Just spent 2 hours, 2 FRICKING HOURS
Trying to survive in this mansion and getting fricking eaten constantly and restarting
All because this bullshit room with the typewriter and the item box looked like a boss room and I was avoiding it. How was I supposed to know save ribbons would let me save? This is why you need game design testers, people.

    RE1make (2025)

    >This FRICKING mansion is infested with the FRICKING LIVING DEAD... gotta find a safe room.
    >Hey, that door over there... it's yellow. I should check it out.
    >Frick, a safe room... I'm FRICKING safe... Hey, is that a GODDAMN yellow typewriter? Maybe that ink ribbon I found earlier... If I put the FRICKING ink in the typewriter, then...
    >FRICKIN' A, it worked. Now I can save my game...

I'm okay with the excessive use of "fricking" as long as Jill does some fricking in the Spencer Mansion

I beat the game on Cube and PS4 (several times, got platinum) and I still don't know what triggers frogger to jump out (near the end of the game, when Billy is gone).
Monkeys (I think the official name is eliminator; I could be wrong) are definitely buttholes in this game.

I have the original strategy guide for RE0 and according to that, running through the area and other sorts of sound like firing a gun attract the frogs.

I wonder if that trick where you tap the direction input to move forward rapidly so that you don't make a noise works in RE0. Would be a funny way to test this.

good question. All I do know is it's terrible dying to a frog after going for a no save run. If you get caught by the frog in any way shape or form solo, you're fricking dead

The game spawns a hunter in an area where the camera never faces its direction to reveal it so it attacks you off camera down a 3 foot wide alley with no way to avoid it. The game is bad

        >runs everywhere
        >doesn't stop for a brief moment when entering a room with blindspots to listen for enemy SFX tells
the game is almost 30 years old and you're still this bad at a single player game that was solved a year after release. consider not sharing your opinions on it moving forward. thanks.

they're more like puzzle games. you have very limited resources but the games aren't too hard. if you want something more action focused you can try RE4

They're mostly pretty easy so long as you have a working brain and can understand simple inventory and resource management. Really a lot of it is just remembering where you need to use key items when you find them.

By playing RE1, 2, 3 and CV first, like any normal human being, plus by reading the game manual.

i played this 2 years ago and beat it with the help of youtube tbh. It's not a game for beginners, it's for hardcore OG RE1 heads who want more of a challenge. I mean, if that dog collar puzzle isn't an indication of that i don't know what is. Also, Crimson heads are fricking gay.

      >if that dog collar puzzle
      You call THAT a "puzzle"?
      Top. Fricking. Kek!

      >Crimson heads are fricking gay.
The best addition in the entire game. The fact that REm2 had nothing of the sort and even cut down the A/B campaign system is turbo homosexualry though.
