>quest item can't be removed from your inventory >the devs balance this by not counting as an inventory slot and having no weight >find a quest item that's a weapon or a piece of armor >now have weightless weapons and armor
Maybe this is why every npc you ever have to kill Umbra for is obsessed with the weapon, it's convenient as frick.
>key item can't be discarded until you've used it in all locations it can be used at >you missed a single spot and are stuck with it hogging and inventory position until the end of the game
What happened to me during my no healing run of RE2Make
>pick up random weird looking item in some obscure place I randomly stumbled upon >quest item >can't drop it >no idea what quest it's for >finish the game without ever figuring out what it's for
nethack has a cursed item called a lodestone that looks like a normal rock until you pick it up. You're incentivised to pick up rocks because it might be a luckstone or an item that lets you identify gems.
Anyway it's cursed so that you can't drop it and it weighs a ridiculously large amount, to the point you might not be even able to walk up stairs and be stuck in a pit if you have low strength. I just thought that was pretty funny.
>Game has stamina of any variety >moronic autist fanbase thinks it adds to the challenge and that limitations are good design over challenging the abilities given to the character.
So, does he get two pizzas now?
>keys have a health bar
>get an item to hold keys
>if you drop it all the keys get deleted
>quest item takes up inventory space
>forces you to drop an item in order to hold it
Oh, or my favorite, it's a quest item you cannot move from your inventory until the quest is done.
Hahaha, yeah, getting removed when the quest is done.
Of course they'll remember to do that...
