Man, reading all these posts makes me so much more hesitant to use any more contracts. I was kind of on the fence about continuing to roll after getting my first event Dante, but now I feel like I should just spend the memory crystals for his 2 star, spend a fancy key for his 5th room, and peace out.
I had 300 contracts saved and he came home in less than 100... I'm *almost* disappointed I didn't get to roll more so I could get more fragments for all my SRs (that are mostly sitting at 2 stars). I feel like I should just hold back and then be loaded for whatever events are next. I'm not one to have any form of gambling addiction, but I'm really, really trying not to scratch that itch to roll more. It'll be worth it later, right?

I'm legitimately scared for the day that it's impossible to find an active guild. Luckily I'm in Nu:Anons and another one that was created the instant guilds were released, so they've been active, but it's going to suck so hard when we can't get the weekly contract anymore.
At least inactive friends don't punish us with less rewards - you can collect friend points regardless and scratch your gacha itch every day. Maybe I'm a big dumb dumb, but I love getting to roll once a day and slowly but surely get lower units to max stars. It's my hoarder brain.
The guild I'm in is level 9 and active. I think there's a lot of failing/inactive guilds because a good chunk of players jumped on the chance of making their own so now they clog up the guild list. They should take a note from Shining Nikki and implement a system that culls these guilds.

I do play Touken Ranbu though, even if events are shit I enjoy my sword boys. I guess I just like raising units and being able to use them, yeah. (I didn't enjoy Nu:C because of the events too btw)
I used to be a i-Chu player for the original game and ranked in almost all events for one extra copy, going hard in Re:Berserk events. Also I played wienertail Prince and Banyaro, while both had some shit behind them, I enjoyed them and ranked high on events I wanted too. Hell, I even play RomaSaga and FEH because it has characters I'm attached to.

My units are still too weak to take on fireworks 3. Fireworks 2 ground my gears when I sneezed at the wrong time and killed everyone with a misclick so I had to do it again.
I forgot these fireworks stages don't give points so just using your strongest units will break them for three star clears, but a strong healer is still needed for the third stage.
how the hyuck do you beat fireworks 3. You're supposed to fight after they both hit themselves right? I just can't sustain surviving their AOE barrages after being hit several times in between
Bring your best healer, strongest units and/or SR Morvay too since that stage doesn't give points. Aim to take down Edmond first because of his nasty ult. Defend all at every 6, 8, 11, 13 etc. When their hp hits a certain low %, they'll put an attack buff so you gotta watch your turn number to defend/heal whenever necessary.

I think Morvay is a pretty cool guy. Eh defends and doesn’t afraid of anything. He took those punishing hits like a champ. As for the ult patterns, I think it’s every 5 turns after turn 6 for Edmond and after turn 8 for Dante.

I'm getting tired of my Yakumo team apologizing all the time that I had to mute the voices. Only the prospect of a new Sorcerer's Trials keeps me going at this rate.

That and olivine's HUAAAH are really bad, esp when you're running dupes. Most of the usual attackers have ok variation, but morvay's kinda running my patience thin too at this point. It's a shame. They're ok lads otherwise.
One of the reasons I dropped NC is that the battling part of the game has such low productions values. I'm not asking for fully animated 2D sprites with a gorillion voice lines like FGO has, but the attack animation in NC is just the character's portrait slamming into the enemy sprite. That looks extremely cheap. Not to mention there's no variety in the animations/effects and the reused voice lines.
Couldn't they have made some chibi models at least?
Seeing posts like this just makes me hope they put up a survey sooner rather than later. It'd be a good way to keep people engaged and, since they do seem somewhat responsive to suggestions, it could only make the game better in the future

That's the main reason why I haven't lost all hope in nu:c. Pinkcore seems to be pretty receptive to feedback, sometimes maybe a little too receptive. There are some downright bad suggestions coming from mainly the western fujos that I hope they ignore.

Tbf though there are canon story reasons why Hiiro couldn’t be in something like this. Hopefully they resolve it sooner than later so that it can change. The song wasn’t great but I actually liked seeing Hiiro look cute but yeah I would have liked something cool and tasty like this, but it’s just not possible with his feelings at this point of the timeline.
Yeah I understand why he isn’t included in this type of lineup but his shuffle’s song and outfits were so bad it perpetually makes me seethe. Especially since I like almost every other shuffle so far. The card was adorable at least. I think HE prefers him with a bright and cute-ish image based off his card illustrations but his athleticism is really hot to me so I hope in due time they let his image grow.
Honestly I don’t know what exactly HE wants from Hiiro, they seem to go all over the place with him. He has a lot of cute cards but he also had a lot of cool ones like his early 5*s. Hopefully they’re setting up a tour or future shuffle where he lets go of his averse to skin and we get a super masculine and sexy shirtless card from him and then things just go up from there.

Hah, not wrong at all. To be fair though, Hajime is bit of tsundere to Subaru compared to other seniors like Nazuna or his tea club seniors.
Subaru and Hiiro have a good relationship from what little interactions they have, so it could actually be a great story.
I think they try give him two images. His naïvety about literally everything leads to making him cute since he’s experiencing a lot of basic things for the first time + his side when performing on stage as a refreshing/earnest rookie idol. Like his Initial 5* bloomed. So I guess there’s no room to squeeze in a masculine and cool side? Motor Show was pretty cool though.
And yes I’d pay for more Subaru and Hiiro, especially if its him helping the latter grow. For being the two faces of each era they don’t interact as much as you’d expect.
Yeah I think he’s just naturally a kind and earnest person so it makes sense, Motor Show is one thing but a lot of gacha does make him cool, even though it’s basically no canon by their nature. But if he’s center for Alkaloid song this time then I think we’ll see him in a cool side again.

Bring your strongest units. Focus attacking the little girl. She leaves when you drop her hp to 50%. Save your ults until she asks you to play with her/paralyzed tree and then use it. Check your battle stats when it’s you vs the tree and defend when necessary to remove debuffs on affected units. Only attack it with ults when it becomes depressed enough to lower its guard to take in much damage. Repeat for a very wow victory.

Rejoice, NuCitizens. Chapter 10 part 2 will be available after September 1's update. Also, it seems like they're fixing a major oopsie on SSR Blazing Coliseum Dante and SR Sun Lord Dante's ascension materials on September 15's maint.
They're also adding more deeds for different contract accumulations.
I had no idea Dante's acension was even nerfed for this long. Guess I'm missing out on not needing crystal cores.
Also I am always filled with rage by how cluttered the update notice is with paid pack information. It's really unnecessary to include all the details every time and put it all right in the middle of actual gameplay information.
Maybe that's the real reason why it took so long for Dante's units to be released again. It's interesting how much detail they gave for his eventual ascension rehaul that'll be more than two weeks from now. I'm gonna be missing out on some sweet weekly gem rewards since I don't have new units to gift. My SR Blade's stuck at 1* still. I skipped the part about the contract rewards cuz it's probs just additional icing to the cake. I'd say the pack info needs to be placed at the very end which how much stuff they put in there.

I think it's great. You gotta be lucky or have enough $$ to get SSRs and then you gotta feed them well to get something good outta them so you can get their hscenes, additional character background info, and make them useful in fights. For SRs, you just gotta be patient in collecting their pieces to raise them well.

I've been revisiting the main story hscenes and I still laugh over these descriptions. I forgot about the new SSR I got, so finally seeing Dante's hscene made me appreciate Eiden's bawdtiness all over again.
Sorcerer's Trials Season 3 coming right after September 8's update along with another treasure hunt event, and finally Quincy's birthday on September 14 followes by another maint on the 15th. I guess the real event will start on the 15th?
Anyway, I maxed out the open intimacy rooms of every unit I have and waited for a new week today to check if there will be new requirements for the intimacy deeds, but sadly there's no change at all.
That means one will be missing out on spirit gems like so:
[200] from giving 200 intimacy gifts monthly
[800] from giving 500 intimacy gifts monthly
[400] from giving 100 intimacy gifts weekly
= [1.7k] gems lost
So there should be a strict 100 intimacy gifting per week so one wouldn't run out of intimacy rooms and rewards. If that happens, either a sacrifice of one elemental key or memory crystals to open the 2nd-4th intimacy rooms of an SSR unit would be needed. It sucks that one will be missing out on those gem rewards.
I've been scared of the leveling up 2x characters reward disappearing so I just level 2 times per day and no more, the intimacy thing never occurred to me though. You must have fewer SSR than the devs expected?
Day 2 player here, as you can see I only got SSR Idol Olivine & Fireworks Dante out of all event units, plus I'm missing 3* SR Blade, Quincy, and no SR Dante.

Well, as long as one gives 6x of the lowest intimacy gift per day, they'll make it through the weekly and monthly intimacy rewards. That is if one has created a well-established team. ymmv. Of course, a 3* SSR can also be a good choice for feeding intimacy gifts as the last room feels like it'll take forever with the lowest gift.

I'm the anon who told you about it. If that's the case then either the devs lied or it's a bug, hopefully the latter. I found someone mentioning the change to the deeds on reddit in april, so it seems it was said in a notice before zest for life.
I checked out archive.org for the past notices and reddit. The old update notice that mentioned the deed changes is from April 4th for the update on April 7th.

That would be messed up ah. I don't have any SSR at 3*. All my Rs are at max intimacy. Except for 2* SR Quincy and 1* Blade, my SRs are max intimacy too.

The notice should've been more specific about the intimacy stuff. And then there's that max level thing to worry about, but I guess that's small potatoes compared to the intimacy rewards one can lose out on. I guess I'll wait until I could get enough memory crystals to open up Firework Dante's rooms.
The leveling up rewards give out energy potions. They’re not a minor thing at all, but you’re right that it’s much more manageable because there’s R and N units as backups while it’s a matter of luck rolling for the right units. I’ve been playing for so long and I still have my SR Yakumo stuck at 2* ffs. otoh, players are forced to level up SR units if they’re part of an event’s multiplier so that can be useful in fights.

I think it only makes sense that the deeds change when all allies have completely maxed intimacy rooms.
If it was only "open" intimacy rooms, then it would be weird to be working on a deed that week for different requirements, then a player ascends a character ("opening" a new intimacy room to give gifts), and suddenly the deed requirements change back? How would that even work?
The only bit of confusion I have is if the deed doesn't change until you've rolled every single character (including limited event characters). That would essentially make it impossible for anyone to get the new deed requirements. But it would also be awkward to have all characters maxed, have the new deeds, then a player rolls for a new limited character, and the deed suddenly switches back again. Would progress on the deed be lost? I don't know how they'll handle that.
Hopefully that makes sense. I'm tired.
NuAnons, we'll be level 10 in a few days. Once we level up for the final time, we'll get 180 gems for 100 dewlets in the guild shop after daily reset. Check the guild shop after the daily reset happens once we're level 10. Don't be like me who opened the guild shop a few points before it hit level 7 after daily reset, which meant I had to wait another day for the new gem batch to appear.
I'll wait after next week's maint to roll for new event units. I still don't understand why the intimacy deeds didn't change despite maxing out all available rooms.

Now that you mention it, every character who has had a birthday pass (minus Morvay) had an event SSR run almost concurrently. Edmond in March with White Day, Kuya in May with Mystical Banquet, Dante in August with Chase the Rainbow, and now Quincy in September with this new one.
Yeah. What if they finally put Morvay in this event with Quincy to complete the top/bottom set? Since Olivine's bday is on October maybe they'll pair him with Kuya while it's Garu and Aster on November? Meanwhile Yakumo will be celebrating his bday on December and who knows who they'll pair him with. Of course, it's just wishful thinking on my part for Morvay to finally have his SSR event debut this month and shake up some different character configuration interactions.

It’s been a few months but it was pretty good when I tried it out. Some depth to the battle system with options to set up follow ups, breaks, etc. Dunno about story or anything though. If you’re asking about male cast, well, it’s hyv so chances are there’ll be a few decent ones massively outnumbered by waifus and that the guys will generally be much weaker gameplaywise

Sounds familiar. Quincy sleeps a lot even during the day, doesn't like being disturbed, must have great hearing since it's nearly impossible to get near him without being noticed and he prefers to be alone (Topper being the only constant exception).

The Y shape the great horned owl has by tracing from it's horns to it's beak is similar to what's in Quincy's necklace, so there's that too. Even if there isn't a humanoid owl yokai, they may explain Quincy's human form with being a clan member, in fact now that I think about it, wasn't it said that Yakumo's ancestor gained the ability to transform into human after becoming a clan member or something like that? I feel like I read that.

I think you're right about Yakumo's ancestor being able to shapeshift (to human at least) I think it was in one of his SR cards (or maybe his standard SSR?) when he was taking Eiden to a site that was important to his ancestors that Yakumo talked about it. I think (though I very much could be wrong) that Yakumo talked about how he, too, took human form before his adoptive grandparents took him in, so maybe that sort of thing isn't really uncommon for the clan members (or, at least, the non-human ones)
You're welcome, though I only did it because Quincy is one of my faves. Yeah, being a clan member can even be used as an excuse for Yakumo to have arms and legs despite being a snake, same with Quincy if he's an owl.

Gosh. Trial 50 is an HP, DPS, and healing check. I don't have enough stars or firepower for my SR Yakumo and my strikers. Raising their potential isn't enough. If it weren't for those turn limits and wasting 3 turns just for dialogue I could've made it. I miss the time when you need strategy and not just brute force in this.

I just completed this stage and still needed to strategize. I needed to think when to heal and guard my card with the lowest HP. Then had to think of a way so that MB Kuya would give Edmond a bunch of poison damage before the final round so I could take him out with my strikers. There was no way with the cards I currently have raised that I would be able output 55k dmg in one turn
Take it easy. There's 52 days to go until the Sorcerer's Trials ends. I tried that stage and I failed so hard. lol My healers and attackers are in the same boat as yours. I wish you good luck on your rolls this event so you can get the units you need.

I'm the anon that wants to get the original characters instead of event ones and it's because every hard stage we get it's always recommended to use either original SRR Edmond or original SRR Quincy to beat these stages else it's much harder. I have neither. I just watched a video of a Quincy dealing 85k damage with his Ultimate. There are people saying they can deal around 110k damage and the key is always god damn Quincy.
It seems there's no event unit yet that can beat those numbers.
This last format was the only one that had all parties satisfied so I hope we can maintain it

I’m sad I can’t bring R Yakumo for the 50th floor unless I want him to die first because of his low hp. It seems like you need at least 2-3* SSRs and 4-5* SRs if you want to finish this well not to mention the high potential necessary for pumping up their stats.

Reading the intimacy deeds update... does this mean there's a weird incentive to not ascend characters and keep them at one intimacy room? I know that would mean not having very strong units, but it would also mean just getting the completion rewards instantly every week.
100% agree. It's a great feeling knowing that I'll be able to guarantee my favorite character, plus have contracts left over at this point. The only other way they can improve is to allow pity to roll over, but I don't see NuGovernment being that generous.

Is he...? I must be doing something wrong, because on my team he seems incredibly weak. I used him for the last event (to get more bonus %) and he probably did the least damage. Regular SSR Blade, Yakumo, and Quincy all seem stronger.
maybe in higher ascensions but he's definitely one of the strongest units. my ssr yakumo felt really good at first when i 2* him but now he is easily outdamaged by SR units (: part of that is due to the fact that he shouldn't guard to keep his buffs going but some stages gimmicks require you to guard to survive
Edmond's gimmick is that he's able to perform follow up attacks after his ult, and this follow up attack is affected by buffs. Like
it's more noticeable at higher ascensions, at 3*+ (maybe even 2*) he'll out DPS Yakumo in longer battles. I have him at 4* and Yakumo at 3* and I can't remember the last time I used Yakumo. Even against wood type enemies I still prefer using Edmond. It's harder to compare him to Quincy as they play different DPS roles.
I love our wife too. And I'm going to take this as the only explanation as to why they are buffing him and not, let's say, idol Blade.

They sure won't be, now they're adding limited backgrounds to packs. Most won't care, but I like collecting them and I'm salty that they're making Quincy's house a paid-only background. Just watch Moon Slate Lakeside be the best background of the event, that will be worse than they not giving the best backgrounds at all in past events.

You're not supposed to kill Garu, the only targets you're supposed to hit are the two birds and keep them from doing their ultimate (which paralyzes garu if you fail to stop them). If you do it right Kuya ends the battle and you win

Main flaws I can see are that healing would be kind of tight even if I had Hung, and the anti-air game kinda sucks outside of Thorns until we get Greyy's alt. Courier can come if you need more DP.

Isn't Greyy alt a Flinger? They can't hit aerial enemies. In the meantime if the stage is drone heavy you can use Aak with S1, but that would require healing if there are pauses between enemy waves or wait for Minimalist and/or Mlynar.
Frick, I had it in my head for some reason that he was a standard AA sniper. In that case yeah, Aak is the best choice.

Hey, sisters, is it worth it going for the event 5-star if I have a card of the same character and same attribute already?
Sure, Hiiro's yellow gacha card's not strong really, and current one is pretty, besides, different dominant stats exist (although, as I'm only playing since this spring's anniversary, I don't have a big enough 5-star collection for it to have a proper effect), but I'm hesitant since I haven't ever gone for an event 5-star even, excluding free tour ones.
Ah well, I suppose I'm likely to not go for it because of all that and because I'm cautious of whatever character I like HE will go for next, but it does feel like a shame to skip a nice-looking card.
The only thing that really matters is how much you like the card and the character. I'm an AlkaP so even if I did have the event scout Hiiro I'd still go for it. It'll end up replacing the old one in any Flash team you make just because of the stat difference if that matters, but if it influences your decision any, this event will probably get the 100-whistle discount to soften the blow to your savings if you do go for it.
How many diamonds do you have sis? Getting a 5* takes 800-900 depending on BP efficiency but like the other anon said we're probably getting 100 whistles this time too. His White Lily card is weak as hell so I'd say its worth it imo if you have currency to spare.

In any case, you could have told us earlier, because I actually ran calcs on event bonus once for a friend, and the thing is that 25% event bonus during 100-whistle events guarantees you get the 5* for basically peanuts (like <100 raw dia spent). It would be pretty dumb at this point not to go for it, since he's basically guaranteed as long as you don't shit the bed on playing actively.

Intimacy anon here. I got Moon Kuya twice and finally SR Dante after 101 rolls. It's better than last time although I was hoping to get a normal SSR Quincy with my skewed luck.
Moon Kuya's ult stacks with his normal heal bloodsucking buff. He's an alt version of SR Yakumo for aggressive attacks. Meanwhile I read that after the update, SSR Knight Edmond's ult followup is now considered a basic attack which means both his 3* passive and Fireworks Edmond's ult debuff make his basic attacks more powerful.

Nice view. Thank you for sharing your findings. Speaking of findings, they changed back SR Blade's animation to his old sedate one. They must've gotten complaints on his new bouncy animation. I'm glad we got the old animation again, I got motion sick from looking at the bouncy version. Also, this Moon event marks the first time we're getting wounded and bloodied up SSRs instead of just their usual damaged clothes.

No problem. Since he's an SSR he has higher base stats than SR Yakumo, but has a higher ult cooldown of 4 compared to Yakumo's 3 and his basic heals are 7% points lower. His 3* passive adds more atk to saboteurs and 5* strengthens healers so he's suited for a double healer team.

I just checked and Aster's bloodsucking ult buff stacks with Moon Kuya's ult and normal buff too. Pretty good if you never take Aster off the team although I'm conflicted since I like my snek healer. He's only an R unit, but he's been with me through all three seasons of the Trials.
You forgot 3 scrolls from the moonlit altar too. I liked Banquet because it had a more easy going pace since you can pick whatever prize instead of that ladder and there's no multipliers needed.

I wish. As it is, I think a good stopping point in the event ladder is at 24150 points which includes the 10 scroll bundle, bgm, and wallpaper.

My rngesus ritual went awry. When will the event banner’s desire sensor ever weaken? I rolled 80 times and got SSR Olivine, SSR Blade, plus event Quincy. The problem is I never use SSR Olivine or SSR Blade.

I don't want to be a petty F2P, but the event rewards this time suck? It's 13 contracts total and the gems don't make up for it. Currently there is also only one key, when usually there's two (I know that might change with the 2nd part of the event but...)
I'm a pretty patient person. I've played every day since day 1. I have 3 accounts so I can rotate and get my three favorites during the events. I haven't had a problem saving the 300 contracts. But this feels very backhanded from NuCarnival. They finally fixed the pity system, only to cuck us by making contracts harder to get? Do they really think the average player is going to see this event, feel good about the changes, and suddenly spend more money?
I used to laugh at people on social media who complained because they only saved 50-100 contracts and didn't get an event SSR. How the hell is an average smooth brain player going to manage now, when even dedicated players will get pissed off?

I forgot how many gems they gave out for viewing the six story stages, but yeah the rewards are pitiful this time. At this time, we can get 2950 gems from the ladder, 800 gems from the event deeds, 1k from finishing the gem altar, 1 key from the event deed, 1 key selector from the key altar. It hurt when I saw 50 gem rewards scattered throughout the ladder.

If you read these archived links, back in early July an anon who looked at the files saw new stuff added into it. One of those looks the same as Tenkafuma's Recruitment Order items which when used can rarely give out 3* (normal?) SSRs. I'm guessing that's what we're heading to in the future with the sudden drop of scroll rewards.

Something like that would be a neat addition, but absolutely useless for event units. A lot of us are also beginning to max out N and R units, even as F2Ps, so it might just become a glorified memory crystals farm. I'm also not really that interested in permanent/normal SSRs. Getting spooked by them on the event banner sucks enough. I rather just get contracts so I can hoard for the exact guy I want.

idk what NuGovernment's going to do to fix that scroll reward issue. It has been a long time since we did a survey. Looks like they'll keep testing our bottom lines with their everchanging event formats. From what I read, those guys in Tenkafuma got it tough since there's a huge power difference between the normal and event SSRs and the amount of summon tickets they'd need to save.
I was the anon who shared that file. Some more insight I can provide is that since at least May there has been a text file tied to recruitment. I didn't think much of it at first, only that perhaps the devs were too lazy to clean up old Tenkafuma files. But there was another text file that was there as well that was eventually updated when IF came out, which was a text file tied to the player leveling each event node. So, I think it's safe to say that someday, eventually, we will recruitment.
Other unused text files include a jigsaw puzzle and exploration with flavor text.

There were some people that got excited when they saw that thinking it was same as the SSR selector since it looked identical and we got only a few reward scrolls. A fancy key would be overdoing it, but I’m kinda bummed out it was only for a single normal key.
The only "good" scenario I can think of is if they add the Recruitment items and take out permanent SSRs from the event banners.
Maybe even something like,
- only event SSRs
- guaranteed event unit at 150 contracts
- event unit of your choice at 300 contracts

Boss Choco Edmond instakills you if his hp drops below 25% [57,453]. There's also his shield blocking damage if you didn't lower it from using your ults. This is where a highly invested two SR/R Quincy nuke combo would come in handy if your other units aren't up to snuff as I found out to my dismay after using most of my dosh and mats on the wrong setup team.
Regarding this discussion about this events rewards, I looked up what were the rewards for all the events and also the sorcerer trials because I think that may influence things. I'll list amount of contracts, gems, keys and points needed to get the rewards.
White Storm - 33 contracts / 5450 gems / 2 keys / 30k points
Zest For Life - 21 contracts / 4800 gems / 2 keys / 60k points
Midnight Banquet - 16 contracts / 2700 gems / 2 keys
Klein Star - 2 contracts / 2000 gems
Idol Fest - 24 contracts / 6250 gems / 3 keys / 45k points
Chase The Rainbown - 43 contracts / 5750 gems / 2 keys / 33k points
Astral Duo - 10 contracts / 3750 gems / 2 keys / 39k points
Sorcerer's Trials 1 - 21 contracts / 3750 gems
Sorcerer's Trials 2 - 22 contracts / 4500 gems
Sorcerer's Trials 3 - 22 contracts / 4500 gems
This info was found in the wiki except the deeds for WS and ZL which I found on reddit and the contracts from Trials 3 which I checked myself. If someone reached stage 60 of the trials please confirm if the amount of gems is the same as Trials 2 and also what are the rewards for the SP stage. The other info I couldn't find were the login rewards for each event, but iirc they all gave 3 contracts.
With that out of the way, while it's clear that this event gives less rewards, it's not that far from Midnight Banquet, though 1k more gems doesn't make up for 6 less contracts.
What surprised me though was that Chase the Rainbow was the most generous event so far (considering contracts and gems, Idol Fest gave much more stuff overall I think). This makes me think that a possible reason for this event having less rewards is because of how much CR gave. Depending on the reward for the SP stage of the trials that may be related too.
In conclusion, while things may look pretty bad this event, after seeing the bigger picture I think it's likely that the next event will be better.
I realized I forgot to add the gems for the story stages and the gem altar of Astral Duo, so there's 1600 more for a total of 5350 gems. So if we compare it again with Midnight Banquet we're getting 2 less contracts since the difference in gems equals a little over 4 contracts.

Something that crossed my mind is that we may get another big event like Idol Fest next for Halloween with 3 units too, but that's assuming Aster and Morvay will finally get SSRs, otherwise I'm expecting a normal event with Garu and Blade.

is correct, I forgot to convert the MB gems into contracts too for the comparison, so in the end the difference is still 6 contracts less for AD.
Funny thought, what both of those events with the lowest amount of rewards have in common is Kuya, better be wary of his next event.

Today really isn't my day, I correct one thing and get another wrong. I forgot that I only converted the difference in gems into contracts for AD, so there was no need to convert MD's gems too. Also, by adding the 3 contracts from the altars that I had forgotten it means that AD actually gives 1 more contract than MD.

Rewards for Trial 60 and SP are 150 and 60 gems respectively. And wow, didn't realize how contract heavy CTR was.
I thought they gave us that many scrolls in Chase the Rainbow to make up for that terrible time we had from Idol Fest. So many peeps left after eating that much gacha salt in Idol’s. The awful memories of that day remains when I used my scrolls and got nothing after I saved up for it.

I highly doubt that's the case. The banners are the game's main source of income, I don't think they would make split second decisions unless things got really bad financially. Any bad reception of an event will probably only affect something two or three events later.

You're right, I went to the wiki to double check and realized where I screwed up, I missed that we could exchange for the contracts 5 times with each drop. I made the same mistake with Idol Fest so add 16 contracts to both of their numbers for a total of 32 for MB and 40 for IF. Damn, Astral Duo really has the lowest amount of contracts since Zest for Life then. Let this be a lesson for everyone, don't try to do math while sleepy.

It would have been easy if it wasn't for the fact he takes 50% less damage by the time his hp drops to 200k
I spent all memory crystals to 3* Olivine, potential 6 with skill node and intimacy 4, 4* Yakumo max intimacy and potential 6 with 4 nodes, 5* Morvay max intimacy and potential 3 with 4 nodes, 4* Quincy max intimacy and potential 7 with atk nodes, 2* SSR Quincy with potential 11 and two hp nodes. Even with this build i can't 3* this level
Trial 60, I'm afraid SP is beatable only if you have max potential, max stars on SRs and at least 3* on your SSRs

We don't have the exact setup (my main DPS was SSR Edmond), but I was also failing around this same mark and what helped the most was increasing the attack of my supporter to boost the buffs. I used idol Yakumo and he is 3*, pot 7 (attack nodes unlocked) and max intimacy. If I were you I would focus on maxing out Olivine's last room and unlocking more attack nodes on your Quincy.
We have about two months left to go, you can do it anon!

I haven't looked into SP clears recently, but prior to the update the only team that could reliably beat it consisted of 5* ZL Olivine/5* SR Quincy/5* SSR Quincy. If that hasn't changed I'm not going to stress it.

It depends. What's their ascension and pot level? For example, depending on who you are buffing a 5* SR Oli can outperform a 3* ZL Oli. I believe someone made a calculator that compares the two but I'm not sure if it's up to date
