What is this shit ring?
Where is the trickster chad?
That's clearly turn 1 with the randomly generated ring.
>trickster chad
Your trickster this time is a 52 year old hag.
>he didnt roll the trickster GOD
NGMI
Hags can be Chads too especially if they are trickster
Good morning give Minara wife.
Shit I used to play this at my grandparents house. My grandpa had a mac with this, Myst, and some other shit I forgot. I never knew what I was doing in this game though
No one knows what they're doing in this game. You just roll with it.
The game is building the right shrines and realizing that most events have objectively correct choices until you do the quests and remember the game is in fact RNG.
The fun part is when you do the quests and pick the wrong choice but win anyway.
>Yeah I am pretty sure that at this part Ernalda just got up and started b***h slapping Daga.
The hardest difficulty in the GOG version is something else. I can't even set up a single fricking trade route.
It's fricking brutal. Unlike the Steam version there are no safeties for the first year. So not only do you start with multiple feuds, you can get raided on the very first TURN (not year), multiple times even.
And you lose tons of shit to those raids. You can run out of goods immediately, leaving you with no temples to defend yourself. AND the RNG is out for your fricking head. Even sacrifices with a 2 mysteries magic buff and a relevant worshipper can tell you to go frick yourself.
>hate ducks
good luck with that
Ducks are bros, is OP a...?
OP is clearly Delicti the Necromancer
>six ages was supposed to be episodic
>episode 2 gets turned into a sequel
>original game never gets updated to remove the references to future episodes
What was the point?
>it's arguably even better than KoDP
can't beat it
Acquire proficiency.
I'm telling the ducks you said that.
How the frick were you supposed to know what choices to make in the hero quest dream sequence shit things?
It's like, 'Lord Oykyamp, master of the seas, erected this monument here to anchor time; do you light incense and pray to him, destroy the monument, send a silver-vesseled prayer to Barta, or seek the grand gift?' And none of that shit is mentioned anywhere before and if you choose the wrong option your guy fricking dies.
what the frick are you talking about
The heroquests, you fricking dickhead.
you can literally just read what the right choices are in the game
No you can't. You get hints which don't matchup half a frick. Also I fricked your mother.
illiterate moron
It is literally mentioned. You sacrifice for mysteries and remember the choices you made at clan creation.
There was a Lore screen describing the entire stories iirc.
should I get this on steam or gog?
Steam has never given a frick about putting effort into getting old games to run on modern hardware, so probably GOG
yeah that's what I figured. time to get my tribe killed I guess
Steam has an updated version of the game with a worse UI but took out a lot of tedious bullshit like having to diddle your fricking patrol slider EVERY FRICKING TURN and getting your shit stolen and raided when you inevitably forget.
Shame the remake is a fricking mobile game port. Also if anyone wants to learn more about the setting I recommend the glorantha sourcebook, it's nice
God I'd kill for an rpg set in Glorantha. Something like Sun County would be a great setting.
Make friends and run a Runequest campaign
Or a MMO set during the second era with the factions being EWF vs God Learners (with Zistorwal and Traditional Orlanthi as an expansion)
Anyone play Six Ages 2 yet? 1 was okay, just a little short / easy.
Yes. It's at least as good as KODP. Really well made. Really challenging. They stepped up the artwork too.
holy shit glorantha game thread on Ganker? nice.
I still need to play Six Ages, Lights Going Out. Is it worth the full price on steam rn? I feel like such an idiot for not picking it up on release with the discount.
I only pirate shit but it is a damn good game, especially if you still remember what you did during SA1 and import your save.
I'll consider picking it up when I get some money so I don't get the feeling of 'I should have waited for a sale'.
Idk if anyone feels the same way but the changes to how food works from KoDP to Six Ages I'm... totally fine with? It's far easier for me to understand at a glance how much food I have rather than having it divided into this or that many bushels.
Posting cute Redalda
God I forgot that the tattoo on her neck is a sideways Earth Rune interspersed with Life/Fertility Runes (see the hourglass shape, though technically I think it's meant to represent a chalice but nevermind that).
I love the graphic design bullshit the Runes give Gloranthan art, it's such a nice detail.
>playing LGO
>suddenly Elmal Guards the Stead starts but IRL
