How many runs do these people do can I still get it just keep checking the website??
>Our games are made to order during a pre-order window except when they're not make sure you look up which one :*~~) >Our games are also SUPER LIMITED except when we dump a bunch out to retailers and hoard them for cons and our shitty store :*~~)
Seriously frick this dogshit company. I'm still waiting on the Scott Pilgrim stuff I ordered from them in February of 2021 despite them bombarding me with emails about it being almost ready. I also heard that sometimes they just get first dibs to cash in on all them hype and then other actual stores get to sell the game so hopefully that's what happens here.
Yeah, Burst only got a physical release in europe for the west, and I think Deep Crimson was very limited too even compared to the american release which could be found on stores months after release for cheap.
I got robbed by my crackhead housemates. They stole my 3ds, just when i was collecting all the masks in Majoras Mask. I also played Senran Kagura, and it was a fun distraction from the grinding poverty and desperation i found myself in.
The police arrested them for attempted murder and car theft a few days later, but by then the 3ds was long gone.
The first and only good game in the series
Back in a time when Marvelous actually cared about making a fun video game AND good ecchi. Every game since this game has been toned down in gameplay and sexiness that it's not even funny.
>Marvelous cucked hard not sure why most japs did
Sony. All of the future games mysteriously not having a breast slider just so happens to coincide with the literal next game in the series being Shinovi Versus on PS Vita, which was right around the time The Last of Us started becoming MASSIVE and the ideology shift to California started in Sony.
is re:burst on steam any good, or what's the power ranking for this series? any autists/coomers want to chime in?
>is re:burst on steam any good
Yeah it's good, it's just a remake of the first game but with extra characters (that are DLC) >what's the power ranking for this series
SK2 Deep Crimson > SK Burst/Burst Renewel > Shinovi Versus = Estival Versus (they're basically the exact same game) > All of the spinoffs (they're all completely different genres so it's hard to put them on a list. PBS is a third person shooter, Peach Ball is pinball, Bon Appetit a rhythm game, Reflexions a dating sim)
>they're basically the exact same game
Actually play Shinovi and Estival for 20 minutes each and tell me with a straight face the latter doesn't feel like a molasses version of the former.
It introduces Kagura and Naraku, that's relevant enough. Not like Estival or PBS are relevant right now anyways, they are in the same situation as 2 right now.
>if you absolutely need more
Estival Versus
Peach Beach Splash
Bon Appetit
>if all you have ever wanted in life is to touch a Senran
Reflexions
>the rest >

thanks bros i just skip the story but i like the gameplay
nude mods are also less erotic than the vanilla game in my eyes
Eh, I wouldn't skip Burst's story. It's simple shonen stuff but the characters are so endearing there that it's 2022 and look at us - we're STILL talking about Senran Kagura. That's in good part because of Burst's characterization that people still any kind of strongly about this series.
Bros wtf is the canon in these games
I played burst where the hanzo and hebijo stories have different stuff happen, then i played shinovi which seems to be a direct sequel to hanzo but with four routes that all contradict each other, and now i just started senran 2 which also seems to be a sequel to hanzo but immediately after it instead of months later like shinovi which means its before shinovi but they didnt mention it and its called senran 2 despite being the third one released? i dont get it
They explain this in the next game (Estival), basically there are different timelines and they all happened. The first game (Burst) also has 2 different routes that don't add up.
Deep Crimson (aka SK2 aka the game in the OP) is also a separate timeline, both DC and SV are sequels to Burst, but EV onwards only follows SV's canon. But characters from DC jump into this timeline anyway in later games.
Deep Crimson is a sequel to the first game AKA Hanzo's story in Burst while Shinovi Versus follows from Hebijo's story, it's not that complicated, but at the same time it's never been truly consistent. Shinovi Versus and PBS also have 4 different stories with different events and ending after all, and the later even follows directly into an united story.
One, some characters do have slightly different proportions. Offhand, Hikage and Yagyuu are noticeably smaller than, say, Haruka or Murasaki, never mind further outliers like Kafuru and Mirai.
Two, have you ever modded these games? Have you used the body slider mods that the game has in-engine? I don't blame them for sticking as close to the one body type that they have, not while using these primordial tools. They need to update their shit.
I'm not sure, I have it downloaded on Citra and I was able to launch the game and play the first ten minutes and I didn't see any issue. However, it wouldn't be the first time a game played normally for a little bit only to then constantly crash later...
Emulated it on PC like a year ago. It was perfect and looked about on par with Shinovi Versus. No glitches or slowdown whatsoever. You can even sideload the DLC content, there are 3 packs and they're pretty neat side stories.
- The one where Mirai steals Kagura's balls
- The one where Mirai uses Haruka's special medicine to steal everyone's boobs
- The shmup with giant girls
There's also an extra playable character, Ikaruga's brother, the only playable male character in the series
Only if you get the DLC. Really feel like this reprint should just include it but that would probably take too much effort on all parties involved for them to care.
LRG terrible customer service and shipping delays, an F-tier Xseed special edition with no real incentives to buy it, and not being able to buy the DLC because the store is closed.
Depending on where you are the XL will probably be cheaper. In america at least they didn't really do a wide release of the normal size one. I have the normal size one myself and don't really have problems with it or anything but if you complain about small controllers a lot you might want an XL.
I bought it a longtime ago. Although 2 months of having it, only then did I look at the instruction booklet and it had some errors. Pages 12 through 23 were missing and in it's place were repeated pages of 6-11 and 24-29. I emailed Xseed about it, and with proof of receipt they mailed out new instruction booklet. And in order to keep the booklet flat, a copy of the Shinovi Versus OST was used.
I really didn't want to go down the game collector rabbithole but I guess I need to.
So I should make an account here, right? On "Limited Run Games", just to be ready for next time. How often do I need to check the site to make sure I don't miss anything? I remember there being other outlets that offer limited physical games to, does anyone know of what those are?
Did this game get a digitl release or something?
Always wanted to play it but $80 is a bit much for a 3DS game.
shit dude it was a limited release and its already sold out
>Sold out
>Except you can still pre-order it?
Did it really sell out?? Is there any way I can still get it?
WHERE did it sell out at?
Limited Run Games' website.
https://limitedrungames.com/collections/archive/products/senran-kagura-2-deep-crimson-3ds
No no no what the FRICK.
How many runs do these people do can I still get it just keep checking the website??
This one is a reprint of the original which was released almost a decade ago, I wouldn't expect it to happen again.

Is Limited Run just reprinting the soundtrack bundle XSneed put out in 2015?
Seems that way, yes.
Just hack your 3DS. I'm a moron and I was able to do it in like 30 minutes, because yeah, I'm not paying $80 for a used copy of SMT4:A
Just pirate it.
And yes it was a limited release.
The game is very decent.
I got it digitally a while ago. The eShop still works if you have eshop credit via point cards or a linked Switch account to add funds from.
Best one in the series.
Is that a girl Zoro?
Why did you buy a 3DS game bro. Not only that, you literally bought a physical copy of a Senran Kagura game. What if someone sees it?
Who cares? I own a copy of Lollipop Chainsaw and Onechanbara Bikini Samurai Squad
shovelware
Fun, great ost and fanservice.
>only game more expensive is the triple fire emblem set
How? Is it one of those obscure games crazy collectors always need to get a full collection?
Because that's the worst Fire Emblem ever.
>cex
How much better is the ebay price?
iirc both senran 3ds games had extremely limited english physical runs. i don't think 1 even got a physical copy in america.
>i don't think 1 even got a physical copy in america.
It did not.
Yeah, Burst only got a physical release in europe for the west, and I think Deep Crimson was very limited too even compared to the american release which could be found on stores months after release for cheap.
Fun game. It also utilizes the 3D gimmick better than most first-party games did. This game was also the end of the franchise in hindsight.
Hidden gems for 3DS lads? Finally modded mine and don't know where to start.
If you like jrpgs and don't mind jap Toushin Toshi 3ds and Metal Max 4 diva.
I miss my 3ds.
I would be more worried about living with someone who tried to kill another person
Implying he isn't the leader pretending to be innocent
thats crazy anon, im sorry for your lost 3ds.
hahahaha imagine being a member of the lower class
breasts
action
is the first one good?
Yeah. A little janky gameplay wise, but great lore and characters.
The first and only good game in the series

Marvelous cucked hard not sure why most japs did. Maybe something from their goverment. Something unspoken.
>Marvelous cucked hard not sure why most japs did

Estival fricked everything up with super armor bullshit.
>Estival fricked everything up with super armor bullshit.
Frick you I forgot about that purposefully and now I'm mad
i thought pbs was a mainline game and not a spinoff
It's "mainline" in the sense that nothing that really makes it relevant has happened yet.
It introduces Kagura and Naraku, that's relevant enough. Not like Estival or PBS are relevant right now anyways, they are in the same situation as 2 right now.
Not playing it until 2024.
Why then?
Because Limited Run Games is very, very, VERY slow to roll their products out.
t. still waiting on the Valis collection
Yeah, that sounds right.
is re:burst on steam any good, or what's the power ranking for this series? any autists/coomers want to chime in?
It's basically the story of the first game in the gameplay and graphics of Estival Versus.
thanks bros i just skip the story but i like the gameplay
nude mods are also less erotic than the vanilla game in my eyes

Weird
How can one post be so based?

The only good game in the entire franchise.

unironically waiting for a period of time between 9-14 months for your purchase to arrive at your home, my condolences
Kusoge with breasts
Congrats, bought it too. Also breasts.
Better get the DLC while you can before the 3DS shop shuts down.
anyone who still uses a 3ds has modded it by now.
No.
Bros wtf is the canon in these games

Sameface same boob size but with different hairstyles.
Swear to God, DC is the only time they actually tried with the production values. Game's just so expressive.
You ever see the opening movie to the DLC? Just the lip synch alone is above the rest of the series.
How well does it emulate? I want to replay it.
I'm not sure, I have it downloaded on Citra and I was able to launch the game and play the first ten minutes and I didn't see any issue. However, it wouldn't be the first time a game played normally for a little bit only to then constantly crash later...
It just werks on my Deck. The only slowdown I had was with the opening video.
Game works in general and the only problems is in pre rendered cutscenes being slow and delayed subtitles.
Emulated it on PC like a year ago. It was perfect and looked about on par with Shinovi Versus. No glitches or slowdown whatsoever. You can even sideload the DLC content, there are 3 packs and they're pretty neat side stories.
>3
The boob slider, the Crimson Kaijus, and what else?
IIRC
- The one where Mirai steals Kagura's balls
- The one where Mirai uses Haruka's special medicine to steal everyone's boobs
- The shmup with giant girls
There's also an extra playable character, Ikaruga's brother, the only playable male character in the series
To add, you can unlock Ikaruga's brother, Murasame, using a save of Burst too.
>- The one where Mirai uses Haruka's special medicine to steal everyone's boobs
The writing for that was godly
>You'll become a jiggle junkie!
Oh right, the european special edition came with a mousepad.
boobs
Breast slider
Only if you get the DLC. Really feel like this reprint should just include it but that would probably take too much effort on all parties involved for them to care.
They didn't want to pay for larger cards since the DLC is bloated as frick requiring over a GB.
how do i use that breast slider everyones talking about? just got the game 2 days ago
You get the DLC and finish the bonus story that unlocks it.
thanks, i'm about to make their boobs smaller
>He didn't already own Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson Double D Edition for Nintendo 3DS complete in box
But I did, and the japanese one with the little figurines too. I think the later was even cheaper and got it before the western release.
That beneath all the titty meat there is an actual story with depth about duty, motivations and friendship. Not joking.
LRG terrible customer service and shipping delays, an F-tier Xseed special edition with no real incentives to buy it, and not being able to buy the DLC because the store is closed.
>and not being able to buy the DLC because the store is closed.
Not yet.
That's probably why they had limited stock, they want to get the game out before the eShop closes down.
Anyone here think its worth getting one of the new 3ds/2ds models?
A n3DS is just better so yeah. They're more expensive than the base 3DS model but you can do a lot more with it, especially cfw-wise.
is the XL worth spending extra on?
Depending on where you are the XL will probably be cheaper. In america at least they didn't really do a wide release of the normal size one. I have the normal size one myself and don't really have problems with it or anything but if you complain about small controllers a lot you might want an XL.
Jiggle physics. That’s it
I bought it a longtime ago. Although 2 months of having it, only then did I look at the instruction booklet and it had some errors. If I miss one, what are my options?
ebay?
ebay, but now that it has LRG on it it's going to cost like 5x as much as it did a week ago.
Even the older release?
So I should buy this $100 one before it gets higher?
if you really want the physical release then i would say yes
2nd hand or emulate
best senran kagura title
silly
nice bitties
Is yumi in the game
no
No that's why it's the worse selling main game.
No, which is why its so good.
behold: the ultimate senran kagura
yumi bad, redditrans good
