Light just gets raped. I'm running 4 star light Kazuma/Boobaqua/Ais and it's insane. You get +speed on fricking everything, everybody has tier 3 attack buff, and that Kazuma has def down as well. Then he builds snipe in 2 actions I think, so it slows down the boss as well.

I think those that recruit automatically are also made automatically so you could get there only by joining a room while those that require manual recruitment are being made by the players. The amount of players having no idea that you need to push the button to start recruitment if you ended up on the first spot and Just sit there doing nothing is pretty astonishing so I avoid such kind of rooms like a plague.

It's been a long while but I recall unlocking the 1* variant of all the characters through playing the mainstory. Maybe because the games desynched we haven't reached the part where we would naturally unlock Komekko.

She can't 1 shot wave 1, the cabbage creatures are typless. You're supposed to use Maid Megumin to clear it, skill 1 + skill 2 always kills if you have good subs and a good weapon.

Since they recently released a 4* version of swimsuit megumin, I hope they eventually release a 4* version of winter megumin that resists water and deals fire damage.

You could tell the type of an event by its name. If it says XXX attack it's a raid event that uses main quests for boss tickets. If it says bounty hunt it's a lottery style shop event. Everything else is story events. So the next month we have two story events, one raid and one bounty hunt.
You don't need to do every hard quest daily for these. Besides friend meats I'm spending like 3-4 regular meats per day and still able to to get the most of valuable stuff from the event shop save for the most of equipment upgrade slates but these could be obtained from the arena shop if necessary.

Normally he buffs himself, curses and uses his super in turn 3. But if you slow him down, when he finally gets to his second turn he will have his super meter fully charged and will do the super instead of cursing.

Yeah, for Megumin it's more damage on waves, probably. Then you can soak up the Doom and explode ASAP with the built up meter. For someone without earrings, they want them to die and have a different high damage dealer come in and start fricking shit up.

I wish I shared this view. I was kinda expecting to just dunk on the arena boss with Erika + Danmachi Aqua and Lia but I'm still doing way better with my mage team. Although judging by top 100 it seems somehow it's the 3* Valentine Lia which is outperforming OG Lia with ease.
Valentine Lia is better than OG. And she needs to be max trialed to perform well since every trial stage raises her attack. Also she needs her second ultimate for the utility, not necessarily maxed.

no, your calculations are based on an assumption of 1% draw chance which isn't true for the legendary characters. additionally even if it were a 1% draw chance, the probability is actually closer to 71%.

well before you even think about that maybe you should try to figure out why you are using 300, 299, 298, and 297 as your numbers of rolls.

what you are calculating now is the probability that you roll a 1% in 300 rolls and then roll a 1% in 299 rolls, and then a .75% in 298 rolls, and then a .75% in 297 rolls. this is wrong because first off the pity timer is 250 rolls not 300, and second off the probabilities are not independent. rolling one four star unit on a roll means you cannot roll the other.
i think both you and the guy you were making fun of made the mistake of not taking into account how the probabilities are dependent. however i'd say the guy you made fun of actually had a better thought process since it seems he just added the inverses of the probabilities. meanwhile what you did really doesn't make any sense and only coincidentally comes near the upper bound.

Yep, seeing as all of them are limited. Take into account which characters you're more likely to use though since trials are generally more influential than individual skill levels. Aqua is the clear winner in this regard since she (and Kazuma, but he'll only be like this for less time than her though he'll still remain extremely good in wind) will see cross elemental usage whereas Darkness, while a great unit, isn't quite as good as the other two.

Idol Kazuma and Megumin are at 1% each, and Anniversary Aqua and Darkness are at 0.75% each. The other 4 star units are only ones in the permanent banner (so no swimsuits) and make up an additional 2.5%, so you have a 6% chance of rolling a 4 star unit in any roll.

Each ticket has a random series of numbers and at the end of the event the game will announce the winning number and you'll get prizes for each ticket depending on how many numbers line up. It's a passive reward and entirely luck based, you don't do anything.

What the frick
Weakness Shred, or whatever the EN version calls it, is the best debuff in the game. Take however much it reduces elemental defense by and multiple your typical Arena score by that much.
Pulled every anni character in 120 rolls. Got SS Iris from the 3rd summer banner but after 70 roll no luck with the rate up characters, not even naked Mitsubishi so I decided to stop with this. Eris pads her chest so no wonder her banner decided to screw me. I got the real goddess and this is much more important.
Each ticket has a random series of numbers and at the end of the event the game will announce the winning number and you'll get prizes for each ticket depending on how many numbers line up. It's a passive reward and entirely luck based, you don't do anything.

FES units are coming out not just for (half)annies but also in between. In JP FES Kazuma came out before 1.5 anni and Chris for the Christmas event before 2 years anni. The choices are either to replace Chris at Christmas with Kazuma, delay Kazuma's event to the spring of the next year or release them both this year. With the way how Nexon had been rushing the events lately I think the third option is the most likely.ddwv2
We had known that for months. I'm waiting for the next datamining update to see what comes after. Ninja Chris shouldn't be that far and they need to add Mel before Halloween since she is required for it just like Komekko was required for the summer banners.
Went nearly to pity for lalatina, but maxed out kazuma in that time and got one away from maxed godqua so I could just max her with the pity ticket. Picked up a couple megumins along the way. Then got chris in 30.
Went well and sitting on 60k to rebuild my stockpile.

Anyone got examples of arena teams using the new meta units? I see everyone posting they instantly got top 10 using the new meta units, but I can't get higher than my old xmaswiz/maid megu team.
Aqua works the best with physical teams in this arena since Aiz is your main dps and she doesn't benefit from Kazuma's debuff due to being off element.
How the frick do people do expert dungeon without a death? I'm running new darkness alongside aqua and lightning cielo. It was all good until the fourth stage where they just focus fire darkness down. I've been resetting but the mobs instakill her 90% of the time.

, never switched a unit until Darkness died on the last Dragon. You need to have your ults ready on that stage, and just pop them immediately. With Godqua you basically just leave a mook alive in every stage and spam your basic since it heals and make sure your other units have an action or 2 at the end. I am one of the crazy ones who fully trialed Darkness, though, so I have a +5 PW.
Also didn't know God slabs could drop from dungeon, just got one when I beat the dragon. My first slab drop ever.

First stage darkness got killed in 10 seconds despite having defense up, and 2 heals, quit the whole thing out of spite

I'm having troubles with this dungeon too.
I only did training runs so far. I tried multiple combos. It doesn't really matter whom are u using for the first two rooms provided you have Lalatina and GodAqua. Anon above said that Mitsu+Darkness+Aqua is an easy mod, but I'm not sure. On fullauto I can go till 3 room without any loses. Then it's getting hard. I'm leaning toward trying someone with dark damage instead of Mitsu (like Arue). Problem is, it takes 2 hits to kill Lalatina.
My Aqua is maxed, Mitsu and Lalatina are maxed except for affinity (30/40 both).
One thing I learned playing this game is that I may have the same units as everyone else at the same level I'm still way weaker and can't expect to be half as good.
Why? I figured it's mostly because I play casually and don't have characters maxed trialed max skilled with maxed best goddess weapons. I honesty can't think of any other reason but it's fine, I've accepted it's how this game works and when I see people saying it's "easy" with my units it's probably going to be difficult for some reason.
Do you play on full-auto? I've only played full manual a couple of times since release, the latest being clearing this dungeon. Most content can be full-autoed without any issues. However, most arenas and the dungeon obviously can't be full-autoed for the top rewards.

Stage 1: Gauge building.
Stage 2: Duck and aqua ult, focus down big guy get gauge up from little guy for next stage.

Stage 5: Mel time, same strat and just kill him I took like no damage to this thing.
Tried this and it worked like a charm.
Only thing to watch out for is that Darkness takes an insane amount of damage on stage 1 and stage 4.
If you get unlucky and your characters move after the three mobs there is a good chance Darkness just gets taken out instantly on ST1. Between this and the current arena Lizard I'm really starting to feel the NPC powercreep as we get newer and newer meta breaking characters.

the past two dungeons i've 4 starred without resets.
i think most of the difficulty comes when people don't do training mode first to figure out what the levels are like.
Never thought that I would run out of ancient coins but somehow I did. Luckily x3 free quests drops right now help to replenish these quickly and improving my stocks of some upgrade mats wouldn't hurt.

Aqua + Aiz totally carrying me through this arena despite both being off element. I haven't felt this way since Xmas Wiz got her 1.5 ulti and started steamrolling all off element arenas. And the new Darkness is an amazing sub for Aiz with +100 hp per attack helping a lot to offset her frailty.

My issue was that although I have the meta characters, I don't have that magic glue character every team is using to bridge all these broken characters together. OG Mitsu for phys or School Yunyun mage and it becomes really apparent how much weaker the 3* variants are.
Especially 3* Yunyun whose 3* variant has the most basic ass kit you could imagine.
Have you tried 3* or 4* lightning Lia instead of Mitsurugi? Her damage cut ulti might provide the necessary survivability though I never tried her since I don't have the 4* one.

I had to keep closing the app until I was able to beat stage 1 without Lia dying. Attack the beer cat first, stage 2 and 5 were easier thanks to turn 1 Lia's damage reduction super

They were pretty easy

From what I understand, Anni Darkness will be a good unit in Light, and will trivialize dungeons and EX arena when paired with Anni Aqua. I would be annoyed to not have her.

Frick it, just tell me straight; I have everyone else that was in this event, is Anni Darkness like Maid Megu and is necessary to play the game, or can I skip her and not be affected?
She is superb for dungeons and defense EX arena. But these are solvable even without her. For the regular arena she isn't as essential but still good to have.
So I should just save up quartz for the festival for a second chance, as Anni Aqua and Idol Kazuma are the only one who are really worth it in this event.

If you don't have enough quartz for another pity I wouldn't be trying to pull for her right now. My problem with waiting for a rerun aside from it possibly having lower rates is that if you spend your quartz on it you might not have enough on actually new important banners so decide yourself what you will do.

I didn't have enough quartz for the first pity originally until I finished all of the story missions I hadn't done and watched the cutscenes. But just to make sure, Anni Darkness isn't that necessary, right?

Yes, it's possible to make do without her. Aqua and Kazuma are crucial. Darkness is not even if she isn't that bad. Even without her just by having Aqua you should have easier time in dungeons than without both of them.

How are people dealing damage to the boss so quickly. The only explanation I can think of is they're hacking to skip the animations.
Light just gets raped. I'm running 4 star light Kazuma/Boobaqua/Ais and it's insane. You get +speed on fricking everything, everybody has tier 3 attack buff, and that Kazuma has def down as well. Then he builds snipe in 2 actions I think, so it slows down the boss as well.

I think those that recruit automatically are also made automatically so you could get there only by joining a room while those that require manual recruitment are being made by the players. The amount of players having no idea that you need to push the button to start recruitment if you ended up on the first spot and Just sit there doing nothing is pretty astonishing so I avoid such kind of rooms like a plague.

It's been a long while but I recall unlocking the 1* variant of all the characters through playing the mainstory. Maybe because the games desynched we haven't reached the part where we would naturally unlock Komekko.
She can't 1 shot wave 1, the cabbage creatures are typless. You're supposed to use Maid Megumin to clear it, skill 1 + skill 2 always kills if you have good subs and a good weapon.
Can a new player who still remembers unlocking the beginner versions clarify how to do it.

You could tell the type of an event by its name. If it says XXX attack it's a raid event that uses main quests for boss tickets. If it says bounty hunt it's a lottery style shop event. Everything else is story events. So the next month we have two story events, one raid and one bounty hunt.

You don't need to do every hard quest daily for these. Besides friend meats I'm spending like 3-4 regular meats per day and still able to to get the most of valuable stuff from the event shop save for the most of equipment upgrade slates but these could be obtained from the arena shop if necessary.

what you are calculating now is the probability that you roll a 1% in 300 rolls and then roll a 1% in 299 rolls, and then a .75% in 298 rolls, and then a .75% in 297 rolls. this is wrong because first off the pity timer is 250 rolls not 300, and second off the probabilities are not independent. rolling one four star unit on a roll means you cannot roll the other.
i think both you and the guy you were making fun of made the mistake of not taking into account how the probabilities are dependent. however i'd say the guy you made fun of actually had a better thought process since it seems he just added the inverses of the probabilities. meanwhile what you did really doesn't make any sense and only coincidentally comes near the upper bound.

Went 75k deep before needing to hit the ticket for aqua, I did get a few kazumas, megus and a darkness though. I'm assuming same priority for skill potions as well?
Yep, seeing as all of them are limited. Take into account which characters you're more likely to use though since trials are generally more influential than individual skill levels. Aqua is the clear winner in this regard since she (and Kazuma, but he'll only be like this for less time than her though he'll still remain extremely good in wind) will see cross elemental usage whereas Darkness, while a great unit, isn't quite as good as the other two.
Idol Kazuma and Megumin are at 1% each, and Anniversary Aqua and Darkness are at 0.75% each. The other 4 star units are only ones in the permanent banner (so no swimsuits) and make up an additional 2.5%, so you have a 6% chance of rolling a 4 star unit in any roll.

What do Anniversary Tickets do? Where do I spend them?
Each ticket has a random series of numbers and at the end of the event the game will announce the winning number and you'll get prizes for each ticket depending on how many numbers line up. It's a passive reward and entirely luck based, you don't do anything.

Man I got 3/4 in 50 pulls and had to do 100 more for Ballzuma. Still it's not that bad overall.
Remind me why Kazuma is SSS tier must pull, all I see is a wind debuff it can't do that much.
I think what the debuff does is increase the elemental weakness multiplier, he fits into all teams as it increases all on-element damage.
Weakness Shred, or whatever the EN version calls it, is the best debuff in the game. Take however much it reduces elemental defense by and multiple your typical Arena score by that much.
Pulled every anni character in 120 rolls. Got SS Iris from the 3rd summer banner but after 70 roll no luck with the rate up characters, not even naked Mitsubishi so I decided to stop with this. Eris pads her chest so no wonder her banner decided to screw me. I got the real goddess and this is much more important.

FES units are coming out not just for (half)annies but also in between. In JP FES Kazuma came out before 1.5 anni and Chris for the Christmas event before 2 years anni. The choices are either to replace Chris at Christmas with Kazuma, delay Kazuma's event to the spring of the next year or release them both this year. Aqua works the best with physical teams in this arena since Aiz is your main dps and she doesn't benefit from Kazuma's debuff due to being off element.
All of them are 555, except for Kazuma (351).

How the frick do people do expert dungeon without a death? I'm running new darkness alongside aqua and lightning cielo. It was all good until the fourth stage where they just focus fire darkness down. I've been resetting but the mobs instakill her 90% of the time.
I just beat the dungeon myself, with this comp
, never switched a unit until Darkness died on the last Dragon. You need to have your ults ready on that stage, and just pop them immediately. With Godqua you basically just leave a mook alive in every stage and spam your basic since it heals and make sure your other units have an action or 2 at the end. I am one of the crazy ones who fully trialed Darkness, though, so I have a +5 PW.
Also didn't know God slabs could drop from dungeon, just got one when I beat the dragon. My first slab drop ever.

First stage darkness got killed in 10 seconds despite having defense up, and 2 heals, quit the whole thing out of spite

I'm having troubles with this dungeon too.
I only did training runs so far. I tried multiple combos. It doesn't really matter whom are u using for the first two rooms provided you have Lalatina and GodAqua. Anon above said that Mitsu+Darkness+Aqua is an easy mod, but I'm not sure. On fullauto I can go till 3 room without any loses. Then it's getting hard. I'm leaning toward trying someone with dark damage instead of Mitsu (like Arue). Problem is, it takes 2 hits to kill Lalatina.
My Aqua is maxed, Mitsu and Lalatina are maxed except for affinity (30/40 both).
One thing I learned playing this game is that I may have the same units as everyone else at the same level I'm still way weaker and can't expect to be half as good.
Why? I figured it's mostly because I play casually and don't have characters maxed trialed max skilled with maxed best goddess weapons. I honesty can't think of any other reason but it's fine, I've accepted it's how this game works and when I see people saying it's "easy" with my units it's probably going to be difficult for some reason.
Do you play on full-auto? I've only played full manual a couple of times since release, the latest being clearing this dungeon. Most content can be full-autoed without any issues. However, most arenas and the dungeon obviously can't be full-autoed for the top rewards.

Stage 1: Gauge building.
Stage 2: Duck and aqua ult, focus down big guy get gauge up from little guy for next stage.
Stage 3: Iris time, same strat as before.
Stage 4: Same strat but focus little guy first.
Stage 5: Mel time, same strat and just kill him I took like no damage to this thing.
Tried this and it worked like a charm.
Only thing to watch out for is that Darkness takes an insane amount of damage on stage 1 and stage 4.
If you get unlucky and your characters move after the three mobs there is a good chance Darkness just gets taken out instantly on ST1. Between this and the current arena Lizard I'm really starting to feel the NPC powercreep as we get newer and newer meta breaking characters.

Never thought that I would run out of ancient coins but somehow I did. Luckily x3 free quests drops right now help to replenish these quickly and improving my stocks of some upgrade mats wouldn't hurt.

Aqua + Aiz totally carrying me through this arena despite both being off element. I haven't felt this way since Xmas Wiz got her 1.5 ulti and started steamrolling all off element arenas. And the new Darkness is an amazing sub for Aiz with +100 hp per attack helping a lot to offset her frailty.
My issue was that although I have the meta characters, I don't have that magic glue character every team is using to bridge all these broken characters together. OG Mitsu for phys or School Yunyun mage and it becomes really apparent how much weaker the 3* variants are.
Especially 3* Yunyun whose 3* variant has the most basic ass kit you could imagine.
Have you tried 3* or 4* lightning Lia instead of Mitsurugi? Her damage cut ulti might provide the necessary survivability though I never tried her since I don't have the 4* one.

I had to keep closing the app until I was able to beat stage 1 without Lia dying. Attack the beer cat first, stage 2 and 5 were easier thanks to turn 1 Lia's damage reduction super

They were pretty easy

She is superb for dungeons and defense EX arena. But these are solvable even without her. For the regular arena she isn't as essential but still good to have.
So I should just save up quartz for the festival for a second chance, as Anni Aqua and Idol Kazuma are the only one who are really worth it in this event.
If you don't have enough quartz for another pity I wouldn't be trying to pull for her right now. My problem with waiting for a rerun aside from it possibly having lower rates is that if you spend your quartz on it you might not have enough on actually new important banners so decide yourself what you will do.

I didn't have enough quartz for the first pity originally until I finished all of the story missions I hadn't done and watched the cutscenes. But just to make sure, Anni Darkness isn't that necessary, right?
Yes, it's possible to make do without her. Aqua and Kazuma are crucial. Darkness is not even if she isn't that bad. Even without her just by having Aqua you should have easier time in dungeons than without both of them.
