It's more that Vinny made fun of the bugs and performance issues. I don't think the graphics bothered him much, he played through the entirety of the Legends Arceus main game, for example.
Yeah, Vinny explicitly got into the game because he heard that it was a buggy disaster with constant glitches, which is right up his alley. But SV's performance problems usually aren't the fun kind.
This, it's funny how i can play the most degenerate garbage out there but i still feel weird when the narrative pushes school or teenager shit into the game like persona.
It's fine in persona because the high-school setting is basically just a backdrop for what might as well be adult characters to interact in. It's shit in SV because it never stops being about children and manchildren attending an academy with preschool-tier lessons. School settings only work if you can basically just pretend the characters are adults and ignore the school.

I see the only Persona game you've played is 5.
persona 3 is literally just a bunch of teenagers and you play as a 16 year old that can date other 16 year olds or meet an online friend that falls for you who turns out to be your teacher
Mitsuru is an adult in every way except her age being listed as 17 instead of 18. Change literally that and nothing else and you got a pure adult dommy mommy.

that's what most anime characters are anyways, but still teenagers
They weren't enjoying them.
Joel disliked how SWSH was still same old Pokemon but more boring, despite appearances. Ironically, he might have enjoyed PLA or SV a little more, but he doesn't want to play anything other than Infinite Fusion now.
Vinny tried to find some enjoyment in SV, because he did like the open world aspect, but he pretty much hated everything else about it. He liked PLA more, but even then he couldn't be assed to play the post-game and you could tell he was getting bored of it by the end of the main story.
One of the first streams of his that I watched was the X stream and even then he was kind of just playing it just to play it. I knew it was over for the streams as soon as he nope'd out of LGPE.
I vividly remember a few things from those streams: >He only had RB to compare with and as such he was shocked when the story took a darker turn (for a Pokemon game) >He said something along the lines of "ta-da, plot poison" for the puzzle solver being able to open a locked door and to this day I always say that at that part >I was planning on making a team with all of the favorites of the Vinesauce streamers I watched (Vinny, Joel, KY, Fred, Rev). I was younger and got hit with parasocial relationships hard. I was even gonna trade Joel a shiny Lanturn over chatango but he was like "nah man I wouldn't want to take something that rare away from someone who caught it" but now I sort of see that as a "I do not care" response, as even when they were using Chatango people would always pester them >As far as I am aware, he was indifferent or generally pleased with the games
This was like a decade ago, which is even more wild to think about.
He finished the main story, and that’s all that probably matters to him, he likely just wanted to move on to other games rather than spend tons of time completing the Pokédex and getting burnt out. I do admittedly wish that he did play the postgame as well, but it is what it is.
Vinny did 12 2+ hour long streams of Pikmin 4. Game Freak just made bad games that pizza man couldn't bring himself to finish them. His first stream of Tears of the Kingdom was longer than he spent playing Scarlet/Violet.
I put down SM because it had a cutscene every 2 seconds. Pokemon is became so plastic and over-friendly in terms of cast and characters that the increased story focus is a huge detractor. It doesn't feel like a playable shounen anime, it feels like Dora the Explorer. And the gameplay was so easy as to be effectively non-existent. A chore. As far, SV isn't hugely different but I'm not very far. I don't know if would be holding me much if I weren't playing it to practice my moonrunes.
It's exciting seeing the environment get closer to what was shown in pokemon snap but that can only go so far.
I'd wager this is also how most older (former) pokemon fans feel.
Skill issues
Because they're normal people with no foot fetish
Newer games just aren't as fun for them
>Pokémon Fusion still getting streams due to it being Kanto
they're fricking boring. I can't even get past sword and Shield because I got so fricking bored
vinny said he couldnt get into the school thing since hes almost 40, and the graphics were bad
It's more that Vinny made fun of the bugs and performance issues. I don't think the graphics bothered him much, he played through the entirety of the Legends Arceus main game, for example.
The bugs aren't even bad. The worst things are the fps and the outdated graphics
Yeah, Vinny explicitly got into the game because he heard that it was a buggy disaster with constant glitches, which is right up his alley. But SV's performance problems usually aren't the fun kind.
SV doesn't have the enjoyable kind of jank and bugs that Skyrim has

Persona is fine since they make everyone look and act college aged anyway so they're tolerable to adults.

Are you uncomfortable with school shit because you get a boner when staring at children?

You are full of shit with Joel, he said he liked it but his chat was giving him so much shit about playing them that he stopped.
because the switch games are dogshit. you don’t need to make the same thread 3 times to realize that
>more eceleb cancer
Can you blame /vp/? The games are so bad and boring most people rather shitpost on Ganker than suffer through Switch mons.
>Can you blame /vp/?
Yeah
Because there's really not that many moments to meme about
Why repost?
Or was I seeing an illusion?
Can I see a future now?
I swear replies were different
op has spammed this thread 3 times now
OP is a b***h
I haven't slept normally in five days I'm actually going insane and your reposts with same words are not doing me a favor
Don't believe him!
This is real!
We would not lie to yooooooouuuuu!
Some schizoid narcoleptic has a melty and that’s our problem now?
Vinny is based and doesn’t like modern Pokémon. I don’t trust anyone who does like it, quite frankly.
One of the first streams of his that I watched was the X stream and even then he was kind of just playing it just to play it. I knew it was over for the streams as soon as he nope'd out of LGPE.
X and Y were terrible too, so I can’t blame him. I wouldn’t have finished X either if my girlfriend at the time wasn’t begging me to.
I vividly remember a few things from those streams:
>He only had RB to compare with and as such he was shocked when the story took a darker turn (for a Pokemon game)

Nah he's cringe, he intentionally likes bad shit.
Meanwhile he's played and finished Pokemon Moon and genuinely enjoyed it.
>Didn't fight Volo
>Didn't fight Arceus
Nope. Didnt finish.
>b-but muh irelevant postgame
he saw the credits.
he beat the game.
cry about it.
He went as far as to play the miniscule post-game of Pokemon Moon excluding the Battle Tree. If he really enjoyed PLA he would have played more of it.
Sure, but it's a shame he never fought Volo.
He finished the main story, and that’s all that probably matters to him, he likely just wanted to move on to other games rather than spend tons of time completing the Pokédex and getting burnt out. I do admittedly wish that he did play the postgame as well, but it is what it is.
>didn’t play the battle tree
>didn’t complete the regional dex
he didn’t finish the game
I was so burned out for completing the dex to fight Arceus that i recommended all my friends that had the game to no do it, it was not worthy
He liked Moon
>meanwhile Vinny completed PLA
the problem isnt modern pokemon games, it's sv being a dogshit game specifically
>Why do people stop playing bad games
Gee I wonder...
Because it's a bad game.
Who? Just kidding, don't care.
Werster beat those games in a few hours
yea but hes autistic
speedrunners are not indicative of a person who normally plays a video game
Werster plays normally for his first run though.
>expecting middle age streamers to beat modern games that are longer than 15 hours
They just don't have it in them.
Vinny did 12 2+ hour long streams of Pikmin 4. Game Freak just made bad games that pizza man couldn't bring himself to finish them. His first stream of Tears of the Kingdom was longer than he spent playing Scarlet/Violet.
Yet no one watched it in comparison, I wonder why
>joel
>vinny
You’re not on a first name basis with these people. They are not your friends and they don’t know you. Get real friends.
their channels are literally called "vinesauce joel" and "vinesauce vinny" what tf else you wanna call them??

>Vinny only finished Gen 1, 6, and 7
Which GBA and NDS games would he enjoy?
