Just gonna drop into this thread and talk about my experience with the franchise over the years >Started with yellow but never finished it due to getting lost in it as a 4 year old kid >First game I finished was gold >Almost dropped Diamond because of how slow it was >BW was my favorite pokemon game partly due to how great the ghost and bug selection was, dropped the franchise after W2 because I felt satisfied with it and saw the series plateau with gen 5 barely improving upon gen 4 >Suspicion was confirmed when gen 6 started adding gimmicks like Mega, knew the game itself wasn't going to get better since gamefreak loves putting features in one generation and removing them the next like with day/night and berries getting really fricking tedious to get in BW >fastforward a few more years of being right I decided to finally get back into the series with Legends >had a great time
