Can't wait to play amateur ported slop with 'maximization' and 'upgrades' that make it look like total trash! Pumping up the framerate really wont lead to any visual issues with the limited frames the animations have as well! If we're really lucky we can get some AI slop to ramp up the game as well, and some QoL patches and random changes to the dialogue and story courtesy of some troony! That's even better than OP's idea of having people who didn't work on the original games 'bring the series back' under Capcom's current profit expectations and catering to the tastes of 'modern gaymers'!

If they were to bring it back it'd better be a faithful follow up with the RE camera and slower more deliberate combat of the games. It would pretty much just be another Nioh game though if they brought it back today which isn't a bad thing.

i beat that for the first time a few years back, its a really cool game but pretty frustrating at some parts. my overall impression of it was that it had a unique artistic vision. i doubt they could recreate a similar feeling. i really like how experimental some of it felt with the weird camera angles in certain areas showing off the environment.
