Chapter 13 is extremely horrible. Be prepared.
Fishing is a very good minigame. Learn how to fish from YT, Thre are 100+ fish to catch. You need lategame items just to get high level fish.
If you really love the combat, there are hard lategame dungeons. The hardest dungeon restricts you from using items.
Combat is easy but Noct's kit is really diverse. Try mastering finishers and the game becomes a lot faster and more fun. To do a weapon finisher just attack and then pause and attack again. You and also attack weapon switch and attack again for a finisher. Unlock all of the early nodes in the combat tree first to make the combat less clunky.

5-6 straight side quests (and then sleep in the 2x/3x experience points places) are enough to make you so strong that you can beat 95% of the enemies (including all of the story bosses) without pressing/holding any button except for the attack button.
3. The entire game goes to shit after chapter 8.

What makes 16 a bad game to you? I'm about 30% through and so far its everything I wanted but didn't get out of 14 so I am pretty impressed.

it's the FF game with top-tier hangoutitude anon enjoy your time driving around with the boys
A pretty comfy ride with some issues tho, most of the story is outside but by the end its still a Final Fantasy game through and through.
