The actors all recently did a interview about being in the game. None of them knew it was a hit for like years it was just a job but they all seem like cool guys and love that the fans loved their work.
Is it true that all the weird line delivery was because the voice director didn't speak English and insisted they read the lines in a way that sounded right to him?
They spoke English the issue is the lines were shit and they weren't real actors just white people they plucked off the street who spoke Japanese and English. Jill's actor was literally a high school student.
Fellas should I emulate the original or just play the remake? I've started both countless times over the years but never finished either for whatever reason.
The original is much easier to get into so I'd play that first at the very least. PC port with classic rebirth installed is probably the best way to play, but the DS version of RE1 is solid outside of very compressed FMVs. Just play classic mode in that one if you want the original experience.
Both of these have doorskip, which I feel is essential for any new player since you'll definitely get lost in the mansion.
