ORAS are objectively superior to emerald in every way.
The battle frontier sucked and the replacements in ORAS are better.

I tried it yesterday and gave up after 20 minutes. Everything is slow as molasses. I'd rather play emerald on a fricking phone, that shit even ran at 60fps back in the day. The remake is an embarrassment.

If you were 10 when this came out, you're barely a millennial.

It came out in the US in 2005. A 10 year old would have been born in 1995, which is like the absolute youngest millennial possible. 90% of millennials had outgrown Pokemon by then.

The target audience of Pokemon is children, not teens and adults.

Nah. Milennials played red or blue, yellow, stadium, gold/silver, MAYBE crystal, MAYBE ruby/sapphire, then they were done. I still followed pokemon showdown and stuff like that though and played some of the switch games and pokemon mmos.

Let me guess: you identify as a "zillenial" and have built a wee bit of a personality gimmick out of enjoying this particular game which released when zoomers would be like 4 at most?
        have a nice day.

Are you dumb? I'm in my 30s bro, I am a millennial. I was obsessed with pokemon as a kid. People saying stuff like gen 3 or gen 5 were actually good dont know what theyre talking about. They have no idea how good going from gen 1 to 2 was. We actually could trade evolve all our shit, alakazam and gengar were things you could get through normal play because there was always people to trade evolve. It was literally the best time to be alive.

Going from red/blue to gold/silver was fcking mindblowing. Gen 3 fricked it all up, we actually lost features, had shitty contests, traded team rocket for some shit stain organisations, got worse pokemon designs, most of them werent even in the game, couldnt transfer your pokemon from red/blue to gen 3... it was all fricking shit. The anime went to shit also sometime after the first couple seasons. It just became garbage.

            >They have no idea how good going from gen 1 to 2 was
Literally the most wild thing as a kid was when there were 150 Pokemon, and then all the sudden there's rumors of there being new ones sometime soon. Were they going to be in a new game? The next movie? What were they going to be? What was the implication of Blue Pikachu being added to the world? As a kid, this shit was nuts.

And then today it's like "Oh ok Pokemon 87 just came out and they added another 10,000 pokemon to the roster so now there's 4,720,842 Pokemon you can catch."

This is basically it. It was the craziest time ever to be a kid, it was so fricking fun.

I played Pokemon Red in 4th grade. Traded MissingNos and everything.

I think I played Pokemon Yellow, but that was just the same game but on a Gameboy Color.

I never played any Pokemon games after that except Pokemon Snap on N64.

Neurotypicals (normal, well adjusted people) don't play Pokémon. Autists and children (subhumans/underdeveloped) do.

    You can't refute this. Ever.

Ruby was okay compared to Gens 1 & 2
Beat Leaf Green and then stopped playing for years until trying Omega Ruby
And then quit again until playing Clover
