Those are separate translations made from the Hebrew original. They are not "re-re-translations," but direct translations. I'm not sure what you are trying to say. There are at least 14 different translations into English of crime and Punishment. Does this negate the Russian original in some way?

It means that the "modern" translations of the Bible aren't direct, accurate and are causing confusion. Firmament is the accurate translation, while "Sky" is not, but Sky came after? Why did they change it? It cannot possibly be to hide something, can it?

There are old translations such as the Catholic Douay Rheims which are translations of a Latin translation. People often use "translation of a translation of a translation" or something like that as some sort of talking point. If you're just saying "There are multiple translations," then, so what?
