My daughter and I used to sing that while we were driving, she just kind of devoid we weren't singing in unison and took the female vocals part. It was cute.
banger, thinking of playing the game again mostly vanilla but with some weapon packs and RWD. I was maybe even thinking of adding in real drug visuals and i'll play a crackhead
Reminder that every faction choice is midwit-tier carricature and the only people who give this game a legacy of having some sort of deep story and thought provoking decisions are 99/100 times communist/fascist/nazi/ancom/ancap looser-larpers. Just look:
>NCR
Oh wow, "America is okay, but its imperialist expansion makes it unstable and it creates chaos in places", fricking amazing and groundbreaking analysis there my friend, join the line of literally everyone else left-of-centre during the Bush years. Pretty sure even the average DSA member could come up with more original representation of liberal imperialism. >Legion
A dogshit one dimentional faction so bad that Gaius von Baelsar, the saturday morning cartoon villain of FF XIV manages to make his goals seem less blatantly evil and stupid while retaining the Roman larp. Still probably the most genious faction because of the comedic value that is Kaisar, the most accurate representation of your average Gankerposter midwit who makes up hilarious and stupid ideologies by bastardizing philosophies. >House
Thr redditor faction. Enough said. >Yesman
The "insert your own ending here because we are too lazy" choice. Literally only ever defended by dumb ancaps and ancoms who think the strip will become their utopian NAP/mutual aid paradise
>Reminder that every faction choice is midwit-tier carricature
The game is supposed to be fun, not a profound analysis on ideologies. The fun comes from the player inserting their ego/character into scenarios.
Legion, House, and Yesman are only stupid because there is not enough manpower and the Legion is gimped by not having a reasonable military standard. Looking pasts these flaws they make for interesting competition.
My larger point is not that they are that much stupid, as they aren't that interesting. To me they'd seem like something you see as a one off planetary conflict in KOTOR, but not as something you base all your game around. Again, I didn't say necesarily bad. It's competant, but not a special story, which is why I am weirded out by the cult status of the game.
Holy shit you're moronic. Victor extracted you from the tomb so Securitrons can at least dig. It's safe to assume they can also assist human workers to build things.
>because there is not enough manpower
There is. Novac, Westside, East Vegas, North Vegas, Primm, Freeside, all places where you can get your manpower. And House and Yes Man have no need to use part of it to sustain a military force due to the Securitron army.
The conclusion? You're pretty stupid.
I just write my own ending with Yes man. I write, after stabilizing the land the hero would use tech form Big Mountain and Sierra Madre to defend New Vegas. Basically becoming the new immoral ruler of New Vegas with the same tech. If anyone has a problem with that, just nuke um.

To quote Hbomberguy, an ancom larper extrodinaire: >WOAAAH the game so good because I can only redirect the water to the city slickers or the NCR chucks but not both >I don't know what is the right choice, this is the best written game ever, so morally gray, WOAAAH!
This should tell enough both about the "heights" of the games writting AND the sort of people that give it a legacy.
Though I have to admit. The music stuck in my head. I got Big Irons by the number, Johny by the sole, each day larpers love this game, each day I hate it more...
I cemented my opinion long ago. I only watched that dogshit "NV is genious" video as a personal challange. Then I got confused how story was practically never mentioned and all arguments were just basedfacing over forgetable dungeons and pretending that having the (unrealistic) option to skip the intended path to the strip suddenly makes the game genious.
That was me parodying the amazing song heartaches by the number...
Anyway, far more larpers I've seen over the years on this site (and another site that rhymes with heaftypol), and almost without fail it boils down to people ignoring the (average) writting and instead just playing personal defence force for their faction, which they chose almost always because of their own hyperonline political views.
Because that's the main thing with NV. Its's just FO3, but with a more competant dungeon/level design, and the shitty personal story getting replaced with competant but bland political story, which only has the novelty value of that being pretty rare, and the fact that you will have a bunch of gamers, who most likely have a good chance of possesing funky heterodox political views, attaching more value and meaning than there is to these underdesigned or basic factions.
Honestly at this point, it's hard to pick anyone other than House, I can't betray my homie Odo like that. >New Vegas is in an alternate timeline where the Ferengi get home from the 40s but accidentally leave Odo behind, who thanks to being ageless blends into society, falls in love with oldschool Vegas, and becomes the man known as Robert House

Any other mod ideas ?
Where do you even start with modding NV in 2022?
Viva new vegas
with the mod manager for one, otherwise shit isn't going to work.
I like GamerPoets video on modding NV.
Sunny should have been the cowgirl companion instead of Cass
Sunny is needed at Goodsprings. While Cass isn't needed anywhere.
>Cass isn't needed
Truer words have never been said
I want a new game not to replay this shit
Why can't there be a Cruelty Squad low fi Bethesda Game by non-bethesda devs

Post your examples of original and interesting factions in RPGs now.
>House, and Yesman are only stupid because there is not enough manpower
That's what the robot army is for
A robot isn't a man, you stupid fricking moron.

why don't you write an entire questline if it's so easy you fricking homosexual
I could write a better questline than those clowns, for sure. There's no need to seethe, b***h.
Do it then.
No, I'm scared.
can you kill everyone in NCR?
>why is it an unfinished game
Vegas size was a clue, that their ambitions were too great.
Not to mention classic obsidian problem.

you just said each day you hate the game more because of youtube larpers. that's letting youtubers influence your opinion.

Finally got it on PC, and my only interest is in weapon mods. I'm looking for period accurate guns, and lore guns from Fallout 1 and 2. Suggestions?

You did get all the gold right? You didn't actually 'let go' did you?
Of course not. Figuring out how to abuse game engine physics to get away with all the gold was the most satisfying thing in this game.
You may as well player.additem f 99999 at that point
"Let go" of what? Money that I already have way too much of?
Got as much as I felt like grabbing, abused repair kits to become a self-made man well before hand.
Where do people live in Primm? It’s literally two trashed casinos and some ruined buildings
