>y'all
you just ruined your thread moron
what's wrong with y'all?
That anon's new stepdad says it a lot so he has complex feelings attached to it.
oh noes, not that cultural appropriation.
>tfw y'all lived long enough to see y'all get taken away from y'all
Would you prefer y'uns instead?
It's really not good. You are crawling around with this dumb spider and shooting things in unfun, repetitive ways
If you've seen the gif, you've seen the whole game
Oh look, it's the "gits is not that good guys!" poster that posts in every single gits thread
What? Are you a legit schizophrenic?
This guy
really was right
Ghost in The Shell is not obscure at all. Literally Roger Ebert reviewed the movie.
How did u link another thread though anon I've never seen that before
Just double >> newbie
thanks!
>gits
>obscure
frick off
nice to see mods asleep at the wheel still
Why would mods delete some guy calling gits obscure
trolling is against the rules
This. It's like a side mechanic in a Mission Impossible game or something but hardly something that warrants a full game
I still, to this day, call it the ultamite stoner game. I remember back in the early 00s toking up and everything reeking of patchouli while playing this and sipping booze.
Good times.
Funny thing is, most people of my generation agree as much.
why did you use a 3D model recreation instead of the original art
Cringe
Just saw another "hidden gem" youtube video about this pop up in my feed. This "hidden gem" has been getting discovered once a month since release
Calm down anon, not everybody is as obsessed with c-list ecelebs as you may be
Yeah everyone's too busy being obsessed with this mediocre PS1 game. We have threads about it almost daily now
Good, it should have a thread at all times.
Why do some PS1 games look this pixelated? It's like SNES in 3D
PSX and SNES are highly related, hardware wise. Sony made both.
devs forgot to enable the 4x upscale with 16xMSAA and texture replacement pack, those lazy fricks
In case you're serious: the PS1's native resolution wasn't that different from the previous gen's systems. Though it also featured a higher res mode that could manage 480p vertical res for games that could afford to cut back on visual complexity and poly count otherwise.
wasnt it 480i though?
that game runs at 320x240 like most of the 5th gen
have you never played a non-emulated and upscaled ps1 game zoomie?
>enjoying this fast paced mech game bro? too bad, we turned it into a shitty platformer on the last level, have fun lmao
Frick this shit
There are like 3 easy jumps you have to make. I don't know why people go on about that.
Not even bad. The game started to get good at the final level. Needing to scale the wall then go upside down in the building was fun. There should have been more interesting instances in navigation in Ghost in the Shell. Simply put, if you can beat the third mission "Firecracker" you pretty much beat the game.
it's been posted here every few weeks for years
Shut up, Joe.
Is this game gfcore?
Sadly not
yes
Yeah any gal would fall for that awesome intro and the general cyberpunk vibe of the game, but the actual game is too male-oriented with lots of need for spatial awareness
It's not the spatial awareness that's male-oriented.
Girls played tomb raider which still filters le dark souls veterans.
TR doesn't require precise quick reaction, it's a more slow-paced game, same reason why Resident Evil is able to be gfcore aswell, or 3D Zelda.
GITS is a fast-paced 3D shooter with platforming, forward and reverse movement and crazy wall/ceiling strafing, it filters the female brain like noone's business.
Your armchair, sir
Oh yeah this one's gr8. Incredible OST and aesthetics
I've known about it for years. It was on the cover of multiple game magazines the month of its release too.
Do you have anything new to write about it? Personally I think it could use a PC release and a sequel.
One of the few PSX games I go back and replay every so often. Amazing controls for a PSX game when most studios were still just figuring that shit out.
Exact were great pioneers in 3D games. Too bad Sony killed them.
Sorny is fricking moronic. At least the talent got swooped by Nintendo, though their potential will still not get unleashed.
I thought all the Exact guys were MIA or maybe one of them working at sony's Japan studios.
What nintendo games did they make?
the PS2 third person shooter game is the one that is underrated
That one tried to imitate the ps1 Game on the tachikoma missions but it's wasn't as good
Great xmas game
weird how licensed games are always terrible but licensed anime games are good like 30% of the time
What was the first good western licensed game? Goldeneye?
Plenty of the old Capcom games that were basically reskinned Mega Man were good
Capcom si japanese, unless there's some capcom usa developed game
Jumping Flash yes, same devs. Notice the GUI si very similar, same with their older game, Geograph Seal.
Not sure if any of the ex-Exact guys worked on Ape Escape but I think not
Pretty sure it came later but I liked the Mission Impossible game for the n64. Controls feel weird nowadays though.
Excellent audio and visuals. Must be the same engine they used for Ape Escape and Jumping Flash.
>GiTS
>No Playable Motoko Kusanagi
oni is the superior gits
broke: wanting to play as Motoko Kusanagi
woke: wanting to play as Motoko Kusanagi piloting a Fuchikoma
enlightened: wanting to play as a rookie piloting a Fuchikoma, getting bossed around by the Major
You can play the PS2 game to play as Motoko. completely different but also good and the SAC writers were involved. It's a third person shooter with a lot of aerobics. There's also a different game under the same name for PSP that was an FPS where you also controlled the major
Sorry I meant parkour not aerobics
>tfw I missed the window for buying it for reasonable price back in the early 00s
>final boss is a helicopter on free fall from a skycraper
KINOOOOOO
>holds a controller up as he watches a film and starts squeeing
....huh?
Kinobabies are moronic.
What's a "Kinobabies"?
Damn boss was so hard, never managed to finish the game.
You can do it anon, I believe in you!
The Bosses in this game are so easy.
Eh, I'd say they are medium difficulty. That 2nd stage boss used to always frick me up, until I finally properly learned what to do exactly.
There's a few others that are also quite intense, like those that are 2 mechs attacking at the same time in one of the later levels.
I can see how they can filter people.
Stay on the ceiling for those two.
