Just cheese it. Any time you get low on health, stand in the corner and farm his little orb things, then jump on his claws and do whatever missile damage you can until you are low on health again.
>Shoot the bouncy ball as soon as it comes out >You can farm health this way
Kek are you really getting filtered by a boss that lets you farm health as much as you want?
Metroid bosses are classically damage sponges. Only in SR and Dread did they include qtes to inflict meaningful damage. You can beat the bosses without doing them however dealing unblockable damage > chipping at a moving target. Charged shots and missiles are the primary means of dealing damage. Excepting bosses having weakpoints in Dread that are susceptible to normal damage to trigger a qte. E.g. kraid's belly button or that first boss' tail orb.
The shit that pissed me off is how janky the controls can be. >If you touch the joystick at all without L fully held down you will drop off the hanging point when trying to aim
It was much more annoying of a battle mechanically than it needed to be
Pic related are the ratings in Germany and all the negatives are about the EMMIs. They literally got filtered by the first one. This game has its flaws but complaining about that makes me hate normalgays.
After listening to the OST of Metroid Dread on youtube i must say that the OST isn't as bad as i though.
I love this one but never noticed in the game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEZ8QKzmIRg
I wish you can turn up the music volume.
Someone explain to me the point of putting a regular missile cover behind a storm missile block from a game design point.
Hell, someone tell me the point of regular missile covers at all in this game. not like you unlock those later and might need to come back for them.
Well, it's a missile count check I guess, but that's so easily overcomeable. I guess it's just a very slight level of engagement. I mean if you assume they're only to check that you have the weapon then you could ask why any of these kinds of doors exist after the area in which you get it. Green missile doors are equally meaningless after Green Brinstar in Super for example, but they do exist.
git gud
No
Just use bombs lol
Duck moron

>died twice to Kraid and squid
>got final boss first try
well that was underwhelming
Okay
Finally cleared it and got hit only once on second phase
But I still think that his orbs having too much hp
you can literally destroy them AND hit his belly at the same time with 1 (ONE) charged shot
They take a single charge shot

any tips for beating the game under 4 hours? I just cleared normal 100% for the first time in 10 hours
At first I was getting beat by all the bosses until I realized that missiles are the key to wining every boss fight it seems.

the key is to parry because if you parry you do like 2x or 3x the dmg
How the frick do you guys struggle with these boss fights?
I don't I've died to a boss yet and I'm in the last area of the game.
Just wait till you get to the last couple of bosses. The game isn't even difficult yet, anon.
What I'm suppose to do here?
Nothing can damage him.
Melee counter certain attacks.
Parry
walk up like a chad and slap him
Does any attack in the third (wings) phase parryable? I can't be sure.
the only one would probably be the stomp, and I never heard or saw the cue.
when he taunts you can melee him and start a qte where his armor goes off
I beat it...
I miss bosses turning red when you damage them more. Anyone else?
Yes
In the sense that it give a clear indicator how far into the fight you are and how hurt they were, yeah.
The shit that pissed me off is how janky the controls can be.

The controls are fricking god tier you tard.
>Kraid second phase is literally impossible
It's not even that different from Super Metroid
How did these 10 year olds do it then?
Ehm, Metroid bros?!
>11 ratings
>amazon
Most negative Amazon reviews for pretty muich anything are about Amazon's service rather than the product itself.

>Jump 3 times
>Unload missiles at the projectiles and his mouth
>Parry his heavily telegraphed melee
Kraid was the easiest boss in the game wym

Missile covers in SR and Dread more than anything are indicators of a new item being behind the door.
bro this is like the easiest kraid ever, fricking zero mission kraid is a pain the ass if you don't have early super missiles
Fourth phase?
Frick this gay shit, I'm leaving.
It's literally just the first phase again.
You got filtered.
>4th
Huh the boss has only 3 phases with a cinematic phase attached to it.
Power bomb his golden sun move, screw attack upwards for his beam so you can land and blast, and missile his orb thing it isn't too bad
Counter when you go up
just doing my hardmode run and now everything clicks
