    Almost all JRPGs made after 1999 (as well as quite a few made before that point in time) would benefit a lot from having their script optimized by cutting at least 50% of completely pointless chitchat. But modern devs are too scared of the voice actor mafia and the otaku crowd, so they keep the scripts stupidly inflated, even though they know that that shit is hurting the quality of their games.
