They're obviously including all Kanto Pokemon and all Pokemon related to Kanto Pokemon. If Johto were to have an expanded dex, it would include stuff like Vileplume, Chansey, Porygon z, Electrvire, Magmortar, Honchrow, etc.

The week Diamond came out, I played real slowly specifically so I wouldn't get too far before Friday came around so I could catch Drifloon
I had both. Drifblimp is good at taking hits and Staraptor is has great moveset and power.

the first time through I do this but on replays I like to mix it up, helps me blur the lines & not be a genwargay

I love this line. 3rd favorite bird line. Which I'd consider good because I really love most of the regional birds designs.
