Konami should make a collection of these games like the Megaman Legacy collections. It would be so cool to be able to take your cards from one game to the next. Also an optional download for the manga and the anime, do it right where Capcom dropped the ball.

If konami could, they would destroy every previous Yugioh game that's ever been made so that you would have no choice but to play Master Duel and buy their shitty gems in frustration.
Buy "Yu-Gi-Oh: Legacy of the Duelist Link Evolution" if you haven't already. It covers everything Yu-Gi-Oh and is the last good traditional Yu-Gi-Oh video game that ever got made.
There's really good fan made solutions too. Yugioh Pro
this, YGO pro is the best vg adaption of yugioh I've found.
Holy frick you're right, especially when it prompts you about trigger effects at every possible opportunity. It makes me avoid setting traps just to avoid clicking 'No' 20 times a turn.
>just to avoid clicking 'No' 20 times a turn.
Is there no way to skip the confirmations?
I remember when I played Tag Force, you could just hold O so it wouldn't show you the prompts, also hold X if you want to check the board during the enemy turn.
There's a button you can click on the bottom right of the screen so that it won't ask you if you want to activate a card. The problem with this is you'll end up missing the moment you were waiting for to activate the card.
This game is totally unplayable without speedhack set to 5 because it's the slowest game in existence
Is there even any point when Master Duel exists? Why play against an AI when there's always people online who want to play.
>buy their shitty gems in frustration
Skill issue. I've never paid a single cent on this game and there's no need to. You literally earn everything you need just by playing the game.
master duel is frickin trash cause modern yugioh is trash.
>why yes i do enjoy sitting for 10 minutes while my opponent runs an endless combo for an OTK
it sucks, modern yugioh is fricking gay
Yugioh exists as a game that pairs well with smoking cigarettes. Everywhere needs to repeal their indoor smoking bans.
im down with that but what im not down with all these fricking moronic effects that bring cards removed from play back in which is what everything does now. How is it removed from play at all at that point its just another fricking graveyard. It was fun when everyone built their own decks now its all just little homosexuals following a guide.
lol remember removed from play? they officially termed the new card zone on an upcoming set card. I shit you not, the new zone of play is called Banishment. it's a new fricking zone officially.
yah i gave up on yugioh after link monsters. shit is moronic, not like they hadnt done moronic shit before that but i just couldnt handle it anymore. Its just duels between two morons who built a deck from a guide. Only spell cards worth a damn are search cards, traps are useless cause every monster has a negation effect, and has anyone seen a normal monster in the last 10 years? frick i hate it.
Link could have been way cooler, but they would have to change the field further. Adding two new spaces was lame. Add a whole row of monster spaces and we maybe be back in business.
>sitting for 10 minutes while my opponent runs an endless combo for an OTK
Skill issue. If you make a good deck than you'll be able to interrupt their combo and ruin their OTK. As I said: skill issue.
That's fair
>just draw the out bro
its not a skill issue when it happens on the first turn.
>but they got a lucky draw
there is no luck anymore when everything you need is easily searched.
there is no skill anymore all decks play themselves. the only skill involved is the ability to read.
>Why play against an AI when there's always people online who want to play.
Playing against wave after wave of meta decks is not fun to me. Tired of seeing 5head e-girl every other duel.
I want to go on an adventure, duel a variety of decks and archetypes, and get stronger with each duel. I don't want to be forced into using the absolute best cards in the meta or end up suffering unless I do.
Playing Yugioh against the AI is like trying to solve a highly complex puzzle. Playing against another player is either "draw your out on turn 3/4 or forfeit" way more often than it should be. Designing my decks around complimenting my partners' in Tag Force is incredibly engaging to me.
Don't talk to me about skill issues. Every F2P game is based around frustrating the player to get them to spend money. Yugioh's players are the most basic they've ever been. Everything is just a series of steps to follow. The 2004 event was a big eye opener. Seeing things like people using a Solemn Judgement to protect a Solemn Judgement from being destroyed.
>Is there even any point when Master Duel exists?
Oh. You're one of those types. Ew. Just, ewwwww. Go back to sucking off Konami.
> Why play against an AI when there's always people online who want to play.
OH MY SCIENCE! It's Baron De Fleur, Maxx C, and Ash Blossom again! 100 billion cards and it's always the same shit over and over again.
Didn't they literally just announce this not too long ago? they're even bringing over old GBC yugioh games we never got.
really?

We'll see how it plays out.
Nice!
Now here's to hope we'll get a Tag Force collection at some point, as well.
I'll believe it when I see it.
Any point in playing this when I could play the Tag Force games?
No sandwiches
It has some things that are unique to it. It's the only game where you can get promoted to Yellow and Blue, which is kind of interesting.
I wouldn't recommend it though unless you've already played all the Tag Force games and still want more, or are specifically nostalgic for Yu-Gi-Oh in the year 2004. (Tag Force covers Yu-Gi-Oh from 2006-2015.) I consider it to be generally inferior.
Licensing costs are too much.
Some of you may not like what I am going to say, but I wish they would fix and upgrade the AI in those games, maybe leave the original as a mode, but once you realize AI will always fall for the dumbest strategies it takes away from the game.
Frick, I lost my copy of this years ago and I've been so pissed about it. One of my most replayed GBA games
