You homosexuals told me it sucks, but the first 10 hours are amazing. Why did you lie to me again, Ganker?

I thought this died on the Wii U. What's it even about?
A bunch of anime blobs journey into Japan's entertainment industry
The gameplay is great, but everyone shits on it for everything else
easily the worst jrpg ever made
xc2 is a close second, but even that one isn't THAT bad
It did suck and for all the weeb criticism XB2 gets, this game is leagues worse
The gameplay is great. People are just angry about smt x fe tease and instead we got smt battle system with weapon triangle ft the entertainment industry.
Good thing that 90% of the game is dungeon crawling.
Depends on the version you played. Wii U had loading out the ass and you couldn't fast forward combat animations, which meant the 6+ hit combos you'd start chaining without even trying would take (or at least feel like) over a minute per character by endgame.
Just wait till you put over 60 hours into it
Great game
bought WiiU and Switch versions
Like the others said the gameplay is solid and the "social links" and subquests are straightforward enough that you'll likely complete them on your own without much hassle by the end of the main story which makes for decent playtime. Its bad reputation comes from the initial advertising, development troubles, censorship and the general distaste for the whole idol setting
>NANI?
>DATTO?
im not playing a coomer game without the coomershit
I got this when it came out just out of curiosity. Admittedly, you have to have an extremely high tolerance for idolshit but deep down the gameplay is pretty good. I can see why all the SMT and Fire emblem fans were pissed and the censored was just the cherry on the shit cake. Maybe if it was rebranded it would have actually had an audience instead of burning every bridge it had.
i remember I was excited when the concept was teased, and I remember laughing my ass off for an hour when they finally revealed the real game, and I remember buying it day one anyway.
Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against turn based battles since I'm not underage, but gameplay revolves around performing chains with the same fricking animation so battles get repetitive and boring.
Wasn't so bad in the Switch version which let you fast-forward/skip them at least
>censored shit
It's not a good SMT game, the fire emblem shit was just BUY FATESWAKENING, cast only had like 2 fun characters, idolshit will never be anything but pure cancer.
