If you count Nocticula, then it's only fair you count Deskari and Baphomet as well.
If you count Irabeth, then it's only fair you count regill as well.
It's not really as dominant as you think, it's just that the queen and aarelu are both females, so the plot does indeed have important females.

The point is that if you say that all people in leading roles in the game are female you are lying.
There are cahracters in leadership roles that are male. Deskari is the leader of the invasion and regill is higher ranking than Irabeth in their respective jobs.
Regill is the leader of one, of 3 named groups all under the banner of the hellknights higher up leadership. And thats one character. And again, Deskari is ONE OF THREE demon lords showing their shit in the campaign and not even the main one. Both Baphomet, whose lord is a chick, and Nocticula who is a chick. Also Deskari's main lord is again, a chick.

She appears once and dies, you can't be serious. Deskari (male) is the first villain introduced by the game and you see him jumping in the city and beheading a female dragon with no effort.
Baphomet himself is male.
Regill leads more men then Irabeth ever did, in more important missions than Irabeth has ever seen. She has a total breakdown in act 2 while he remains collected even at his lowest point.
Does the game have more female than male important characters? Yes.
Is it disingenous to claim all important characters are females? Also yes.

We were talking about characters in position of leadership, we could do a list about importance in the plot and it would be different, and irabeth would be pretty low in that list since she stops being relevant after act 1, unlike Anevia.

lmao god no Nenio is unbelievably broken. Scroll Savant was designed with reasonable restrictions to gold and scrolls. Neither of which is a problem here.

It's definitely lacking in this game since every enemy has True Sight. But Phantasmal Killer/Weird is extremely good especially with all the unique Illusion DC bonuses you can get.
I should also add you can just get the UMM and respec mod setup pretty easily. And then just respec her into something else, preferably something less broken and gimmicky. Basic Illusion Wizard for example.
She's a grease dispenser until grease stops being as useful, and then she is never interacted with again. I'd rather use a sub-par build on any other companion to fill the gap than have her around

The point of Scroll Savant is to put all of your Enlarge Persons and other buffs into scrolls for a pittance so when you actually go out you can spend all of your spell slots on stuns to make your killing even easier

Don't let it auto level, but also if you're playing on anything below core (which you should if having to level companions is a concern for you) you don't need to bother multiclassing or dipping any of them, and most of the option per level up will be pretty self-explanatory which is best.
Make sure you pick the horse for seelah at level 5 or whatever instead of the divine weapon. Free extra companion.
On lower difficulties sure. I just let them auto level on repeat playthroughs usually. If you want to play on harder difficulties you have to cheese cause the game expects you too.
