Okay, actually, I'll give credit where credit is due: some of the guns feel fun to shoot, mostly because of good sound design. Other than that, it's incredible average. It's so average that it'd probably be better if it were legitimately bad because then it'd be slightly memorable.

Yeah, they sort of stumble over and whatnot in accordance with where and how they got shot.
It's not like there aren't good things in Rage but it's just so half-baked.
the gunplay in rage is fine and was always fine, id just dropped the ball hard with the story
the combat is slick but the driving is annoying. worth a play though
