>only fricking 10 missions
Every faction has 6, plus another 6 for FA.
I played the Cybran campaign last week and just in it: >move to secure a town before the UEF trashes it >take out artillery before they destroy a research center >escort trucks back to your base while a wave of aircraft come to frick them up >quickly intercept an attacking force about to trash a relay you need to capture (you literally have less than two minutes after the map expands) >destroy a czar experimental before it destroys the uplink you need to capture
That's in 3/6 missions of a single campaign.
FA is an expansion pack for supreme commander, dipshit. It's the same game. There's literally no distinction between the two either if you play FAF like literally everybody else still playing SupCom.

And now the flaming begins
See, this is the problem, if you played either of them, you'd know literally nobody tells you to play the base game as it's unbalanced and shit
But I have a feeling you're just going to triple down on the trolling now

The UI is different, the balance is different, and most relevant of all, the campaigns are extremely different. The original game's campaign locks down your tech and puts a more severe unit limit than the FA campaign, they're don't play the same at all.
Don't try to rationalize your asshurt over your specious reasoning falling flat as trolling.
Like I said, FAF combines both games and nobody plays the original of either anymore, and certainly nobody talking about SC is only talking about the base game or expansion separately.

>keeps trolling >moves the goalposts even more >well I was talking about the first game even tho FA is what the topic is about >I mean I was talking about the first game combined with the expansion in FAF >haha got 'em, FAF isn't FA
So again you've moved goalposts, are using an argument of the campaigns in the first game being shit despite nobody brought them up but you to argue and troll then you decided to continue this trolling by bringing up FAF
Hint: FA IS FRICKING FINE TO TURTLE IN
YOU CANNOT CHANGE REALITY
THE BASE GAME IS NOT FA
FAF IS NOT FA
FA IS AGAIN FINE TO TURTLE IN
Did all caps help you understand
watch everyone, he's going to troll again

You are obsessed with the idea of being trolled, rather than someone just disagreeing with you.
Are you OP, specifically declaring the thread only being about the expansion's campaign instead of SC as a whole, or are you just
>turtle >win
jeez hard as frick anon
Thank frick my super powered autism lets me do shit like 'click buttons'
throwing out a context-less hot take about an unspecific part of the game?

The game lets you turtle as hard as possible before you finish an objective and the map expands onto the next objective. You can megaturtle and get 10 mavors before the first objective even finishes in a lot of situations. It's not a hard campaign.
so ignoring the rule breaking poster, who else likes to turtle in FA?
I for one enjoy it and have successfully turtled with all 3 factions in the campaign 🙂
between the plethora of turrets, expandable resource infrastructure and shields there is a lot of incentive to turtle.
too bad theres no actual turtle bot.
It's got the whole core and expansion campaign, plus a pile of custom levels. You can play up to 4 player co-op on all of them too. Apparently skirmish has new custom adaptive AIs but I never tried them.
What kind of garbage game doesn't use tactics, strategy and whoever clicks fastest wins? Because it sure isn't Starcraft, so I'd like to know what kusoge that is.
Rhiza is best girl!
You mean Dostya you little shit.
>Dostya is best girl!
was*
For competitive play sure. but against AI or scrubs you can turtle
>turtle
>win

okay so are you done or will you be moving more goalposts?

For singleplayer I guess. I haven't played faf online for a couple years but turtling always loses eventually.

redpill me on forged alliance forever
Does it do much if I just like playing against the computer?
Can I still use the speed cheat

You can play campaigns on co-op now? Jesus Christ I have to try that
Been playing it with a couple friends. Some of those custom missions are total assrape on hard, even with three people working together.
>be euro
>80% of my teammates are russian with shit internet
but can i use cheats in faf campaigns when playing alone is all I care about
Coming from Starcraft and AoE I really can't into Soupcum, why do people enjoy it?
the controls are really nice. something they almost expanded on in starcraft 2 but apmbabs fussed about a skill floor or whatever.
Actual tactics and strategy over long matches instead of who clicks the fastest wins in 10mins
