I completely forgot about that unspoken top/bottom rule since they broke it with AD, but since they haven't done so in a while it might be back in effect. If that's the case then it could be Olivine and Blade or Blade and Rei, if it's the latter I'm expecting an SR since those two can't carry a banner. Maybe Kuya since it's forest themed.

Edmond + any other bottom would do fine, especially Olivine who is decently popular. They've used Edmond to carry two unpopular tops, he can carry all the bottoms.

Why is the release schedule so wack? Gap between new song and the previous one for CrazyB: 8, Rabbits: 5, Ryuseitai: 5, Valkyrie: 6 meanwhile Alkaloid is ongoing at 11 months and it has been over a year for Undead/Akatsuki.
The new Valkyrie song is the first climax event song that's really impressed me. Hopefully they can keep up that quality.
It's about to get worse for Akatsuki, they promised that all the units who haven't gotten a character's 5* focus event yet will get one before the end of the year, and we have six of those to go. If they plan on keeping that promise, we won't see 2wink, Switch, and the other smaller units get events until after New Year's.

Some people don't consider SRs part of a banner's line up. A lot of them still b***h that Edmond has more units than anyone else, even though he's tied with Quincy if you count Quincy's A/B/O SR.

Just getting Quincy's weirdo big booted unit was tough. It's even worse since it was also counted as a multiplier. The future possibility of another event SR with those conditions and odds again is scary. Why can't NuGovernment give us pieces of those event SR instead of tiny 1 basic potential material in the banners? At least that gives another incentive to do well on the ladder or try gambling on the banner.

I assume Mothman is that high because he gives you an Elixir of Immortality for one of his Valentines events, stating that he sees you as his equal and that he’d like for you to join him. As for Dantes, he’s one of the few servants in the game to constantly show up in the story to save you, keeping with his vow to always protect the protag or something along those lines. His Arcade lines also definitely confirm his for (you) status.

The story's about being the last line of defense trying to save the world from gods/aliens. Very high stakes. And the different worlds are all alt history/alt universe which can have interesting stories.
Not all of the female characters are that bad, and not all events are as annoying as the typical summer swimsuit event.
Unfortunately, the bias towards females has always been the norm; especially with the most popular gachas.
And the not for (you) category is mostly dudes too.
This list gets worse the further down you go imo. It’s not entirely accurate, but I thought the higher tiers were fair. Some of the dudes in “not for (you)” should absolutely be higher, and if you’re going to add shitpost tiers, you might as well add some for the males.

Stultifera is in side stories so anyone can play for him anytime. It's still getting a rerun besides that soonish IIRC, but the Aegir events have always been there immediately after their first run because of their plot importance,

Extremely late to this, but as possibly the only person who plays AS as main gacha, I need to spread the word.
It mainly depends on whether you like the gameplay or not. It has a nice female:male unit release ratio (2:1 to 3:1, most of the time), the designs are good, plot is good (once in a while there are some goofy translation mistakes, but it's not that bad), and it's pretty generous on rolls. There's no femMC but Navi actually has some personality unlike most gacha MCs I've seen.
Recently they implemented stage sweeping, so dailies are quick, but there's enough content in case you want to actually play the game
I did start playing after seeing that delicious shota dragon skin. Didn’t manage to roll him but I did get a very cute Fleur instead.
I can’t guarantee I’ll keep playing for long because my other games already take up a lot of time, but for now I do like the gameplay (except for the moronic Cloud Gardens thing) and it seems like there are a number of handsome guys to collect.

Sekai has a variety of great female characters. There's fanservice at times, but it's not as bad as games with female-only casts. As for yume pandering, I wouldn't really say there's much, but that also depends on what you would consider good enough as a yume. There's no self-insert character, Miku just sometimes talks directly to you.

Goodness. I speedran everything I can so that I could at least get them scrolls from the Sorcerer's Trials before the new event starts in a few hours. Defeating this very eager trial 50 snek boss for season 8 was tough. I had to cycle through my units just to find out which combination can beat him. Unfortunately a double Quincy team isn't viable because of R Quincy's weakness to wood. With this snek growing wildly powerful every turn, it just means he needs to be defeated asap.
The key is to time your healer's ult [doubly buffed if possible] to activate their healing regen/heal over time whenever the boss uses Deep Desire. Just keep calmly attacking, and don't panic after he unleashes Overflowing Lust since your healing regen is on because of your healer's ult.
Always check your units' status so you won't accidentally use an ult or guard when it's not the right time, and you'll eventually wear him down in no time. Admittedly, the fight was a breeze using my other team after I figured out what to do. The next thing I'm gonna worry about later is the last two floor bosses.
I'm also dumb and didn't even notice that there's a snake body wrapped around the back of Eiden's neck.

No prob. Good luck, anon. It took me ages to get everything right. That's Army Blade souped up with boosts from Sensei Olivine and Choco Yakumo at the same turn.
He actually did 148.4k damage as you can see in the other picture I took, and you're only seeing the number of the last damage he dealt before the boss faded away in my earlier post. The damage amount is still the same even if you use Choco Yakumo's ult a turn earlier then have Sensei Olivine ult buff before letting Army Blade's ult loose next turn. He had a very good damage output because of snek boss' fire weakness. It's the same team I used to punch a hole through Rei last season, and in this season as well.
I got him on my 99th roll, I'm not sure whether I should laugh or cry.
I had to go for the item. 300 pulls, snake came, wife came, fox grandpa came, wrong puppy came, but event puppy nowhere to be seen. Didn't have luck this bad in a long time.

I saw some whispers about this on Twitter (Zest Quincy) and I really want to know if they got to keep the random limited units, or if the emergency maintenance took them away.
So is the next event confirmed to be Blade and Rei now? Like is it a giveaway that Rei took the place of Blade? Blade will be the longest between an event, and that will keep the top/bottom dynamic if he's featured with Rei.

202 rolls and I summoned the wrong puppy and snek before Long Yakumo finally appeared. But the biggest moment came when I used a sorcery gem, saw rainbow lights, and got one smug fox instead. What are the chances amirite.
Long Yakumo seems interesting in that his ult damage goes through the enemy first before he suffers backlash which is a double-edged sword where your HP has gone down dangerous levels or like when that stacked poison/bleed finally offs you in the moment of victory which happened to me way too often.
My Yakumo account continues to somehow be blessed with impossible luck. I got him in 45 rolls and I still have 102 contract bundles (yes, bundles).
I stopped rolling there and used memory crystals to 2 star him as always. He's been so eager to come home that it's almost a problem - I'm low on memory crystals and some of my SRs are still at 3 stars, despite playing since release.
But I shouldn't complain. I'm very honored that my snake prince has chosen me for so long. And it's refreshing to get the character I want, unlike all my other accounts that always have to hit 300 contracts.
Lucky. Sweet rolls, and amazing scroll collection. I nearly gave up when I got three Mist puppies, and one lost sweater wearing assassin droid, when all I wanted was that new crying Mist Yakumo after I burned through 210 scrolls. It took another 10 scrolls before he finally appeared. I'm still undecided if I should roll some more for the SSR selector so I could get another Yakumo dupe. I love his new look, and I'd like to see more of his rooms.
The new Mist Garu's great if paired with units dealing basic attack debuffs and basic attack followups because of his basic attack buff's 3 turn long staying power. It might be overkill if you add Eclipse Kuya in the mix with his bloodsucking buff. Sadly, Army Blade's massive damage multi-hit ult is considered an ultimate attack by itself. I know cuz I tried it out with the new puppy. An anon can dream, right?

I wonder how many guys or gals admire the male NPCs of Genshin. Though it seems the only male NPCs of Genshin anyone would admire or even outright husbando for are the Fatui Vangurads, the Fatui Riflemen, the Geomancers and Fatui Field Agents AND the male Erimites (Daythunder, Sunfrost and the guy darker skinned one with dreads and summons crocodiles). But never ever will you see anyone admiring or oogling Treasure Hoarders considering they're the criminal scum bandits of Genshin, the treasure hoarding motherfrickers are probably those smelly-ass bandits who reek and have not bathed for months on end.
Meanwhile guys like the Fatui Vanguards, Riflemen, Geochanter and the Field Agent are atleast professional military men who adhere to strict grooming standards. Plus compared to the playable guys, the Fatui guys I mentioned are right proper (military-aged) adult men within their 20s, 30s or even super early 40s.
The Rifleman and Geochanter: in their 20s and at most 25+ years old. The Electro and Anemo Vanguards: late 20s or are in their 30s and would qualify as 30 yr old Boomers drinking zero sugar white monster. And the Field Agents are (probably) mostly ojii-san aged DILFs: in their 30s or early 40s.

As long as you create a member account on the erolabs website all your progress and data will be saved. I haven't touched the Nu:carni accounts I've had there for months, but last I checked all my stuff was still there just as I left it. Though if you don't want to really bother with it, there shouldn't be that much difference between that version and the app store version, just maybe a bit more nudity I guess

Like we barely got to have any interaction to with blade and Loucha but we get events with sushang and bailu? Kafka is always talking to us and bronya and seelie are always here and there in events and companion quests Whenever we have anything to do with gepard serval is always there too? So far I’m thinking jing yuan and Dan heng is one of the better ones but the interactions with then felt rushed. I’m just disappointed because so far it seems genshin does a way better job with its male characters in every way and it isn’t even that great considering how much of character quests are just talking to nctgh2npcs

Genshin is deffo better in that regard if we talk about character interaction. Most early characters were good in that regard. The game feels stale content wise from the men. We barely know blade and he’s been out for ages, we barely know Jing yuan and we haven’t even met Loucha. Nah. The messages you get from IL are pretty yume pandering. Him and Jing yuan are the only ones I get those vibes from. Maybe sampo too. But I agree with the original op. The game feels stale content wise from the men. We barely know blade and he’s been out for ages, we barely know Jing yuan and we haven’t even met Loucha. Arknights has fanservice, but it’s not a large focus. The tone of the game is rather dark/bleak, with some lighthearted events or stories. Because the writing tends to be very serious, I personally find the overall cast tolerable, including female characters I wouldn’t like if they were in another setting.
As for the yume pandering, there are definitely for (you) males, and ones open to interpretation. Pic rel is fairly accurate and gives a good idea of what to expect.
Not that anon but imo the story is definitely female-based. I feel like the women get all the important roles and the guys are usually just filling token positions or are perma NPC old dudes. You have the honse faction which is all female and then the token uncle Mlynar. Same for AH stacies. Some factions are straight up 100% female. Main story is all about important women (good or bad). Its one of my main issues with the writing but thats not to say the guys (or girls) themselves are bad characters, I like them. I just hate the obvious writing bias.

The only ones with satisfying content are the IS modes, Karlan boys, Passenger, and Executor who has an important role in the Laterano shenanigans.

I agree with the most. There are less male characters, but they treat them pretty fairly despite the ratio being huge. There are only 1 or 2 dudes I can think of who are just kind of there, with no relevance to any sort of story. Even then there’s a chance in the future. For example, Greyy (formerly a literal who 4*) managed to get an alt (one of the first), and he has two costumes.
All in all, I wish there were more dudes, but I don’t feel like they’re second-class citizens.

The heat of the taste of victory cooks the memory out of the brain. Same. I'm hilariously mad at myself for forgetting to write down what I did in the earlier season too. Of course, you can also aim for the 10 scroll bundle at 29.52k, which means collecting 17 out of the 19 scrolls available, and 1150 gems in the process.
Also, if you've unlocked and finished every possible intimacy room, the first thing you should do is get the intimacy deeds event rewards if there's any before rolling for new event units. I plumb forgot about this tiny detail, and made the mistake of ascending Mist Garu to 2* too soon before I collected the intimacy deeds event rewards. So I'm gifting as fast as I can.
sorry to hear that but at least the off-banner is a pretty good character on his own (and pretty powerful, from what I've seen of him in culinary battles). I think longjing is going into standard some time after this banner, too, so you can always pick him up later with a little luck (or get spooked by him when pulling for someone else)

I might have to skip the next banner to replenish my gift stock unless it's a triple banner with Quincy. In which case it'll be troublesome to decide if I should roll, or not because of the odds. Gramps shouldn't have been summoned that frequently with his tiny .044% odds in the event banner, but the opposite happened.

No problem, anon. Glad to help. There's no need to criticize yourself like that though. Mystery 3 took me three tries with two on 2x auto, and one on 1x manually to understand what I was doing wrong with my weaker team cuz the prompts went by too quick for me.
Speaking of quick, my scrolls got used up so fast, but it's always the wrong person who appeared. 230 rolls, and the new puppy appeared four times with Mist Yakumo mercifully showing up in the end. If only that puppy also graced me with the same luck during Mystical Banquet. A few more rolls and I'll also be getting the unit selector for Yakumo's ascension.

Huh, he beat the standard banner allegations after all. I'm sort of surprised but happy (will absolutely be sobbing when I try to get both him and Nuev, but at least they're the last banners I want for a while I guess)

I know no one believes leakers at this point, but the predicted banners from 4.2 on are all waifus with the only guys being a few reruns. Of course, how seriously you take those leaks is entirely on you
The Tale of Food is a pretty good light rpg with a nice, somewhat varied cast so you'll probably be able to find someone you like. It's not exactly a romance game, though - the guys will flirt a bit depending on their type but there really isn't much outright romantic content.
If you don't mind jp only, yumekuro (and its sister game yume 100) are good light rpgs, too.
For more straightforward vn-likes, Tears of Themis has some very nice art and the guys are likeable (though some people find them very dull) The story's consistently pretty good, too.
I don't know too much about it since it was cn only until recently, but I've heard good things about Lovebrush Chronicles (For All Time originally) It should be out next month if you want to start a game when it first comes out, it could be a good choice and there's plenty of previews of the love interests and story on the game's twitter and youtube
If you want something a little spicier, What in Hell is Bad is also coming out next month. It has had a bit of a troubled dev cycle but what they've shown so far looks good. There's going to be a version on storefronts that slightly more tame and one on erolabs if you want it a bit more uncensored.

I play three, but Nikki I've been playing for so Iong it barely demands time anymore. NuCarnival was from launch so its doing okay, Twisted Wonderland is a bit difficult since I'm still getting used to it.
Veteran is how I operate. Rotating means there is always a chunk of new content to look forward to somewhere. Currently enjoying exploring in Genshin and having Twisted Wonderland as a side game. Considering dropping GBF though, the stories are no longer enjoyable to me.
I also don't know how others can play more than 2. I'm only playing NuC and BD2 right now and I sometimes think about dropping one of them or both because of how much of my time they consume, I can't imagine someone playing say 5 gachas and still having time for other things.

SB69 killed itself really. They updated the game with a new dev and the fans didn't like it, on top of that it kept having glitches that were never fixed so players left. I only have my wife units at 3 or 4 stars each except for his SR, I admire you dedication. I'm fine with just getting enough fragments to get him to 3 star, but judging by the reactions of the Quincysisters to his SR I think I'll be lucky to not spend any memory fragments...

I think the only younger Genshin boy who's an exception is none other than Venti. All female artists, shippers and Genshin yumes who ship and simp for Venti have all consistently drawn him in his canon in game and in-model form and appearance. I have seen Venti being shipped with Female OCs who look like proper grown adults or Venti fricking adult women in his "shota" self. To which I guess they know and are aware of the fact Venti is not a regular human boy but an immortal deity being.
Though I wonder what any of you Genshin sisters can say about Bennet instead? Especially since Bennet is a walking Shonen stereotype and I have observed female Otaku and yumejos do love the occasional Shonen Boy. NTA, but at the very least there was a noticeable difference between the voice work from the beginning of the game's life and the more recent stuff. I don't play Genshin any more, but I remember an anon wondering if Toriumi forgot how to voice Kaeya, kek. Not sure if Toriumi actually forgot or if the voice direction changed, but I wasn't a fan. I thought he started to sound more like an ojisan.

I don't know for sure, as I have stopped playing Genshin, but I found the difference noticeable just comparing the original voice lines with newly recorded voice lines in game. You could probably compare the early story cutscenes with his more recent appearances too. His delivery changed.

That's what I was leaning towards, as his secondhand merch sales is in what I would call mid tier. But, his banner history is throwing me off, he's always paired with someone more popular. Zest for Life? Quincy. Idol Fest? Yakumo. Festival Glimmer? Quincy again. Chimes of Darkness? Yakumo again. Until he's paired with a lone reject we won't know for sure where he stands.

I feel like the limited SR thing was definitely something people complained about in the 1.5 anniversary survey. It's dumb because the devs would have to be incredibly smooth-brained to think the limited Quincy SR was a good idea without pity the first time around.

The addition of a male mc was a last minute one so I imagine the first few chapters will definitely have some mc/fmc frick-ups. Report it so they can fix it, I'd also add in the fact that the translation is poor too. If enough people complain they might hire someone better since they seem proactive with feedback
Sorry but no, they delayed this game multiple times for months and translations we've known about the male mc addition for a long time, their translators had plenty of time to go over the text while the devs were busy dealing with the problems that caused the delays. If they sat on their hands doing nothing all these months why should I expect that they'll change anything now?

I doubt they have a team of in-house translators that were just twiddling their thumbs during the delay. Rather, they were already having to spend extra on development during the delay so it’s not surprising they didn’t rehire the translators to go over it again.
And you think their situation changed now because? We know they don't have in-house translators, an old twitter post revealed they hired someone from Argentina or whatever for the Spanish translation for example. The story isn't even good enough to make anyone reread it even if they fixed this.

I'd rather them use whatever money they manage to get to fix other issues with the game, not a translation we can just replace with the correct words in our minds, they'd probably miss some words here and there anyway with how much text in different places there is. The only reason I talked about the translation is that it showed that even with the delays the game was not ready to launch and no, being a small business is no excuse, if they don't have the manpower for this they shouldn't have made a new game in the first place and should've continued focusing on their other games.

Nearly done with Sorcerer Trials Season 9. It's more gimmicky, but doable.
Trial 50 needs low ult units. If you're lost always check your enemy, and your status. The pattern is:
Turn 2 attack the water poacher holding the egg
Turn 4 defend all & hold everyone's ults until turn 6
Turn 6 ult the water poacher once & ult/attack the light poacher until his shield breaks.
Repeat until both poachers are 1%. Ulting the water poacher is important as he'll deal massive damage to Olivine if he's not stopped.
Trial 55 will need a high HP unit in slot 3 as that will be the basis for their shield. If their shield busts, the fight is over unless you can kill Rei at the same turn. Ended up using SR Olivine, SR Yakumo, R Olivine in slot 3, SR Morvay, and SR Aster. Always taunt during turns 5,9,13,17 to redirect Rei's ult. For my strategy I always defend slot 3 until he uses his ult, and goes back to guarding whenever Aster uses his ult.
I’ll get crashes if I’ve been playing something flashy or 3D for an hour or so. But these WHB crash intervals are measured in minutes. Guess i’d better wait for them to update it and try again later.

Why would I? My interest in the game is close to zero and the game has so many problems that I can't bring myself to care if it fails. I could ignore the translation issues and even the server problems that always happen when games release, but they copied Epic7's gacha which is pure garbage, even the game's biggest selling point which is the secret club uses stamina so you can't play with the boys to your heart's content. Maybe it works like NuC and once you reach max ero level you can do that without using stamina, but at least NuC knew better than to have you use the same stamina you use to run stages in the intimacy rooms.

Saw some people complaining about the game changing their profile from male to female, not just the text and something similar happened yesterday during my chat with Mammon. Picrel is the original chat, with the original choice I made.
Huey's first masked appearance and we can't even ogle his chest. They also made a mistake in Kuya's story. They really went all out with the puzzles and workshop/research stuff. The player card bg's okay I guess. Rei seems like a mini OG Edmond with a lengthier basic attack followup. Blade's sorta OG Quincy using his ult debuffs and he can also support himself with his own heals + shields.
It does seem like some people who did the pancake-key exchange got their accounts blocked. It may be in waves, since I did exchange for keys but my account isn't blocked yet.

I mean, NuC's devs are completely new as far as I know even though they had help from Tenkafuma's devs and yet they delivered a better product so having little experience isn't a good enough excuse.
I think it’s less about experience and more about budget and staff.
But also I think their biggest mistake is they’re being over ambitious: trying to release way too many languages at once, cramming in the male option at the last second, talking about console ports, etc. The whole thing has a “small passionate group dreams too big, can’t keep up with their own concept creep” feel.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but iirc NuC also has a small dev team, they're a new company too so I doubt their budget is that much higher, though you could argue that the animated H-scenes require a higher budget, but the secret club animations in WHB could be argued to not be that far behind. In the end though, we don't know the exact situation of either company, but WHB was also delayed multiple times so I think it's reasonable to at the very least expect a little more polish than what we got.

I have no doubt that the english fanbase is big (for a gacha), looking at their twitter they get a lot of engagement. They def don't spend as much as the eastern fanbase but this is usually the case with all gachas not just nu:c. I think the only western whale I've seen is a resident wife sister.
By the look of the event SRs, Quincy and Grandpa are in the top 4 for sure. Wife and Snek being the other two of course. The character tax don't lie.

I would say that those four are easily the top earners judging on their popularity on social media and the prices of their merch from the resellers, the others are kind of a mess. I'd call Garu bottom tier and that's it, I have no club where the others would fit on the scale. Olivine would maybe be mid, you could push Yakumo or Edmond to high mid if you wanted but the rest seem like they are just trash when it comes to moneymaking.

There's more than their personalities that affect their appeal, design, their story and in Blade, Dante and Rei's case not being part of the initial cast. Blade and Dante in particular have the not-Garu and not-wife thing too going for them, their tropes are too similar.

Finished the final 60th floor of Sorcerer Trials Season 9. It reminds me of the second season of the Trials' boss match with Dante in lecture mode. Basically you'll need to use your guardian taunting to absorb Edmond's ult every 4th turn after turn 5 while using your healer's ult at the same turn to survive his hits. Next turn after that defend everyone. Keep up the attacks until his HP drops down to 50%, and then 1% to defeat him.

I'm saving to see what the banners are first. I don't know how it's gonna be, if it's going to be just new characters or new variations of existing characters. Also don't know if existing characters that are S or A+ will get cards that are L. Worst case scenario is only the posterboys get new L cards, I don't much care for them (was into satan but his voice and personality are kind of a turn off) compared to some lower rank characters.

There's already L rank tier art asset for Gabriel, so I do think all the seraphs will be playable in some form. The Gabriel given in the preorder package is S-rank with no special art, so it'll probably stay exclusive.

Just got back from finishing the final stages of Lost Relics Season 5.
8-1: Needs your second strongest low cd units (no aoe), a healer, and an optional buffer if your team can't break the shield easily.
8-2: Needs a guard breaker, a good healer, and three other attackers. A Kuya heal debuffer unit along with a buffer is optional. Focus your attacks on the chef. Use your guard breaker unit to hit the chicken once it [loses its head] to paralyze it, and continue attacking the chef. Repeat until the chef dies before you can kill the chicken.
8-3: Same as last challenge event. They need to be killed at the same time or else the survivor will nuke your team next turn. Lower their HP to 10% then kill both at the same turn. My strategy used SR Morvay + SR Aster. Depending on the enemy status, use Morvay's taunt every 4th turn to shield your other units from being toasted with Chef Yakumo's aoe ult. Target Eiden then ult Yakumo every time until their HP's lowered enough for your ults to finish them.
Nah man. You need to wait until their shields are down before you carefully use your ults on them until they’re both weak enough to be killed together. It’s a matter of timing. That’s why my vanilla SR team finished the stage whereas I lumped the few useable SSRs I have into 8-1. 8-1 outright kills you if you can’t break the shield, but 8-3 lures you into trying to waste your ults removing it when you can just wait it out. 8-1 bird needs to be hit with ults 3x so his regenerated shields will be weaker.
Uh. You just need to watch your units' status on who to guard. Essentially strikers will get a buff to stop their ults from being reset if they guard on the turn they'll be hit by the enemy ult. otoh the other enemy will target one unit & you need to guard them or else they'll bite it the next turn if their HP's low.

I'm just happy that my Mammon and Satan will actually be able to hit targets again. I was getting tired of being filtered by early Ch 2 stages but now I might actually be able to progress
Pancake shop's reopened and the daily limit for exchanging red keys is actually pretty high, you can get a 10 pull everyday. The more significant rebalancing were the dupes to pancakes getting nerfed a few days ago.
Decided to pull on a second account, got Mammon dupe and Leviathan's artifact on the second 10 pull, got another Mammon dupe + Satan + Mammon's artifact a while later, got Beelzebub from the 30 keys I bought from the exchange shop and lastly Leviathan from the last 10 pull from the 3 I got for having 25 of the boys. Absolutely insane luck.
The Incident stages ended up being pretty simple. I1 was just getting the two automations to a certain hp and killing them before they explode, then kill blade. I2 was kinda like kuya's fire stage, you just block to erase turn by turn damage and hit the bear until it dies.
I3 is reducing Kuya's and Huey's HP to kill them at the same time (if one of them is left at the end of your turn then you get instakilled), their attack patterns loop so you can take your time reducing their hp (helps to have morvay on this stage).
Their main target is the third slot and Kuya's targets include paralyzing slots 1 and 5. I put Morvay and another striker in these slots and put my support and healer in slot 2/4, doesn't really matter who you put in slot 3 (I put Quincy there) as long as it isn't a healer. When "Counter Barrier"/"Terminate Core" happens defend your whole team, Huey and Kuya both do a counterattack on the 3rd slot if you hit either of them this turn. When Kuya paralyzes your units defend your healer, next turn Huey will do an AoE and Kuya with target your healer. When Kuya sets your teammates on fire (slots 2/3/4) use Morvay's ult so "Weaken core" won't hit your 3rd slot next turn. When Thick Haze happens you can't do any damage to them so don't bother doing anything, this is the end of the attack loop so they'll just repeat the same moves

The new Valkyrie song is the first climax event song that's really impressed me. Hopefully they can keep up that quality.
It's about to get worse for Akatsuki, they promised that all the units who haven't gotten a character's 5* focus event yet will get one before the end of the year, and we have six of those to go. Some people don't consider SRs part of a banner's line up. A lot of them still b***h that Edmond has more units than anyone else, even though he's tied with Quincy if you count Quincy's A/B/O SR.

The future possibility of another event SR with those conditions and odds again is scary. Why can't NuGovernment give us pieces of those event SR instead of tiny 1 basic potential material in the banners? The story's about being the last line of defense trying to save the world from gods/aliens. Very high stakes. And the different worlds are all alt history/alt universe which can have interesting stories.
Not all of the female characters are that bad, and not all events are as annoying as the typical summer swimsuit event.

Extremely late to this, but as possibly the only person who plays AS as main gacha, I need to spread the word.
It mainly depends on whether you like the gameplay or not. It has a nice female:male unit release ratio (2:1 to 3:1, most of the time), the designs are good, plot is good (once in a while there are some goofy translation mistakes, but it's not that bad), and it's pretty generous on rolls. There's no femMC but Navi actually has some personality unlike most gacha MCs I've seen.
Recently they implemented stage sweeping, so dailies are quick, but there's enough content in case you want to actually play the game
I did start playing after seeing that delicious shota dragon skin. Didn’t manage to roll him but I did get a very cute Fleur instead.
I can’t guarantee I’ll keep playing for long because my other games already take up a lot of time, but for now I do like the gameplay (except for the moronic Cloud Gardens thing) and it seems like there are a number of handsome guys to collect.

Sekai has a variety of great female characters. There's fanservice at times, but it's not as bad as games with female-only casts. As for yume pandering, I wouldn't really say there's much, but that also depends on what you would consider good enough as a yume. There's no self-insert character, Miku just sometimes talks directly to you.

Goodness. I speedran everything I can so that I could at least get them scrolls from the Sorcerer's Trials before the new event starts in a few hours. Defeating this very eager trial 50 snek boss for season 8 was tough. I had to cycle through my units just to find out which combination can beat him. Unfortunately a double Quincy team isn't viable because of R Quincy's weakness to wood. With this snek growing wildly powerful every turn, it just means he needs to be defeated asap.
The key is to time your healer's ult [doubly buffed if possible] to activate their healing regen/heal over time whenever the boss uses Deep Desire. Just keep calmly attacking, and don't panic after he unleashes Overflowing Lust since your healing regen is on because of your healer's ult.
Always check your units' status so you won't accidentally use an ult or guard when it's not the right time, and you'll eventually wear him down in no time. Admittedly, the fight was a breeze using my other team after I figured out what to do. The next thing I'm gonna worry about later is the last two floor bosses.
Oh no. Use my scrolls for the new longhaired longnecked snek, or save it for the future Topper --- I mean, future Quincy unit?

No prob. Good luck, anon. It took me ages to get everything right. That's Army Blade souped up with boosts from Sensei Olivine and Choco Yakumo at the same turn.
He actually did 148.4k damage as you can see in the other picture I took, and you're only seeing the number of the last damage he dealt before the boss faded away in my earlier post. The damage amount is still the same even if you use Choco Yakumo's ult a turn earlier then have Sensei Olivine ult buff before letting Army Blade's ult loose next turn. He had a very good damage output because of snek boss' fire weakness. It's the same team I used to punch a hole through Rei last season, and in this season as well.
Please, nu:devs. Finish updating the game so I can spend my contracts and sleep.

202 rolls and I summoned the wrong puppy and snek before Long Yakumo finally appeared. But the biggest moment came when I used a sorcery gem, saw rainbow lights, and got one smug fox instead. What are the chances amirite.
Long Yakumo seems interesting in that his ult damage goes through the enemy first before he suffers backlash which is a double-edged sword where your HP has gone down dangerous levels or like when that stacked poison/bleed finally offs you in the moment of victory which happened to me way too often.

My Yakumo account continues to somehow be blessed with impossible luck. I got him in 45 rolls and I still have 102 contract bundles (yes, bundles).
I stopped rolling there and used memory crystals to 2 star him as always. He's been so eager to come home that it's almost a problem - I'm low on memory crystals and some of my SRs are still at 3 stars, despite playing since release.
But I shouldn't complain. I'm very honored that my snake prince has chosen me for so long. And it's refreshing to get the character I want, unlike all my other accounts that always have to hit 300 contracts.
Lucky. Sweet rolls, and amazing scroll collection. I nearly gave up when I got three Mist puppies, and one lost sweater wearing assassin droid, when all I wanted was that new crying Mist Yakumo after I burned through 210 scrolls. It took another 10 scrolls before he finally appeared. I'm still undecided if I should roll some more for the SSR selector so I could get another Yakumo dupe. I love his new look, and I'd like to see more of his rooms.
The new Mist Garu's great if paired with units dealing basic attack debuffs and basic attack followups because of his basic attack buff's 3 turn long staying power. It might be overkill if you add Eclipse Kuya in the mix with his bloodsucking buff. Sadly, Army Blade's massive damage multi-hit ult is considered an ultimate attack by itself. I know cuz I tried it out with the new puppy. An anon can dream, right?

I wonder how many guys or gals admire the male NPCs of Genshin. Though it seems the only male NPCs of Genshin anyone would admire or even outright husbando for are the Fatui Vangurads, the Fatui Riflemen, the Geomancers and Fatui Field Agents AND the male Erimites (Daythunder, Sunfrost and the guy darker skinned one with dreads and summons crocodiles). But never ever will you see anyone admiring or oogling Treasure Hoarders considering they're the criminal scum bandits of Genshin, the treasure hoarding motherfrickers are probably those smelly-ass bandits who reek and have not bathed for months on end.
Meanwhile guys like the Fatui Vanguards, Riflemen, Geochanter and the Field Agent are atleast professional military men who adhere to strict grooming standards. Plus compared to the playable guys, the Fatui guys I mentioned are right proper (military-aged) adult men within their 20s, 30s or even super early 40s.
The Rifleman and Geochanter: in their 20s and at most 25+ years old. The Electro and Anemo Vanguards: late 20s or are in their 30s and would qualify as 30 yr old Boomers drinking zero sugar white monster. And the Field Agents are (probably) mostly ojii-san aged DILFs: in their 30s or early 40s.

As long as you create a member account on the erolabs website all your progress and data will be saved. I haven't touched the Nu:carni accounts I've had there for months, but last I checked all my stuff was still there just as I left it. Though if you don't want to really bother with it, there shouldn't be that much difference between that version and the app store version, just maybe a bit more nudity I guess

Like we barely got to have any interaction to with blade and Loucha but we get events with sushang and bailu? Kafka is always talking to us and bronya and seelie are always here and there in events and companion quests Whenever we have anything to do with gepard serval is always there too? So far I’m thinking jing yuan and Dan heng is one of the better ones but the interactions with then felt rushed. I’m just disappointed because so far it seems genshin does a way better job with its male characters in every way and it isn’t even that great considering how much of character quests are just talking to nctgh2npcs

Arknights has fanservice, but it’s not a large focus. The tone of the game is rather dark/bleak, with some lighthearted events or stories. Because the writing tends to be very serious, I personally find the overall cast tolerable, including female characters I wouldn’t like if they were in another setting.
As for the yume pandering, there are definitely for (you) males, and ones open to interpretation. Pic rel is fairly accurate and gives a good idea of what to expect.

Not that anon but imo the story is definitely female-based. I feel like the women get all the important roles and the guys are usually just filling token positions or are perma NPC old dudes. You have the honse faction which is all female and then the token uncle Mlynar. Same for AH stacies. Some factions are straight up 100% female. Main story is all about important women (good or bad). Its one of my main issues with the writing but thats not to say the guys (or girls) themselves are bad characters, I like them. I just hate the obvious writing bias.

It's not a writing bias, the imbalance is downstream from the decision to have more female ops than male ops. The males make up like 20-25% of the playable characters but they get about that much story focus or slightly more.

To add on to what other anons have said: Because the game is mostly females, many of the events are female focused. That being said,
I agree with the most. There are less male characters, but they treat them pretty fairly despite the ratio being huge. There are only 1 or 2 dudes I can think of who are just kind of there, with no relevance to any sort of story. Even then there’s a chance in the future. For example, Greyy (formerly a literal who 4*) managed to get an alt (one of the first), and he has two costumes.
All in all, I wish there were more dudes, but I don’t feel like they’re second-class citizens.

The heat of the taste of victory cooks the memory out of the brain. Same. I'm hilariously mad at myself for forgetting to write down what I did in the earlier season too. Of course, you can also aim for the 10 scroll bundle at 29.52k, which means collecting 17 out of the 19 scrolls available, and 1150 gems in the process.
Also, if you've unlocked and finished every possible intimacy room, the first thing you should do is get the intimacy deeds event rewards if there's any before rolling for new event units. I plumb forgot about this tiny detail, and made the mistake of ascending Mist Garu to 2* too soon before I collected the intimacy deeds event rewards. So I'm gifting as fast as I can.

sorry to hear that but at least the off-banner is a pretty good character on his own (and pretty powerful, from what I've seen of him in culinary battles). I think longjing is going into standard some time after this banner, too, so you can always pick him up later with a little luck (or get spooked by him when pulling for someone else)

Season 8's Trial 55 wasn't so bad. It's just annoying as you can't also kill the enemy too fast, but at the right time.
Notes:

# it's game over if the snowmen gains 7 snow armor or dante dies(?)
# either ult dante with your weakest unit [probs not a light unit or else dante will die faster] during turns 8/14/20/26 to stop him from healing the snowmen, or mow down those snowmen until they melt
# using 3 ults in one turn will remove a snow armor
# after dropping one snowman HP to the HP lock Inspection of 75%-50%-25%, you must bring the other snowman's hp close within at most 4% of each other's HP. any more, and both snowmen will throw a hissy fit buffing both of them while debuffing your units
Used an all 4* team of SR Olivine, SR Yakumo, SR Dante, SR Kuya, and SR Aster. Dante's the one dealing ults on Xmas Dante.
After months of gathering dust, I used a crystal core for SR Aster's 5th upgrade. Without it, I went over the turn limit with Blade nearly defeated for Trial 60. That was a mistake on my part. After I 3* cleared it, I tried it again with a slightly different team. It's actually doable not to use your cores as you can just use R Quincy, and raise Aster's potential along with Yakumo yay high.
Notes:
# either use a buffer, a healer, 2 defenders (morvay) & aster for his symbiotic passive buff with morvay or ditch your buffer for another strong striker (water if possible)
# your healer needs at least 13k, and your defenders at least 21k+. only base 18k+ needed if you're using morvay with aster in the team because it'll be buffed immensely in battle with their 3* passive
# 2 ults per turn only, or else you'll get whipped by the boss' punishing aoe next turn
# if a unit drops down to critical red [which from my testing is 25% of a unit's max HP], blade will nuke everyone by next turn unless you recover their hp up to yellow or kill blade first in the same turn

Just like Mystery 2, for Mystery 3 you need to bring a healer and 4 attackers, but this time no aoe. Don't attack Garu. Until Yakumo comes to his senses and joins you to raise your recovery rate %, defend your healer. Always save 1 attacker ult. Depending on Tsang's condition, you need to ult Yakumo on turn 8, and then hit Tsang 3x to stop his damage if he does the Smoky Defense thing; it doesn't need to be ults. But if he announces that you won't survive the next turn, defend everyone, and use your healer's ult the next turn if Yakumo's okay by then.
Thank you kind anon. I was dumb and didn't read the prompts right for hitting Tsang with normal attacks vs ults. The stage was pretty easy after that.
No problem, anon. Glad to help. There's no need to criticize yourself like that though. Mystery 3 took me three tries with two on 2x auto, and one on 1x manually to understand what I was doing wrong with my weaker team cuz the prompts went by too quick for me.
Speaking of quick, my scrolls got used up so fast, but it's always the wrong person who appeared. 230 rolls, and the new puppy appeared four times with Mist Yakumo mercifully showing up in the end. If only that puppy also graced me with the same luck during Mystical Banquet. A few more rolls and I'll also be getting the unit selector for Yakumo's ascension.
Well, I stand corrected. You need to save your ults to use them at turn 14 on Tsang if he's still alive by then after trying it out with my weaker team. I dunno if he asks to be ulted during other turns, but just go by what the enemy prompt tells you to hit him with, and you'll defeat the stage.

just from the top of my head:
The Tale of Food is a pretty good light rpg with a nice, somewhat varied cast so you'll probably be able to find someone you like. It's not exactly a romance game, though - the guys will flirt a bit depending on their type but there really isn't much outright romantic content.
If you don't mind jp only, yumekuro (and its sister game yume 100) are good light rpgs, too.
For more straightforward vn-likes, Tears of Themis has some very nice art and the guys are likeable (though some people find them very dull) The story's consistently pretty good, too.
I don't know too much about it since it was cn only until recently, but I've heard good things about Lovebrush Chronicles (For All Time originally) It should be out next month if you want to start a game when it first comes out, it could be a good choice and there's plenty of previews of the love interests and story on the game's twitter and youtube
If you want something a little spicier, What in Hell is Bad is also coming out next month. It has had a bit of a troubled dev cycle but what they've shown so far looks good. There's going to be a version on storefronts that slightly more tame and one on erolabs if you want it a bit more uncensored.

Veteran is how I operate. Rotating means there is always a chunk of new content to look forward to somewhere. Currently enjoying exploring in Genshin and having Twisted Wonderland as a side game. Considering dropping GBF though, the stories are no longer enjoyable to me.
I also don't know how others can play more than 2. I'm only playing NuC and BD2 right now and I sometimes think about dropping one of them or both because of how much of my time they consume, I can't imagine someone playing say 5 gachas and still having time for other things.

I think the only younger Genshin boy who's an exception is none other than Venti. All female artists, shippers and Genshin yumes who ship and simp for Venti have all consistently drawn him in his canon in game and in-model form and appearance. I have seen Venti being shipped with Female OCs who look like proper grown adults or Venti fricking adult women in his "shota" self. To which I guess they know and are aware of the fact Venti is not a regular human boy but an immortal deity being.

I don't know for sure, as I have stopped playing Genshin, but I found the difference noticeable just comparing the original voice lines with newly recorded voice lines in game. You could probably compare the early story cutscenes with his more recent appearances too. His delivery changed.

The addition of a male mc was a last minute one so I imagine the first few chapters will definitely have some mc/fmc frick-ups. Report it so they can fix it, I'd also add in the fact that the translation is poor too. If enough people complain they might hire someone better since they seem proactive with feedback

I doubt they have a team of in-house translators that were just twiddling their thumbs during the delay. Rather, they were already having to spend extra on development during the delay so it’s not surprising they didn’t rehire the translators to go over it again.
And you think their situation changed now because? We know they don't have in-house translators, an old twitter post revealed they hired someone from Argentina or whatever for the Spanish translation for example. The story isn't even good enough to make anyone reread it even if they fixed this.

I'd rather them use whatever money they manage to get to fix other issues with the game, not a translation we can just replace with the correct words in our minds, they'd probably miss some words here and there anyway with how much text in different places there is. yeah, it's a bit mental. for the record, trashing an A-rank tea leaf (which isn't even the grade where you can get boys, it's one below) gets you 100 pancakes. you can get an A+ character in the shop for 100 pancakes. hell, Paimon is only 200 pancakes right now and he's S rank.

Nearly done with Sorcerer Trials Season 9. It's more gimmicky, but doable.
Trial 50 needs low ult units. If you're lost always check your enemy, and your status. The pattern is:
Turn 2 attack the water poacher holding the egg
Turn 4 defend all & hold everyone's ults until turn 6
Turn 6 ult the water poacher once & ult/attack the light poacher until his shield breaks.
Repeat until both poachers are 1%. Ulting the water poacher is important as he'll deal massive damage to Olivine if he's not stopped.
Trial 55 will need a high HP unit in slot 3 as that will be the basis for their shield. If their shield busts, the fight is over unless you can kill Rei at the same turn. Ended up using SR Olivine, SR Yakumo, R Olivine in slot 3, SR Morvay, and SR Aster. Always taunt during turns 5,9,13,17 to redirect Rei's ult. For my strategy I always defend slot 3 until he uses his ult, and goes back to guarding whenever Aster uses his ult.

Why would I? My interest in the game is close to zero and the game has so many problems that I can't bring myself to care if it fails. I could ignore the translation issues and even the server problems that always happen when games release, but they copied Epic7's gacha which is pure garbage, even the game's biggest selling point which is the secret club uses stamina so you can't play with the boys to your heart's content. Maybe it works like NuC and once you reach max ero level you can do that without using stamina, but at least NuC knew better than to have you use the same stamina you use to run stages in the intimacy rooms.

Huey's first masked appearance and we can't even ogle his chest. They also made a mistake in Kuya's story. They really went all out with the puzzles and workshop/research stuff. The player card bg's okay I guess. Rei seems like a mini OG Edmond with a lengthier basic attack followup. Blade's sorta OG Quincy using his ult debuffs and he can also support himself with his own heals + shields.

I mean, NuC's devs are completely new as far as I know even though they had help from Tenkafuma's devs and yet they delivered a better product so having little experience isn't a good enough excuse.
I think it’s less about experience and more about budget and staff.
But also I think their biggest mistake is they’re being over ambitious: trying to release way too many languages at once, cramming in the male option at the last second, talking about console ports, etc. The whole thing has a “small passionate group dreams too big, can’t keep up with their own concept creep” feel.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but iirc NuC also has a small dev team, they're a new company too so I doubt their budget is that much higher, though you could argue that the animated H-scenes require a higher budget, but the secret club animations in WHB could be argued to not be that far behind. In the end though, we don't know the exact situation of either company, but WHB was also delayed multiple times so I think it's reasonable to at the very least expect a little more polish than what we got.

I have no doubt that the english fanbase is big (for a gacha), looking at their twitter they get a lot of engagement. They def don't spend as much as the eastern fanbase but this is usually the case with all gachas not just nu:c. I think the only western whale I've seen is a resident wife sister.
By the look of the event SRs, Quincy and Grandpa are in the top 4 for sure. Wife and Snek being the other two of course. The character tax don't lie.
I would say that those four are easily the top earners judging on their popularity on social media and the prices of their merch from the resellers, the others are kind of a mess. I'd call Garu bottom tier and that's it, I have no club where the others would fit on the scale. Olivine would maybe be mid, you could push Yakumo or Edmond to high mid if you wanted but the rest seem like they are just trash when it comes to moneymaking.

Finished the final 60th floor of Sorcerer Trials Season 9. It reminds me of the second season of the Trials' boss match with Dante in lecture mode. Basically you'll need to use your guardian taunting to absorb Edmond's ult every 4th turn after turn 5 while using your healer's ult at the same turn to survive his hits. Next turn after that defend everyone. Keep up the attacks until his HP drops down to 50%, and then 1% to defeat him.

There's already L rank tier art asset for Gabriel, so I do think all the seraphs will be playable in some form. The Gabriel given in the preorder package is S-rank with no special art, so it'll probably stay exclusive.

Just got back from finishing the final stages of Lost Relics Season 5.
8-1: Needs your second strongest low cd units (no aoe), a healer, and an optional buffer if your team can't break the shield easily.
8-2: Needs a guard breaker, a good healer, and three other attackers. A Kuya heal debuffer unit along with a buffer is optional. Focus your attacks on the chef. Use your guard breaker unit to hit the chicken once it [loses its head] to paralyze it, and continue attacking the chef. Repeat until the chef dies before you can kill the chicken.
8-3: Same as last challenge event. They need to be killed at the same time or else the survivor will nuke your team next turn. Lower their HP to 10% then kill both at the same turn. My strategy used SR Morvay + SR Aster. Depending on the enemy status, use Morvay's taunt every 4th turn to shield your other units from being toasted with Chef Yakumo's aoe ult. Target Eiden then ult Yakumo every time until their HP's lowered enough for your ults to finish them.
I used all my nukers on 8-1 and now i'm stuck on 8-3 trying to nuke down the shield

Nah man. You need to wait until their shields are down before you carefully use your ults on them until they’re both weak enough to be killed together. It’s a matter of timing. That’s why my vanilla SR team finished the stage whereas I lumped the few useable SSRs I have into 8-1. 8-1 outright kills you if you can’t break the shield, but 8-3 lures you into trying to waste your ults removing it when you can just wait it out. 8-1 bird needs to be hit with ults 3x so his regenerated shields will be weaker.

Essentially strikers will get a buff to stop their ults from being reset if they guard on the turn they'll be hit by the enemy ult. otoh the other enemy will target one unit & you need to guard them or else they'll bite it the next turn if their HP's low.

Pancake shop's reopened and the daily limit for exchanging red keys is actually pretty high, you can get a 10 pull everyday. The more significant rebalancing were the dupes to pancakes getting nerfed a few days ago.
This means that gold keys are a lot more valuable now, as the main source of pancakes and thus red keys.

Decided to pull on a second account, got Mammon dupe and Leviathan's artifact on the second 10 pull, got another Mammon dupe + Satan + Mammon's artifact a while later, got Beelzebub from the 30 keys I bought from the exchange shop and lastly Leviathan from the last 10 pull from the 3 I got for having 25 of the boys. The Incident stages ended up being pretty simple. I1 was just getting the two automations to a certain hp and killing them before they explode, then kill blade. I2 was kinda like kuya's fire stage, you just block to erase turn by turn damage and hit the bear until it dies.
I3 is reducing Kuya's and Huey's HP to kill them at the same time (if one of them is left at the end of your turn then you get instakilled), their attack patterns loop so you can take your time reducing their hp (helps to have morvay on this stage).
Their main target is the third slot and Kuya's targets include paralyzing slots 1 and 5. I put Morvay and another striker in these slots and put my support and healer in slot 2/4, doesn't really matter who you put in slot 3 (I put Quincy there) as long as it isn't a healer. When "Counter Barrier"/"Terminate Core" happens defend your whole team, Huey and Kuya both do a counterattack on the 3rd slot if you hit either of them this turn. When Kuya paralyzes your units defend your healer, next turn Huey will do an AoE and Kuya with target your healer. When Kuya sets your teammates on fire (slots 2/3/4) use Morvay's ult so "Weaken core" won't hit your 3rd slot next turn. When Thick Haze happens you can't do any damage to them so don't bother doing anything, this is the end of the attack loop so they'll just repeat the same moves
