Sounds good. I would say they should get rid of / change the cave section and Eva escort sections but if they did legions of homosexuals would act like those were the key to what made 3 great.
I think the part which drags is when you are escaping groznyj grad after beating volgin in the fist fight and then beating shagohod which is nothing special and a lot of shooting on rails while eva drives the bike. Not everyone likes the escorting eva section but it's pretty sneaky challenge tho and iirc only three screens or so anyway. The cave section was to show off how snake's eyesight adjusted to the dark if you spent enough time there.
Interesting point. Kojima would be able to restrain himself from making changes if he were in charge. I'm sure there were things he had to cut that he would want back on, or things he thinks are lame now that he would want cut

Was there anything in the original that the Konami ethics department might remove though? I can't think of anything as "bad" as Mei Ling's apparent racism in MGS1.
Waterfall sex scene. Volgin sexual advances toward Tatiana. And Raikov. Suggestive angle when dragging Raikov's body. Just usual sex stuffs. If Konami's being a pussy maybe they'll delete it all. If they're just being conscious maybe they'll alter it a bit.
Might also remove the bits about her receiving damage to her anal cavity, implying Volgin fricked her in the ass, and her breast enlargement and previous records of her having std's, all in the medical tab of the game.

Mgs3 is great both story and gameplay, but some scenes do drag. Like the whole god damn end game after tuding the bike to the lake takes over an hour and a hal (nincluding unskipable credits), and literally 3 minutes is boss fight, then 1 minute watching ocelots gun and pixking one. The rest is cutscenes.
Why did it take them +3 years to use unreal assets and modify them to look like mgs3 snake eater if they didn't even change anything or have to re-record dialogue etc?
Also why would I buy this even in theory, if I can already play mgs3 on PS2 which looks fine and even in hd remaster on ps3 collection if I want? If nothing is changed.
