Regardless of whether SF or KOF is a better game i can play SFVI any time of the day waiting less than a minute.
KOF takes more than 5 minutes to find a single person whom doesn't have Chinese letters and 250 ping.
regional matchmaking is fricking broken especially when you play late at night, i was stuck rematching a lose-quitter 5 times last night until i blacklisted and accepted a crossplay wi-fi instead, capcom apparently bought every fgc influencer to not complain about it on twitter.
you also get connection error and disconnects that happen mid match at least once every hour for no reason
shit fighter 6 won't be playable until the inevitable super turbo ultra nicklediming edition

SF6 does the majority of things better, but I do find XV more fun with the only big issue being the top tiers are too good. Which SF6 might also start to suffer from though I think V did an okay job at balancing over time. XV refined the issues I had with XIV pretty well and my worries like the DI move turned out to such a non issue I forgot what it is called. SF6 will probably develop well but I just don't like a lot of modern fighting game ideas even if they did they pretty well here. XV and SNK are for better of worse old school in their approach to design. So I hope CoW can modernise the things around the gameplay while still feeling like a fun old game.

KOF is way more fun to play and look at, but SF6 has a larger player base because Capcom is still coasting on the popularity of SF2 in the 90s

gameplay wise kof. sf is the most slow boring dry shit in the genre. Snk has zero budget tho so everything else falls apart
KoF is better, but SF6 has a better playerbase.
