As someone pointed out in the last thread, we're eventually going to get a lot of 5*s of different colors in LaDS just by playing normally. I hope I'm wrong, but I think the only way they can convince people to keep rolling for gameplay in the future is to introduce limited memory pairs who unlock new companions you can use in battle. Which means you'd have to save for 140 rolls minimum...

, and to me the battle parts aren't exactly what makes LDS shine anyways. It feels more like a feature that exists to add a reason for levelling the boys and get multiple copies of them etc. As long as they keep adding dates/animated scenes for the new 5*s people will be convinced to roll.

definitely lord jackass. wife may have basic attack stacking but that’s it and his other versions are far better (still love using him though). ult damage boosting, guard stance breaking, and 5% shielding at higher investment makes jackass have more staying power

The auto-equip in LaDS is so strange. If there are no specific colors needed, it always insists on using my level 20-30 Zayne cards when I have a perfectly good lvl 50 Xavier set with a pair and everything.
I got Zayne's NT pair earlier and now my auto equip is his 1/1-30/1/1/1 cards instead of Raf's 50/30-50/50/50/40 team, I don't understand it either.
I got the opposite problem. My Zayne cards are lv 40-50, and my Raf cards are lv 1 but have a solar pair. Auto-equips goes for the Raf cards instead. Shit's so stupid.
It definitely prioritizes pairs but it’s super weird it seems to get fixated on your first pair above all else. Gotta remember to mention it next survey.

Adjusted calcs now that the last tasks are unlocked. Prologue and ch.1-4 are 200 each, ch.5 is 400, so a total of 1400 per boy. I moved "Complete heart racing x5" down because it has been repeating, with this task you can comfortably clear the event shop, even at 3 attempts per day.

Excuse my dumbness, but wouldn't the total with all tasks (including the 3 limited memories) be 27,500? Not 23,750? I know that probably doesn't matter if you can get all the shop items without the memories though.

Galaxy Explorer is my best friend. Although one of my accounts is luckier than the other. Getting 4* cards feels pretty good when it only takes 3 dups to max them out.

It’s been a great source of 4* rank ups for me and I’ve gotten a few new cards from it, too. I’m kind of surprised by how easy it is to get radiant cubes, too. I thought they’d be super rare outside of the ones you buy in exchange shop but I’ve gotten a good few from the silver exploration too

Agreed. Also the menus should make it easier to quickly see what cards I haven't listened to, and how many daily/weekly chances I have left for the Trials and the dating games. Right now you have to go several screens deep to get that info but it should really be more prominent.
Yeah I hate the UI and have been mentioning stuff about it every survey. There are way too many sub menus and screens and presses before getting to what matters. Also weird that there's like 3 different inventory-like pages all spread out in vastly different places and super annoying that every time you press into a date sub category you are forced to choose a character again.
I don't expect them to change anything drastically but just hoping they can rearrange things somehow to increase qol

Yeah, at least for the upcoming week it's the exact same lineup as the first. Makes sense it'd keep rotating though since you need to catch dupes to unlock other colours.
There's some others we haven't seen yet on the collection list too, but I bet they'll have a special unlock criteria like completing the last stage of their respective bounty hunt stages or something.
I guess that makes sense for now. I hope they slowly add more new plushies in the future. I know they already have models of other plushies because there's a bird pictured on the balance machine and some others in Xavier's Plushie Go Go scene. At least, I hope those will be added eventually and it's not just for show.

Extracting the player's model should be a lot of work since it's either bones or blendshapes for the face morph on top of assembling all the different parts. The kitty card expressions are likely animation clips.

What is the best use for Sorcery gems as a F2P? Been hoarding them since the game's launch, and only have about 60-ish. Crystal Cores seem like a good investment because points ladders are so high these days, and the pink gem-only banners seem like they'd take forever to save for to reach pity.
They were useful early on to get tons of gold or potions to build a squad that could actually clear challenges and stuff.
Still good to have a backup though.

I can't help but wonder if it was their futile attempt in making Dante more popular but like you said fans are generally not bothered by that. I would also argue it doesn't only apply to the tops too, outside of this thread I've never encountered people arguing about it. Rei wasn't met with any wide negativity (and as a side note his merch has escaped the Dante/Garu tier, very proud of him), and when Lucien was revealed in Edmond's backstory I saw more disappointment that he was nothing more than a friend. So if they do ever retcon Quincy's lover it would be asinine.
How do you guys focus on which cards to raise in LDS?
I finished getting my purple/pink Rafayel cards to level 60, and now I think I want to focus on the other boys before going higher than level 60, but I'm not sure what colors I should split them as. Xavier has a lot of green 5*s so that'll probably be for him. It feels redundant if I level the same colors for all of them which is why I'm trying to split them up, but my Zayne cards are all over the place with colors... I think I have to cave in and level the 3*s until he starts spooking me some more.
Right now, I’m using the individual trials as a guideline for which color cards to level for each guy though it’s going a bit slow. Doesn’t help that Zayne’s been refusing to give me anything other than mostly red and pink but I’ve just been filling in 3* where I need them. I guess it’s a good idea to do at least a few of different colors for each guy and favor sun pairs or, at least, that’s what I’ve been doing
Getting as many stars as possible in the senior hunter contest should be a priority. I've been focusing on leveling their primary and secondary colors (green-yellow for Xavier, blue and red for Zayne, violet and pink for Raf), since that's the only way you can make any progress for now.
The deepspace trials are permanent and can be cleared only once, I'm taking my sweet time with them
I've been focusing on levelling for my fave's trial stages. It occasionally calls for two whole teams and sometimes needs non-main colors like in picrel (Raf's trial 50), so I usually keep my resources handy in case I need to speedily level a card to beat a stage. I know the rewards for clearing these are not going anywhere, but something about being limited to 9 clears a week makes me feel like I have to keep up.
I used to level the other boys for their respective trials too, but I personally can't justify levelling non 5*s of my non faves past like 30. This is also probably why I struggle to get very far in the senior contest...
Using the Trials as benchmark, I can't clear the boys' stages 30-20-44. I've been trying to ascend Raf's lvl 60 cards but they take so many mats that I wonder if those resources should be spent on other boys instead for the senior contest - the auto-assign made me laugh, there's no way I'm clearing even the first A/B stages with all those 1s.

It’s not game changing but extra aspd is nice for your snipers, and the block thing lets you worry less about timing his skill. If you use ops like Broca, Hoe, Blaze etc it’ll let them attack more enemies.
I wouldn’t prioritize it if you’re short of mod blocks but I always seem to be swimming in them.

The problem is those yumebucks wouldn’t translate 1:1 into sales on an omnigame. Mixed banners means men and women are easily saving rolls when whichever sex they don’t like is on rate up, meaning both your demos are saving more and don’t need to spend as much.
I still think games can make good money if they’re smart with their male banners (ex- AK’s Chong banner was crazy successful) but there’s probably some trade offs that need to be evaluated by their bean counters.

I think ToT is the only other otome I played that does individual birthdays for the guys (and it’s been a long time since I’ve played) but the birthday events were pretty much like that, too. A few days before, some small tasks and story bits to put together a party, a cake, a gift etc and then a nice little scene on the birthday day itself
Obey Me does birthday events for the characters where you could grind to get a UR for them, though I haven't played in well over a year now
afaik om stopped doing any kind of events or grind for character birthdays (aside, I think, from rerrunning the ones from the past year?) All they do now is run a birthday gacha for whichever character

Rei is useful for pretty much any team but his and Kuya's kits complement each other well. They both are pretty good, Kuya is the only one that requires 2 or more wood allies to activate his passive though (though that isn't hard if you already have Cat Rei/SR Quincy)

It's frustrating to see the same characters constantly be in a Saturday morning cartoon subplot while others are getting more interesting and "darker" events. They had their chance to have this banner for Christmas and didn't. Probably because then they would have used up all their heavy hitters in one go, so if Kuya was on it they wouldn't have someone carry Rei in this event. Though now we know Rei is faring better in popularity in Japan than Dante, Garu, and maybe Blade? His merch for the anni event sold out in some storefronts before Blade's, but it still might be too soon to tell.
Blade would've been the top for the fairy tale line if Kuya was in for the Christmas one, and he already was with Rei previously, though that doesn't stop them from having repeat banners. Yakumo is always stuck with Garu to boost sales

Apparently someone made a mistake and posted the new LDS 5 stars too soon on FB.
It was obviously deleted, but people are calling the memories "boring" because the still images look like other 5 stars already. They say "the outfits are the same. Recycled content" but I'm not sure what LDS was supposed to do? They dug themselves a hole by releasing banners every week.
Wish guarentee is confusing as ever. They really make it sound like the guarentee carries over, but we already have some "proof" that it doesn't (instagram user losing two banners in a row).
I understand it as

If you have 140 wishes, you can guarantee the limited 5 star on a banner (as long as you wish until you get it.)
The question is if you lose once on a banner and don't have enough wishes to keep going until the guarantee, will the guarantee "reset" on the next limited banner.
I'm playing the game as if the guarantee doesn't carry, but that means I'm skipping everything to save. The pity carries, but that feels sort of useless when you could keep losing banners if you split up your wishes.
Mainly I'm annoyed at English user support because they are useless. They copy/paste answers that don't clarify anything because it's just regurgitating the in-game information.
