Good game.
More action than RDR2 which makes for a better balance.
Be sure to play Undead Nightmare after you beat the singleplayer, it's one of the greatest DLCs for a reason.
Yes. Though not for RDR, since the PS3 port was garbage to begin with. There's no reason to care now that Ryujinx runs the Switch version perfectly.
absolutely not. Thanks to the disasterous ps3 cpu it wont be for a long time
Lying homosexual. RPCS3 is FAR more advanced than Xenia and can play far more of the console's library. Xenia is a pile of shit with horrible compatibility. Presumably you're some poorgay running an i5-2500K and are upset that you need a CPU made this decade to get decent performance.
rpcs3 is more cpu demanding while xenia is more gpu demanding. personally I haven't had any problems with either, played through lost odyssey at 4k/60 recently.
rdr 1/2 and the amount of enemies they throw at you is built around auto aiming. rdr2 is a bit worse, you can be in a forest can't even see the 30 enemies they chuck at you and just rely on the auto snap on spam.
Actually, I stuck RDR in my Series X the other day and was impressed to find that the multiplayer servers were still running and there were people playing it

They didn't bother to include multiplayer in the Switch/PS4 ports, meaning the SeX's back-compat is still the best way to play.
>Because RDR never was and never will be a competitive game

Multiplayer in Red Dead Redemption consists of multiple game modes, and allows players to play co-operatively (with the Outlaws to the End DLC) or competitively through an online connection.
Amazing game until you enter first Mexico town.
Boring railroaded cutscene simulator until you get back from Mexico.
Absolute trash game until you kill the big bad.
Soulful game all the way to the credits.
in my case the performace seems also to be better on ryujinx. Maybe because it runs on vulkan instead of opengl.
(Im using the generic 60fps cheat on ryujinx)
jail time you pirate frick, YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES
If rockstar released it on PC I would've bought it.
Now they can suck my dick.
so you think you deserve to steal food from the developers mouths???? frick you you pirate pig
Yes?
kino
same
Just emulate it with Xenia at 60fps
Both runs with stuttering on my 3950x and 3090TI with FPS sometimes tanking to under 30fps.
Switch port runs at 45-60 at 2160p
ryzen 3000 too slow for rpcs3/xenia
legitimate copy requires download too, moron kun

are you playing the nintendo version? isnt that a downgraded version?
No. I'm emulating the 360 version.
Isn't PS3 emulation somehow better than 360 at the moment?
absolutely not. Thanks to the disasterous ps3 cpu it wont be for a long time
Works fine as long as you have a 6 or more core CPU.
Even if it did, the prompts would be confusing as frick, since I only have a 360 controller.

cowboys
>What am I in for?
kino
I've been waiting for a port to replay it.
>kino
>broken lighting
no multiplayer, which is good because it had auto aim in competitive.
auto
aim
in
competitive
what were they thinking?
alot of competitive games have aim assist, what are you talking about
auto
aim
snap
on
aim
competitive
Rockstar is a joke of a company
rdr 1/2 and the amount of enemies they throw at you is built around auto aiming. rdr2 is a bit worse, you can be in a forest can't even see the 30 enemies they chuck at you and just rely on the auto snap on spam.
it's shit game design, made for modern lazy audiences.
>can't even see the 30 enemies they chuck at you
Things that never happen.
literally every mission you're mowing down 10-15 dudes at a time with auto aim. you could close your eyes and spam LT RT and win.
Actually, I stuck RDR in my Series X the other day and was impressed to find that the multiplayer servers were still running and there were people playing it
>no multiplayer... AND THAT'S A GOOD THING!
They didn't bother to include multiplayer in the Switch/PS4 ports, meaning the SeX's back-compat is still the best way to play.
I had so much fun with the multiplayer back in the day but knowing modern gaymers it's probably filled with exploits and cheaters nowadays
Because RDR never was and never will be a competitive game you stupid Black person

People fricking said that this game ran flawlessly on Xenia, the sun rays clip through everything
time to buy an xbox laddie. RDR in 4k looks better than RDR2 on my PC
Of course, it also has awful frame pacing on the emulators and feels like shit. Its just classic pc cope
so it's not just me, 30 fps or 60 fps the frame pacing is a mess
>feels like shit
How so?
gta4 with horses
Rootin tootin cowboy shootin
cougars
I thought they werent in missions?
Amazing game until you enter first Mexico town.

Soulful game all the way to the credits.
never played hardcore mode in the original release since it wasn't there at launch but I'm playing it now and it's fun
Another shitty Rockstar game. All of their crap is exactly the same and not worth playing.
is it any good on Switch?
I haven't installed it yet.
A dogshit gta4 clone but with horses instead of cars.
It just feels so... neutered after playing the second game.
talking and horse asses
Is it running good on yuzu already?
Runs great on deck with powertools set to min 900Mhz. Getting 25-30 fps in towns and 40+ fps with 60 fps mod outside of towns.
cool could never get xenia to work properly and the game runs like dogshit on ps3
are there any significant issues? I have a deck too but I'm considering playing on desktop instead
not as long as you use opengl. vulkan is broken at the moment.
Vulkan is only broken on yuzu, Ryujinx works great with latest patch
Hope they realease a proper PC port though.
that sounds so promising, I may give it a go tonight
also maybe ryujinx, although my experience with it has not been great recently
in my case the performace seems also to be better on ryujinx. Maybe because it runs on vulkan instead of opengl.

>are there any significant issues?
None that I'm aware of. It's broken in Vulkan but OpenGL works great.
how much worse does the switch version look, is it the new best way to emulate on PC?
Looks great it's best and easiest way to play it on pc now.
