I don' think even LGBBQs wanted Peppermint to be a dyke. The whole game was really short but she was together for Chai the longest and the hints of having the hots for Korsica felt more forced.
The railcar scene is the most moronic because Pepper tells Chai to forget about Korsica and save himself, and soon after, she calls his name when the giant brobot fired a deathbeam. She starts having a girlboner after Korsica's surgery but it's not explored beyond a heart drawn around her portrait in the mission briefing.
