I don't know how I can be anymore specific than "best girl".
Must be talking about Liara but people say 2 ruined her. Can't think of any of the other girls good enough to get ruined. She's just so boring and has no time for you as a romance option, I wouldn't even mind her personality shift if it wasn't for this.
The first 2 games getting your hopes up, then ME3 feeling so off the whole time you know something is wrong until the ending proves your off feelings right. Frick ME3. Going into it expecting the story to fall apart might make you see it in a different light but at launch it was the most depressing Vidya experience I've ever had.
>Pick up LE trilogy on recommendation >Game has shitty and clunky combat that wasn't fixed in the legendary edition >Some of the most bland side missions I have ever seen (press spacebar on 20 keepers??) >Main missions themselves are not really anything special either >Conversations boil down to "butthole response", "good guy response", or "ask neutral question response"
but >Kino codex entries and lore, and a couple of cool characters like wrex so far >It reminds me of Star Trek a bit
Do I continue?
ME2 has better combat, ME3 has MUCH better combat
Side missions get much more flavor, if never that much more substantive from a gameplay perspective
2 has a weaker "main" quest line but outstanding quest line for all your party members; 3 has a stronger main quest but some contrived writing
Conversations are about that complex in 2 and then are dumbed down even more in 3, sorry; however, starting with 2 you can do paragon or renegade QTEs in some cutscenes which can effect things
Characters get even cooler in 2, they pretty much all come back in 2 and 3. Great side lore stuff and settings in 2.
2 is considered to be more like 90s sci-fi and 3 goes more stereotypical Hollywood war but with some of the old sci-fi flavor.
I love the trilogy but it does have some flaws. 2 is a much more polished game. 3 sorta is too but is also rushed in some areas. I say you continue and form your own opinions.
>sounds like 2 is where the good shit is at
If you're like 14 years old it is. It's were the franchise tries to get "cool" and to do that it just becomes all edgy shit for horny virgin morons. It's why they did shit like have those infamous camera angles where some obnoxious thots ass is literally filling the screen.
>implying
it's to incentivize exploring/memorizing the citadel instead of just bee-lining to the next story beat. >but I would have done that anyway
some people are lobotomites and won't do it without being told to.
1.Space Opera RPG
2.Cover base bro shooter nipping at Gears of wars heels with a Mass Effect skin and the Ability to Romance Best girl.
3.The end of a era....that ends with a wet fart of an ending because Bioware were Incompetent at this point.
What was the point of the human reaper? and why was there a sudden need for it? there are many races that outnumber humanity so why would they choose humans specifically? why not the much stronger turians or the asari?
and if the reapers take the shape of their origin species harvested than why aren't there prothean Reapers? Or are the reapers actually immortal after taking the leviathans?
>1
Drew Karpyshyn story. >2
BW lighting artist busting his ass to get a better job on other EA projects. Character writers carrying the game before they all quit. >3
What a game looks like when all the talent quit months ago.
1 is a fantastic classic sci fi TV series like babylon 5 or star trek
2 is an OK Sci fi/action series like the expanse
3 is a dumb space fantasy movie like star wars
The love of your life.
Best girl to get ruined in the third game.
You have to be more specific

Cool scifi, booba, shit ending.
Remember: indoctrination is a thing, it is powerful, and Shepard is susceptible to it.
ID theory was the only hope I had back when ME3 came out. Thanks for the slideshow bioshit. OP, shoot the starchild.
Regret
mass effect 3 is carried heavily by existing plotlines and characters. the original mass effect Andromeda characterz are awful

Good start, terrible middle, abhorrent ending.

the other 2 are not worth your time
Leave it to people Ganker to act like it 2 isn't the best one

Hard coded mouse acceleration in ME1 but not for ME 2/3. This isn't a problem if you're a controller gay though.

Jesus I had forgotten this thing.
Absolutely moronic.
Still haven't played 3 despite beating 1 & 2 nearly a decade ago. Should I?
Replay all so your Shephard carries over
I still have my save files just in case I might ever want to play 3. I was just wondering if it was worth it to do so in the end
