Korean movies are making a decent impact on streaming services, now they are creeping into games
>Lies of P
>Dave the Diver
Two from 2023 from the top of my head that are insanely succesful.
Whats going on? Why did Korea suddently start making entertainment shit? And why not earlier?

Why are Koreans with monolids so hot?
Chrono ark and limbus company are also kor games
It's just 2 games
>Why did Korea suddently start making entertainment shit? And why not earlier?
??? The MMO genre was dominated by koreans for the past 2 decades
Just because you don't know anything other than WoW doesn't mean they weren't making "entertainment shit" lol
>MMO that isnt FF XIV or WoW
Don't care
Cum in Hoyeon
Why can't they breed? North Korea will end up winning by simply not going extinct.
doesn't help that the country was blatantly controlled by some feminist group for a time
now everyone gets triggered by a stupid hand sign signalling "small penis"
that latter point isn't a reason, but just a funny effect of it all
>Overworking yourself to death for one of the Samsung wagie camps to the point of not having enough time for kids
Worst Korea is a dystopia
Unironically.
>0 production value webtoons made by a actual Korean sweatshop
>mogging anything
lmao
Shit like Breaker is good, but the korean market basically destroyed any chance of quality.
Sure you get shit like Last God Kubera, but there is a few thousand super cencored series for every Kubera.
Didn't their dictator cry like a b***h about their people not having sex? Lmao
Fake and gay npc taste. Nothing good has come from Korea since the Ragnarok Online / Mabinogi / Rakion / GunZ era. Even chinks managed to entertain me more with their 1 singular piece of recent decent media (Reset)
I've got to ask, how much do you get paid to make these shit threads? And on Christmas?
I thought asiatics were meant to be Christians?
>lies of of who?
>dave the who?
They peaked with ragnarok, DFO and maplestory. If anything korean games are a shadow of itself, chasing trends and copying others instead being the frontrunners.
I agree, they have already surpassed Japan.
Korea has been making decent titles for a long time, the issue is just that they never made it out of korea. A lot of the classics (White Day, Astonishia story R) are getting released with translations now, but it's a bit late. A lot of the excursions early on to the west for korea were also abject failures, things like hellgate london, lineage 2, aion, tera.
>watch animes
>episode where japs have class on christmas day
do atheists really?
>Why did Korea suddently start making entertainment shit?
Korean made the original gacha/lootbox game MapleStory what do you expect?
>original gacha/lootbox game maplestory
that would be quizworld99. Also nexon owned, but maplestory didn't have lootboxes or gacha until after japan started doing it. All cosmetics were just pick and buy permanent in kr (90 days in the west), no gacha (pygmy eggs which let you pick what reward you wanted and required different amounts of resources to unlock versus the gacha machines in the west).
Also had an auction house way before the west cause lmao the israelites that own nexon america really wanted to wring every fricking cent they could out of it.
Guess we better enjoy Koreans before they off themselves eventually
>Some Soul rip-off
>Indie pixel shit that mostly got popular because of the submarine incident.
Literally one of the few "okay" games they have is Blue Archive since it's culturally dominating Japan, and it's a fricking gacha. Lies of P and Dave the Diver will be forgotten in time.
I forgot about those games 1 week after they released
>manhwa mogged manga
>kpop mogged jpop
>kfilm mogged jfilm
Will this happen in games?
>manhwa mogged manga
lol.
It did.
You're kinda forgetting they're the MMORPG superpower.
Korean movies have been held in high regard ever since Oldboy, you dumb zoomie
lma0 kys asiatic/stan
Dave the Diver and Lies of P don't even have any memes that went global and therefore, are not even significant enough to be part of popular culture
Korea's film rennaissance is already over. It peaked in the 2000's and blew its wad before the decade was over.
