And what does he think about it?
who
One of the original D&D group. Played a wizard called Drawmij, creator of various spells bearing his name like Drawmij's Instant Summons. Created a bunch of early D&D stuff, contributed to books, and like all the original crew, shaped the hobby by his presence and desire to see it happen.
He might not get a sticky, but I'll certainly pour one out for him as soon as my bottle of good drink appears in my hand. Any second now... C'mon, instant summons...
>Jim Ward
>Drawmij
wow
so this the power of the boomer OG D&D... such creativity, such marvelous invention, such serendipitous exhibition of limitless imagination... I kneel, I KNEEL........
Anon are you saying Drawmij doesn't deserve to stand beside the likes of Melf and Tenser?
Of course you kneel, homosexual.
>ERM, so you're saying the boomers who invented an entirely new hobby WEREN'T as creative as me naming my troony elf T'negrididi Smellwind
Kys
F
Creator of Metamorphosis Alpha and Gamma World
So that's what this
was about.
Total Grognard Death soon lads
Can't take it to 0 when you're on the inevitable track to being a +1.
Good riddance if only the entire hobby could die as well
>Hurrhurr I hate everything! Am I cool yet gaiz?
fricking antis...they deserve a school shooting.
Good riddance to another gigachud.
>You came here to post this
Lmao, what a loser
>He says while posting on a board about "traditional games"
What do you with your free time, anon, aside from posting on sites dedicated to hobbies you disdain? And just out of curiosity, just how big a chunk of someone's time do you imagine RPGs take? I'm asking because you seem to think that playing RPGs is mutually exclusive with "going outside to the real world", so I assume you have something more time-consuming than the typical weekly game in mind.
>America will be a better country the day you get off your asses and go outside to the real world
>t. Some welfare baby living in his mom's basement.
RIP. Falling like flies now. Sad, but I guess this era has to end too.
They are dying at the same time the game is. Kind of kino when you think about it. I wish we could have kept DnD from going to shit for a few more years, just so that they could have lived out their years without having to witness their creation going to shit. Is Drawmijj even in 5e? Or did they replace all his spells with that arab homosexual they randomly shoved in? It's probably cause he was Greyhawk, not Faerun, but that didn't stop them with Mordenkainen. These fricking talentless vultures just shove in whatever they can based on name recognition. Old DnD had a sort of charm to it, in the amateurish names and such. Now they produce soulless corporate slop and retreads of old adventures. One, maybe two of the new adventures is any good. The game has been colonized by critters and freakshitters (with nearly 100 percent overlap). Rest in peace to Jim Ward, and I hope, if he is watching over us now, he doesn't judge us too harshly for letting the wonderful creation he had a hand in making be saturated with subhumans and talentless homosexualry, all through our own collective inaction.
How do I get in contact with the OG creators of the hobby before they all die? I'd love to talk to them and listen/read about their point of view before they exit.
Can meet whoever is left at Garycon
nice, I'm sure nobody has ever thought about asking this question to them! they'll certainly be very happy to repeat the same bs they said over and over and over for the thousandth times to another smelly dorky smartass lmaoooo
Dragonsfoot forums often have Q/A with the authors. They Archive the pages when the author dies. Search for Col_Pladoh for an example.
>Jim Ward is dead
F
God dammit, it was supposed to be an April Fool's Day spell! Which one of y'all actually cast it?
Fricking level 8 wizards man
It's an old D&D spell so the magic-user had to be level 16 or 18 to cast it.
Rest in Peace. Another legend bite the dust. I just pray that the current generation gets people of the caliber of the ones passing away.
You zoomers don't even know him! Besides he probably gawk at the current state of this board.
He also had a hand in the creation of the DBZ Card Game that my friends all used to play back in high school.

RIP
Rest in peace man.
