I like both, Elden Ring is incredible from an artistic standpoint but gameplay-wise it's just open world Dark Souls with Bloodborne-speed enemies and shit quest design. In contrast, KCD feels like a modernized Oblivion set in late medieval Bohemia, great immersion, incredible atmosphere, period-accurate combat, and more. ER is a very good game, KCD a masterpiece.
Do you really want a sequel now that they're owned by the Embracer Group? >6 million copies
Across three platforms. They're working on Switch version now.
Yes. >Warhorse Studios was founded in July 2011 >In February 2019, the company was acquired by Plaion (formerly Koch Media) >Koch Media's parent company, Koch Media Holding, was acquired by Embracer Group in February 2018
I unironically want a fantasy game similar to KC:D so badly.
As much as I enjoyed KC:D, the fact that it was set in the real world meant that there could never be any major surprises that the world could present, while in a fantasy game, there is always that possibility of coming across some new enemy types or unique locations.
>Skyrim is what you want
Far from it. I want Gothic not Elder Scrolls.
One one of the things that KC:D nailed and it was reminiscent of Gothic was the hand-crafted world where everything had a sense of place, of belonging, a world that felt internally consistent. Same thing with quests.
Elder Scrolls by comparison has huge, bland, copy-pasted locations and quests, and artificial feeling world and NPCs.
You're not getting shit. Vavra is in an hero mode. Though his fatass might choke first before he decides to go through with it. Anyway he has liver failure due to drinking too much. Just mod Oblivion.
outside of muh immersion there's nothing good about this game
the combat is shit
the story goes nowhere
like 90% of quests are fetch quest bullshit
save system is terrible
STILL plenty of unpatched bugs which can make you lose hours of progress
>made the mistake of starting "A woman's lot" right after leaving Skalice >those godawful fetch quests
does this apply to the main game as well or is this just a subpar DLC?
a real shame because I enjoyed the story from Therese's POV
you're going to get a lot of troll answers but from someone who loved the game, the DLCs are shit except the tournament one is pretty fun if you git gud.
>6 gorillion copies sold
Why should we care about KCD when Elden Ring is better in every way?
>better in every way
>less mechanics
>less immersion
>world infinitely less detailed
>story and characters almost non-existent
etc
KCD has more soul even if ER is a better game.
Not even the same genre

once again /misc/tards prove that they don't actually play video games
you have /misc/ derangement syndrome and are mindbroken
>Fromdrones took the bait
How pathetic
okay maybe some copies were sold
but 6 million? thats too much
The chuds/incels this game catered to were stamped out so there is no target demographic anymore.
but trannies hate this game? (because they forced themselves to)
Rope yourself, you will never be a femoid.
Why not just announce KC:D2
We want it
We need it
We crave it
That's more than 110 copies sold per day for 2200 days straight. They really expect us to believe this dreck?
it's not lineal you midwit
>lineal
oh boy
>what are averages
You're telling me they were burning even more bodies in the beginning?
Do you really want a sequel now that they're owned by the Embracer Group?

For real? It's unironically over then, only a matter of time.
Yes.

If the game had wizards and dragons in it then it would have sold 12-20 million instead.

Basically I want a first person Gothic game.
Skyrim is what you want, don't be afraid to admit it. We all want a better version of TES.

I got it from Epic. Do they count that as a sale or not?
