The planets are far too big either way. Rumor from 2 years ago is that there is a simple buggy. Also your ship has a loading ramp. If that's true they may not have shown it (apart from wanting to keep some things for launch) because it's rather basic compared to the rest of the presentation which was obviously focused on the strongest parts of the game. So definitely no big customization and perhaps only 1 type of land vehicle if any
