The story above all. The combat is hectic if you want to score A+, even more so than devil may cry.
you can also spam items at 0 HP, I never felt... motivated to learn the combat system of XV, weapon swap, or unlock new skills on the combat skill tree.
Frick Tabata for casualizing the shit out of this game
What's shitty about it? You unlock skills and use them at different times for different enemies. You analyze weaknesses and prepare your loadout accordingly.
I realized I was steamrolling enemies in the first 30 minutes so I made it a point to get two A+s in every single fight, and never get downed. Had lots of fun

you have zero reason to unlock them due to the game being so damn easy it makes the Neptuina games feel hard in comparison.
I mean I already played FF7R. I like the combat but I have a feeling it's the only non-turn-based FF combat I'd like without going into Kingdom Hearts which I don't want to do.
have you considered Type 0?

The reason to unlock them is to have fun and get high scores.

I challenged myself, I adapted, and I had lots of fun. You expected a game to cater to you and was disappointed. The correct approach is obvious.
If you play games just to see the credits scene, you're shallow.

expecting something to be GOOD is not "to cater to me".
I play games to be entertained, to have fun, to be challenged at times while experiencing a decent narrative and interesting setting.

Why did I and millions of other people manage to have fun? But some cynical Ganker schmuck didnt. Expecting dopamine on a silver platter is the downfall of gaming
Holding O works on easy enemies. Or it used to, in older patches. Now everything downs and stunlocks you. Look at This Is How You Don't Play FF XV to see what happens to DSP even on day 1

There no issue in this video since it's a Final Fantasy, a JRPG, that you could always just "attack" and defeat your enemies. Now you just have an animation and no need to keep pushing the button.
I would pick FF7R, it's mechanically sound and a nice combination of the ATB and action rpg. Also playable party members and magic not behaving like grenades.
I mean I already played FF7R. I like the combat but I have a feeling it's the only non-turn-based FF combat I'd like without going into Kingdom Hearts which I don't want to do.
I still can't believe they replaced an exciting city escape with pushing a fricking car for 10 minutes. They put all the action in that shitty movie. Imagine defending this garbage.
>Is that... A HECKIN LADDERINO? I'M GOING INSAAAAAANE AAAH EAT ME SNAKE EATER MAN
trash game
Your mom will die in her sleep tonight if you do not regret and apologize for your sins.
Trash opinion
Tell me what's good about this boring fricking game.

That sounds like a 'you' problem.
>That sounds like a 'you' problem.
not wanting to dive into a shitty designed combat system is a "me" problem?

don't you have to watch a shitty anime and movie
Those have nothing to do with the game at any point
>Those have nothing to do with the game at any point
they patched in scenes from the movie into the game
>don't you have to watch a shitty anime and movie
and read a true ending novel
Oh no not the 2 minute long nightmare scenes that appear twice in the game
how dare you
not him but I played it on console. Before any major DLCs/updates.
Seeing what it is now makes it feel like I got suckered into buying an early access game with really shitty combat

Is final fantasy on PC really that moddable? Can I do scripting
sadly all you can do in XV is model swaps since any release of official modding tools died when they cancelled story DLC and fired Tabata
I dont have a screenshot and dont have the game installed but the ladder before the capra demon in ds1
There are no ladders anywhere around Capra demon
>he didnt find the ladder
>before
you mean after?
I don't recall a longass ladder in this disappointment of a game
>What a thrill…
So, anyone looking forward to Forspoken ?
>empty open world
>MC who won't shut up
>XV team
no thanks
Should I play this garbage of I liked FF7R? Liking FF again as a result of Remake but I have a feeling I was right dropping it after FF10.
If you're a cynical little man child, you won't find anything fun

A fricking NPC from XIV is seen as more popular than the main character of XV
>Yuna that high

Haurchefant is overrated.
