Kingdom hearts isnt a badly written cringe story.
Kingdom hearts is a story of a man that it is fighting the Disney empire with teeth and claws. The story of a man that wanted to make a fun videogame with chuuni vibes but disney wont let him unless he puts disney cringe shit in the videogame. This is extremely obvious when you realize the direction of the games after Kingdom hearts 2 and when you see Kingdom hearts 3.
Kingdom hearts 1 was simple, disney felt the center of everything. Nomura wanted more of his OCs and less disney, so in KH2 everything disney has much less focus. In Kh3, it seemed like the game was made for OC but disney said "frick no put disney or no KH3" so he was forced to put disney shit so at the end he rushed all of the OC content Nomura wanted to make.
Nomura is fighting Disney on its own. He is the chosen one. The last bastion of videogames. This games are the proof of that. hes trying so hard to free Kingdom hearts from disney shit he is willing to put versus XIII in it.

this actually true though but the random singing had me laughing with how obviously it was forced by Disney. Also KHUx has given way more context to 3 and Re:Mind that I'm actually enjoying the anime tier bullshit and time traveling and I don't mind how disconnected the world's feel cause they are pretty cheesy with random good moments spread out.

The only bad world in 3 is Arendelle.
100 Acre Woods and Twilight Town were also trash. San Fransokyo was also pretty dull
The rest I have no complain about, they were mostly some of the best in the series
I just don't understand why san fransokyo was so fricking BIG. The world itself had many kino moments and fights. But Twilight Town was the biggest fricking letdown in the whole game for me

KH1 was made back when Squaresoft and Disney were both much different companies. Disney wasn't nearly the media titan it is now (in fact it was in a pretty bad spot post-renaissance) and Squaresoft still had a bit of soul left in it. Stop this weird historic revisionism.

KH1 was peak SOVL, Disney+FF were woven into the story perfectly. everything after that is just forced. disney for the sake of putting disney in there.

Not really, since you have org XIII presence all around the game and events dispersed much better. Disney had less focus than KH1, but it was still there to some degree.
