Kingdom hearts is light when it was convenient to be light but actually it's an Eldritch power of darkness that can destroy everything and it possible to make another one with the hearts of beings that have no hearts. Also the door of darkness is a program that is real but doesn't exist and never had anything to do with darkness beyond what you think it had, also it is light. Also it is the door to kingdom hearts and the dark realm, which are actually two different things but then they are used interchangeably. Also kingdom hearts is made from light, but is made possible because of the darkness because it is actually darkness, and the door of darkness keeps it back, and it is it and it is not actually a door but a door that was programmed in a simulation but it was actually real and really existed and exists, and the creator is evil, and then he is good, and then he is a clone of himself that is evil, that is good, and is a mummy, and also is evil and also is light and is the creator of kingdom hearts which is darkness but also made of light because the guy that made it was evil, but he was never evil until he was evil and both versions exist in the modern age because of time travel, and the time traveler made kingdom hearts in the past and it never existed until the future when it went to the passed to have a door built to keep the darkness from infecting the world, but actually he never built the door but programmed it in a simulation, but he couldn't bring the door to the past so built kingdom hearts in the future because he was good, but was actually evil so the kingdom hearts is darkness, but it is light because it is behing the door of darkness, which it isn't actually behind because the door of darkness is a program in a simulation that never actually existed except when it did in order to save the world from the darkness of the kingdom hearts which is made from pure light and is from the past but was made in the future
I think this game tried to break the fourth wall with a metaphysical link between color/light/darkness and Television/Lasers. You have two important laser pallets, rgb and cmyk. rgb being light and cmyk being darkness. Ansem was trying to create a machine that could recreate kingdom hearts. I think when you mention that it's dark but it's really light, that could be an example of cmyk where black is a simulated color, we know it's not truly black/darkness but an incredibly low frequency.
I genuinely think I'm onto something here considering 368/2's box art is red, BBS is Blue and Coded is yellow.
In continuation to that post, I think they use the theme of Einstein's relatively persistently throughout the story. I think the characters could be representations of color mixing with others in a celestial/godly mythos manner. Idk

Kingdom Hearts 1 was magical. I remember when I beat this game when I was 11. It was one of the happiest moments in my life. What the frick did Tetsuya Nomura do to this series? Why did Disney give him full creative control? He turned this series from a whimsical and magical adventure to a fricking Kojima level batshit insane clusterfrick. Goddammit
Problem is that it was game for kids to lure them in to that jrpg type of shit. Now no kids play your kids game. It's all like 30+ year old people, so you can go all in with the anime jrpg shit.
They should've maybe treated it more like final fantasy. Make each entry stand alone. Just silly willy disney jrpgs for kids. New one every couple of years that new kids can easily jump in and play.
If you mean to make each entry an episodic thing where they have a story neatly tied away from start to finish, rather than changing up the crew every time, I can agree to that.
>KH1 (Episode 1): The story's all about preventing an evil mastermind from plunging the world into Darkness and gaining access to Kingdom Hearts. The story we already got. >KH2: Organization XIII is trying to do the same but instead of plunging the world into Darkness they're trying to use Kingdom Hearts to give themselves Hearts. Mostly the story that we get, save for the fact that when they're defeated, they're actually defeated >KH3: Since OrgXIII was squashed in this new continuity, we instead turn to another mastermind that gets access to Kingdom Hearts at the very start of the game. Sora and the others need to stop him from warping the worlds to his whims, twisting the hearts of everyone to his chaotic vision (and effectively screwing with the plotlines of some of the Disney movies) >Birth By Sleep: This is a side entry released after KH3 that just gives more context to the events of KH3, where the BBS goon squad try, but fail to stop the aforementioned mastermind from reaching Kingdom Hearts
I feel your pain, the first KH was one of the greatest gaming experiences of my childhood. You really felt like you were on a grand adventure to all the great disney world's of your childhood. It was fun, the combat was engaging, the story was simple enough to grasp. It saddens me to no end that it will never recapture that glory.

And the reason Disney Filler was ever tolerated in the first place is because during the early games they used a mix of Disney Classics and Disne Renaissance movies as the worlds. Once they used those and reused them multiple times the novelty was dead.
Which brings us to the problem of Modern Disney. Modern Disney is trash. And no Encanto is shit, Moana is shit, Zootopia is shit, Raya is shit, Turning Red is shit. It's all so terrible.
>Why did Disney give him full creative control? He turned this series from a whimsical and magical adventure to a fricking Kojima level batshit insane clusterfrick. Goddammit
Aside from telling him what he can't do and making the disney stuff accurate they're mostly hands-off especially for older properties. If anything the original stuff gives him the most freedom. He wanted to have all the disney princes come to the rescue in kH1 but disney said no. Hence using more ocs. And sakaguchi advised him to do a more complex plot ala FF when he was initially going to do a pretty simple and barebones plot of "evil witch sending monsters and kidnapping princesses, kill her"
>What the frick did Tetsuya Nomura do to this series
KH's biggest issues are Disney and Squeenix's faults more than they are Nomura's. Nomura didn't mandate working directly with movie teams. Nomura didn't take himself on a 13-year wild ride with Crystal Tools/Luminous. Nomura didn't mandate an engine switch a year into KH3's development or force himself off KH3 to work on FF7R without warning.
This isn't to say Nomura is blameless. Obviously he's a chuuni motherfricker, but just about every major and consistent issue with the series aside from dialog being pretty wooden most of the time comes down to Nomura having to play ball with two of the most moron-tier companies in the industry.
It's like trying to write a story except you can only write the beginning and the end and the editor will tell you to remove entire chapters at random forcing you to basically only ever have a draft. That's what KH is like and why disney worlds are mostly padding.
Pretty much. The reason KH1 and KH2's Disney worlds are so memorable is because KH1 had less oversight from Disney and KH2 had a genuinely reasonable excuse for Sora to be effectively just fricking about for the first half of the game. Times have changed and Disney was NOTORIOUSLY strict around the time of KH3's development; ask any Marvel VS. Capcom fan, for God's sake.
To be honest I quite disliked how KH2 also went about it. To me it and KH3 were pretty much on the same level of pointless meandering although KH3 is slightly better on account of the events of the worlds being slightly more related to the main plots.
Hopefully KH4 is different because disney has stated numerous times they're trying to be more lenient and stuff with games since around 2021
Nomura also said there's been a big change that decided the future of the series although he never elaborated whether it was good or not
I think going change will be that going forward Tai Yasue will be the director for mainline KH titles and Nomura will stay as the creative director.

Nomura has expressed interest in directing other games and it seems like his vision Rebirth has come together just fine with him in the creative director roll.
I'm a little more accepting of KH2 because, again, Sora doesn't really have an objective for the first half of the game beyond "find riku and be careful around dudes in cloaks". Plus KH2 has some massive standout fantastic world plots like Christmas Town and Tron to make up for ones like Mulan being boring as shit. KH3 meanwhile has Sora dicking around when there is an active and pressing issue at and, and moreover he doesn't even seem to WANT to be fricking around— any time he goes back to the tower he goes "can I help with the actual plot yet" and is told "no". That shit was infuriating.
I do have a bit of hopium because, like you said, Disney's been far more lenient as of late. Would also love to know what the frick that "event that changed the series" he talked about is.
>ask any Marvel VS. Capcom fan, for God's sake.
The Avenger's success truly ruined Disney. Pre-Avenger's Disney used to be so chill and relaxed (at least relative to what they are now).
>MODOK? Yeah sure, why not. >X-23? Go right on ahead!! >We don't really understand your guys obsession with Shuma, but okay, you can use him too.
and then with Infinite... >NOOOOOO YOU CAN'T USE THESE CHARACTERS! MCU CHARACTERS ONLY REEEEE! >MARVEL CHARACTERS CAN'T BE SHOWN TO LOSE! THEY'RE SUPER COOL AND BADASS AND EVERYONE CLAPPED!!!! >X-MEN CHARACTERS ARE JUST FUNCTIONS ANYWHO! THAT'S THE ONLY REASON YOU LIKE WOLVEREEEEEEEE AND gayNETO!!!!!!! >WE CAN't HAVE EQUAL AMOUNTS OF MARVEL AND CAPCOM CHARACTERS!! THAT'S STUPID! YOU'RE STUPID!
With how anal Disney has become in the pursuit of profit, I'm shocked that Nintendo was able to get away with what they did with Ultimate Alliance 3. Oddly enough, Nintendo seems to be one of the few companies Disney bends the knee to. They must have some dirt on The Mouse or something.

Nintendo is the Disney of Video Game Developers / Publishers. But unironically, especially look how they rose up to their current comfort in the video game industry.
Successful series that can be carried over to new generation of games, old and new. Family friendly vision despite everyone in the 90s/00s going into gritty-edgy-mature shit.
>90s/00s going into gritty-edgy-mature shit.
And then there was the 180 against gritty-edgy-mature, which turned into quirky-quippy-thoughtless shit which which is what killed Versus 13 and makes Square so afraid to put Nomura on top again
No, it was a headache generator an absolute cringe. Disney shorts were always mediocre compared to warner ones, so I don't really give a frick about Mickey fricking shit Mouse.
You're hunting Mickey down for the entirety of KH1. You basically only see him briefly at the end. All scenes you've seen with mickey have been from future games where the games went full moron.
It's because KH1 is the best traditional Final Fantasy, because of how much of KH1 is very much like pre-7 Final Fantasy. Chain of Memories is when the franchise became more like 7 and post 7 era Final Fantasy and only cultists like modern final fantasy
The magic of Kingdom Hearts dies as two things happen....
1) The badly written original story continues to get expanded.
2) They ran out of Good Disney material so this leaves Square Enix with no choice but to shill the trash like Tangled and Frozen.
And don't give me anything. Those are shit. Kingdom Hearts can't continue like this or to put it another way......it can continue until sales keep on shrinking. And Square Enix is in for a rude awakening with Kingdom Hearts 4.
You’re over 30 and will never experience the same joy you did as a naive optimistic 11 year old. These experiences are no longer for you, time to grow up.
Remember when KH1 has a council of Disney villains? Wish they kept that concept as the main threat instead of the JRPG villains rejects that we got in the sequels.
The stakes and power levels are too high for the disney villain to matter more than an hour. They would need to make a unrelated side game starring a new character for them to matter again.
An unfortunate result of Disney downplaying villains is that we're probably never going to get something like this again. Unless you add Star Wars and Marvel, pickings for villains are pretty slim.
>Why did Disney give him full creative control?
He has always pretty much had that. In fact KH1's first year of development was just Nomura himself as Square didn't have any free dev teams to give him at the time. Disney basically just gives him and his teams a yes or no at what they can and can't use. Ironically they've interfered more in the recent games than in the past.
I get that. I recently replayed 1 and 2 after like two decades of not touching it and I think 1 still does just about everything better.
To be honest it's hard to know who's to blame. Is it Disney with mandates? Nomura going full chuuni? Was the whole shift in direction from 1 a necessity since they realized how quickly they'd run out of Disney content to use for the games?
It was so cool and special to see Mickey have a keyblade when Sora and Riku were the only ones able to wield one otherwise. Now there's a ton of random OCs with their own keyblades. This game used to actually be about Disney and Final Fantasy.
Also this. I really liked how mystical the Keyblade was and that sudden "oh shit" moment when Rikku takes it from Sora. Nowadays who doesn't have one.
>Is it Disney with mandates?
Yes, everything else doesn't matter nearly as much as stuff like the switching of teams and dumbing down of the gameplay that started with BBS
I'm not sure. Stuff like the Frozen world are pretty obvious examples of Disney being overtly in control but only 1 felt like the Disney stuff was justifiable. >Go to Disney worlds >To find princesses of heart, aka Disney Princesses >Fight Disney villains >All the while you have Sora's personal story to find Kairi and the big bad guy at the end is a KH OC
Then with 2 it's the Nomura show 24/7 while the Disney stuff starts feeling more like filler to the point of 3 being 90% filler. Is that really Disney's doing or Nomura just wanting to do his own thing?
KH was doomed from the start as a series. As a one-off it would've been perfectly fine but as a long-standing series you run into all sort of problems to the point one has to wonder if it wouldn't have been a better idea to turn all the Disney worlds into Disney influenced but legally different worlds. And since most of Disney's stuff comes from public domain it's not like SE couldn't have done their own versions.
More Nomura wanting to do his own thing but the Disney stuff becoming more of an aesthetic was never a bad thing. The problem was that when KH3 came around and there was no plot, all you had was the aesthetic of the disney worlds so there was nothing to do. No resealing of the keyholes like in KH1 and 2, No mark of mastery or anything. You're just "finding your strength" whatever that means.
KH2 is probably the last time any of it mattered where the Disney worlds all lead up to the plot twist with the 1000 heartless
>but the Disney stuff becoming more of an aesthetic was never a bad thing
I'd disagree. I'd be fine with a new KH that was 100% original, at least then I'd trust that everything is there for a reason but since KH is a Disney property it's gotten to the point that it feels more like a mandatory contractual thing. Nomura clearly wants to do his own thing but his shackled by having to spend a lot of money on Disney stuff that more often than not doesn't really connect to anything.

If Nomura was serious about going all original what he would do is make a pitch to his bosses asking them to negotiate with Disney over buying the entire rights of Kingdom Hearts original material. That would give Square Enix all the rights and privileges to go all original. But for whatever reason doesn't seem like this idea has occurred to anyone at Square Enix. This idea does not come to Nomura, to Tai Yasue, Hashimoto, etc. None of them.
Methinks that what's going to happen is eventually Square Enix will discontinue Kingdom Hearts and simply leave the series on a cliffhanger once dealing with Disney becomes way too annoying and irritating. And by the look of Modern Disney we're not finished with seeing Disney be a pain in ass. Not that Nomura and his staff are angels, they got their own flaws and baggage that has hurt Kingdom Hearts.

Hey you never know. Look at Platinum Games they eventually got the full copyright of Wonderful 101 from Nintendo. If you're willing to try you can achieve stuff.
And Square Enix employees are in perfect positions to discuss this and negotiate. It's simply that the idea never occurs to them or they really don't care too much about Kingdom Hearts for its simply a means to get profit. I mean all gaming properties are meant to generate profit but sometimes there's a sentimental factor you will never for example convince Capcom to sell Mega Man's rights. You would think Nomura would like Kingdom Hearts to be with Square Enix a Japanese company. But I digress things look foggy and bleak for this series.

>buying the entire rights of Kingdom Hearts original material
It's pretty damn tough to convince these companies to ever let go of an IP even if they'll just keep it in the vault.
I think I was a tad too young to fully appreciate KH1, but I was at the perfect age to fully embrace the young-teen edginess of KH2 without feeling cringe for doing so. I think being a bit older I was able to remember some of the climaxes in KH2 a little more vividly >Axels early game sacrifice >the anime Org 13 fights in the Nobody world >the big end boss fight with Rikku beside you
I also didn’t 100% it, so I didn’t get a big cliff hanger secret ending bullshit at the end, for young me it was a pretty open and shut series; I had only partially played CoM, enough to get an idea for the story and the other Org13 members, but the card system wasn’t for me
And then 356/2 days came out… I remember thinking “this is kind of dumb now” and fell off the wagon sometime mid BbS
Most fans are retired from Kingdom Hearts. They only came back due to Kingdom Hearts 3 hype just like how people would come back to play Half Life 3. But that's about it. Lots of people have grown older, moved on, and are mentally checked out. No matter how you slice it time moves forward and with age you simply outgrow this stuff. And Kingdom Hearts never really enticed newcomers. It's not an easy series to get into for newcomers as there's a demanding time sink.
>He turned this series from a whimsical and magical adventure to a fricking Kojima level batshit insane clusterfrick.
That's just the kind of storyteller he is. Have you played 7 remake?
One thing I've learned about Nomura is that when you put him on a leash his work is outstanding but if Nomura is the one with creative freedom, its going to be sheer insanity. He really needs someone to tell him "no don't do that, that's moronic scale it back some"
It was the ABSOLUTE PERFECT hit of Disney Renaissance nostalgia for a demographic of children who grew up on Disney just hitting their teenage years and losing their friends/innocence.
The timing of it was insane.
I almost kind of hate how deep Kingdom Hearts is burned into my memories of teenage angst and nostalgia.
Thats why 3 is so shit.
It's selling nu-Disney shit to kids that dont care about it, instead of classic/renaissance Disney magic to gay disney adults.
That, and, the combat is increasing flashier and less interactive.
Dude Disney Adults are NOT good. You seem to be celebrating them. They are trash. And speaking of which Nintendo Adults which we see at the Japanese Nintendo World theme park are also subhuman.
If youre gay for Kingdom Hearts you are atleast partially a Disney Adult.
Maybe you're not wearing the uniform or dropping thousands on overpriced park visits.
But youre 100% sold on the mythology of classic and renaissance Disney.
This is a fricking perfect chunk of storytelling and anyone who said it was confusing is fricking moronic.
Everything outside of this you are absolutely right about, however.
Made sense the first time cause Haley Joel Osment's voice got deeper between KH1 and KH2. Plus storywise it worked too. Since then I don't actually think Sora got that much older, his hair just changed
Agreed. Sorry that Osment can't get any kind of work, but his voice is bad for quite a few years now. And it's clear he is NOT a skilled voice actor at all. His most famous role is Sora and by now by majority his performances are lackluster.
The problem with Sora getting older is simply that it will always outwardly look OFF PUTTING to see an adult hanging out with Disney characters.
The Birth by Sleep trio are the biggest examples of what I mean. Terra looks way too old to be hanging out with Disney characters. He's the oldest playable male character doing this. And then there's Aqua who is the oldest playable female and funny enough Aqua's entire story in Never Land was.....she is TOO old for this infantile shit. Oh sure she learned near the end of her Never Land visit to relax and be more carefree. But it didn't matter as Aqua immediately has to go to the Bad Lands to deal with the finale of her story which forces her to get serious again because she's an adult and has adult responsibilities.
Adult characters don't work in Kingdom Hearts. They don't work as young adults and even worse if they are older. It's not Kingdom Hearts but Laguna from Final Fantasy 8 is what I mean. The man is in his forties and literally gives speeches about the power of friendship and happy thoughts and rainbows. Things like that. It looks cringe. No one wants to see an adult Sora who is still hanging out with Snow White or Frozen or Winnie Pooh etc.
Sora shouldn't be aging as a character. Sora should be a character like Mario or Sonic simply a character who is used to lead the story as it happens. No aging and no contemporary issues like Sora needing to start acting his age as he becomes a legal adult and stuff like that. None of this stuff.
So what you're saying is that if Nomura, who is furry, introduced an anthro woman Sora would find her attractive? We're talking Human Male on Anthro Female.
The events of 1, CoM, 2, and 3 combined take place over the course of a couple months at most. That doesn't exactly constitute "teenage years". And not to mention all those qt princesses he met during those travels or that time Namine made Sora yandere for her.
>Now Sora, if you start to feel sweaty and your penis gets hard whenever you two hug, that means you're ready HYUCK >Remember to take it slowly. Don't just jam your Keyblade in her keyhole all at once. Tease her to make things all the more intense. And don't forget to pull out your Keyblade when right before the beam touches the keyhole
pure retcon damage control for how he and axel acted in 2 and you can't convince me otherwise, at least with sora nomura was plugging his crush on kairi from the very beginning
Roxas clearly likes girls. Namine had him flustered in KH 2 when he first saw her. Axel on the other hand is so obviously gay it’s hilarious. Nomura just needs to come out and say Axel is gay and so KH can have some LGBT representation and then the Twitter SJWs will suck off Nomura for being so brave to add a homosexual in KH when Japan treats homosexuality as taboo still
>when Japan treats homosexuality as taboo still
this isn't 2004 lmao
better to not rub salt in the wound for the fujos unless he's got a canon pairing lined up for axel, they'll be happy with crackships
I know the last thing KH needs is more spinoffs but >Kairi going to train under Aqua at the end of MoM
would you be interested in a game where you play as Kairi with Aqua and another character (I liked Lea and Kairi's interactions and Lea/Aqua might have good banter) going around Disney worlds as part of a training arc? Maybe picking up on the Seven New Hearts plot-thread that was left dangling at the end of 3 or giving Maleficent a chance to do literally anything as an antagonist again?
I like Kairi/Aqua and wouldn't mind seeing her get a real game, Riku at least CoM and DDD
>Went from a badass assassin anti hero who did whatever the frick he wanted to a homosexual Deadpool constantly doing meta jokes and jobbing like a b***h
I will never forgive Nomura for that character assassination. Frick that hack
The worst part of that scene is how self aware Axel is. He says he's too popular to get killed off. And it's true in the worst way. He died during the tornado heartless scene but Sora revived him. And then you have to remember that even if no one revived him.....he would reincarnate. There is NO DEATH.
Axel was letting everyone know with this line that there is no reason to take any of the conflict seriously. There is no axing Axel or anyone because death is meaningless in Kingdom Hearts. That's why I lost all interest in this series. I just don't care about a story where nothing matters. The less said about other horrible ideas like time travel the better.
>And then you have to remember that even if no one revived him.....he would reincarnate.
That's not true at all. Axel isn't a Nobody anymore. If he dies, he dies for real barring someone breaking the taboo of time.
Nomura's idea of reincarnation is the old heart will meld and fuse with a new body and soul to develop into a new consciousness. However it's always been possible to remember your previous life.
Right now I'm totally expecting a new character to show up and reveal that he used to be Xehanort. You'll see what I mean.
He still uses his chakrams as a keyblade transformation which you can see in both Remind and when you watch him and Kairi fight Saix and Xion from apart
He is fujosexual, he is 100% anything the fujos crave at a given point in time. 100% gay then 100% straight then 100% bisexual then 100% asexual then 100% straight. anything fujos feel like that day.
>Went from a badass assassin anti hero who did whatever the frick he wanted to a homosexual Deadpool constantly doing meta jokes and jobbing like a b***h
I will never forgive Nomura for that character assassination. Frick that hack
>Makes a meta joke about Roxas and Ven looking the same >Makes a meta joke about his popularity >Makes a meta joke about how confusing the story is >Literally says "Sorry we're late, had a couple plot points that needed ironed out" as the camera pans over to Ven looking at Roxas >Literally says "Just bring out the big bad" >Pic related is how Axel was introduced.
It's so goddamn depressing seeing how kino Days was and then how fricking lame KH3's resolution of that whole situation ended up being. I can't entirely blame them knowing the dev hell KH3 went through, but goddamn what a waste.
I still think they should have dedicated an entire world to Data Twilight Town and getting Roxas back. imagine them reusing KH2 assets for Data Twilight Town for madimum kino
This is why I'll never understand KH3 apologists, even with Remind adding the gameplay it was missing, KH3 story is at best serviceable for what they were building up to, literally a gauntlet of "there we go we finished your story".
I'm an apologist in the sense of "most of its worst problems are due to external forces and i find it worth a playthrough just to see the effect of that" but I still don't think it's the best entry in the slightest.
Having everyone just get saved in the 3rd act felt so rushed. It should've been spread throughout the game. Roxas should've been saved first early game. Then Aqua gets saved mid game. And with Aqua saved now can be saved before the Keyblade War endgame. Then Terra gets saved in the Keyblade War like how it plays out end game. That fixes the pacing and makes the first 20 hours actually worth saving instead of saving all the plot for the last few hours of the game
>Data Roxas couldn't replace real Roxas
I wasnt thinking that. I was thinking more of "using Data Twilight Town to separate Sora and Roxas's hearts", maybe in a kind of call forward to the later Final World sequence.
It was far from perfect but I had fun.
It was good clean fun like the PS2 days, which is few and far between nowadays.
The main issue is that it clearly suffered from a chaotic development, some of the worlds felt unfinished and the story was poorly paced. Hopefully KH4 is cleaner but considering how long it's taking who knows.
When it comes to re-releases this series has done surprisingly well. >1FM
Admittedly the weakest FM of them all but considering what the Japs missed out on compared to the US/EU releases, it was needed. Added a new difficulty, optional bosses and keyblades. >Re:CoM
Made on a shoestring budget as a tie in for 2FM+ (Japan release only). Allowed those who didn't have a GBA to see what happened between 1 and 2. >2FM
The be all and end all of a re-releases. New abilities, new area, new bosses, keyblades, and an extra difficulty. Basically what DMC3 Special Edition was to its series. >Re:coded
Completely needed as the original coded was a Japanese mobile exclusive which became unplayable in time. The best combat of all the handheld games. >358/2 Days
Unfortunately it's only port off of the DS is in movie format (which misses a couple story beats and flavor text). No Final Mix re-release for this game so the original is the only way to experience it. Genuinely regarded as the worst gameplay outside of the mobile game. >BBS FM
Very similar re-release to KH1FM. Original JP version came out, the west got it later with extra stuff so the FM version was created to add in that stuff for the Japs. Added in an extra post game scenario for one of its characters. >DDD HD
Not much happened with this re-release besides coming off of the 3DS. A couple new dream eaters and a slightly more zoomed out camera. >x [chi]
This was a Japanese only browser game that later got turned into a mobile game, Unchained x, later rebranded Union Cross. Another necessary re-release so people in the west could experience the story after the original went offline. >KH3 ReMind
Similar to a Final Mix re-release but now DLC as physical re-releases are almost a thing of the past. Came up a little short of KH2's Final Mix, but again adds in new abilities, keyblade, difficulty, a new end game scenario and post game superbosses.

The yozora fight was better than sephiroth or Terra/lingering will. Only homosexual contrarians who don't play games disagree.
>have to slog through the dogshit gameplay, story, and voice acting for hours. >have to play through the shit endgame TWICE >all for a few decent bossfights
KH homosexuals cannot be helped, you are all moronic.
>you have to buy dlc to properly enjoy the main game
So the game isnt good on its own?

You can cry about it, or you can just buy the thing for the 20 bucks it goes for on sale.
It is a DLC because companies don't sell you a whole new game anymore anytime they add new content, you do realize this don't you?
Or do you want to pay 70$ for a KH3FM instead of the 30 for ReMind.

>>You can cry about it
Dunno, I am just making fun of a moronic game while a moronic fanboy defends its moronation, don't see how I am the one crying right now. >Or do you want to pay 70$ for a KH3FM instead of the 30 for ReMind.
What about them making a good game? That's also a possibility (no it isn't lol). >you do realize this don't you?
Yeah, keep licking that boot like a good boy.

It is a good game. Crit update was free, which you would know if you had played the game but you just proved to me that you didn't.
You are also too young to experience the time you had to buy Street Fighter IV 4 times. Your ignorance is showing.
He repented so he still gets to go to Heaven. That’s how it works. Doesn’t matter how many people he’s killed. How many worlds he destroyed. How many lives he’s ruined. He repent and is good again
He was just a pawn in the greater scheme, evil nonetheless but KH isn't a Christian game so you don't go to hell just because you've committed evil, especially if the evil you committed was part of a LITERAL 4D chess game where you're just a guy put there to be bad so the guy doing the good does more good.
No it's a mistake that a lot of people assume because of Auron's presence but there are multiple afterlives >Greek underworld >Davy jones' locker and they do the same up is down scene so they're also coming back from the underworld where everyone who died at sea goes >Mufasa is still with his ancestors in pride lands
As with most things in KH, they do and they don't. It seems Hades can pluck anyone he wants into the Underworld but it doesn't mean everyone goes there, it seems Hades is going to help Donald and Goofy find Sora so who the frick knows what he's really capable of.
Most likely they're going with overlapping authorities and domains, the power of waking can revive the dead because death and sleep are related, and Hades is a god of the dead and the underworld so he has authority over the dead and can summon them, temporarily, from another world of the dead.
Final World is the place where sleep and death touch and people go there when they still cling on to life. It's a sort of purgatory. You go to Kingdom Hearts after you die. That's why you see hearts float to the air when they get killed in KH
>That's why you see hearts float to the air when they get killed in KH
These are not hearts

Anon. Are you moronic? His heart flew into Terra's during his death. All he did was delay the inevitable but he still died and his heart flew back to Kingdom Hearts with Xehanort when he died in KH3

Hey you moron are you really gonna pretend that at the time of making BBS nomura had kh3 and these shitty mobile games planned out?

Anon you can literally see this in KH2 how a planet worth of hearts is floating towards Xemnas' KH

No way you're this moronic. Have you like never noticed what happens when you btfo a heartless? Where did you think they were going?
>Or the souls talk in kh4 and 3 when xemnas tells xion to off axel?
what? that's the one time he's being literal. She tells him he needs to be left alive to use him for kingdom hearts, but all they need is his the dude's heart, he doesn't need to be conscious/alive after all so he corrects her.
He repented so he still gets to go to Heaven. That’s how it works. Doesn’t matter how many people he’s killed. How many worlds he destroyed. How many lives he’s ruined. He repent and is good again
Xehanort didn't go to heaven he went to reincarnate. There is no death. And you CAN remember your previous life as shown in the mobile games. So there is no absolute death.
>worlds are worse than ever >even more needlessly complicated combat and uber abilities despite the difficulty being tuned for catatonic babies >story reached critical even horizon of moronicness
are worse than ever
Eh >>even more needlessly complicated combat and uber abilities despite the difficulty being tuned for catatonic babies
They're not complicated at all, if anything they're simpler than KH2. They are too uber for the actual difficulty though i agree on that >story reached critical even horizon of moronicness
No they need to go further.
The production quality was super high, but I never finished it because I got sick of all the Disney shit. I know that sounds weird in a KH game, but Sora would just kind of be there watching the plot of the movie play out.
You can definitely feel Disney's hand on a bunch of the worlds. Even one of the better worlds, Monsters Inc, doesn't let you beat the shit out of Randal, which feels like such an obvious boss fight I can only imagine Disney veto'd it.
I wish we got a Zurg fight so much, especially if Nomura gave him some wacky Play Arts Kai-ish redesign. I do like how the Toy Story world had a ton of original toy stuff though, I thought that was really cool.

Don't remind me of the Dark Baymax fight. I had such high hopes for that only for it to be some on rails shooting nonsense. That whole BH6 world was a dropped ball.

I completely forgot we even got Dark Baymax, I wanna know how they got that approved and why they did so little with it.

Don't get me started on the Rail Shooting. I hate that and I hate the Gummi Ship. I wish this element would be deleted from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. No one wants Star Fox in Kingdom Hearts unless you do Nintendo Worlds. Then people will tolerate it.
It doesnt matter. There have been useless funny bosses in the games that you kill in 10 seconds and they are no real threat. He couldve pull something off
No.
It would have been one thing if the game was just irredeemably shit but the game's foundation is actually decent but is missing a lot of very particular things that could have made it good and the game itself doesn't feel like it has any confidence in what it is or what it wants to do so it hides everything behind a bunch of shitty minigames and gimmicks.
decent data fights at the very end of the game that expect you to roll/block/lockon everything without moving around much doesn't salvage the rest of it being dogshit
Fingers crossed KH4 has better movement but I'm trying not to get my hopes up that we'll ever have anything like the first two games
Why can't you run in a circle in KH3? They didn't fix this in ReMind either. You step in like a square or triangle. I can't think of another modern game with an issue like this.
All modern games are like this. The animations have to look realistic, so the movement suffers by being very sluggish. Turning Sora around or running over a small rock on the ground feels like you're trudging through wet cement. I think there is a mod though that fixes this and makes turning around a lot snappier.
What differentiates KH3 from the rest is that Sora can't turn in a circle *at all*. You can at least do that in every other 3rd person game I've played since about 2005. KH3 is the only exception I can think of. I actually do have the stutter-step fix mod installed. 😀
Klonoa is not that similar to Kingdom Hearts. Klonoa travels to different worlds while he's asleep so he has no control over which world he explores. Kingdom Hearts characters can choose the worlds they want to land on. They can also choose a world to settle on. Klonoa is kicked out of worlds against his will.
Amusingly Klonoa's design is similar to Mickey Mouse's first colored design. Only difference is his collar and blue hat. Shame Klonoa is a failure that never sold well.
>Disney fricked over Billy Zane by not having him voice Ansem anymore so they can hire cheaper Richard Epcar
I’m still so fricking mad. Billy Zane loved playing Ansem and wanted to return but Disney wanted to take the cheap way out and hire anime voice actors because they work for dirt cheap. I don’t hate Richard Epcar but his Ansem fails in comparison to Billy Zane. Billy even drew Ansem for a fan when asked about Ansem from years ago
I love how 0.2 is just a long story to explain why Mickey didn't have his KH2 clothes on at the end of KH1.

>canonically gets his clothes stripped by the demon tide so he can wear on brand clothes for this scene only >it's also the only scene where they cared about the autistic billboarding on his ears >they stopped caring after this a let Nomura put him in the coat
Based... Or gay idk. They could've kept billboarding his ears. It'd look like shit in gameplay, but is entirely possible to do. I don't care for the billboarding either way but some Didney morons want it.
>Star Wars
Endor was in the trailer so it's looking like Return of the Jedi >Marvel
Who knows. SE couldn't even get actor's likenesses for that Avengers game they did.
If you're going to use Marvel shit in Kingdom Hearts adapt an original incarnation of those characters. I don't want actual live actors with their uncanny valley or Sony's Spiderman or anything like that. It would also date the entire product.
Why do you think when Batman and Ninja Turtles crossed over they used original incarnations of the characters instead of using DCAU or first Ninja Turtles cartoons despite their fame? The staff wanted the event to stand out on its own.
Yes this is going to be painful. I'm NOT a fan of Marvel or Star Wars. Well not a big one. I for one don't see what's oh so grand about Spiderman who is the whiniest super hero I've ever seen. And don't get me started on Modern Disney movies. I can't stand the shit fest I hated Encanto, Raya, Onward, Moana, Zootopia, I really fricking HATE these mid to shit movies. I hate these modern Disney characters and their shitty uninteresting stories.
I don't mind Star Wars so much. I worry Disney meddling will make it lame, but that happens to other worlds too. I don't even know how they'd go about doing Marvel unless they just follow the Avengers movies only.
KH is already clearly very inspired by star wars so I wouldn't mind its inclusion, but if marvel gets in, its gonna be MCU slop witch will make me fricking suicidal
Honestly, The Simpsons works far better than Marvel and Star Wars. Hell, if Nomura lets The Simpsons writers get involved like he let the Pixar crew get involved with Toy Story and Monsters Inc, it could actually be decent
>Smithers, that spiky haired boy with the lollygagging knuckle-dragger in Sector 7-G, who is he? Part of our Japanese nuclear youth program? >No ID sir >And the talking dog and duck? Standard radiation leak? >Not that I know of... >Intruders eh? Release the Neoshadows!
>If Nomura lets The Simpsons writers get involved like he let the Pixar crew get involved with Toy Story and Monsters Inc, it could actually be decent
How about Futurama
The more things change...
The easy answer for why they never tease with Disney stuff is from not knowing what properties they'll be allowed to use in the future.
It's the lack of Square shit you need to be worried about, not Disney. If KH3 is any fricking example they will released butchered Disney tourist worlds before they do anything with Final Fantasy properties proper outside of the original cast for the series. The FF7/8 Traverse Mash Up crew didn't even show up in KH3 until the DLC for a very brief scene.
>has a memory of "mickey mouse" coming into his room at night and humping him >I'm the one who has issues
that unironically screams "I got diddled but my mind changed it to cope", like I'm not joking there it's not uncommon for shit like that to happen
You think I wouldnt know if I actually suffered of sexual abuse? It could be a weird dream that left an impact on me, but you immediately project rape, seems like you are kinda traumatized
uh anon you've never heard of repression/denial? the mind will do funny things to cope with shit it can't handle and that's not restricted to abuse
and no I got lucky and had a great childhood, my mother is a bit of a prussian military taskmaster but hardly the end of the world growing up
>Nomura literally created an entire game just to explain why Mickey didn't have a shirt in KH 1 >It's because of Disney meddling but he wanted an actual in universe lore reason
The Autism King
I bought 1.5 and 2.5 Remix because it was like 15 dollars. The only KH games I played were Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days well over 10 years ago, and only have very vague memories of the PS2 games from when I watched my brother play them. What am I in for?
People rightly talk about how Donald and Goofy were OP with the right set up in KH1, but people really sleep on the fact that Ariel is the single most busted party member in the entire franchise:
>has MP Rage and Lucky Strike by default >balanced starting stats, meaning that you can build her as a mage or a tank >can cast Cure AND Aero >Spiral Wave deals as much damage as Goofy’s Tornado when combined with a high strength stat, it can crit, and it has a low MP cost >when coupled with Goofy’s MP Gift, she basically has near infinite MP
How can an underwater bimbo be so ludicrously broken? She’s also the most broken summon in KH3 too.
Literally just equip her with the appropriate accessories, then fiddle with her abilities and customisation setting so that she only uses the attacks that you want her to use. I usually equip her with Strength accessories and set her up to spam Sprial Wave.
>buying the entire rights of Kingdom Hearts original material
It's pretty damn tough to convince these companies to ever let go of an IP even if they'll just keep it in the vault.
The problem with KH not having Disney is that certain Disney characters are major members of the cast. Mickey alone is a huge mover and shaker in the plot, as he’s depicted as the Yoda of the KH series (both in terms of narrative role and fighting style).
People don't really like to look at it but Sora is a bit arrogant in CoM thanks to beating ansem but it's mostly covered by anger. In DDD sora is at maximum arrogance and basically acting like he's on vacation and it's only more around the end where he starts taking things seriously and gets fricked.
I really liked the progression of KH1 Sora to CoM Sora. It made sense. The frustration that sets in as everything he remembers just starts disappearing and he's in too deep to turn back and the fact that at the same time this is happening he has to simultaneously relive (and reforget) these distorted memories while some hooded freaks stand by and laugh at him. Chain of Memories is wasted being the second game in the franchise. It is the perfect game to do an in-depth character study of your MC through a unique lens and they blew it on a GBA game in the series' infancy.
Nomura's fricking insane.
Not only was Sora overly wienery, downright stupid and an butthole in KH2 but he had this weird blood lust. KH 3 Sora was a mix between KH 1 and KH 2 Sora
>but he had this weird blood lust
he just wanted to go home only to find out he needs to fight these new bad guys, who he was explicitly told by yen side are not people, basically vermin to be culled, who frick him around constantly.
it's actually a pretty good example of what blind obedience to orders can get you
Sora has always been this way. Did you forget Chain of Memories? Don't say Namine messed with his mind. All she did was pretend to be Kairi and Sora would indeed kill for the girl he loves. So yeah Sora organically has a blood lust in him. Only reason we don't see spraying blood when villains are destroyed is because it's a Disney game.
The organization turns out to be a bunch of morons willing to be mind controlled/posessed by some old man. Yes even the traitors to said organization. They are not even subhuman.
>Disney's going to make Nomura pretend they weren't godawful shit.
I mean that would be on Nomura, he already said he'd like to use the burton alice. Although considering that even literally who tier films like tron can be made into fun levels and fairly popular ones can be less liked like frozen, its all based on how they use them.
>Disney's going to make Nomura pretend they weren't godawful shit.

I hate this scene. Leave it to Disney to always shit on men. This is why men don't like Disney.
In the actual story of Treasure Island, JIm's father loves his son and dies. He does NOT abandon him like how Disney depicts in their animated version. Disney and their never ending male hatred is why they deserve to die. So sick of the male bashing everywhere by this shitty company.
They think Disney forced Nomura's hand to include the entirety of "Let It Go" but in reality Disney was definitely the one who didn't let them add "Do You Want To Build a Snowman?" in it's entirety as well.
>tfw the fricking 3DS spinoff game had a better and more emotionally charged intro movie that encapsulates the whole of the series in a triumphant manner than the mainline game people were waiting 10+ years for did.
>love KH1 and 2 but never played any of the other ones >the Final Mix collections are announced and you opt to play them all in order >beat CoM and it's fine >play BBS >our god is an awesome god.jpg >play DDD for 2 hours >pic related
Holy shit what the frick was that "gameplay" with the forced character switching i literally lost progress vs a boss because that shit switched me and the boss just gained back HP
DDD wouldn't have this problem if they just told people to bring Drop Me Nots to boss fights, most people I've seen who hate DDD always talk about losing progress in boss fights.
>game would be good if you have item that removes key feature of the game
Gee maybe the game shouldn't have the shitty character switching feature that no one has asked for and has never appeared in any of the subsequent games.
Every KH game has it's gimmicks, DDD just got the short end of the stick when it comes to them, I didn't really have a problem with it but it seems I'm in the minority.
I think DDD is better than BBS, BBS's keyblade is useless, command balance is worse, hitstun is non existant, Worlds level design is even more bland than KH2 and Terra is garbage to play as
Forced dropping is awesome. Otherwise most people would just blitz through Sora's side then blitz through Riku's side rather than evenly playing both sides. You can also clearly see the drop meter so you can plan ahead for the boss. There's also a certain excitement to try to beat the boss within the time limit. And even if you end not being able to beat the boss in time you can give yourself multiple boosts when you switch back.
It's probably my favorite mechanic in ddd and I was overall dissatisfied with the game because of flowmotion.
>Wields TWO Keyblades >Has TWO sets of friend groups >Fricked BOTH Namine and Xion >Probably gets a handy j from Axel from time to time
Our boy has become the most based character in this series
They ever explain how he could use two keyblades? And why they were Oathkeeper and Oblivion outside of "darkness and light kanji"?
And if we're going with the "he just has two hearts in him bro" reasoning then how come he could use two in KH3?
They should've made an excuse like turning the remains of DTT into a "makeshift heart" for Roxas' fake memories so that it and his real heart could share the space and you could keep the excuse going.
Who knows, maybe they'll handwave it like that.
Oathkeeper represents Kairis promise to sora and the fact hes pure light and oblivion represents the full lack of darkness within him. though nowadays id think its as gay and simple as oathkeeper ventus oblivion vanitas. although roxas is part of sora who is light, although born a nobody he lies in between dark and light. hes a husk of light born in darkness. maybe he wields two because a keyblade is formed based on the wielders alignment, ignoring world specific keyblades which i dont believe are story canon. like how bad guys have mean keyblades (and riku in kh2, though turned less mean in 3) and kairi and soras keyblade in 2 and 3. roxas being a nobody of another person who is pure light left him heart unable to place him in a light or dark category so he was given two since he is a very special case. or at least he was in kh2 because it USED to be amazing to wield a keyblade. then suddenly everyone fricking ever can have one.
I don't even know why it's so convoluted. I mean look at that other anon's response. Pure light, but also total lack of darkness? Aren't those the same? All I remember from Days was that when Xion died, whatever essence she had was transferred to Roxas (since she was his backup) and now he has both his keyblade, and hers. Nomura adding on more pointless lore to further obfuscate something straightforward is bad.
Oathkeeper is the kairi keyblade and oblivion is the riku keyblade, just meant to represent his connection to sora at least how i interpret it. He uses what is most likely the two most lore wise important keyblades to sora, especially since oathkeeper is made from slapping the charm thing onto the keyblade as a keychain.
Namine is sucking off Riku now. Roxas hit it and quit when the goth qt hit the scene. Roxas only wanted Namine so he can be the first to ruin her purity. What a chad
I never liked this shitty character and his shitty half banked existentialism. I hate how inexplicably strong he is that he can wield two keyblades even when he lost access to Ven's heart. I hate his fans. I hate Roxas. And I deeply hate how he was revived to make fantards happy. I hope Nomura and Tai Yasue utterly poisons this series until even fantards hate it.
>doesn’t like the most developed, well written character in the series who actually got to get a good life after all the shit he was forced into that he had zero control over
Frick off Black person
> I hate how inexplicably strong he is
Watch the Bourne Identity and expand on your media catalogue. Dude has had one full year of combat experiences against gigantic heartless and his own team
>half banked existentialism
How is it half baked you moron? It had a whole game and intro in KH2 dedicated to it. Literally most developed character in the franchise.
The DTD is THE door to Kingdom Hearts, but Kingdom Hearts can appear literally anywhere apparently as seen in the second game where "the worlds" deem Sora and his buddies worthy enough to just waltz in Kingdom Hearts to fight Xemnas there, the last scene from KH3 even hints that Kingdom Hearts can be made to appear in unreality.
Basically >Kingdom Hearts is the sum total of all worlds and men >Kingdom Hearts is initially summoned from a war strong enough to rend the worlds asunder >time passes >Xehanort forges a χ-blade (The car key to Kingdom Hearts) by having a pure light and pure darkness clash directly >this fails because Ventus self-destructs to break it >time passes >Ansem SoD summons a mini Kingdom Hearts from slamming the hearts of all worlds into the Realm of Darkness and then opening a door to it >Sora closes this door >Xemnas summons a mini-Kingdom Hearts by gathering the hearts of men >Sora beats his ass and DiZ breaks it to make that easier >time passes >Xehanort boils down χ-blade forging to a science, figures out you can make it by having 7 lights and 13 darknesses slam into eachother in rapid succession >sora beats his ass and takes the car keys
You forgot to mention that Xehanort also wanted the Ventus/Vanitas experiment to end up in a being of both pure Light and Dark at the same time (which is what Yozora is)
Sweet Kingdom Hearts thread. Should I do a level 1 run? I heard it’s so hard that it’ll make you break your controller I hate myself so I’m willing to give it a shot
Level 1 is for when you've played the game so much that playing it normally just doesn't do it for you anymore, but if you're a masochist then go right ahead.
Because they have a lot of cozy settings in part because they're Disney games, but since they're focused on action the characters don't really have down time.
I will give up my penis as a sacrifice if we can get a slice of life KH anime. I just want to see these characters chill out and act like regular people and do every day stuff

Why can't this be real Ganker
I think bringing back Roxas was a mistake. His and Namine's story concluded at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 and unlike all the other Nobodies they found where they belonged.
I don't. Sora keeping Roxas trapped inside of him always left a bad taste in my mouth. CoM and 2's prologue went out of their way to show you how nobodies can be their own persons with their own thoughts who want to live their life. That's why that summer vacation line hit so hard. Namine didn't have a conclusion in 2 as well. She just helped Kairi. Did she even exchange a line with Sora
Namine's line at the end was the one that finished the thing they set up with Roxas. I actually like Roxas being "trapped inside Sora" because it's what makes Roxas better than Sora. It's the grand theme of self sacrifice despite great suffering. That's why the prologue hits you so hard. Roxas deserves his own life but he does the right thing to wake up Sora and prevent calamity. At the end, he and Namine find small comfort in the fact that, at least when Sora and Kairi are together, they can both be together also. Compared to all the other nobodies and Xion, they got off easy. There's no greater tragic character than Roxas, but that's what makes it so good.
>I actually like Roxas being "trapped inside Sora" because it's what makes Roxas better than Sora
I don't because it's uncharacteristic of Sora to keep him trapped. Until the bossfight he does not want to give up his autonomy and he does it because he was defeated, not because he wanted to. They go over this in DDD as well. The dude wants to live. He wants to hang out with his friends. There is no reason to keep him trapped besides "OH WOULDN'T THIS TRAGEDY MAKE ME CRY IN MY DISNEY BAME!". You could have just killed him after the prologue then. >Namine's line at the end was the one that finished the thing they set up with Roxas.
Anon. Namine existed before KH2 and that CoM shit still wasn't resolved by the end of it. Final Mix even added a line about Sora still having to thank her.
See: [...]
Roxas was literally never supposed to exist. Nobodies and Hearts are not real people, they are (were) fragments of a single person and both need to rejoin to make a person whole. THEY LITERALLY TELL you in Kingdom Hearts 2.
The whole team of Kingdom Hearts 2 was the struggle of Nobodies attempting to regain their Hearts and become whole again. The Nobodies are (were) literal sociopaths that could emulate emotions, but not understand them.
Roxas left the (originally) organization because he wanted to find out who he was and no longer take orders. His searching led him to Riku and eventually Sora where he became whole despite not originally understanding why Sora was important, why the Keyblade chose Sora. Axel died because he sought friendship because he thought it was what made him feel real, he didn't really feel the emotion even when he was passing away but the thought of it being real made it worth it. Roxas who was in Sora could feel emotions now that he was whole and felt real friendship with Axel and why he ultimately pulled Sora in for a duel of who would get the body.
>Nobodies and Hearts are not real people,
You should play CoM before talking. They show you in it that they are in fact real people with real hearts. Days goes over this extra as well since most of you morons didn't understand the blatant fact that they do develop genuine emotion. Sora crying to HPO is real because it's Roxas' heart yearning for his friends. Not Sora. DiZ was ALWAYS in the wrong about them and you missed what KH2 and his character was literally telling you.
Namine's line at the end was the one that finished the thing they set up with Roxas. I actually like Roxas being "trapped inside Sora" because it's what makes Roxas better than Sora.
Agreed. Nomura destroyed the substance and weight to Roxas' story by bringing him back out of shallow and hollow fan service. Nomura himself said that he brought everyone back strictly to make fans happy. And now he has to invent random new ideas of what to even do with the bloated cast of stagnant characters. By the way THIS is why Axel's personality has changed radically. Nomura ha to invent something to keep him relevant. And that's merely one example.
The most interesting part of roxas character was that he was part of Sora.
His entire appearance in 3 was just soulles fanservice.
Even his signature keyblades O&O are his signature keyblades, because they are heavily tied to Sora and his bonds/experiences in KH1 with Riku and Kairi.
In a sense even O&O got devalued as just the cool light and darkness weapons that roxas uses, instead of the actual theme and meaning they originally carried
The real most interesting part was his mental breakdown at his entire reality being fake. Despite bad voice acting/writing/directing, KH2's intro shines as a concept. If the execution were better it could've been heartwrenching to watch.
Friendly reminder that Light-only is for homosexuals and morons, everyone needs darkness too, maybe more than light but always with a bit of light somewhere
>Riku, Sora, Roxas and Terra are all gays who use Darkness. >objectively the four strongest people in the series (protagonist side)
You might be onto something, anon. However 99% of Lightgays can't handle Darkness and if tainted by it, they'd succumb.
I'm aware. My point is that these four are unique in that they're capable of using both but most Lightgays aren't.
We've seen how most people influenced by Darkness act and it just makes the four aforementioned stand out more as unique amongst Lightgays.
Riku is the only one who wields it competently and intentionally. >Terra barely has a hold on it throughout BBS and lets it cloud his emotions constantly >Sora is pretty much the same, he is never "in control" when using Darkness >Roxas mixes Light and Darkness so naturally that it's barely fair to call him a user of either separately, he simply uses both
Funnily enough, Riku is probably the weakest of these 4. So there's a case for it for sure, but calm and collected is ironically the least useful method. You'd have a better point with rage being powerful considering Roxas and Terra.
Rage is honestly pretty cracked since Sora goes apeshit in his Darkness forms but your point about Riku does bring up some arguments about whether Light has an equivalent to Rage where someone can switch on an emotion and suddenly be shitting out ridiculous Light-based gimmicks which are the equivalent to their Dark counterparts.
Nomura said that Xemnas can wirld keyblades nit he simply didn't wanted to.
The question here is which one will he summon, in Days and 2FM he's shown to still have Terra's memories, at least to an extent so he could technically summon Earthshaker/Ends of the Earth and No Name
Because of the gazing eye, Xemnas didn't want MoM or his other version know what's he up to. He is a Nobody and secretly wants to be free from being Xehanort's vessle but he failed.
I'm with Eraqus on this one. I wouldn't trust Xehanort to go to Hell, he'd probably bodyjack Satan and come back to the material plane infinitely stronger.
I'm not even going to apologize, but Eraqus and Xehanort just radiated homosexual energy from the very beginning. Nothing about Eraqus said "heterosexual" at all, I mean Xehanort even looks a bit more masculine/manly as a young adult, but Eraqus is just a soft faced twink femboy the whole way. I actually thought Eraqus was a girl the first time we saw him.
>Fail so hard as a teacher an entire class goes missing >Let's his students murder each other >HELPS one of his students murder another one
He's evil right?
Honestly just do what they did with 0.2
Make a Kairi Aqua game a demo for KH4, that's just training letting people catch up with the state of the universe after the timeskip, before KH4 drops.
I think Kairi training with Aqua is gonna be the tutorial section of KH4. These games stopped having Sora be the protagonist for the prologue ever since KH2. >B-But KH3!
0.2 is the prologue to KH3.
Honestly just do what they did with 0.2
Make a Kairi Aqua game a demo for KH4, that's just training letting people catch up with the state of the universe after the timeskip, before KH4 drops.
These are both very fair points, I'd be alright for a 0.2 treatment would be pretty cool. Definitely like the idea of it serving as an overall demo for what's to come in 4
Though I'd like it to be a lot longer than 0.2 like a full game would be.
Well if they do another demo game for a collection, there's really no games left needing a console port.
So what might happen is theoretically you could get a longer Demo game, to go along with 1-2 movies that cover the events of UX and Dark Road
How come the mobile games can be dark as frick and have the best story and writing? Seriously I feel like Nomura made the stories in the mobile games great and dark on purpose because that's the only way that'll keep interest in gacha shit
>that kid who was playing hide and seek with his dad but was dying and his last memories are him going towards a light and his dad crying out >that guy who saw his friends already replace him when he died and he’s jealous about it
Jesus fricking CHRIST. This series can go from cringe to dark at the drop of a dime
>Has the same hair as kid Riku >Even wear the same wristbands as kid Riku
When is Nomura going to finally reveal that Xehanort is Riku's grandfather? It's so obvious
Did they run out of money and couldn't bring back these two VAs to say not a single line? It was kinda jarring how they kept popping up in KH 3 and didn't say a word. Or was that suppose to be a joke?
Vexen’s original JAP VA died and he was replaced in 3. Reno and Axel have the same VA. Nomura said that Reno’s lines in Rebirth will be reused audio as they look for a new VA for the third FF7 game. Axel will definitely get recasted. He’s too integral to the story since him and Isa will be looking for Subject X in the new arc
Literally never because of timmy personally helping Nomura with KH3 development. EGS would have to literally die as a storefront before it ever gets put on steam and that's a big maybe
have a nice day. I am never buying a Kairi game. Shitty character. And I am sick to death of Feminism Girl Boss Shit. Especially in things related to Disney like the recent Star Wars c**t director whose famous motto is " I like to make men feel uncomfortable." As if Disney hasn't murdered Star Wars in particular with Feminism Shit. Frick you. We don't need this Pro Female Shit in Kingdom Hearts.
Well thank goodness you aren't writing any story. >I sincerely hope someone important to Nomura dies in front of him
Listen to yourself getting this hung up about Disney media to the point you want someone to die lmao. Reflect a bit on yourself
>CoM exists
Frick off >friendship has never left the series >muh blue haired troony
Frick off those characters are shit they've gotten too "anime" over the years
All i wanted was sora to re encounter his friends, have whacky adventures with donald and goofy with some FF characters and they fricked it royally
>Frick off
No. It's right there being a GBA game that is important to KH2. Cope. >muh blue haired troony
So you got no argument but buzzwords? Guessed so. This is how KH3 ends by the way. With a friendship beam btfoing the supervillain
It was so cool and special to see Mickey have a keyblade when Sora and Riku were the only ones able to wield one otherwise. Now there's a ton of random OCs with their own keyblades. This game used to actually be about Disney and Final Fantasy.
I hate how anime KH has become, i hate that they deleted every nuance of FF characters
I wanted the magic that kh1 had to continue
You could already see the downfall in kh2
And when you had to play portable games to understand the story everything was fricked
I sincerely hope Kingdom Hearts 4 sales are awful.
I want to see how many burned out fans Kingdom Hearts 3 drove away. Kingdom Hearts 4's sales will reflect that. And lets not forget Disney is not a popular company in recent times.
The main problem with KH is that it continues to try and tiptoe the line between whimsical children's movies with the Disney side and serious themes with the KH side (SE side is just wanking popular characters at this point), when it's clear nobody wants it anymore. It is yet another franchise that failed to account for the fact that it's original fans grew up and that many newer players are simply not willing to get into it.
This is true. And the worst part is that the series kept on getting worse with each new sequel. Whether it was the story or gameplay it was getting worse. And the mobile games absolutely do NOT help. It's a miracle that this series lasted as long as it has, but I think Kingdom Hearts 3 and Sora officially getting into Smash Bros were the final hurrah.
How come no one talks about how Pixar let Nomura make the true sequel to Monsters Inc. that people have been waiting forever for and put it into Kingdom Hearts?
Maybe because if you haven't noticed Pixar never felt Monsters Inc needed an actual sequel made by them. As such they allowed Nomura to do a slight epilogue sort of speak. And since it's a video game it's way too easy to say it's not canon in the first place.
Yeah but they have made books and comics and a prequel and a sequel series and they never even mention what happens right after Sully opens the door and sees Boo, and then all of a sudden they tell that story (a version of it of course it's not canon) in fricking Kingdom Hearts of all places.
And Bad Writing makes him a failure who gets humiliated and destroyed. Every time this happens, I remember all the little examples of bad writing damaging everything in this series.
Nomura has the audacity to say he hired a new head writer. It's been TWENTY ONE years. By now it's too late to magically change course to fix all the bad writing this franchise has amassed.
Coolest bastard in the entire series with his debut in 2FM, but then his actual game was trash, his actual character was a level of moron on par with prequel Anakin, and the badassery of a suit of armor haunted by SHEER WILL only factors into a mediocre final boss in BBS and a literal cutscene when they do it again in KH3.
In the end, the only thing lingering is the dull aftertaste of weak games.
Why are people so against using all the new Disney properties in KH? We can finally have a Star Wars, Indiana Jones and even a Marvel world. It just feels like it's those who've always talked shit about Disney being a core part of KH being mad all over again.
[...] >No one wants...
How far does your head have to be up your own ass for you to think that what you want specifically is what the entire world wants? There's fan pools, videos, and daily discussions about what people want to be next worlds and all the shit you just said you didn't want is exactly what people want, some of you morons need a reality check.
Oh as I was writing this he just got exposed for being the same moron shitting the thread, good riddance.
Imagine wanting nu-star wars and marvelshit in kingdom hearts, lmao. I'll take even a fricking dumbo world over those any day.
>nu-star wars
Battle of Endor isn't "nu-star wars" and the Marvelshit you hate so much has already been done with Big Hero 6, it's nothing new to the series but you homosexuals know nothing of what you talk about.
How about we don't officially know about Star Wars in Kingdom Hearts because we don't have a developed finalized trailer.
And about Big Hero Six. That's not quite what people expect from Marvel. Big Hero Six was a FAILED Marvel comic series. It's a failure which is why Disney felt comfortable in liberally adapting it in any way they saw fit. But they wold never dare to do the same to something more famous like X Men or Spiderman.
Maybe we don't want it, but Nomura would cream himself if he could make a Star Wars world for KH. I'd love to see what he does with it if he ever gets to use it.
Kingdumb Sharts is gay and made for autistic children and manchildren.
If you were some kid in the early 2000s who liked the first 2 games when they came out, you get a pass. I mean, at least it actually attempted to be an FF x Disney crossover at that point, and you were presumably like 10 years old. If you are a grown ass adult still obsessed with this nonsensical frickery, please do the world and favour and have a nice day.
>No one wants...

Don't worry you Kingdom Hearts fans are in for a rude awakening if you think this series has a future. Right now Sonic the Hedgehog is respected more as a franchise than Kingdom Hearts. That's sad. Can't wait to hear about how disappointing the sales of Kingdom Hearts 4 are. And hope Verum Rex is another failure for Nomura.
The problem with a Marvel world based on a movie is that most of them take place in a modern city and Quadratum already looks like that. I feel like an Asgard world would be the most visually distinct.
is it the door of darkness
But Kingdom Hearts is LIGHT
I undrestnad
Idk
Mickey! It's anon! They put bugs in him!
If only I had the PhD level intelligence to understand. Perhaps then this story would be true kino, but I am simply too moronic to understand.
The door is public domain
Kingdom Hearts was always an allegory for keeping Micky Mouses's rights
Mostly the story that we get, save for the fact that when they're defeated, they're actually defeated
>KH3: Since OrgXIII was squashed in this new continuity, we instead turn to another mastermind that gets access to Kingdom Hearts at the very start of the game. Sora and the others need to stop him from warping the worlds to his whims, twisting the hearts of everyone to his chaotic vision (and effectively screwing with the plotlines of some of the Disney movies)
>Birth By Sleep: This is a side entry released after KH3 that just gives more context to the events of KH3, where the BBS goon squad try, but fail to stop the aforementioned mastermind from reaching Kingdom Hearts
Imagine a world like that
That would be honestly so much better. It would clear up a lot of the story's headaches.
I feel your pain, the first KH was one of the greatest gaming experiences of my childhood. You really felt like you were on a grand adventure to all the great disney world's of your childhood. It was fun, the combat was engaging, the story was simple enough to grasp. It saddens me to no end that it will never recapture that glory.
fricking
this
god damnit
KH1 was cool because they let the Disney characters actually do new things rather than railroad the player into the movie's plotline.
This was my biggest gripe with three I felt like I was on a track
They simply don’t have fun with the series anymore
Literally all the games other than 1 did this, the Disney worlds are just filler until you get to the real plot.
>I think going change will be that going forward Tai Yasue will be the director for mainline KH titles and Nomura will stay as the creative director.
any evidence for this
Nomura has expressed interest in directing other games and it seems like his vision Rebirth has come together just fine with him in the creative director roll.
You meant to quote this:
Frick you. You autistic homosexual.
?
>ask any Marvel VS.
And then there was the 180 against gritty-edgy-mature, which turned into quirky-quippy-thoughtless shit which which is what killed Versus 13 and makes Square so afraid to put Nomura on top again
>the 180 against gritty-edgy-mature, which turned into quirky-quippy-thoughtless shit
When will it end
No, it was a headache generator an absolute cringe. Disney shorts were always mediocre compared to warner ones, so I don't really give a frick about Mickey fricking shit Mouse.
You're hunting Mickey down for the entirety of KH1. You basically only see him briefly at the end. All scenes you've seen with mickey have been from future games where the games went full moron.
Doesn't help that IRL Nomura and Kojima are actually best friends and they having lunch together frequently
>Kojima
That's Hideo
The two pillars of my childhood and adolescence
Kinda weird how KINGDOM HEARTS Ideal became nothing after 2, for the whole gatcha story line
Disney ruined Kingdom Hearts 3 by demanding Square Enix cut down on Final Fantasy content in favor of wanking Frozen
Some Japanese fans claim Tetsuya Nomura became mentally ill after finding out his crush, Utada Hikaru, married an ugly Italian bartender.
Sakaguchi told him to go balls to the walls. And you aren't 8 years anymore. Grow up instead of chasing your nostalgic dopamine rush, moron.
Cartoon physics is stronger than anything JRPG villains can dish out. That's should've been a non problem.
I love that Barbosa and the Tron guy stick out more than Oogie Boogie.
An unfortunate result of Disney downplaying villains is that we're probably never going to get something like this again. Unless you add Star Wars and Marvel, pickings for villains are pretty slim.
>Tamatoa
>Bellwether
>King Candy
>Magnifico
>Zurg / Hopper / Syndrome / etc. Pixar villain
>Loki
>Vader
Its just nostalgia kh1 is shit game play wise
>Why did Disney give him full creative control?
He has always pretty much had that. In fact KH1's first year of development was just Nomura himself as Square didn't have any free dev teams to give him at the time. Disney basically just gives him and his teams a yes or no at what they can and can't use. Ironically they've interfered more in the recent games than in the past.
>Kingdom Cringe
Anon, you grew up and realized how dog shit the series is. That's it.
>playing KH1
>worlds feel magical and big, I literally got lost in them, so many secrets
>play KH2
>worlds are just a straight/curvy linear line
Notice that FFX and KH1 were made by Squaresoft.....
>Squaresoft
i miss these guys like you would not believe
DUDE WHAT IF WE MADE A SCI FI MOVIE AND CALLED IT FINAL FANTASY LOL
>Go to Disney worlds
>To find princesses of heart, aka Disney Princesses
>Fight Disney villains
>All the while you have Sora's personal story to find Kairi and the big bad guy at the end is a KH OC
>But for whatever reason doesn't seem like this idea has occurred to anyone at Square Enix
Probably because it's 1. impossible 2. moronic
Never, ever. Plus the last game was pretty much just fanservice at the end with only kh characters and it was awful
So what exactly do you want?
Nomura not to use kh to advertise current disney franchises that they are obviously very protective over and go back to older ones.
>buying the entire rights of Kingdom Hearts original material
It's pretty damn tough to convince these companies to ever let go of an IP even if they'll just keep it in the vault.
>whimsical and magical adventure
Literally the tune for that feel
%3D%3D
I miss KH making me feel like this song
A sense of wonder
>What the frick did Tetsuya Nomura do to this series?
He watched/read Bleach and copied that shit for KH2.
anime rotted that c**ts brain away. nomura is literally braindead now.
Every jrpg nowadays is anime shit, it was the beginning of the end.
I think I was a tad too young to fully appreciate KH1, but I was at the perfect age to fully embrace the young-teen edginess of KH2 without feeling cringe for doing so. I think being a bit older I was able to remember some of the climaxes in KH2 a little more vividly
>Axels early game sacrifice
>the anime Org 13 fights in the Nobody world
>the big end boss fight with Rikku beside you
I also didn’t 100% it, so I didn’t get a big cliff hanger secret ending bullshit at the end, for young me it was a pretty open and shut series; I had only partially played CoM, enough to get an idea for the story and the other Org13 members, but the card system wasn’t for me
And then 356/2 days came out… I remember thinking “this is kind of dumb now” and fell off the wagon sometime mid BbS
You said it, fell off the wagon.
He really needs someone to tell him "no don't do that, that's moronic scale it back some"
DDD and mobile shit ruined the series
i'm ready for a reboot but looks like we are getting another 20 year saga so i will die before that happens
imagine peaking in middleschool
For the better especially with the direction Disney is in I'd take Nomura anyday
It's the seventh wonder, write that down Pence.
WHEN ARE WE GETTING KH 4 NEWS NOMURA YOU homosexual HACK
Not any time soon, gonna have to wait for the mobile game to set off.
I miss these old threads
Gonna be awhile, they're full steam ahead on FFVIIR.
After FF7R releases, for the march anniversary
Most likely after FF7R2 is out.
I hate how Sora is getting older. For a series such as this having Sora continue to age is shit.
Made sense the first time cause Haley Joel Osment's voice got deeper between KH1 and KH2. Plus storywise it worked too. Since then I don't actually think Sora got that much older, his hair just changed
I really hope they replace Haley with a actual younger voice actor for Sora. Hearing him trying to sound like a teen is so hurtful to the ears.
Agreed. Sorry that Osment can't get any kind of work, but his voice is bad for quite a few years now. And it's clear he is NOT a skilled voice actor at all. His most famous role is Sora and by now by majority his performances are lackluster.
The problem is they aren't letting him speak naturally, they're still forcing him to pitch up his voice like in DDD.
How much sex did they have before Sora disappeared?
sora is a twink bottom b***h that's meant for riku and ONLY riku
No Riku is now fricking Namine
>Gets cucked by Sora
>Has to basically settle for Kairi's sister who already fricked Roxas
Why is Riku such a beta?
Namine's cuter anyway.
But she's not pure. She's a bawd. She's fricked two guys
Then that means Sora is not pure for Riku either lmao
Naminè is way better than Kairi and plus she’s not ashamed of showing her feet
He spent his teenage years with a dog and a duck, I'd be surprised if his sex drive wasn't stunted or otherwise warped.
Ducks are rapists and dogs hump everything they find if they get horny. also, goofy is actually a bull
There's a year gap between CoM and 2.
The duck is horny as hell and the dog has fricked and had a kid. For all we know, Goofy probably gave him the talk at some point between games.
>Now Sora, if you start to feel sweaty and your penis gets hard whenever you two hug, that means you're ready HYUCK
>Remember to take it slowly. Don't just jam your Keyblade in her keyhole all at once. Tease her to make things all the more intense. And don't forget to pull out your Keyblade when right before the beam touches the keyhole
Yoh Asakura is the only shonen teenage hero that got pussy before the final battle.
SAY FELLAS, DID SOMEBODY MENTION THE DOOR TO DARKNESS
Ganker here I don't think enough b***h ass homies on Ganker will appreciate this reference
it's not entirely off topic though
for him, the line under 10 is, technically, the door to darkness
>Sora teams up with Lebron to dunk on Heartless
MAKE IT HAPPEN
He's confirmed gay right?
roxas/axel is one of the gayest couples I've seen in media
Roxas is confirmed straight. He fricked Namine and now he’s fricking Xion. Axel is a flaming homosexual though
pure retcon damage control for how he and axel acted in 2 and you can't convince me otherwise, at least with sora nomura was plugging his crush on kairi from the very beginning
>Axel on the other hand is so obviously gay it’s hilarious.
Lea and Isa are fighting over Subject X (Either Skuld or Ava) so that's not true at all.
>Xe doesn't know about necklace theory.
Days 2: now isn't stuck on DS.
The frick is necklace theory
>Went from a badass assassin anti hero who did whatever the frick he wanted to a homosexual Deadpool constantly doing meta jokes and jobbing like a b***h
I will never forgive Nomura for that character assassination. Frick that hack
>Axel straight says how popular he is during the Keyblade War in KH3
What?
>And then you have to remember that even if no one revived him.....he would reincarnate.
That's not true at all. Axel isn't a Nobody anymore. If he dies, he dies for real barring someone breaking the taboo of time.
Nomura's idea of reincarnation is the old heart will meld and fuse with a new body and soul to develop into a new consciousness. However it's always been possible to remember your previous life.
Right now I'm totally expecting a new character to show up and reveal that he used to be Xehanort. You'll see what I mean.
>t-t-the names Lee... Got it m-memorized?...
>everyone just ignores him and calls him Axel anyway
kek, what a b***h
>"is this supposed to be a keyblade?...or some sort of joke?"
it's like the game was self aware of how shittier axel became
also-ran was a term I had never heard but I somehow understood its meaning
Not only that but Axel's keyblade was broken. However later in the game he brings it back like nothing.
So why did Mickey and Riku need Yen Sid to replace their broken keyblades with new ones after going to the Dark World? Oh the writing is so bad.
I think Nomura actually addressed this. Xemnas didn’t actually break his Keyblade it was more of a metaphor that he broke his spirit
Simple. It wasn't broken and you got angry over nothing.
also ran
>to a homosexual Deadpool constantly doing meta jokes and jobbing like a b***h
So business like always.
They also changed his cool Chakrams to a generic ass Fire Keyblade
He still uses his chakrams as a keyblade transformation which you can see in both Remind and when you watch him and Kairi fight Saix and Xion from apart
He is fujosexual, he is 100% anything the fujos crave at a given point in time. 100% gay then 100% straight then 100% bisexual then 100% asexual then 100% straight. anything fujos feel like that day.
>Makes a meta joke about Roxas and Ven looking the same
>Makes a meta joke about his popularity
>Makes a meta joke about how confusing the story is
>Literally says "Sorry we're late, had a couple plot points that needed ironed out" as the camera pans over to Ven looking at Roxas
>Literally says "Just bring out the big bad"
>Pic related is how Axel was introduced.
Look at how they massacred my boy
Pic related frick
>lands the final blow after sora kicks his ass
stolen valor
I'm getting pretty tired of square 'fixing' their games a year after release.
They could have copied FFVI World of Ruin Arc that would have been kino
Data Roxas couldn't replace real Roxas since the games already make it so Data people are different from the actual people
>Data Roxas couldn't replace real Roxas
I wasnt thinking that. I was thinking more of "using Data Twilight Town to separate Sora and Roxas's hearts", maybe in a kind of call forward to the later Final World sequence.
a meta joke about Roxas and Ven looking the same
I mean that's been true since the HD collection. Roxas' face model was changed in 2.5 to just be Ven's when before it was just a thinner Sora.
Can we all admit that KH 3 was good after all?
It was far from perfect but I had fun.
It was good clean fun like the PS2 days, which is few and far between nowadays.
The main issue is that it clearly suffered from a chaotic development, some of the worlds felt unfinished and the story was poorly paced. Hopefully KH4 is cleaner but considering how long it's taking who knows.
no it was shit, frick you. Data fights do not make up for the rest of the slog.
The data fights in KH 3 Remind are the best boss fights in video game history so you're wrong
The yozora fight was better than sephiroth or Terra/lingering will. Only homosexual contrarians who don't play games disagree.
paying an extra 30 for something that should have been in the base experience still rubs me the wrong way.
Welcome to Kingdom Hearts. At least now that you know, you wont make the same mistake with KH4, right?
But Re:Chain of Memories is worse than the GBA game.
And the movie version of Days sucks out the SOVL.
Came up a little short of KH2's Final Mix, but again adds in new abilities, keyblade, difficulty, a new end game scenario and post game superbosses.
>have to slog through the dogshit gameplay, story, and voice acting for hours.
>have to play through the shit endgame TWICE
>all for a few decent bossfights
KH homosexuals cannot be helped, you are all moronic.
>story, and voice acting
Skip it
>dogshit gameplay
I guess you didn't play the game after Critical and ReMind came out
>you have to buy dlc to properly enjoy the main game
I like it. Especially remind
Yes, gameplay wise it was up there with 2 - just as long as you waited for RM.
>evil murderer man gets to go to heaven with his gay lover because he said he was sorry
that's how it works irl
He repented so he still gets to go to Heaven. That’s how it works. Doesn’t matter how many people he’s killed. How many worlds he destroyed. How many lives he’s ruined. He repent and is good again
He was just a pawn in the greater scheme, evil nonetheless but KH isn't a Christian game so you don't go to hell just because you've committed evil, especially if the evil you committed was part of a LITERAL 4D chess game where you're just a guy put there to be bad so the guy doing the good does more good.
doesn't everyone go to the Underworld?
No it's a mistake that a lot of people assume because of Auron's presence but there are multiple afterlives
>Greek underworld
>Davy jones' locker and they do the same up is down scene so they're also coming back from the underworld where everyone who died at sea goes
>Mufasa is still with his ancestors in pride lands
As with most things in KH, they do and they don't. It seems Hades can pluck anyone he wants into the Underworld but it doesn't mean everyone goes there, it seems Hades is going to help Donald and Goofy find Sora so who the frick knows what he's really capable of.
Most likely they're going with overlapping authorities and domains, the power of waking can revive the dead because death and sleep are related, and Hades is a god of the dead and the underworld so he has authority over the dead and can summon them, temporarily, from another world of the dead.
There is no heaven in KH. Every heart returns to Kingdom Hearts when they die. KH1 literally tells you this
What was the final world then you moron? Or the souls talk in kh4 and 3 when xemnas tells xion to off axel?
>What was the final world then you moron?
Limbo.
just like japan after wwii
Xehanort didn't go to heaven he went to reincarnate. There is no death. And you CAN remember your previous life as shown in the mobile games. So there is no absolute death.
>worlds are worse than ever
>even more needlessly complicated combat and uber abilities despite the difficulty being tuned for catatonic babies
>story reached critical even horizon of moronicness
lolno
are worse than ever
Eh
>>even more needlessly complicated combat and uber abilities despite the difficulty being tuned for catatonic babies
They're not complicated at all, if anything they're simpler than KH2. They are too uber for the actual difficulty though i agree on that
>story reached critical even horizon of moronicness
No they need to go further.
The production quality was super high, but I never finished it because I got sick of all the Disney shit. I know that sounds weird in a KH game, but Sora would just kind of be there watching the plot of the movie play out.
You can definitely feel Disney's hand on a bunch of the worlds. Even one of the better worlds, Monsters Inc, doesn't let you beat the shit out of Randal, which feels like such an obvious boss fight I can only imagine Disney veto'd it.
>doesn't let you beat the shit out of Randal,
What's he supposed to do?
I'm sure they could have figured something out for him, I just wanted it because it would be funny.
KH1 already gave us an invisible lizard boss, it's kind of baffling they didn't reference it.
Or Zerg.
it could have been cool.
Man KH3 sucked.
I wish we got a Zurg fight so much, especially if Nomura gave him some wacky Play Arts Kai-ish redesign. I do like how the Toy Story world had a ton of original toy stuff though, I thought that was really cool.
>especially if Nomura gave him some wacky Play Arts Kai-ish redesign
The gummi exploration was a severe downgrade from 2's gummi routes
Also the disney rides really hurt the pacing of combat
Yes, nostalgiatards just grew up, it's not worse than kh1 or kh2
KH was a product of the 2000s when nobody gave af about being cringe and embraced the edginess.
Playing KH3 and presumably KH4 just feels so out of place.
But damn of 1 and 2 aren't a good time capsule of 2000s kino
KINGDOM HEARTS 3 REMIND IS THE BEST GAME IN THE SERIES AND IM TIRED OF PRETENDING ITS NOT
decent data fights at the very end of the game that expect you to roll/block/lockon everything without moving around much doesn't salvage the rest of it being dogshit
Fingers crossed KH4 has better movement but I'm trying not to get my hopes up that we'll ever have anything like the first two games
not with the base floaty combat
Why Klonoa just like Kingdom Hearts
Klonoa is not that similar to Kingdom Hearts. Klonoa travels to different worlds while he's asleep so he has no control over which world he explores. Kingdom Hearts characters can choose the worlds they want to land on. They can also choose a world to settle on. Klonoa is kicked out of worlds against his will.
Amusingly Klonoa's design is similar to Mickey Mouse's first colored design. Only difference is his collar and blue hat. Shame Klonoa is a failure that never sold well.
>Your final video game boss
Kneel
CUM GUARDIAN!
nobody fricks with the mouse
>canonically gets his clothes stripped by the demon tide so he can wear on brand clothes for this scene only
>it's also the only scene where they cared about the autistic billboarding on his ears
>they stopped caring after this a let Nomura put him in the coat
Based... Or gay idk. They could've kept billboarding his ears. It'd look like shit in gameplay, but is entirely possible to do. I don't care for the billboarding either way but some Didney morons want it.
>Your body submits. Your heart succumbs. So why does your mind resist?
Kino, Coco is one of the last good Disney movie
Star Wars and Marvel shit is inevitable for KH 4 isn't it?
>Star Wars
Endor was in the trailer so it's looking like Return of the Jedi
>Marvel
Who knows. SE couldn't even get actor's likenesses for that Avengers game they did.
I'm intensely disappointed with Spider-Man 2 but I still think it would be kino if KH crossed over with the insomniac Spidey universe
>kino if sora crosses into the pozzed Black persontopia of insomniac spiderman
It wouldn't even be spiderman, it would be miles
>Gawrsh Petah! Don't that Mary Jane and Paul guy seem like a happy couple? Ah-hyuck!
I honestly wouldn’t care for the Marvel and Star Wars Slop, people keep meming about it too
people have literally been saying this since 3 got announced.
Well now KH4 actually has a Star Wars world
Please,God. If you’re reading this. DON’T LET THIS COME TRUE!!!
I don't mind Star Wars so much. I worry Disney meddling will make it lame, but that happens to other worlds too. I don't even know how they'd go about doing Marvel unless they just follow the Avengers movies only.
They could make Thor Ragnarok into a coliseum world
Thor would honestly be a great party member
KH is already clearly very inspired by star wars so I wouldn't mind its inclusion, but if marvel gets in, its gonna be MCU slop witch will make me fricking suicidal
it's gonna have the simpsons
Honestly, The Simpsons works far better than Marvel and Star Wars. Hell, if Nomura lets The Simpsons writers get involved like he let the Pixar crew get involved with Toy Story and Monsters Inc, it could actually be decent
Who would be the boss of a Simpson’s world? The Simpson’s roster is absolutely massive, afterall.
Sneed.
>Smithers, that spiky haired boy with the lollygagging knuckle-dragger in Sector 7-G, who is he? Part of our Japanese nuclear youth program?
>No ID sir
>And the talking dog and duck? Standard radiation leak?
>Not that I know of...
>Intruders eh? Release the Neoshadows!
>If Nomura lets The Simpsons writers get involved like he let the Pixar crew get involved with Toy Story and Monsters Inc, it could actually be decent
How about Futurama
>Futurama and Nomura
That sounds like kino, but only the smallest possible chance of there being.
>Star Wars and Marvel shit is inevitable for KH 4 isn't it?
You actually think 4 is going to have Disney shit in it at all?
>You actually think 4 is going to have Disney shit in it at all?
The more things change...
The easy answer for why they never tease with Disney stuff is from not knowing what properties they'll be allowed to use in the future.
>I don't wanna see sora riding around on chitty chitty bang bang
What a soulless homosexual.
I can neither pronounce nor recall any Disney movies to come out since frozen.
It's all been remakes
I don't understand what the actual point of Kingdom Hearts is without Disney. Just play Final Fantasy?
It's the lack of Square shit you need to be worried about, not Disney. If KH3 is any fricking example they will released butchered Disney tourist worlds before they do anything with Final Fantasy properties proper outside of the original cast for the series. The FF7/8 Traverse Mash Up crew didn't even show up in KH3 until the DLC for a very brief scene.
You better believe it.
It's going to be bad. I hope that these become worse worlds than even Frozen. Maybe then idiot fanatics will snap out of it.
>Disney only Nomura to use Mickey in ONE scene
>Nomura really made it count
I have this vague memory of Mickey Mouse getting into my room one night when I was little and humping me from behind
better see a therapist to know which relative/friend either raped or attempted to rape you anon
What the frick? I was just sharing a random memory, anon. Seems like you have some issues if thats your immediate reaction
>has a memory of "mickey mouse" coming into his room at night and humping him
>I'm the one who has issues
that unironically screams "I got diddled but my mind changed it to cope", like I'm not joking there it's not uncommon for shit like that to happen
You think I wouldnt know if I actually suffered of sexual abuse? It could be a weird dream that left an impact on me, but you immediately project rape, seems like you are kinda traumatized
uh anon you've never heard of repression/denial? the mind will do funny things to cope with shit it can't handle and that's not restricted to abuse
and no I got lucky and had a great childhood, my mother is a bit of a prussian military taskmaster but hardly the end of the world growing up
>>You think I wouldnt know if I actually suffered of sexual abuse?
Hehe.
Anon, that's fricking goofy.
Literally the pinnacle of Mickey Mouse's life. This was his greatest moment. The build up in the game and the fact he is King of Disney.
I love they made a game basically just to explain why he wasn't wearing a shirt in this one scene
>Nomura literally created an entire game just to explain why Mickey didn't have a shirt in KH 1
>It's because of Disney meddling but he wanted an actual in universe lore reason
The Autism King
I bought 1.5 and 2.5 Remix because it was like 15 dollars. The only KH games I played were Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days well over 10 years ago, and only have very vague memories of the PS2 games from when I watched my brother play them. What am I in for?
Why did Donald and Goofy become useless after KH 1? They were actually good in KH 1 especially Goofy. It might as well just be Sora solo
nomura wanted his own abominations front and center rather than ya know the things that actually made KH good.
They were too op
People rightly talk about how Donald and Goofy were OP with the right set up in KH1, but people really sleep on the fact that Ariel is the single most busted party member in the entire franchise:
>has MP Rage and Lucky Strike by default
>balanced starting stats, meaning that you can build her as a mage or a tank
>can cast Cure AND Aero
>Spiral Wave deals as much damage as Goofy’s Tornado when combined with a high strength stat, it can crit, and it has a low MP cost
>when coupled with Goofy’s MP Gift, she basically has near infinite MP
How can an underwater bimbo be so ludicrously broken? She’s also the most broken summon in KH3 too.
MP Gift is so fricking broken. I love it
>build her as a mage or a tank
How? Do you equip her with items? And if so, which one would work for each type?
Literally just equip her with the appropriate accessories, then fiddle with her abilities and customisation setting so that she only uses the attacks that you want her to use. I usually equip her with Strength accessories and set her up to spam Sprial Wave.
The problem with KH not having Disney is that certain Disney characters are major members of the cast. Mickey alone is a huge mover and shaker in the plot, as he’s depicted as the Yoda of the KH series (both in terms of narrative role and fighting style).
>that time Mickey lost his shirt just for the sake of preserving continuity
>Let's turn Sora from an adventurous, happy go lucky guy in KH 1 to a wienery little shit butthole in KH 2
he was fine in 2
chain of memories is where he's an absolute butthole, sometimes due to being mindfricked sometimes him just being an arrogant dick
KH 3 Sora was a mix between KH 1 and KH 2 Sora
>but he had this weird blood lust
he just wanted to go home only to find out he needs to fight these new bad guys, who he was explicitly told by yen side are not people, basically vermin to be culled, who frick him around constantly.
it's actually a pretty good example of what blind obedience to orders can get you
he also gloated to Pete, a man he just met, about killing Maleficent
in fairness pete had just been threatening to sic her on them, they were taunting him that his bad protector was already dead and gone.
They are not even subhuman.
>close the door for good
>10 sequels
>tfw KH4 is going to be full of Disney properties that bombed in the cinema and Disney's going to make Nomura pretend they weren't godawful shit.
I just want a good Treasure Planet level.
I did not care for treasure planet
That's ok, you don't have to.
He included fricking Tron in KH2 and had Chicken Little as a summon. He doesn't give a shit about box office Disney bombs
>think Disney has creative control beyond telling them what they can't do
actual schizo shit
>literally forced them to shoehorn in the shitty frozen level
That's actually not true, the KH team liked the movie so much they wanted to dedicate a whole level to it
They think Disney forced Nomura's hand to include the entirety of "Let It Go" but in reality Disney was definitely the one who didn't let them add "Do You Want To Build a Snowman?" in it's entirety as well.
>kingdom hearts 4, produced by kathleen kennedy
>all the females are suddenly stronger
>sora gets replaced by a black dude
yeah can't wait....not
>tfw the fricking 3DS spinoff game had a better and more emotionally charged intro movie that encapsulates the whole of the series in a triumphant manner than the mainline game people were waiting 10+ years for did.
>love KH1 and 2 but never played any of the other ones
>the Final Mix collections are announced and you opt to play them all in order
>beat CoM and it's fine
>play BBS
>our god is an awesome god.jpg
>play DDD for 2 hours
>pic related
So whats the story?
Lingering Liam is peak chuuni.
They should have just stuck to Rikku, Sora and Kairi. Characters like Axel and Aqua are abhorrent and actually make me physically angry.
>Me seeing kh1 xehanort turn into "that".
Glad i played kh2 first otherwise kh1 would be my favorite game of all times.
He's getting a Keyblade next isn't he? He's a good guy now
But king, i don't know how! i didn't played the exclusive atari jaguar title that explains it
>Wields TWO Keyblades
>Has TWO sets of friend groups
>Fricked BOTH Namine and Xion
>Probably gets a handy j from Axel from time to time
Our boy has become the most based character in this series
Literally born to succeed.
They ever explain how he could use two keyblades? And why they were Oathkeeper and Oblivion outside of "darkness and light kanji"?
And if we're going with the "he just has two hearts in him bro" reasoning then how come he could use two in KH3?
At first it was the two hearts excuse, but in KH3 it's genuinely just "oh two keyblades is just his fighting style"
He uses what is most likely the two most lore wise important keyblades to sora, especially since oathkeeper is made from slapping the charm thing onto the keyblade as a keychain.
>duel wields dark and light keyblades
>duel wields dark and light b***hes
It's like poetry, it rhymes.
Namine is sucking off Riku now. Roxas hit it and quit when the goth qt hit the scene. Roxas only wanted Namine so he can be the first to ruin her purity. What a chad
you could have at least rhymed them
'swords' and 'broads' was right there, anon.
Jesus Christ Diz that’s enough
>doesn’t like the most developed, well written character in the series who actually got to get a good life after all the shit he was forced into that he had zero control over
Frick off Black person
> I hate how inexplicably strong he is
Watch the Bourne Identity and expand on your media catalogue. Dude has had one full year of combat experiences against gigantic heartless and his own team
Frick off moron.
>half banked existentialism
How is it half baked you moron? It had a whole game and intro in KH2 dedicated to it. Literally most developed character in the franchise.
I never understood this. Did they close the door to darkness or Kingdom Hearts? Are there multiple doors to darkness/lights?
The DTD is THE door to Kingdom Hearts, but Kingdom Hearts can appear literally anywhere apparently as seen in the second game where "the worlds" deem Sora and his buddies worthy enough to just waltz in Kingdom Hearts to fight Xemnas there, the last scene from KH3 even hints that Kingdom Hearts can be made to appear in unreality.
Basically
>Kingdom Hearts is the sum total of all worlds and men
>Kingdom Hearts is initially summoned from a war strong enough to rend the worlds asunder
>time passes
>Xehanort forges a χ-blade (The car key to Kingdom Hearts) by having a pure light and pure darkness clash directly
>this fails because Ventus self-destructs to break it
>time passes
>Ansem SoD summons a mini Kingdom Hearts from slamming the hearts of all worlds into the Realm of Darkness and then opening a door to it
>Sora closes this door
>Xemnas summons a mini-Kingdom Hearts by gathering the hearts of men
>Sora beats his ass and DiZ breaks it to make that easier
>time passes
>Xehanort boils down χ-blade forging to a science, figures out you can make it by having 7 lights and 13 darknesses slam into eachother in rapid succession
>sora beats his ass and takes the car keys
You forgot to mention that Xehanort also wanted the Ventus/Vanitas experiment to end up in a being of both pure Light and Dark at the same time (which is what Yozora is)
This should've been the perfect place to have Roxas come back. It was literally right there
Sweet Kingdom Hearts thread. Should I do a level 1 run? I heard it’s so hard that it’ll make you break your controller I hate myself so I’m willing to give it a shot
Level 1 is for when you've played the game so much that playing it normally just doesn't do it for you anymore, but if you're a masochist then go right ahead.
KH2 Lv1 can be fun. KH1/BBS Lv1 suck ass. KH3 can be alright if you install the mod that adds a damage floor.
You can but I found my level 1 run of KH2 to be very tedious and actually not fun at all.
Frick Kingdom Hearts I WANT VERUM REX
15 more years, trust the plan
Why is KH art so wholesome, slice of life and just all around good? I love this one so much. We need more slice of life Kingdom Hearts
No black guys.
literally this. black people in kh would ruin the mood. simple fricking as.
Because they have a lot of cozy settings in part because they're Disney games, but since they're focused on action the characters don't really have down time.
It's kinda like fullmetal panic fumoffu where you see otherwise serious edgelord charcaters in slice of life situations.
I will give up my penis as a sacrifice if we can get a slice of life KH anime. I just want to see these characters chill out and act like regular people and do every day stuff
>An episode about Sora and Kairi going on a first date and Sora is nervous so he gets dating tips from Donald because he's in a relationship with Daisy,
>An episode about Ven feeling left out because he's still a minor so he tries to find new friends
>An episode about Riku being a sperg and trying to not be a social moron
>An episode about Terra and Aqua inviting Lea and Isa out on the town because they think they are a couple. hilarity ensues
>no episode where Roxas gets a job in Twilight Town and finally feels fulfilled momentarily before having to give it up to fight Heartless/Nobodies instead
>final scene is the boss telling him he's always welcome if he has the time and Roxas smiles
WE WERE ROBBED, BROS
>That episode where Axel buys a new Frisbee and accidentally breaks Scrooge's window at his restaurant and so he has to work for Scrooge to pay it off but finds out that he's actually an amazing cook because of his fire powers
Why can't this be real Ganker
Who here knows/remembers Ansem Retort?
no but i remember ansemreport.com from ~2003
When is this shit coming to steam instead of epic, how long did disney pay for it
I'm guessing Epic helped with the pc ports and they're never coming to Steam
Steam release fricking when?
I'm an actual KH oldgay. I've been with the series since day 1 way back in 2002. I use to post on Gamefaqs calling Roxas BHK
I've long since lost interest in KH but [deep dive] was always the coolest trailer/secret ending. I remember downloading it off limewire at the time.
this was peak KH in an era were it was cool to wear black while blasting linking park but what came of it in KH2 was rather disappointing
I think bringing back Roxas was a mistake. His and Namine's story concluded at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 and unlike all the other Nobodies they found where they belonged.
I agree but nomura if you haven't noticed has a hard time letting characters stay dead/gone
Nomura's asshurt over FFXV and inserting it into KH3 will never not be funny.
See:
Would you give Nomura a quick suck?
Friendly reminder that Light-only is for homosexuals and morons, everyone needs darkness too, maybe more than light but always with a bit of light somewhere
>Riku, Sora, Roxas and Terra are all gays who use Darkness.
>objectively the four strongest people in the series (protagonist side)
You might be onto something, anon. However 99% of Lightgays can't handle Darkness and if tainted by it, they'd succumb.
Those 4 also wield darkness anon, one was literally born from it... That's why they're so capable, they wield both powers
I'm aware. My point is that these four are unique in that they're capable of using both but most Lightgays aren't.
We've seen how most people influenced by Darkness act and it just makes the four aforementioned stand out more as unique amongst Lightgays.
Riku is the only one who wields it competently and intentionally.
>Terra barely has a hold on it throughout BBS and lets it cloud his emotions constantly
>Sora is pretty much the same, he is never "in control" when using Darkness
>Roxas mixes Light and Darkness so naturally that it's barely fair to call him a user of either separately, he simply uses both
Funnily enough, Riku is probably the weakest of these 4.
Friendship > Darkness > Light
So was it every explained why Xemnas doesn't wield the Key blade or is that a plot hole that will never be answered?
>Nomura: I'd rather that point remain a mystery. It's possible that he intentionally wasn't using one.
You either wield a keyblade like a b***h or dual wield laser swords from your hands.
Wasn't much of an option when you think about it.
Nomura said that Xemnas can wirld keyblades nit he simply didn't wanted to.
The question here is which one will he summon, in Days and 2FM he's shown to still have Terra's memories, at least to an extent so he could technically summon Earthshaker/Ends of the Earth and No Name
I assume Roxas is the outliner much like his appearance.
Namine's appearance is also an outlier but I have my own headcanon for that
Because of the gazing eye, Xemnas didn't want MoM or his other version know what's he up to. He is a Nobody and secretly wants to be free from being Xehanort's vessle but he failed.
>Hey I know you murdered me but you’re sorry right ?
>cool lets go to heaven and play chess
Heaven?
I'm with Eraqus on this one. I wouldn't trust Xehanort to go to Hell, he'd probably bodyjack Satan and come back to the material plane infinitely stronger.
I'm not even going to apologize, but Eraqus and Xehanort just radiated homosexual energy from the very beginning. Nothing about Eraqus said "heterosexual" at all, I mean Xehanort even looks a bit more masculine/manly as a young adult, but Eraqus is just a soft faced twink femboy the whole way. I actually thought Eraqus was a girl the first time we saw him.
br00tal
>Just straights up executes Baldr
>Game basically ends with a school shooting
Man Dark Road is so good. It's so fricking dark.
Odin was such a fricking shit teacher.
>Fail so hard as a teacher an entire class goes missing
>Let's his students murder each other
>HELPS one of his students murder another one
He's evil right?
young xehanort is literally color inverted sasuke
Someone give me a run down on the other mobile games considering they didn't even last year.
>Me? I'm already half the Foreteller boss fights.
I know the last thing KH needs is more spinoffs but
>Kairi going to train under Aqua at the end of MoM
would you be interested in a game where you play as Kairi with Aqua and another character (I liked Lea and Kairi's interactions and Lea/Aqua might have good banter) going around Disney worlds as part of a training arc? Maybe picking up on the Seven New Hearts plot-thread that was left dangling at the end of 3 or giving Maleficent a chance to do literally anything as an antagonist again?
I like Kairi/Aqua and wouldn't mind seeing her get a real game, Riku at least CoM and DDD
Some of those Final World conversations you can have in KH3 are pretty dark.
>that kid who was playing hide and seek with his dad but was dying and his last memories are him going towards a light and his dad crying out
>that guy who saw his friends already replace him when he died and he’s jealous about it
Jesus fricking CHRIST. This series can go from cringe to dark at the drop of a dime
Why is there fifteen sequels if you closed the door for good?
>Has the same hair as kid Riku
>Even wear the same wristbands as kid Riku
When is Nomura going to finally reveal that Xehanort is Riku's grandfather? It's so obvious
Did they run out of money and couldn't bring back these two VAs to say not a single line? It was kinda jarring how they kept popping up in KH 3 and didn't say a word. Or was that suppose to be a joke?
Probably a mix of both. They are the most silent characters of the organizations.
I believe the japanese VAs died so due to respect they choose to not give them any voice, I believe this is also why Phil was quiet in KH3
Nomura really had no luck with VAs in KH3. Xehanort's VA both in japanese and english died. The latter did twice
Phil's japanese VA died around the time as well, which is why neither version got voiced.
Axel's japanese VA died after KH3, which leaves me worried, I hope that this won't affect his screen time
Definitely affected FF7R2 apparently
Vexen’s original JAP VA died and he was replaced in 3. Reno and Axel have the same VA. Nomura said that Reno’s lines in Rebirth will be reused audio as they look for a new VA for the third FF7 game. Axel will definitely get recasted. He’s too integral to the story since him and Isa will be looking for Subject X in the new arc
>we will never have another Terra campaign
makes me sad. It's drilled into us repeatedly that he's the best warrior that's ever been.
Steam when? I hate epic games and their exclusivity bs.
Literally never because of timmy personally helping Nomura with KH3 development. EGS would have to literally die as a storefront before it ever gets put on steam and that's a big maybe
>The only 2 who kinda stood a chance against Terranort was Donald and Goofy
Just how strong are they?
Mickey is quite literally King of the Universe and they're his Court Magician and Guard Captain respectively.
Do I really have to watch the cutscenes from the fricking mobile games to understand the series from now on? Why the frick would he do that
Wait for 3.5 remix
V Cast explains who MoM is, so yes.
A Kairi spinoff with Raya and The Last Dragon, Outward, Moana, and Frozen 2 would hit.
have a nice day.
Is Roxas stronger than Sora? He’s the only character that can naturally wield TWO?! Keyblades
Roxas lost to sora in KH2.
That doesn't even make sense as he was originally using xion's which was retconned to ven's later. he should not be able to wield two anymore.
christ roxas fanboys and fujos are so fricking annoying.
Well thank goodness you aren't writing any story.
>I sincerely hope someone important to Nomura dies in front of him
Listen to yourself getting this hung up about Disney media to the point you want someone to die lmao. Reflect a bit on yourself
The Simpsons will appear in KH 4. That would actually be fun and it works
>well well, look at the city slicker pulling up with his fancy German key
I haven't played past BBS
You're not missing out on much.
Play DDD and KH3.
I'd rather not.
I hope once FF7R2 is out we'll start getting some news on KH4.
They shouldve ended after KH2
>you gotta play psp and mobile games bro!
Frick that
Frick KH3
Just let it die
>no FF characters anymore
>the overarching "friendship" theme is gone
>convoluted story
Im done
CoM exists and friendship has never left the series. You gotta stop coping about your nostalgia. It's not on your side.
>CoM exists
Frick off
>friendship has never left the series
>muh blue haired troony
Frick off those characters are shit they've gotten too "anime" over the years
All i wanted was sora to re encounter his friends, have whacky adventures with donald and goofy with some FF characters and they fricked it royally
>Frick off
No. It's right there being a GBA game that is important to KH2. Cope.
>muh blue haired troony
So you got no argument but buzzwords? Guessed so. This is how KH3 ends by the way. With a friendship beam btfoing the supervillain
>GBA game that is important to KH2
Frick OFF
Nope. Your nostalgia betrayed you again
looks like fanart render i.e. bad
Feel free to to back to your Sony slop, dude
>hardcore defending KH past KH1
lmao bro
>Visiting every KH thread to foam out of your mouth about Disney games
Lol, lmao, dude
take your meds shizo
The mouse with the silly coat can't hurt you anymore
take your meds
Was it Donald screaming Sephiroth's name that fried your brain forever? Did that moment change you into the woman you are today
you seem agitated, take your meds
>N-No u
That was it huh? Still dilating from this?
>using buzzwords
yeah meds take em^^
>N-No u
Did you cut up your dick before or after this
meds skizzo^^
So after it. Damn. KH2 made you a woman. Not a real one but you sure as hell tried
And when you had to play portable games to understand the story everything was fricked
do you think hades is sick of getting involved with keyblade wielders at this point
KH4 will be a masterpiece
It's a miracle that this series lasted as long as it has, but I think Kingdom Hearts 3 and Sora officially getting into Smash Bros were the final hurrah.
what crossovers do you terminal morons want to see in KH4?
Jack Garland
I want it to be only FF/Square Content.
Captain EO
Jack. Neo TWEWY. More Einhander.
When did Kingdom Hearts' story go too far? For me it's Birth by Sleep
UX
Is kingdom hearts 3 worth playing?
Yes. That's the most spoonfeeding you'll get from me.
MY FRIENDS ARE MY POWER
So who was the best Xehanort incarnation and why was it Xemnas?
Choose
Namine and it isn't remotely close.
Miss Xion
I had this image as a background for my PSP good fricking times.
Yeah but they have made books and comics and a prequel and a sequel series and they never even mention what happens right after Sully opens the door and sees Boo, and then all of a sudden they tell that story (a version of it of course it's not canon) in fricking Kingdom Hearts of all places.
>blocks your path
Other people don't want what you want, cry me a river homosexual.
Maybe we don't want it, but Nomura would cream himself if he could make a Star Wars world for KH. I'd love to see what he does with it if he ever gets to use it.
That depends would Kathleen Kennedy the Feminist Boss of Star Wars allow Nomura any freedom? Because I doubt it.
If you are a grown ass adult still obsessed with this nonsensical frickery, please do the world and favour and have a nice day.
>nonsensical frickery
If you wanted a (You) you could've just asked, no need to seethe, brainlet.
>boomers can't let go of their childhood nostalgia
Kingdom hearts should have died with the 2nd one
>No one wants...
