Op Here
what i meant is that it is funny as frick, not that it is embarassing. The idea of pokemon but being around human beings and everyone taking it so seriously is actually so fricking funny, it is the same as south park.
that's just because its the newest thing, give it time and people will be less harsh on it.
Look at the other games for example, people are a lot more nicer to 3 and 6 than they used to be. I'd like to compare this more to Yakuza 5 where "both games are overly bloated messes with too many characters and plots going on at once but god damn it there is so much fun shit to do in this game that i can forgive it"
7 has a boring dogshit story but 8 feels like someone took a first draft basic plot outline, confused it for the full script, and accidentally printed it out
I'm not that anon but for me the script isn't as tightly written as Gaiden. I think the short length of Gaiden actually works out in its favour.
Furuta was credited as the workhorse on Gaiden and after 0, 6, J, and LJ it's pretty easy to see his style. Even if the destination is just as dumb or underwhelming the actual journey tends to be more coherent than when Yokoyama is left to his own devices (though in 8's case there's a new writer who was in charge of the script)
4 is one of the best games in the series, so that's a big compliment to me. Unless you're one of those "LE RUBBER BULLETS?!" gays who can't get past that for some reason
Rubber Bullets is just one of its many problems. There’s also the overly convoluted plot, the lackluster main villain, Daigo suddenly becoming an antagonist without any build up, and the inclusion of the most moronic woman in the series.
That Saejima/Haruka scene was atrocious. You’re telling me that Kiryu would take chances and let his beloved adoptive daughter get almost raped as some sort of secret test of character?
the game markets itself as Kiryu's final chapter but ends up just being filler
even if you say that it's not logical, it's just a waste of a mainline entry. Which is fine if you're talking about a game like 4, but this literally was, again, marketed as Kiryu's final chapter and Gaiden (a very good game) directly leads into it'
it was a very piss-poor bait and switch
>Ichiban Game >Meeting Haruka
I mean I guess it could happen, but that doesn't sound like it's fix the "Filler" complaint.

you either actually resolve kiryu's story, or remove kiryu
ichiban ended up being a side character because kiryu was shoved in there and it was supposed to be his final story - except literally nothing came of it
ichi's story suffered, and basically just became a memberberries thing with eiji (in reference to the young master). Akane isn't even in ichi's fricking ending.

so here's a question, if the next game directly references 8's events and they become important to the plot of 9, does it stop being filler?
Maybe Its just me but I don't quite understand where these complaints come from, Yeah the story of Yakuza 5 was bad too but I wouldn't say that game was filler, If anything 4 is the biggest filler game of the series since nothing that happens in it matters to 5's narrative beyond why Saejima's going to jail again.

that's why I directly mentioned that it's the same as 4
maybe things will change and you're right, but these frickers literally forgot what happened in Gaiden which was the setup for 8.

Fair point, again I won't argue that 8's story is kinda stinky, because it is. But I'd be hard pressed to call it filler right now, on the subject of Gaiden I remember hearing about that Gaiden was made half way into development of 8 or so which would explain some things really, so maybe I'm in the wrong for trying to view it as a prequel to 8?
I loved Gaiden but I honestly couldn't tell you why you'd need to play it before 8.
I've never played 7 so I don't know the writing bar for Ichiban saga but I'd say it's a bit silly compared to the previous game. The coin locker ending was kino. Still it's fun to play, Yakuza isn't known for having over the top story writing but regardless it's the fun that matters
>I've never played 7 so I don't know the writing bar for Ichiban >but I'd say it's a bit silly compared to the previous game. The coin locker ending was kino
I'm on chapter 8. The main story is kinda weak so far, but other than that I'm really enjoying it. Side content is great especially Sujimon and the island.
Writing is impressively bad, Dondoko and Sujimon feel half-baked. Hawaii map is great, combat is much improved. Sidestories are about the same as 7, I personally enjoyed them a lot.
The last 1/4th is a slog with endless dialogue and Ichiban gets Apollo'd. Some plot threads aren't revisited and a lot of shit gets wrapped up in the laziest way possible. Kiryu's team look like total geeks in the final dungeon too.
I think he's talking about how Apollo Justice got sidelined in favor of Phoenix in second game of his "trilogy", but I honestly don't see it. I admit I'm only halfway done with the game but so far the plot has been 100% Ichiban centric with Kiryu tagging along, even if that gets reversed for the second half it would be an even split.
No matter how much screen time Kiryu gets in this game, It will never be as bad as how Apollo was shafted from day 1 and it never quite ended even if AA6 tried its best(although your opinion may vary on if it did a good job) to give him some kind of climatic moment, Ichiban will never have it as bad as Apollo did.
it is
not even trying to be contrarian just for the sake of it but these games have become SEGA's shovelware at this point
basically the game version of The Fast and The Furious
they're probably gonna have Kiryu show up in the next 10 games
Gameplay wise there is more interesting things to do than in Gaiden, yet the story is moronic. Itchy-balls has to find the mother that abandoned him in a coin locker, and caused him a lifetime of misery.
>take the hub world from sonic 06 >add a bunch of shitty mini games to it, complete with quirky poorly animated cutscenes and machine translation English >repeat for like 15 sequels >morons call this quality gaming
You literally can't defend this, you should be ashamed.
It's the new Yakuza 5.
Incredibly impressive in many ways and it has some of the best stuff in the series, but it doesn't really come together at the end and you will probably walk away a little disappointed.
Great combat (if you like turn based), the characters are mostly fun and hawaii is really a good location, vastly prefer it to yokohama.
The story shits the bed after the halfway point, but the Kiryu fanservice is undeniably good if you actually played all the games.
If you're into the minigames and side stuff, it's on the level of 5, if it doesn't surpass it. The story is gonna be looked at negatively for a lot of reasons. It's definitely not bad, it's consistent so at least it doesn't fly into Y4 or Y5 territory. I can't really put my finger on what it's missing, spoilers aside, I just think they didn't build up the antagonists enough. I never got that feeling like in most of the other games. It was pretty straightforward (past the half-way mark), which was odd for how long the runtime is.
I think I'm more baffled about how much PR and advertising went into this game considering how classic it feels. Like they just didn't really care and made a game for their long time fans but then it ended in a way that will almost certainly annoy long time fans the most. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.
mild spoilers and speculation on this going forward: I think Kiryu is done for good now at least. Not exactly the homecoming or end I thought, but at least they packed the implications to the rafters. I honestly thought Ichiban would be done in this one, at least they didn't pull a Y7. They didn't provide any hint of real closure except the stuff with Saeko which doesn't preclude another game. I would like them to move on with a new protag, relegate turn based to spinoffs.
>buys game for main character >series' main character gets game hijacked by some old fart dying of cancer >spends literally half the game 'reminiscing' instead of advancing the already shitty plot >doesn't even get to fight and kill the boss as Ichi whom you spent all of the growth item on and upgraded the gear to the max
LAD7 was so much better, why the frick can't you just play as Ichi all the way through instead of as fricking Kiryu. Call me a fricking Zoomer but I don't give a single shit about Kiryu and his fricking cancer adventure. This is some Metal Gear Solid 2 bullshit.
It's because Japs hated Yakuza 6 and how Kiryu's supposed send-off was half arsed to a point they casted aside important characters over celebrity actor/comedian cameos.
As it may be jarring for newer players, I think "reminiscing" was something Yakuza needed the most because a lot of major supporting characters were completely ignored since Yakuza 5, and that game was released over a decade ago.
They didn't even have a decent good byes before getting sent to a shadow realm either, as Y5 ended with an absoloute dog shit cliff hanger.
Yokoyama is fricking fumbling Yakuza hard right now. He needs a leash.
Insane how they fricking nailed Ichiban as the new face of the series in 7 and then somehow went 5 fricking steps back in 8 like how the frick does that shit even happen?
Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that's one of the top 10 worst titles for a game ever, just put the fricking 8 you bunch of dick sucking homosexuals that fear a little number
The enemies in Japan are usually just saying boring clichés. Speaking of the stuff that doesn't get subtitled, does anyone know if the Japanese language podcast is as interesting as the English one? Am I missing out on very much?
So what the frick is that blocked off hallway on Revolve's second floor? There's a door back there but I've done every substory and I'm on the final chapter but got nothing.
The thing that's really pissing me off after putting in almost 60 hours is how fricking useless status ailments are in this game. I am so sick of using a skill that has a chance of inflicting a status ailment, and it never lands. There's no strategizing in this game if none of the status ailments ever hit. Just what the frick is wrong with these morons? The movement circle barely addresses the problems with the fights in this game, not to mention allies and enemies both move around randomly to the point of fricking you over way too often.
Just what were they thinking? Completely over the game at this point. It's all surface level bullshit that never amounts to anything interesting. Not to mention the bizarre choice to make you wait 15 hours to get access to the job system. Also the game is just padded with way too much time wasting bullshit (yes, I know I'm playing a RGG game, but it's bad even for their standards).
RGG has proven they can't do RPG games well, they need to stop and just go back to brawlers. It doesn't help that the story is fricking moronic so that's barely keeping me going as well.
Yeah pretty much. I'm on the 4th level now trying to beat all the other Robo Michios. My problem is that I've been avoiding grinding levels and just brute forcing my way through the combat but sometimes it feels like that's how the game wants you to play and it's so moronic.
I'm 90% sure the frickers intentionally move out of the way
Theyll be perfectly still or stay in the same general area until you start lining up aoe/line shots
I've definitely noticed that too, really annoying when it happens. For all the benefits of the movement circle, half the time I feel like I'm just fighting against RNG bullshit anyway.
What's the best way to get money? My Dondoko is halfway between 3 and 4 stars but it doesn't seem like I get that much money. Does it ramp up heaps when you get 5 stars?
Actually not entirely true. Some of the subtitles aren't 1-to-1 with the dub voice-acting, especially for the obvious ones with "Bon Voyage/A Hui Hou". Still doesn't excuse some of the terrible translation though, like pic related.
Do men seriously not have standards anymore?
How the frick are women like this that are barely average in terms of looks still get all that simp money and attention?
>Erm, actually, if you have a problem, then you're the problem
Wow, what a nice and convenient way to shut down any potential arguments or discussions.
How did this and P3 reload had bikini for body type Bs while Japanese console game got bikini banned since July 8th 2022? Proof: Ryza 3 and FF7R2's burka swimsuit for being safehorny.
frick it just make a spinoff with joongi already, have him shipped off to korea and get some famous B-list korean actors to play main characters that get written out in the sequel
you know how badly i want a korean gangster/mafia game done by the rgg devs? ever since they put kim jae-uck as nishitani iii i've been foaming at the mouth for another facecast korean actor to be put in an rgg game (besides daniel dae kim)
>Gaiden and Most of the game drill in the MUH SEKRET DAIDOJI SUPER AGENT >The last life link where they take Kiryu to the warehuse to show Date getting gobsmacked >They let Kiryu's gaggle of goons tag along
How incompetent are the Daidodji
>How incompetent are the Daidodji
we're talking about the same agency that got blindsided by the omi alliance posing as the cia. the same agency that chose the name "joryu" for kiryu. the same agency that failed to keep the secret of onomichi under wraps.
It’s the Hulk effect where people are constantly saying “woah the Incredible Hulk! Nobody could beat him! He’s an invincible super strong badass monster!” And then what actually happens is he’s the first guy to get his shit rocked by every new adversary to prove that THEY’RE so crazy strong they could even beat the Hulk.
So they keep talking about how the Daidoji is a hyper competent super secret spy agency but in actuality they have to do the dumbest shit you’ve ever seen and get constantly BTFO so that the plot can continue.
This game left me kind of sour on the idea of Ichiban as a protagonist going forward. I didn't feel like I saw much out of Ichiban that I didn't already see in 7.
On Kiryu's side of the story seeing him deal with his sickness and having a crew of friends to lean on felt like new ground for the character.
On Ichiban's side it felt like the only new thing was his relationship with Saeko moving into a romantic one, but even then that went nowhere and ended in a gag despite them stringing players along with it for the entire game.
Ichiban willing to forgive even the worst villains as long as they're willing to reform was fine at first. But at this point we've seen it done with Nanba, Aoki, Chitose, Eiji, and probably some other minor cases I'm forgetting. It's just gotten repetitive and stale over the course of only two games.
Over the course of Kiryu's saga I feel like we got to see him grow more hardened and disillusioned with the Yakuza from game to game. I don't see a trajectory like that happening with Ichiban unless they're willing to change his character to something more than "the goodest boy who ever was".
I hope if Ichiban is the protag of a third game they find a way to do something different with him. I can't really see him lasting as long as Kiryu as is.
I don't know, if we're complaining about static protags with Ichiban from 7 to 8, why would Akiyama be a fix? He's changed even less than Ichiban, to the point he can just magically regrow ludicrous amounts of money no matter what happens to him otherwise. Like Akiyama can't even change on a surface level.
I'd say he changed pretty drastically from 4 to everything else, or at least his circumstances did. Like 4 ended with him reconciling the Tojo being a part of his past he can acknowledge and support, with Haruka right by his side saying he should.
Then 5 makes him abandon them for reasons they had already shown that Haruka didn't want in a Yakzua 2 substory. And after that 0 goes back in time to make Kiryu's reasons for joining the yakuza and specifically staying in it and the Dojima family the stupidest shit in the world. Then 6 has him make a colossally stupid decision again. And they can't even stay consistent from 6 to Gaiden, where 6 the understanding is Kiryu's forcing the Daidoji's hands and also has the power to ruin them by revealing the Yamato MkII connection + threatened to physically dismantle them if they threaten his family but then just lets them do that in Gaiden and takes it.
I get why some people were let down by it, but I really liked the Bucket List stories as they let us see the characters impacted by Kiryu and how much he's meant to them, even years after Kiryu "died". The Hawaii side of the story felt completely meaningless though, unless you care about Ichiban meeting his mom for some reason.
>we need to nerf Kiryu because he needs to be playable in this >okay but how can we do it? >CANCER >okay but where is the cancer coming from? >NOT cigarettes - remember we still get sponsor money from all those cigarette companies after all >eh....radiation? >Great Idea! What if we expose Kiryu to nuclear waste! >Yeah but that would feel very forced we gonna tie this into the main plot somehow >Well, we decided to make Hawaii the location of this game in order to make this series sound more appealing to newcomers - What if the villain decided to turn one of the islands into a nuclear waste dump! >GENIUS! >But he isn't actually gonna die right? >Nah, we will give him chemo at the end and he is the Dragon of Dojima so of course he will live >But we have to spend 50% of the game playing as Kiryu so he can reminisce about his glorious past and everyone you know is getting a cameo! >Because Kiryu fighting with himself and not being sure if he still wants to keep moving forward has been a conflict for this guy since forever
RGG has done brand deals with cigarette companies before so I think they felt pressured to make it super clear that Kiryu's cancer had nothing to do with smoking even if it's incredibly stupid. I'm fine with him not dying of cancer though, I think the idea is more of seeing him having to deal with not essential being invincible and needing to lean on the support of those around him.
>we need to nerf Kiryu because he needs to be playable in this >okay but how can we do it? >CANCER >okay but where is the cancer coming from? >NOT cigarettes - remember we still get sponsor money from all those cigarette companies after all >eh....radiation? >Great Idea! Wtf... on the last chapter with Ichi and I want to craft Enchanted Demon Slayer for the samurai, but I'm locked out of going back to Ijincho? Seriously? Really having such a sour taste in my mouth with this dumb fricking game with the split party bullshit
terrible, dont bother
just keep playing, the economy ramp up is insane in the game, even regular fights will start giving massive amounts of money. doing optional dungeons is probably the best moneymaker in the game.
Pretty sure food vendor by boats marina south map over leftside bridge gives money multiplyer bonuses from the food drink combos so go there then the dungeon and you can make way more.
Most people who call the game filler don’t understand Kiryu’s character arc in this game.
Kiryu was borderline suicidal in 6, Gaiden, and the start of 8. He has very little reaction to getting mock executed by the Daidoji and considers sacrificing another man’s life for his an insult. Today is a Diamond’s lyrics are actually about suicide. He refuses to get cancer treatment because he sees it as a waste.
The whole point of the bucket list is Kiryu taking the time to realize that he wasn’t a burden on people’s lives, he inspired a lot of good people to always keep fighting. He finally sees the value in his own life and decides to live. It’s a really huge step forward for him.
i thought this was pretty obvious.
and this was actually good. the problem with the story is how the whole cult shit goes absolutely nowhere and both antagonists feel super undercooked.
I assume the people calling the story filler are just talking about Ichiban's side of the story. Nothing really meaningful happens to him. I feel like at the end of the game he is basically back to the status quo of the start of the game, just basically making a few new friends in the process. A lot more happens to Kiryu and I feel like his ending has much bigger implications for him than Ichiban.
>considers sacrificing another man’s life for his an insult
Kiryu's been like this the whole series, really. Always viewed his own life as insignificant, sacrificing his time and pleasures just so someone else might live just a bit better. The only time he wasn't like this was the Okinawa part of 3 - coincidentally, my favorite part of the series. It's the one place we see him truly happy, living a life that makes both him and the kids better off.
Subgays, please help me understand why you feel subs are better. You guys don't understand Japanese, so how can the subbed version of a game be a better experience for you if you don't really understand what & how they're saying the words? Reputable publishers generally get good, experienced people to do dubs so you
generally have a quality dub in English, whether or not it is noticeably better than the original Japanese voice acting or vice versa. Yes, Yong Yea's voice acting wasn't good but there are bad voice actors in Japanese voice acting as well so how is subs the better choice?
>You guys don't understand Japanese
speak for yourself, beside it's just a shonen, it's always the same 50 words throw in all the time, even a monkey with pattern recognition would be able to grasp the general idea of a sentence
Even ignoring the voice quality and how a majority of the series is sub only, a bunch of characters' faces are based off the people who play them
Playing it dubbed is like watching a dubbed live action movie to me (though with Danny Trejo as Dwight I still get that experience lol)
>Reputable publishers generally get good, experienced people to do dubs so you
if youre telling the me dub is good, i know youre baiting or just have extremely low standards for what you even consider passable
>Yes, Yong Yea's voice acting wasn't good
And this is why I prefer subs. >but there are bad voice actors in Japanese voice acting
Fair enough. Can you name at least a few such cases from Yakuza games?
>Can you name at least a few such cases from Yakuza games?
It's mostly the characters portrayed by themselves such as the hostesses and exceptions like whoever was voicing the kids in the first ono michio substory
In the case of 8 it's Asakura who doesn't even try in any of his battle noises, doesn't help that he sucks in general
Eri in 7 sounded pretty good though, her battlecries were enjoyable
Increase the money gained by ten times so it's actually a worthwhile method to farm money. Actually, maybe even twenty times because of how long a 3 day cycle takes
I was hooked on Dondoko. I want it brought back in 9 and let me build carnivals and waterparks. I'd shill out $15 right now if they released an expansion to the island with new stuff to build and more space to put it in.
alright anon, please sell me on dodonko. what about it is so addictive for other people? i stuck with it for about two hours before getting bored and going back to hawaii.
Some people just like a random sense of constant progression, a different group of people like autistically designing and organizing things on a grid, Dondoko appeals to both. That said he's right, if they made a Yakuza city builder you can bet your ass it'd be a decent seller.
fair enough. i guess for me i was annoyed because i had no idea how to make "satisfaction" increase. seemed to just kinda go up whenever i collected a lot of bugs or fish or whack off some guys. speaking of which, i hate dodonko combat but at least the bat is really easy to upgrade
Yes. The difference is that Gaiden got written as some form of true epilogue after 6 while 8 got written to be as marketable as possible. They came up with the idea of a game that they want and than bruteforced the writing around that >so we want Kiryu to be playable to get all the Kiryu fans on board but how do we balance that? >By giving him cancer that makes him so weak he basically starts as a level 1 RPG character >okay but how did he get cancer? Was it the alcohol or smoking? >Nah, we can't do that cause that would piss off our tobacco and alcohol sponsors - let him get sick through radiation poisoning
And that's how they came up with the dumbass nuclear plot the game. And Hawaii is also only a location because Hawaii is a more appealing setting for newcomers - If Japan and its cities didn't get people to try out the game maybe some place in America will do.
>Hawaii is a more appealing setting for newcomers
let's be honest, hawaii is barely america. native hawaiians are in the "we're only part of america when it benefits them/us" camp which i can not blame them for.
Not exactly. Gaiden was supervised by Yokoyama (ergo the muh Yumi shit and the meaningless Morinaga reference) and had the script written by the Judgment writer, 8 was supervised by Yokoyama and written by Takeuchi or whoever, with the Judgment writer on script support instead.
Why do you have to fight Yamai so many times man. They thought "Oh people liked Kuze" and forgot that his fights were more fun because didn't take as long because the games were still brawlers back then.
I didn't know kiryu becomes such a focus of the plot later on, it's kind of turned me off the game a bit. I haven't played all the yakuzas so I never felt like I got the full journey of kiryu whereas with LAD it was semi-fresh start with ichiban.
>initially just ichiban being insane >except the sujimon professor sees them too, ok both are insane >there's an entire underground bum-fighting ring centered around sujimon in america
i...no, this is a real thing. sujimon are real and very few people can see the world for how it truly is. >now kiryu sees them, too
the frick, is this an homage to They Live now?
The guy’s trying to provoke him into violence while being recorded to show his “true colors”. Turning the other cheek resulted in embarassing the butthole.
The story has plenty of issues but this isn’t one of them.
i still can't wrap my head around why they picked yongyea of all dudes for the voice of kiryu fricking kazuma. debra wilson could give both a better performance AND not sound as off-character as yongyea.
i'm really starting to get pissed off at the fact that i played gaiden. ah yes here's kiryu's FOR REAL big send-off for the last time we swear (he's going to appear in 8 and everything in Gaiden is effectively meaningless aside from the two or three scenes he has with hanawa), aw whoops we didn't send him off here either guess we just don't know how to stop bringing kiryu back. frick it, let's give him cancer. that'll stop him someday.
In general there feels like a big disconnect between Gaiden and 8. Gaiden made Daidoji seem important than they were, it made Hanawa seem more important than he was and in Gaiden Kiryu at least seemed like he was trying to keep his identity a secret while in 8 it seems like he stops giving a frick altogether outside of Life Links and even in some of those he figures it's fine for the civilians who don't really know him for yakuza stuff.
I wouldn't say it's the worst entry, but there are some highly egregious standouts if you ask me. >Hanawa, built up in Gaiden, is a nothing character and dies after a few scenes >Convenient thing after convenient thing keeps happening to push the plot forward. (No one noticed someone recording the conversation with Daigo even though four people were standing outside.) >Life links went from interesting to infuriating as you watch characters like Nakajima, Komaki, and the Hiroshima boys get cucked out of knowing Kiryu is alive but a random fricking girl from a substory in 6 does, and the hostess from (Kiwami) 2 >Jumping from Ichiban to Kiryu constantly is extremely jarring because of how much more side content Ichi has at hawaii >Daidodji turn into even bigger jobbers >Life Links don't even go anywhere, by the end Kiryu is back at square one of being on the Daidodji leash until the ending >2nd game in the rpg format and party members are still absent from substories and action sequences
>Life links went from interesting to infuriating as you watch characters like Nakajima, Komaki, and the Hiroshima boys get cucked out of knowing Kiryu is alive but a random fricking girl from a substory in 6 does, and the hostess from (Kiwami) 2
The ones that actually met him knew it was Kiryu you moron, they just kept up the "You remind us of someone we used to know" spiel because they knew there must have been some reason why he couldn't openly acknowledge them. For the Hiroshima gang, Date even straight up says after that he thinks they figured out it was Kiryu. The annoying ones are really just Kazuki/Yuya and Kaoru since they didn't meet him at all. Kaoru especially after she mentions part of the reason she's still single is because maybe she feels like Kiryu might come back for her one day.
The thing I dislike more about the Life Links is that some of them don't even make any fricking sense in the context of the main story. Are you telling me that Nakajima is aware of the rumours that Kiryu is alive, but not Kaoru, of all people?
homeless guy stuff is with cleaning supplies, it's the large drug store in Ijincho on one of the main thoroughfares. Also, the guy in Koreatown that sells out of the stall has some homeless weapons as well. I think it's the cleaning supply store in Hawaii iirc. but it could be another drugstore. if they sell weapons, it will be marked with the proper icon.
>tennis ace and linebacker's 7* outfits in some random store at anaconda
well, frick. i guess all the ladies are tennis aces now, good thing skill inheritance is a thing.
if you use the map and click more details on a store (X on xbox controller), it will show you three items they sell, which is the most any single store carries for jobs. So you can easily see which store sells what and usually it's in the name (surf shop, firearms, cleaning supplies, etc).
Seriously, why the frick did they cuck Kiryu so hard? Everyone saying he's not effeminated or whatever in this game but he just acts like some defenseless homosexual that NEEDS constant help from others to get anything done and on top of that they just made him act completely out of character at the end crying and sobbing like a b***h over some absolute nobody he had no relation to whatsoever.
>Eiga inquiring about Kiryu as "The Dragon of Dojima" after he gets kidnapped by Iyami (I forgot the crowbar guy's name so I'm going to refer to him as the guy from Osomatsu) Eiga was filming Ichiban VS. Tomizawa to frame him for beating up an American citizen, huh. He was also probably the jerk that framed Ichiban in the first place OH MY GOD don't tell me he's the fricking vtuber
How do I get good at Sujmon? Does friendship increase their damage? I spent all my much getting two grass types to max level for the second gym but they do barely any damage even with type advantage
Literally just fight the trainers around town, you're only allowed to get them up to 10 at first then every badge you get increases that by 10. Use the gacha machines becauause you might get lucky and get a good roll, I got the legendary light one and it carried me from the second to last boss through to the final championship. Use the sujimon menu to check active raids, you fight them with your party so find one's that are around your level and get a decent mon, usually they'll be by themselves instead of as a group, there's a sumo guy up in that grass field at the top right which is pretty decent, give him the best sujimon gift you have and stop the bar at the end to do the best giving animation then spam x and he should join. Besides that just have at least one of each type on your team and switch them out as necessary to type match, keep the fastest on the front line that way you should always move first and then you can switch in a heavy hitter on your first turn to hit hard.
Its direction is a schizo mess because Yoko had no idea how to handle 4 perspectives. So you have Akiyama getting tutorial'd, Saejima prison hell, the guy who cost Majima his eye gets Arai with a Gun'd almost instantly, secretly bad cop but actually good blows his brains out in front of a little girl offscreen immediately after his sinister reveal, the actual villain built up over the game doesn't even make it to the final chapter, etc. Then you get to Kiryu where it's obvious he was shoved in at the last second and they do the "drop a gun next to defeated villain" thing twice in a row in the same scene. Easily Yokoyama at his most unhinged, but that ironically makes it way more entertaining
Yeah okay maybe I need to do a full series replay because all I remember was Akiyama and Tanimura being bros to people and their sick ass fighting styles.
Let me take a wild shot in the dark as someone who liked 4.
There's too many perspectives going on at once, None of the major villains are particularly great enough to carry a game on their own, let alone in a group, and ofcourse the sad fact that almost nothing that happens in it matters afterwards until 8 remembered it existed.
Rubber Bullets are dumb but they aren't a big deal compared to the overall scope, still a hell of a fun time but its just a stupid time as well.
Chitose Worship Thread
She needs to spit and piss in my mouth and watch as I swallow.
give it to me yakuzabros... is it bad?
No, it's fantastic.
Just a reminder that Yuki is supposed to be 58 years old and Koyuki is supposed to be 38, though Koyuki still looks kinda believable.
Asian women don't age. But one day they just magically transform into some tiny baba goblin.
Op Here
what i meant is that it is funny as frick, not that it is embarassing. The idea of pokemon but being around human beings and everyone taking it so seriously is actually so fricking funny, it is the same as south park.
It would be better if the sujimons actually fight each other with full fighting animations
the writing is a huge step back from 7 and gaiden
it's 4-tier honestly
lmao no it isn't
I'm not that anon but for me the script isn't as tightly written as Gaiden. I think the short length of Gaiden actually works out in its favour.
sure, but saying it's as bad as 4 is hyperbole as frick
that's just because its the newest thing, give it time and people will be less harsh on it.
Look at the other games for example, people are a lot more nicer to 3 and 6 than they used to be. I'd like to compare this more to Yakuza 5 where "both games are overly bloated messes with too many characters and plots going on at once but god damn it there is so much fun shit to do in this game that i can forgive it"
7 has a boring dogshit story but 8 feels like someone took a first draft basic plot outline, confused it for the full script, and accidentally printed it out
Furuta was credited as the workhorse on Gaiden and after 0, 6, J, and LJ it's pretty easy to see his style.
Redpill me on le rubber bullets
Rubber Bullets is just one of its many problems. There’s also the overly convoluted plot, the lackluster main villain, Daigo suddenly becoming an antagonist without any build up, and the inclusion of the most moronic woman in the series.
That Saejima/Haruka scene was atrocious. You’re telling me that Kiryu would take chances and let his beloved adoptive daughter get almost raped as some sort of secret test of character?
>4 is bad
just say you're a redditor
Even a huge step back from those is still miles ahead of 4.
nothing in 8 is as stupid as Mirror Face
7 had the worst story by some margin. Some of the characters saved it from being completely irredeemable.
It's bad. Way too long, and there's no reason for Kiyru to even be in the game. Definitely the most boring story in the series.
Its honestly pretty great as long as you just kinda admit to yourself that the series has rarely been logical, which it isn't.
the game markets itself as Kiryu's final chapter but ends up just being filler
even if you say that it's not logical, it's just a waste of a mainline entry. Which is fine if you're talking about a game like 4, but this literally was, again, marketed as Kiryu's final chapter and Gaiden (a very good game) directly leads into it'
it was a very piss-poor bait and switch
>muh filler
alright what would not have been filler?
actually meeting haruka
>Ichiban Game
>Meeting Haruka
>I've never played 7 so I don't know the writing bar for Ichiban
>but I'd say it's a bit silly compared to the previous game. The coin locker ending was kino
Yes, Ichiban and Masato return to the place where they were both switched was fricking kino
ludo even
I'm on chapter 8.
It was made to wipe 6 ass but end up unironically failing as well
Other than that it's the best JRPG on the market right now
The last 1/4th is a slog with endless dialogue and Ichiban gets Apollo'd. Some plot threads aren't revisited and a lot of shit gets wrapped up in the laziest way possible. Kiryu's team look like total geeks in the final dungeon too.
appolo'd?
I think he's talking about how Apollo Justice got sidelined in favor of Phoenix in second game of his "trilogy", but I honestly don't see it. I admit I'm only halfway done with the game but so far the plot has been 100% Ichiban centric with Kiryu tagging along, even if that gets reversed for the second half it would be an even split.
Kiryu gets the better chapters later on so I can see why people think that. Ichiban is just a gag character at the end of the day
Okay spoil me.
What are the reasons for the game to sideline Ichiban in the last chapters?
Apparently Kiryu even steal Ichiban's friends from him wtf?
No matter how much screen time Kiryu gets in this game, It will never be as bad as how Apollo was shafted from day 1 and it never quite ended even if AA6 tried its best(although your opinion may vary on if it did a good job) to give him some kind of climatic moment, Ichiban will never have it as bad as Apollo did.
Story sucks, Hawaii sucks and Yokohama sucks, but it's still fun to play.
First 3 chapters are a slog to get through.
it is
not even trying to be contrarian just for the sake of it but these games have become SEGA's shovelware at this point
basically the game version of The Fast and The Furious
they're probably gonna have Kiryu show up in the next 10 games
Gameplay wise there is more interesting things to do than in Gaiden, yet the story is moronic. Itchy-balls has to find the mother that abandoned him in a coin locker, and caused him a lifetime of misery.
Yakuza has always been at the bottom of the trash heap. It's for poor little Japanese boys who can only afford one game for the year.
have a nice day troony
>take the hub world from sonic 06
>add a bunch of shitty mini games to it, complete with quirky poorly animated cutscenes and machine translation English
>repeat for like 15 sequels
>morons call this quality gaming
You literally can't defend this, you should be ashamed.
Yeah we know these games are too masculine for you, troony. This is the only (You) you'll get from me.
It's shit, by far the most disappointing game in the series
It's the new Yakuza 5.
Incredibly impressive in many ways and it has some of the best stuff in the series, but it doesn't really come together at the end and you will probably walk away a little disappointed.
i played it for 100 hours it sucked
Great combat (if you like turn based), the characters are mostly fun and hawaii is really a good location, vastly prefer it to yokohama.
The story shits the bed after the halfway point, but the Kiryu fanservice is undeniably good if you actually played all the games.
It's great.
Arguably the worst story in the entire series
on chapter 5 and bored to tears, can't get myself to keep playing
It's unironically the worst fricking game in the whole series.
After reading most of the replies I'm glad I didn't pre-order.
It's just a fanservice fest with barely any original content
Looking forward to seeing what comes next.
mild spoilers and speculation on this going forward:
I think Kiryu is done for good now at least.
Ebina speech and fight saved the story for me
It's a sidegrade of Yakuza 7. So pretty bad by yakuza standards but overal still enjoyable.
I just wish they dropped that boring turn based combat already
I have a laundry list of problems with the ending but everything else was great.
>buys game for main character
>series' main character gets game hijacked by some old fart dying of cancer
>spends literally half the game 'reminiscing' instead of advancing the already shitty plot
>doesn't even get to fight and kill the boss as Ichi whom you spent all of the growth item on and upgraded the gear to the max
Oh I lost all interest now, ichiban was a far better character. Not buying this
It's because Japs hated Yakuza 6 and how Kiryu's supposed send-off was half arsed to a point they casted aside important characters over celebrity actor/comedian cameos.
B U R A I S U
HEY YOU SUCK BY THE WAY
IT'S NOT A SHOW SHITHEAD
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT
WHAT’S WITH THE SIDE EYE?!?
These enemy mob taunts crack me up every time.
As an EOP it's nice to finally hear what they are saying. 'I'LL SUE YOU' always cracks me up.
The enemies in Japan are usually just saying boring clichés. Speaking of the stuff that doesn't get subtitled, does anyone know if the Japanese language podcast is as interesting as the English one? Am I missing out on very much?
Holy frick are you me? I constantly reply "I'll take all your money" in my head when I hear them say it.
Mine is saying “dead men” when they say “whatchu lookin at?”
SMELL IT
So what the frick is that blocked off hallway on Revolve's second floor? There's a door back there but I've done every substory and I'm on the final chapter but got nothing.
Nevermind I found the stairs around back, just a blade proof plate in a gold chest
The only fight where I felt like I was actually fighting a real boss where every turn mattered was at the bottom of Hawaiian Haunt level 3.
You get like, 300k for getting resort 5 star.
i guess. endgame is all about farming dungeons
is there a cabaret manager minigame? Trailer showed kiryu with the 4shine peeps.
No. That trailer scene is something you see in the literal second to last chapter. Those trailers spoiled so much shit.
>Those trailers spoiled so much shit.
Absolutely. It's probably one of the worst cases I've seen in any game trailer.
Nope, but the 50 year old hostesses still use the same model as their 20 year old selves!
I want to be in a polygamous married relationship with both Yuki and Koyuki.
>dubtitles only, nothing is actually translated
Actually not entirely true. Some of the subtitles aren't 1-to-1 with the dub voice-acting, especially for the obvious ones with "Bon Voyage/A Hui Hou". Still doesn't excuse some of the terrible translation though, like pic related.
Kyodais....are we the problem?
frick dubgays and frick literal who 3dpd ethot streamers
that ethot played the series on original japan is what makes it hurts more, why are burgers like this
idk who this is but I'm guessing this is a SAFE SPACE and NO CRITICISM!!! is allowed OR it will hurt the actors Fee Fee's 🙁
eww
Do men seriously not have standards anymore?
How the frick are women like this that are barely average in terms of looks still get all that simp money and attention?
barely average makes them feel like they have a chance I guess
and maybe trannies watches it for confidence boost
>that name
its a troony, isnt it
No, but it is a woman whose face looks like Droopy Dog's
>are we the problem?
for watching someone else play the game? yes.
>Erm, actually, if you have a problem, then you're the problem
Wow, what a nice and convenient way to shut down any potential arguments or discussions.
When you level alternative jobs do the stat boosts carry over into other jobs?
yes
yes.
Why did they turn Majima and Saejima into giant pussies?
How did this and P3 reload had bikini for body type Bs while Japanese console game got bikini banned since July 8th 2022? Proof: Ryza 3 and FF7R2's burka swimsuit for being safehorny.
pretty sure bikini censorship depends on who opens the wallet for the devs (publisher)
>Yakuza.... the game!!!!!
If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd watch a movie.
>Let me take titles literal and just read everything by its cover
it's not about that. It's about how much cutscenes and dialogues Yakuza games have.
Battles without honor or humanity is better
frick it just make a spinoff with joongi already, have him shipped off to korea and get some famous B-list korean actors to play main characters that get written out in the sequel
>spinoff with joongi
Hell yeah K-pop mafia spinoff.
don't threaten me with a good time, anon
you know how badly i want a korean gangster/mafia game done by the rgg devs? ever since they put kim jae-uck as nishitani iii i've been foaming at the mouth for another facecast korean actor to be put in an rgg game (besides daniel dae kim)
>spinoff with joongi already
jun-gi han goes to hamhampangpang, featuring son soo-ho
Honestly?
I fricking love the final boss OST.
>Gaiden and Most of the game drill in the MUH SEKRET DAIDOJI SUPER AGENT
>The last life link where they take Kiryu to the warehuse to show Date getting gobsmacked
>They let Kiryu's gaggle of goons tag along
Can you buy the drinks that level you up and just spam them or is that not possible
Yes, and no. There is a limit on various vendors. Yet this game is EXTREMELY easy to exploit via save-scumming.
There was a recent patch, so I only fear the day approaches when Sega nerfs exploits into the ground to sell more DLC.
what are the absolute most overpowered items to buy?
Where do you find this vendor?
Don't recall ever using this before
This game left me kind of sour on the idea of Ichiban as a protagonist going forward.
I can't really see him lasting as long as Kiryu as is.
reboot the whole series with young akiyama at the forefront
nah, they should do the Majima gaiden
They can make a whole spin off series centered around majima
majima fricking sucks. Literally anyone else is more interesting
he's cool but he doesnt work as a protag, even 0 has not!Majima in his place because his usual personality just wouldnt fit a protag role
akiyama needs just one more fricking game all to himself
I don't know, if we're complaining about static protags with Ichiban from 7 to 8, why would Akiyama be a fix? He's changed even less than Ichiban, to the point he can just magically regrow ludicrous amounts of money no matter what happens to him otherwise. Like Akiyama can't even change on a surface level.
Kiryu also didn’t change much from 4-6.
God, I hate Kiryu's arc since 5.
Someone please post the "it is the GAYEST road" edit of the pic of Kiryu over Ebina. I didn't save it.
>7
>mind blowing revelations one after another
>8
>a couple "revelations" that amount to nothing
I get why some people were let down by it, but I really liked the Bucket List stories as they let us see the characters impacted by Kiryu and how much he's meant to them, even years after Kiryu "died". The Hawaii side of the story felt completely meaningless though, unless you care about Ichiban meeting his mom for some reason.
RGG has done brand deals with cigarette companies before so I think they felt pressured to make it super clear that Kiryu's cancer had nothing to do with smoking even if it's incredibly stupid. I'm fine with him not dying of cancer though, I think the idea is more of seeing him having to deal with not essential being invincible and needing to lean on the support of those around him.
>we need to nerf Kiryu because he needs to be playable in this
>okay but how can we do it?
>CANCER
>okay but where is the cancer coming from?
>NOT cigarettes - remember we still get sponsor money from all those cigarette companies after all
>eh....radiation?
>Great Idea! What if we expose Kiryu to nuclear waste!
>Yeah but that would feel very forced we gonna tie this into the main plot somehow
>Well, we decided to make Hawaii the location of this game in order to make this series sound more appealing to newcomers - What if the villain decided to turn one of the islands into a nuclear waste dump!
>GENIUS!
>But he isn't actually gonna die right?
>Nah, we will give him chemo at the end and he is the Dragon of Dojima so of course he will live
>But we have to spend 50% of the game playing as Kiryu so he can reminisce about his glorious past and everyone you know is getting a cameo!
>Because Kiryu fighting with himself and not being sure if he still wants to keep moving forward has been a conflict for this guy since forever
i hate chitose's Black person hair
same, good thing she gets rid of it towards the end of the game
Wtf... on the last chapter with Ichi and I want to craft Enchanted Demon Slayer for the samurai, but I'm locked out of going back to Ijincho? Seriously? Really having such a sour taste in my mouth with this dumb fricking game with the split party bullshit
What's stopping you from crafting it in Hawaii?
From what I can see the prerequisite (samurai's katana) can only be found in Ijincho.
>Ive been laughing my ass off to the whole "sujimon" concept, minigame, and all of that all fricking day
simple minds are easily entertained
how's dondoko as a moneymaker? I just got the 5 star resort, was wondering how much cash you could squeeze out of the place.
terrible, dont bother
just keep playing, the economy ramp up is insane in the game, even regular fights will start giving massive amounts of money. doing optional dungeons is probably the best moneymaker in the game.
shame. was fun for a bit, then it got tedious.
Pretty sure food vendor by boats marina south map over leftside bridge gives money multiplyer bonuses from the food drink combos so go there then the dungeon and you can make way more.
Never played a Yakuza game and I just decided to play 7 because it was 80% off. One of my favorite soapland soap operas.
There's so much utterly pointless bullshit throughout the story. Remember the fake luxury clothes shit with the Barracudas? Just wtf?
That entire designer clothes plot is justified by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFrUxXw2TwA
>considers sacrificing another man’s life for his an insult
Kiryu's been like this the whole series, really. Always viewed his own life as insignificant, sacrificing his time and pleasures just so someone else might live just a bit better. The only time he wasn't like this was the Okinawa part of 3 - coincidentally, my favorite part of the series. It's the one place we see him truly happy, living a life that makes both him and the kids better off.
INKER TO THE BLINKER
For Kiryu, we got a traditional Yakuza game finale in the final chapter.
For Ichiban, we got… a lamer version of Resident Evil 4’s Island?
LEAVE EBINA TO ME!
What substories/minigames give good weapons?
I got the Sujimon bat and shogi revolver
I'm ESL. Why would I play with English dub when it's not my native language and I can with original voices?
Can you name at least a few such cases from Yakuza games?
every jap who tries to speak English in 8
OFFICER HALP IM BEEN LOVED
They speak Japanese for 99% of the game though.
And Yong Yea is shit for the entire game.
He's only shit at karaoke
He was much better than I expected.
Who the frick is asakura anyway? Is he like an actual fight youtuber?
Yep
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJZVj2iBrdvbNc416i0V-UA
I'm too used to Kiryu's JP voice.
Adachi/Akio Otsuka makes anything he's in feel so comfy.
>tfw you will never have an irl Adachi bro who will follow you into hell
I can't stop hearing Blackbeard when I hear Adachi speak
Yujiro Hanma for me.
I really like just walking around the map collectan and fightan
Are there any songs like omi headquarters fight and final tower from 7 in 8? So far most of the songs are really bad.
8 doesn't have a final dungeon like 7 does, especially not with amazing music like the one from 7.
Dungdoodoo island is trash, shame as it could be good with an update.
Its half baked which is a shame .
Go to the diy bench, sort by satisfaction, that number next to the green heart is how much satisfaction that item adds when placed on the map.
Are Gaiden and 8 written by the same person
Yes. The difference is that Gaiden got written as some form of true epilogue after 6 while 8 got written to be as marketable as possible. They came up with the idea of a game that they want and than bruteforced the writing around that
>so we want Kiryu to be playable to get all the Kiryu fans on board but how do we balance that?
>By giving him cancer that makes him so weak he basically starts as a level 1 RPG character
>okay but how did he get cancer?
Yeah but Hawaii sells better as a location than japanese redlight district a normal person has never heard of.
>Palekana Zealots
AYAYAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I didn't know kiryu becomes such a focus of the plot later on, it's kind of turned me off the game a bit. I haven't played all the yakuzas so I never felt like I got the full journey of kiryu whereas with LAD it was semi-fresh start with ichiban.
Say what you want about 6 but this theme is a banger
Just give me an Ichiban Brawler and be done with this series. Yokoyama is a hack.
So what happens next to Majima and the crew? I hope they can restart their security company
Judgechads...our time is now
I'm ready for Jogami's game
judgeGODS will rise
Did he free himself from his owners?
I need to choke on Seonhee's feet so bad it makes my head spin holy frick she is so hot
Thats where I cum anon
Literally not even that would stop me.
Would it be hotter
Someone needs to free the Judgmen/Gaiden team from Yokoyama's shit smeared hands, i don't want to see him ruin Judgment with his "writing".
Gaiden was okay what seems to be the problem
Would it?
>first fight
>cant wait to hear "CHECK THIS OUT" or "CMON NOW"
>ichiban doesnt say that anymore
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Eh I still prefer new battle quotes over Kiryu still having the same ones from 6 in gaiden
Joongi no longer says Watashi no ban tbh ne. There is no reason to use him
>unlock the bikinis for all the women
>they all have the same body
It's a nice body but still a little disappointing.
A-A-A-ALLRIGHT LETSGOLETSGO
The barmaid at resolve is boner
killer, because it's kson (vtuber cringe) who got really pissy because they wouldn't let her character take Akane's role in Gaiden
I dont know what you said but I know everytime I walk in there I pop a boner
>initially just ichiban being insane
>except the sujimon professor sees them too, ok both are insane
>there's an entire underground bum-fighting ring centered around sujimon in america
i...no, this is a real thing. sujimon are real and very few people can see the world for how it truly is.
>now kiryu sees them, too
the frick, is this an homage to They Live now?
WORK IT FIX IT ROCK
Remember that fake rumor that there'll be Watase game set in the 90s and Yokoyama directly addressed it and said that nah, it would be dumb?
please just get me away from yokohama and kamurocho already, i'm sick of those maps
Just expand the maps from 5, I can't believe they never reused any of them.
>let's himself get beaten up by some homosexual in the crowd for no other reason that to prove "violence bad"
The guy’s trying to provoke him into violence while being recorded to show his “true colors”. Turning the other cheek resulted in embarassing the butthole.
The story has plenty of issues but this isn’t one of them.
Last nights patch says it fixed the job stat issue.
i still can't wrap my head around why they picked yongyea of all dudes for the voice of kiryu fricking kazuma. debra wilson could give both a better performance AND not sound as off-character as yongyea.
>tfw using dragon's resurgence
>it overrides whatever music is playing
kino
It's pretty jarring seeing everyone referring to Kiryu as Kiryu after Gaiden.
i'm really starting to get pissed off at the fact that i played gaiden. ah yes here's kiryu's FOR REAL big send-off for the last time we swear (he's going to appear in 8 and everything in Gaiden is effectively meaningless aside from the two or three scenes he has with hanawa), aw whoops we didn't send him off here either guess we just don't know how to stop bringing kiryu back. frick it, let's give him cancer. that'll stop him someday.
>Hanawa, built up in Gaiden, is a nothing character and dies after a few scenes
>Convenient thing after convenient thing keeps happening to push the plot forward. (No one noticed someone recording the conversation with Daigo even though four people were standing outside.)
>Life links went from interesting to infuriating as you watch characters like Nakajima, Komaki, and the Hiroshima boys get cucked out of knowing Kiryu is alive but a random fricking girl from a substory in 6 does, and the hostess from (Kiwami) 2
>Jumping from Ichiban to Kiryu constantly is extremely jarring because of how much more side content Ichi has at hawaii
>Daidodji turn into even bigger jobbers
>Life Links don't even go anywhere, by the end Kiryu is back at square one of being on the Daidodji leash until the ending
>2nd game in the rpg format and party members are still absent from substories and action sequences
>Komaki
>get cucked out of knowing Kiryu is alive
Huh?
I think Komaki was one of the normal memoirs instead of the life links, so maybe he's just an idiot and didn't get them all
>Life links went from interesting to infuriating as you watch characters like Nakajima, Komaki, and the Hiroshima boys get cucked out of knowing Kiryu is alive but a random fricking girl from a substory in 6 does, and the hostess from (Kiwami) 2
> The game states that the video showing that Kiryu is alive became super popular
>None of the life links except Nakajima actually bring it up
Where do I buy Nanba's weapons in Hawaii?
Press square on all the shops for extra info, it tells you which jobs the store carries weapons for.
Yeah, and I'm not seeing anything for homeless guy. Not even in 6* shop.
I upgrade my weapons brand them and strengthen them 40+ lol
homeless guy stuff is with cleaning supplies, it's the large drug store in Ijincho on one of the main thoroughfares.
>Hey man, can we get you back to voice Akiyama?
>Only if he gets to punch Kiryu in the face without him retaliating
Seriously, why the frick did they cuck Kiryu so hard? Everyone saying he's not effeminated or whatever in this game but he just acts like some defenseless homosexual that NEEDS constant help from others to get anything done and on top of that they just made him act completely out of character at the end crying and sobbing like a b***h over some absolute nobody he had no relation to whatsoever.
>Eiga inquiring about Kiryu as "The Dragon of Dojima" after he gets kidnapped by Iyami (I forgot the crowbar guy's name so I'm going to refer to him as the guy from Osomatsu)
Eiga was filming Ichiban VS. Tomizawa to frame him for beating up an American citizen, huh. He was also probably the jerk that framed Ichiban in the first place OH MY GOD don't tell me he's the fricking vtuber
>Eiga
eiji*
Mada mada tsuyoku naru soda
there another thread I'm missing?
so its pretty much impossible to get level 70 without the dlc huh? thanks sega
>Kiryu's cheers during Saeko's new song
jej
>Adachi says 待たせたな
>not translated to "Kept you waiting, huh?"
They had one job.
Why did they nerf our boy Joongi so much, bros?
much like Zhao he has no role in the story whatsoever so it would be silly if he stole he show in gameplay
I mean he didn't really have a role in the story of 7 besides being Seonhee's buttslave either.
I admit it's been a while since I played but why does everyone seethe about 4?Besides of course rubber bullets I mean.
