Well now vast majority of FPS’ are developed with consoles in mind. So I see why you’re so bitter. Making it so you have to make more tactile decisions about what weapons you choose because you’re limited to two created a new play style from the boomer shooters of the past.

I played Super Metroid so many times that I can sorta of speedrun it. It's so much fun to do little tricks like precise wall jumping, bomb jumpings and frame perfect jumps on breakable floors. I'll say, none of the gba games managed to capture its movement. Wouldn't call it a 10/10 game because Maridia exists but it's still pretty damn good.

Been playing through this again recently with a modlist of 1800+ mods automatically downloaded and compiled from Wabbajack, and it's been a blast with a ton of new content.
The thing about Skyrim is that is such a content packed game (despite being rushed) that you are bound to come across something that will make you love it. It's a broken piece of shit but an entertaining one.
