The worst generation by far. Should've gotten a gen 6 game.

I've played SV. It's an unfinished game with immense potential but Gamefreak and Nintendo are too fricking greedy to ever put time into a game.

My 3ds broke so I never got around the playing it. I'll fix it at some point and play it but it seems so out there concept wise. Although dynamax seems fricking stupid to me and so did Terastalizing so I can't complain about the gimmick at least.
Better than plass at least
The DLC is kind of fun but the main game is bland as hell. Some of the worst level/area design out of any region in the series.
A lot of the Pokemon introduced are pretty neat, however.

It's an upscaled 3DS game, and not a good 3DS game.
Toss it in the garbage
DLC really elevates the experience and since it’s your first time playing you pretty much have a postgame goldmine. Enjoy yourself.
It's like gen 6, where it's just sorta there. Lore-wise, I do appreciate that it tried to make the Pokemon League feel like an actual spectator sport and not... whatever the hell it was in past games.

Much better experience than playing the vanilla version.

As soon as you get off the train, get back on and go to the crown tundra dlc area. Lose to the first trainer to meet you out of the station, then go to the next waypoint for a free LV70 suicune. Roll through the game or keep playing the dynamax adventures for more guaranteed capture high level pokemon
