This game's coming out in 2 weeks, I downright guarantee you that there are no changes they can make that will solve the visual issues this game has before then. They can calm down on the FXAA to remove some blur, but if you think anyone at SE are re-doing textures or changing lighting in 2 weeks you are actually out of your mind.

Oh, yeah now that you mention it I do remember that. Fricking hell I remember seeing a ton of threads about how they were totally going to fix it before launch. Then they were going to fix it with a day-1 patch, then it was going to get patched in [2 MORE WEEKS].
And to this day the game is fundamentally broken.

This. In a big company like SE who takes 5-10 years per game, this type of fix won't reach trunk in 2 weeks, much less be ready for production. I've worked on software before and even in a medium-sized company, changes of this scale have a pretty long lifecycle they need to go through before they reach the user. They might be able to fix some of about a month after release, but by then word of mouth will be out, memes made and it'll be too late.
