i'm actually really glad it didn't get a mega, so many pokémon that needed evolutions got them and now guys like banette are probably just fricked forever.

It will either get an evolution or Psyduck will get a split evo that "corrects" Golduck abandoning virtually all of Pysduck's design elements.
Primeape is my favorite Johto Pokémon

No, you're stupid. Primeape was a two-stage pokemon before SV. Scyther still is a two-stage pokemon after PLA, it's just that it has branching evos.

You do know that Primeape's evo doesn't rely on a obscure item like Scythers, but performing a move that he can learn multiple times?
I doubt that a lot. It's not even a requirement to level it up in Paldea. They could scrub rage fist or whatever it is from Primeape's moveset, and I have no reason to believe they won't, but you also have no reason to believe they will

Your definitely still moronic but this is a good point. What the frick was the point of Wyrdeer if stantler couldn't even evolve into it in the next game it was in
realistically it's because SV were in development at the same time as PLA by a different team without much crossover and the changes couldn't be properly implemented into SV in time, but basculegion shows that it's just a matter of time before the non-regional evos it added like kleavor and ursaluna are just considered standard evolutions and are available as such.

What would they even do for a Granbull evo? Honestly don’t know what the logical “next step” for the line would be
they could definitely lean harder into the cu sith connection, make it shaggy and possibly even green, or they could do something totally unexpected. i never thought ursaring looked like it could have an evolution but it ended up happening, anything's possible.
Magcargo will surely rise one day.
This fricker right here is the most deserving of an evolution, no contest. Just look at it. Look at its smug fricking fish face. Fricker doesn't even look like a final stage to me, it's like this close to looking sorta cool but it needs a little more stuff going on on its design. Its evo could make for a cool Water/Fairy type with that light theme it has going on
water/fairy would really work for it, i was surprised when it wasn't retyped back in gen 6. it works so well with its appearance and theming.
There's a ton of 'fish' Pokémon that could really use this kind of treatment, honestly.
Seaking and Lumineon are definitely the worst offenders for 'boring fish with awful stats that nobody ever uses'.
few mons need something as bad as this guy, never once in my life have i heard anyone so much as bring him up in conversation, let alone use him; not even back in gen 1.

There was a time I would have said "um actchually it's supposed to be bad because it's a gimmick" but then Farfetch'd and Dunsparce got an evolution so who knows?
