Bought it recently, didn't play it, yet. It does seem according to wiki that mages can only wear robes and warriors are the only ones that can wear very heavy armor.
Are the advanced classes generally better than the basic ones?
Theyre just different playstyles basically, you forgo some abilities with the advanced classes that you might like with the basic ones.
What happens is that th
See here
Those are pawns wearing the outfit, people are focusing on the one with the mommy milkers, but on the left that is a black cat wearing something similar, so there is at least 2 confirmed coomer outfits.
based on seeing a mage in knight armor in the DD2 footage, armor doesn't appear to be as restricted to cvocations as it was before.
that's nice
>I can already tell there won't be any coomer cloth-ACK
Most armor/clothing we've seen is stuff from DD1 recreated 1:1, pretty sure the longerie has already been spotter under a female character's cloak early on.
moron
>there won't be any coomer clothes
Nobody tell him
>village girl who's the obvious designated waifu
>he doesn't know
Yeas, and if you have trouble with the brigands up the hill you can just come back at night and deal with a frickton of wolves instead.
Even if this were true, the fact that anyone cares more about cooming than the actual gameplay is disgusting.
Why is the movement so slow, it feels like theres a considerable delay with each animation.
there is no movement from the player in that clip, he's out of stamina and staggered.

What new shit is in 2 though besides the new vocations? Is there more interaction with NPCs at all?
>no Mason

instead of CIA Mason, we instead get Royal Knight not-Mason.

The male equivalents are I believe that one moron form your fishing village that keeps collapsing in dangerous areas, fournival, julien, and feste.
>frickboy, fat bastard, gay dickhead and a midget
Amazing.
There was two, Julien and Valmiro. I consider any who have unique dialogue for the arisens bond to be the main love interests and I'm pretty sure they both have that, but the vast majority were women.
2 honestly looks the same, on the character page for the game they have 3 guys in the 9 characters shown (although one looks like the evil Queen so I doubt she's an option, or her good boy son who looks kind of underage so depends with him)
I NEED to romance the queen.
Imagine if you could romance the duke, your beloved is literally some decaying shrivelled old husk who wants you dead.
I'm holding out hope there's a bleeting shegoat tier love interest they just chose not to reveal yet.
I can't say I'm very interested in the ones we've seen.
He won.
I need the version with sound.
All me btw
Schizo Arisen
Wait... HOW?!?
it's quite simple
do you actually break the loop in the ending anons?
Man. Nothing I give a shit about until persona 3 reload, this, ff7 rebirth.
I've at least got Yakuza. Now too pushed about getting Reload that quick since it's just a remake of a game I've played.
Yes I'll probably pick Yakuza up too. I never played p3 so this works out. Long ass game I imagine tho.
I will wait for p3 since I suspect they will announce a rereload version
>no MA pawns
why even live
I do find it odd it's player only, I don't see how it's any different to regular archers, it just had a lock on feature.
If there's one thing we seriously need is multiple save files.
Hey Gankerros ,Does DD2 have a collector edition? And does it have multiplayer,I'm thinking buying digital cuz I can play with my friends.
>does it have multiplayer
no
*blocks your path*
When was the last time an AAA game featured big breasts?
Any other good native isekai games like DD?
I hope Helldivers 2 is good, I want it to hold me over till DD2 as I dont want to replay DD and burn myself out on it.
>was hoping there'd be a DD2 mod to allow camping anywhere instead of Itsuno's moronic fixed locations only
>anti-modding DRM will probably stop that
Lame. Enigma might not stop visual asset swap mods, but I'd assume it absolutely WOULD stop this kind of mod as it would require code modification.
That sucks yeah, at least there is no confirmation that DD2 will even have Enigma, just Denuvo.
It will
Right now I'm leaning towards just saying frick it and get DD2 on PS5 instead of PC as long as a performance mode gets confirmed.
They're only hurting paying customers, they're not gonna stop determined people.
tale as old as time
>They're only hurting paying customers, they're not gonna stop determined people.
Beat the dragon and looks like I got best girl..?
That's not Fournival
>started replaying recently
>forget you can get locked out of quests
>miss Quina's quest
>immediately afterwards fail Mercedes' escort quest
>don't have any saves before reaching Grand Soren
>no longer want to play and don't want to remake my character and start over because i like how they look
just swap to hard mode and then back.
just roll with it.
Haven't played DD, what's up with that place? I see it being brought up often
I wouldn't worry about it.
A bandit ambush near-ish to the starting area. Early quests point you in that direction, however the bandits there are much higher level enemies than you are by then.
i have replayed this game 4 times, i just want my DD2
A shame DD2 won't have transmog just like the first one. Would loved to run around as Leo or Tessa.
>Tfw 3060 non ti
Should I get a 4070 for DD2? It might be overkill for 1080p but judging by the PS5 footage the 3060 might not handle it well
For 1080p a 3060 should be fine. I'm getting a 4070S for this game, but I'm still on a 1060 6GB.
3060 should be fine for 1080p.
The PS5 footage is running at 4k(i)/30fps/RT on
once they add enigma to it for the 15fps tax and stutter you better believe you are gonna need a better card than that.
rage while I have fun with a videogame
? I'm going to enjoy it just fine without the DRM when I pirate it, why would I be mad I got like 400 hours out of DD:DA.
Good for you if you can wait 2 years for them to remove Denuvo, I know I won't be able to, I've waited for far too long.
>*pawn gets hit by a boulder*
>"tis a troublesome foe"
to be fair to them, the world really is out to get you.
would upgrading from a 3070 to a 4070 be worth it? I mean to play DD2 at 2K at least.
Worth it in general? No, worth for that specific case? Maybe, you might need that 12 gb of VRAM for 1440p.
You should wait either way for the Super version of that card.
What are the system requirements? I have a 3070
post cpu, I think you are fine gpu wise
I have an i7.
If it's at least 11th gen you'll be fine.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2054970/Dragons_Dogma_2/ and scroll down to "SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS" near the bottom of the page.
So there's just beastmen and elves? No dwarves or other races?
there was monkeys in the trailer
The damage formula absolutely ruined the game for me. There were some good parts but it wasn't very fun to actually play. Is the second game doing anything to change up the formula, or will they stick with it for some ungodly reason?
sticking with
Sounds like an easy skip.
What's so good about it? You either end up doing no damage because you're below the threshold or you breeze through combat encounters because you can actually do damage. You could also stack buffs to handle enemies you shouldn't or even 1 shot bosses. The system was a complete mess, eliciting no fun from the player. I will say that those early enemy encounters where you can't handle the enemies were definitely memorable, but again, didn't contribute to a great gameplay experience.
what's so bad about it? seemed pretty straight forward to me
You VILL marry the cat girl.
The frick is the Lambent Flame
a glowing flame that the cats dance in fornt of
Do they dance naked though
i don't think the game's gonna have a cat shaving mechanic
no, but the priestess pussy wears silk robes
The Trickster vocation is from Battahl, so they dance while wearing belly-dancer outfits.
>No more vocations
>Split strider into two separate classes to pad it out
It's over...
He killed millions
>look at the new gameplay from last week
>Warrior Arisen jumps off and lands a massive hit on trolls face
>Standing on it smacking the shit out of it
>Troll uppercuts and sends him flying, followed by a dropkick onto him
Yep, I'm thinking we're back warrior bros.
>Should I follow a guide to complete all the quest or is it fine to leave some unsolved if I don't find them on time??
Just in the beginning, just before doing the hydra oxcart quest, make sure you find Quina, that one you do not want to miss out on.
I wouldn't recommend a guide...
>What's the most fun class to play as?
For me? The most fun vocation is Assassin, it's the most versatile imo and has very cool skills.
Only if you really know what you're doing, and even then it's a pain in the ass.
Ng+ warrior hard mode yay or nay
Also, in all of my four tries playing the game I always went full Guts roleplay.
What's the most fun class to play as?
warrior, followed by mystic knoight
Will keep those three in mind, thanks. I love playing Greatswords in games but this game's hard mode ruined it for me and if I'm going to give the game a fifth try might as well just play another class, faster and more fun. I got enough "Charge slash" already.
Alright, I think I decided to give the game another try as a Sorcerer to unleash armageddon on everything, seems like a fun class.
Redownloading it on Switch because I feel I'll be more willing to finish it there than on PC when I'm doing more work.
>What's the most fun class to play as?
For me, it's the fighter. Cool combat skills plus you get to do parries with the shield.
Assassin. Although, recently, I tried out a mage and it's really funny obliterating cyclopi with lightning.
Are you man enough to solve the riddle?
the answer is _______

>nothing
makes sense to me.
There is no greater treasure than knowledge, so I return empty handed, but having gained new knowledge to defeating the creatures within.
I am going to make a tall dark skinned buff warrior woman pawn

I am going to make a short white skinned weak mage e-girl pawn
I respect your choice anon.
>people talking about burnout
>when I'm on my second playthrough in the last 6 months
I'm a bit burnt out on DD, but I couldn't possibly be more excited for DD2. The burnout isn't from the style of gameplay, it's from the fact that I've done and seen everything within the game multiple times.
I'll play dd2 in 10 years when it's -95% and can afford a good graphics card
he's still samegayging
68 days left.
Stay alive my homies.
38 days left for the demo btw.
hope so
I'd upgrade of I were you
Odds of datamining?
Very high, I'm assuming some a lot of nerds will try everything they can to extract shit from the demo, shit we're not supposed to know before release.
bros, is my 1660 Super enough for DD2 or should I upgrade to 3060?
Should do fine at 1080p low-medium at about 60 FPS, if your CPU is decent.
1070 is listed as minimum
Not enough VRAM, maybe have problems/stutters/crashes if you don't set Textures to low.
No way, even at 1080p. Look at the particle effects and the textures in that sphinx dungeon. What's your CPU? That's important as well.
i5 9600KF
probably too late for you to reply but thanks for caring
A 10 series is barely enough for 30fps, and the 10th gen intels were a big jump. You're in trouble.
oh no, time to break my piggy bank I guess
thanks anons
If you want an Intel that's good for gaming, isn't stupid expensive and won't make you upgrade your PSU, the 13600k is great.
seems affordable, I'll take note of it, thanks
Friends don't let friends buy CPUs with E-cores.
A 7600/x would be a better idea.
>i5 9600KF
Below minimum specs, maybe you can hit 1080p at low to medium settings if you don't mind a 30 FPS lock, otherwise expect a lot of stutters.
>should I upgrade
Maybe
>to 3060
No
I'll start again now.
If you spam 'go' at them, they will stick closer to monsters, even if they're mages.
>i7 9700k
I'm fricked bros
>i7 9700k
You've got 8 cores, you MIGHT be fine for 30 FPS.
The demo will tell.
