You have to admit there's an interesting trend here. Gen 6 is far less controversial than 8 and 9 yet somehow 6 lost first when it's a rather inoffensive gen. Maybe Kalosgays should reconsider spamming anti Sinnoh and Unova genwars to make Kalos look good? It's having the opposite effect.

i agree with this but i think its ok that there were no megas of kalos pokemon but i really would have preferred they had been proper evos, since all the fourth stage ones are on the shittier end of the design spectrum anyway and could be culled, plus i think diancie only got a mega because she was supposed to just be carbinks evolution but they last minute changed her to a mythical and realized she had no gimmick or anything that made her special so they just threw a mega on her

You could've just compressed all of these points into "kanto pandering". Which is a legitimately very annoying aspect of XY, but nowhere close to a ruinous flaw.

Having the Birds is fine, Platinum had them too but no one complains about that. The Mewtwo is another case of Kanto pandering, but again it's not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things (although you could argue that it's a lore issue).

Was it this of Power Plant that's the single most pathetic dungeon in the series. (I'm going to ignore stuff like empty caves. Like the one XY has for Mewtwo)
