It doesn't look comfy to hold. It looks DIFFICULT to hold. Like the whole thing would just keep slipping out of my hands because it's too smooth and round.
reminder that THIS is how you had to hold the phone to access the speaker and mic. how the frick this passed muster is beyond me. was the entire product design team drunk for the approval meeting? knowing the finns, they probably were
Maybe I missed some marketing bullshit that caused people to be mad at this, but I just saw an android console and then everyone got mad that it was just an android console.
it was actually bad even compared to other android devices.
and i mean in a "you have to install google play separately" kind of way
in a "too underpowered for the latest android games" kind of way
imagine buying THE revolutionary android box, and it sucks even for emulation
even for browsing the web
you can't even make a decent streaming box out of that
It was an Android console that was marketed as the next big thing because "you can overclock it" and it promised a trial version of every downloadable entity on the storefront.
Turns out the controllers they sold weren't great, the game selection didn't live up to the hype and they discontinued the trial for all paid games a few months in because it wasn't profitable and it pissed off publishers
Just imagine if it had >decent controller with rechargeable battery and gyroscope >optional subscription service with yearly changing games catalogue >upgradable storage and ram memory modules: from 32gb up to 256gb ssd, ram from 1gb up to 8gb.
What up, guys! Thank you for having me EA, guys if you don't know who I am, my name is Jesse Wellens and I am a Youtube creator. So I am here....to....talk about....Need For Speed....ummm....Payback. Uh, if you guys didn't know...Need for Speed Payback, I'm buh-ummm..........yeah, it's a great game. But alright, all set aside, I'm a Youtube creator, Need for Speed Payback is coming out, I got my boy Marcus Executive Producer here. He is the producer of the game, thanks nig-thank you for having me.
Nope, you could often build a better mini-PC yourself. Most of the problem was they were intended to have SteamOS pre-installed but Microsoft screeched and threatened.
>make a board dedicated to mobile games >but with the caveat that gachashit generals will not be allowed there and instead permitted to still shit up Ganker and /vg/
well then what's the fricking point
When you rage and throw the controller it boomerangs back
Apparently these were actually more comfy to hold. They just looked silly.
This controller would have been great.
It would be very comfortable because it's basically half a steering wheel. Your hands are in a natural position and wont get cramped.
>holding a controller with two hands
Way to look absolutely moronic. Are you supposed to hold it up in front of you?
It doesn't look comfy to hold. It looks DIFFICULT to hold. Like the whole thing would just keep slipping out of my hands because it's too smooth and round.
Stop being so sweaty and greasy and wash your hands if you must.
None of these zoomers caught this subtle reference, but I did anon
I'm not a zoomer, but I didn't watch MTV.
According to whom? Sony marketing?
People at E3 who got to hold it.
Who said it felt good, Andre the Giant?
The reason they got rid of it was because they were about to pull an N64 controllee
The L1/R1 look absolutely fricking miserable.
looks too specialized for dpad and face buttons and not the analogs
Why did they call it the PS3
Because when you see it, you rotate 3 degrees and walk away
>knocks over the entire console display then bumps into a wall
Soul
>girl gamers
Does it have that rumble thingy?
No, the six axis came without it
They wanted to capture the Australian demographic.
that would fit up my ass nicely, I see the appeal
girl gamers would definitely shove this up their snatch. Did it have vibration?
Perfect for sony sisters.
I thought it looked really cool.
If they had fulfilled all their promises PS3 would have been the best console ever.
>ps home
>watch movies on your pshome tv
>launch all your games from pshome
>trophies were full 3D and could be displayed in your home
Man pshome was absolutely incredible. if they had actually followed through with all of it it would have been insane.
I miss weird experimental Sony.
Why did you post a picture of a taco?
>had to remove the battery to change games
What does the N stand for?
Nokia
GOATse phone
reminder that THIS is how you had to hold the phone to access the speaker and mic. how the frick this passed muster is beyond me. was the entire product design team drunk for the approval meeting? knowing the finns, they probably were
i never owned one and now i'm mad f9r those who did
imagine owning THAT instead of a gba, psp or nds
PS to PS
Hold SOVL
kek
Maybe I missed some marketing bullshit that caused people to be mad at this, but I just saw an android console and then everyone got mad that it was just an android console.
It was also terrible
I owned one. Controller was super uncomfortable and had input lag issues.
it was actually bad even compared to other android devices.

SIXTY BUCKS?!
I pretty much ignored everything to do with this console as it was happening. Can someone give a quick rundown on what the deal was?

Post the webm
HEY
YOU STILL DON'T OWN A SEGA CD?

I hope this never reaches the eceleb youtubers hands, ever and it stays locked up in some sony execs closet or desk forever.
>The original PS3 controller was actually better, here's why
does this even exist? Same with the Lime Green Wii?
the pee wii
Why you lie? Where were they?
>we only got white and black
I actually had a red Wii. Came with New Super Mario Bros. Wii and it was pretty cool.
HD looks better in motion, but also yes they messed it up
i still have this magazine somewhere
remember laughing at the silly-looking controller
LEAN MEAN GAMING MACHINE
i bet it was honestly super comfortable.
Were these worth it?
Nope, you could often build a better mini-PC yourself. Most of the problem was they were intended to have SteamOS pre-installed but Microsoft screeched and threatened.
Better than an 8bitdo.
its a person?
I wish someone made a repro of it. I just want to know how it feels on the hands.
Isn't possible unless they had the blueprint to get it 100% accurate to how it'd be
Grab tomorrow bananas and hold them together
Would today bananas work too?
no
I bet there's at least one third party controller that is built like this
Microsoft did it first
This is unironically still the best controller for PC gaming.
No, that would be the basic 360 controller.
Nah that would be the elite series 2
so when you throw it into a wall instead it turns around and comes back to you
>make a board dedicated to mobile games
>but with the caveat that gachashit generals will not be allowed there and instead permitted to still shit up Ganker and /vg/
well then what's the fricking point
he made those boards for better targeted marketing campaigns
