You people get too worked up over genwars. The gens each have their ups and downs, but can still be enjoyed. Some people treat certain gens the same way Sonic fans treat Sonic 06. Even if you think some gens are worse than others, the reality is that they're all of at least decent quality.
True but gen 8 is officially irrelevant because gen 9 is out and since I didn’t fomo buy gen 8 on release I don’t have to go back to play it because anon already did that for me 🙂

Sadly, most of these "people" have no standards and are wiling to even defend very obvious flaws these games have. I expect Gen 10 to have even less content than Gen 9 which was already barebones as is.
Acknowledging that even the worst gens have their good parts doesn't equate to blind worship and CONSOOMING, but hyperbole gets more attention.

I mean, Pokemon's quality dropped, yeah. But I feel like most judge it harshly as a game in its own right because they only have experience with pokemon.
I think what I hate about gen wars is most of the shit people say can be applied to any generation. That said, there is an undeniable drop in quality in the last few games, I mean look at how BDSP and SV dropped, like what the frick.

I like every gen except gen 6. Gen 7 is kino and underrated. It's a great gen. Gen 8 and 9 are overhated. Definitely enjoyable
