I agree, but there are some games I feel like they should made exceptions for, like games that aren’t console sellers (Fire Emblem), games that’s aren’t very popular or had a mixed reception (skyward sword, metroid other M), old entries that become obsolete as soon as the new one releases (every mario kart before 8, old mario sports games) and games literally no one gives a frick about (clu clu land, devil’s world, sushi strikers)

they have no reason to though, SV sold faster than this while also netting them hardware sales to boot. their exclusives drive hardware sales with a much higher attach rate than Sony's or Microsoft's do, that's part of why the latter two started porting to PC in the first place.

Pokemon GO could had done that better with real world encounters with battling people for badges and not just collecting. A LOT of smaller Japanese companies that aren't controlled by a mega publisher like Capcom, Squeenix, Bandai Namco, or Sega do stupid as frick things like put an overly expensive title on Steam, rarely put it on sale or get its name out there through events (ie even those like NIS or Falcom always have stuff on discount coming up and Golden Week sales, holidays et) or support selling the game on 3rd party legit keysellers (like those listed on Isthereanydeal), and then wonder why their shit bombs or at least doesn't sell to anyone except the hardcore superfans. A couple examples I can think of this off the top of my head are

What are you talking about? I put LTH on my Steam wishlist just to track it for sales and the like and it hardly gets any. Its not on any legit keysellers like Humble or Fanatical, and ITAD shows it as only direct on Steam and with a maximum sale of being only a 10% discount over 4 fricking years later. Is it any wonder it doesn't sell? Nobody even knows its there, as opposed to how whenever there's a holiday sale on Steam, GMG, Humble etc... every Square Enix title published is pushed to the forefront on multiple sites introducing even those who didnt go looking for big names into new stuff (or old stuff, like Lost Sphere or whatnot) . When sales come around even for lower profile Kiseki or Falcom titles, I can always see them available and at considerable discount worthy of giving them a try especially if older, but LTH is nowhere near. It gives the impression that Game Freak is used to their shit being pressed by name recognition and Nintendo as Pokemon, so they're not bothering with anything else. Hell, looking at Game Freak's titles on PC they're pretty bad even for JP devs as far as how little exposure they allow their titles.
This aside from LTH being perhaps not so great, as their older games like Giga Wrecker and Tembo the Badass Elephant (published by others and have been allowed to go on sale) at least get more exposure, are included in multi-game bundles and the like .

It's just a call for Pokémon games, which have historically shown up on non-Nintendo platforms including PC already, to put those mainline games on PC. Nintendo's strength has always been their 1st party game titles and their peripherals - they can do both released on PC with games sold on Steam etc. The Switch IS basically an old Nvidia Shield Android tablet with removable controllers and a dock, just with a proprietary OS crammed onto it. People would easily buy many of the big Nintendo titles on PC - can you imagine the cross play from Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe , Splatoon 3 etc? How about a whole genre of fitness games that work with the peripherals like Ring Fit Adventure and Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star? All the various Fire Emblem titles, Bayonetta, Zelda and others that would be suited without having to frick around and emulate would mean more direct sales. Consoles as a concept are outmoded, so Nintendo capitalizing on this would mean they'd no longer do stupid shit like only put garbage gacha games on mobile like Fire Emblem Heroes instead of 'real" Fire Emblem games recent and older alike etc. Pokemon would just be the smallest part of the benefit of Nintendo selling games on PC.

SEGA is doing better than ever and has expanded their studios under their umbrella and as I mentioned elsewhere they realize that PC players do want their games and all they need to do is not be morons about pricing and make good ports and/or concurrent releases of new titles. Sega went through a handful of reoganizations that had nothing to do with hardware or lack thereof, made a lot of bad decision in the past but eventually came out of it and have been doing well ever since Now if only they could get ahold of Vanillaware...

This is basically pining for the old boom days and even then they fouled up in many ways (the SoJ vs SoA issues, the 32X vs Saturn, Saturn vs Playstation, Dreamcast coming onto the scene a little too late etc). By the same comparison you could say that Nintendo is failing because its not longer the days when like 1/3 of all households in the US owned a NES or something. Sega's hardware didn't make them great and things like arcade divisions and the like evolving are part of the issue - you can't stay stagnant when shit isn't working, but its not all because Sega did something wrong its just a different arcade situation than it used to be even in Japan and of course in the West the arcade is for the most part dead as a mass market trend (outside of "barcades", retro, and very niche communities).
Sega could have just died at the end of the Dreamcast era but they evolved into something better and have been generally (though not perfectly, given denuvo and other shit) embracing PC as a major platform as a publisher. They don't need to maintain a whole console platform to be successful (and don't need to deal with the costs of doing so which are considerable - even fricking microsoft is failing at this but can afford to piss up a rope because they're microsoft) and games they published are sold all over the place. They have a lower cost of doing business and a wide reach andif they keep doing smart publishing jobs they'll continue to succeed.
