Changing to original graphics definitely reverts to original music at least on PC. Bit of a shame there's no new graphics + original soundtrack option in vanilla but I'm sure mods exist for it.
Also the new soundtrack stuff is fine. Follow in Flight and Breaking the Covenant are excellent, it's not a phoned in literal who soundtrack or anything.
I don't like the changes they did to some of the weapons personally I just end up switching back to the original version, I do like watching the cutscenes in anniversary though
Play with the 1:1 scrap/credit mod to save yourself some time
