Which alternative franchise to Pokémon would be for me? >i hate nintendo >Games without fairies >I hate RPG's >game without Dragons >non-Japanese franchise >Franchise that you can only play on consoles of Playstation, Xbox, sega, atari or on PC. >franchise that is impossible to play on Nintendo consoles. >hate all pokemon
it really should've ended at the first season with Ash winning and beating the elite 4. guaranteed it would get a cult following like those old episodes of sonic. but nope. they just had to milk it for all its worth.
>it would get a cult following like those old episodes of sonic
which one? the one with the shitty ending that ends with a cancelation? some cult hit you've got.
modern pokemon anime is 50000x better than original pokemon, and i say this as someone who was huge into the franchise at the height of pokemania in the mid 90s. the old anime sucked shit and was barely animated, the artstyle of the new stuff is love it/hate it but it's animated so much better that there's really no contest.
you're 100% wrong. the anime was the least exciting part of pokemon, period. there were maybe a handful of good episodes but everyone unilaterally >shat on ash for being a shit trainer and a fricking moron >hated on misty for being fricking annoying about her bike >made fun of stupid shit like ash setting off the sprinklers in brock's gym because it wasn't anything like the games
we still watched that shit religiously obviously and the movies were a big fricking deal but frick out of here with that.
no, moron. stop fricking larping, it's extremely obvious that you're the fricking zoomer here.

what special ed school did you go to where kids made fun of the show because pikachu for setting off the sprinkler system? you do know that kind of nitpicking isn't normal, right?
Indigo League is good
I like Orange Islands but can't tell if it's just nostalgia
After that the show kind of becomes the same thing on repeat, especially when Hoenn establishes the "Ash drops his companions and all 'mons but Pikachu" thing, but if you just want to watch it for the setting and to see various Pokémon in animation it did that well. I mostly tuned out after 4kids lost the dub license and they changed all the voices, but still watched it enough to know what was going on for a while: >Johto and Hoenn were fine >Diamond and Pearl was probably the most competent Ash has ever been as a trainer >Black and White was a MASSIVE jump-the-shark moment that turned Ash into an idiot in an attempt to compensate for DP making him so competent, do not recommend >XY was fine for the most part but is understandably despised by the people who stuck with it to the end because they hyped up Ash finally going the distance and then had him job at the last second to preserve status quo >I ain't fricking watching SM or the show that came after, some people defend it but the artstyle alone turns me off
pokemon has the worst long-running series in the history of anime. it's the equivalent of watching paint dry.
shudo's blog posts pretty much say it all about the utterly miserable work environment in which that corporate slop is churned out.

They have the same issue with the anime as they do with the main game series. For some reason they're allergic to rough lines and feel the need to smooth everything out. Why do they always round everything out?

Black person 99% of all remakes SUUUUUUUCKS, western or eastern. That is also the case for sequels.
In fact, if you are not braindead at all you should never watch or play anything that isnt an original IP, if its based on something, remake, sequel or adaptation you should just ignore it or better yet, call it shit without even touching it, you are most likely right anyway. This is the only way to fix this creatively broken industry that hides their incompetence behind brand recognition, making brand recognition a bad thing.
Everthing from the new TLOU remake (why is this remake even a thing?) looked worst but I think she looks better here, not that she is more prettier, she has a middle-aged woman look that I always imagined her to have. But maybe that's just me idk.
Remakes should only be legal to make if you are autistically attached to the sorce material. Iif you don't even give a shit how things "used to be" you should never be allowed to do anything with it, or else you should be sent to jail for defacing and attempting to revision history.
>souless/souless
Pokemon was never good
zoomer here, is anime pokemon good or not
Only the first season, after that it's all shit

You mean just like Simpsons, Corpse Party, Higurashi and One Piece
I stopped reading Pokemon Adventures maga after volume 7 so I'm good

No, old pokemon has soul
No watch digimon season 1 instead.

SM is the most kino series of pokemon
It's the only series after OS that can be considered soulful
You can repeat yourself as much as you like but I'm not watching a show that looks like that, ever

not really. the older anime has its charm with its animation but its just a lot of filler
Everything after Orange Island saga is shit.
XY&Z is the only good season.
if youre a homosexual i mean yeah
But it has hetero romance and kissing. Maybe you're thinking of the new stuff with Ash's boyfriend?
> ash's bf
huh
stay in your fricking containment board, moronic serenagay
BURASTO BAN
First two seasons are fine, after that it's all a repetitive snoozefest full of filler.
the first 16 episodes are good

Japan Jaran out of ideas
>Ass no longer looks like Goku's son.
It's over...
Dude, he literally Kamehameha'd a mga ultra chicken god into oblivion. https://files.catbox.moe/pl5ymn.webm
Are humans just immune to pokemon attacks and shit for whatever reason? How isn't Ash fricking dead from all the thunder and beams?
ff7r is objectively a masterpiece, troony.
Nu-Ash genuinely looks like some really old dude trying to pass himself off as a young kid.
Guess I'll be the one to say it.
Misty was improved.
youre not their target audience anymore. you grew up.
Did Misty get a full frontal lobotomy or something?

Is ash mexicano?
>Klonoa remake
Is out? Or why you saying is not right?

Japan can't afford to hand draw anime anymore is the real problem.
Probably all the chuds that steal anime that caused it.
troony country.
>Implying they got HG/SS right
Yes, they did.
>he doesn't like it when Lugia poops master balls
zoomer!
>Z-Z-Z-ZOOOMERRRRR!!!
I accept your concession.
>>he doesn't like it when Lugia poops master balls
surprised that went past your radar.
Still not an argument
wtf why does Ash have a french mustache now
one is not like the other two
I love Serena!
Bottom looks like fan art. Embarrassing.
It is.
Klonoa remakes seem great from all I've seen.
I refuse to accept the bottom as the original trio, so the Pokemon Anime doesn't exist after this change was made.
omg Sailor Moon remake sucks too
